There are eight questions in

this General Knowledge round. Here is question number one. The symbol of Christianity called the ichthys that you see on lots of cars and trucks, is in the shape of what and I'll spell ichthys. It's spelled h ys. The symbol of Christianity called the ichthys that you see on the backs of lots of cars and trucks is in the shape of what? For question number one? And if you need a hint, I can give you a hint. Please

the hint please. This is the international symbol. Correct, I will say it's I'll give you the hint that it's in the shape of an animal. Question number two? Who appeared on the very first issue of Rolling Stone magazine back in nineteen sixty seven?

What musician appeared on the very first issue of Rolling Stone all the way back in nineteen sixty seven? For question numero dos it is neither, right, said Fred? Nor is it Melissa Manchester? Nor is it the Manhattan Transfer? So I'm okay, So first Melissa Manchester, every time, the Manhattan Transfer. That's what I had, Mike. Have you seen that movie Drop Dead Gorgeous I have where she's singing with Don't Cry all out? Yeah, Greg Manchester reference I Love You, I Love It. Are we ready for

question number three? Yes, We're going to get a little historical with question number three, What Chinese leader who ruled from nineteen forty nine all the way through nineteen seventy six was sometimes called the Red Sun? S U n again for question number three, What famous Chinese leader who ruled from nineteen forty nine

through nineteen seventy six was sometimes called the Red Sun? For question number three, you ever like you ever write something down and you're you have two options, two ways that this is going to go, and one of them is that you're an absolute genius and the other one is that you're about to be very embarrassed. I love you, guys. Is that just me? Is?

No? No? No, There is stuff with mostly like old kings and queens are leaders of like Western civilization where oftentimes I'm like a thousand years off in my guess where I'm like even close. You're like was it nineteen sixty four And you're like it was three point thirty BC? And you're like, oh shit, okay, cool. I like that where in your mind you were like, oh well, yes, you're just at a thousand years different in history. This is the wrong century. I'm thinking someone's gonna say,

Tanner, no, that's the villain in a Bruce Lee movie. That's that's not a leader of any country. That's a French pastry tanner. Yeah. Yeah, well we'll see, We're gonna see soon enough, all right. Question number four has arrived before Thanksgiving Day. Some people soak the bird in a salt water solution better called what or what's the function of that? You put it in? What? For question number four? I have yet to do this, but I know people that do it, and it's delicious.

All right, Moving right along to question number five. What gymnast recently became the most decorated gymnast of all time? Question? God, I know that one, you better know the second. Hold on, why do you know that one? James? Because I'm one hundred percent that dude. I know pop culture for like the last twenty years, not for written last ninety years. Captain, captain backflip in the house. I was actually, I actually was a gymnast. Where am I blinking on her name? I know

her this face. I can keep blinking so I can get the points. Keep blinking tatter, It's okay, keep blinking this this will come to me. I'm going to circle back to this one. Yes, it'll come to you again. For question number five, what gymnasts recently became the most decorated gymnast of all time. For question number five, Question number six kind of a cable TV question. What does the channel TBS stand for? TBS? What does that stand for? For question number six, it's been around for

forty plus years. I think a superstation back in the day, like WGN out of Shy. Yeah, WGN the superstation. Yeah, So what does the channel TBS stand for? A question number six? What does that mean? A superstation means they have their own news big, very very big for a long It's a real big station. Hand Gesters are the best. That's what I love about working with Tanner. Here's a handjuster for everything. He is. Those emojis, this one. He's all the hand gester emojis.

I'm this guy. That's my early work. That's fine. Oh if you could only see this at home, folks, I know, I know, so sorry everyone listening. Yeah, I think superstation just meant it had a wide reach, Like you could get those channels in Idaho and Washington and New Mexico and New Hampshire. It was like those stations had reached that other stations didn't. Well, WGN was a cable state. It was on cable,

wasn't it wasn't at It wasn't do two ur antenna. It was definitely a cable at that cabley Benji, Yeah, Chicago's very WG there it is all right. We're down to two questions in the general knowledge realm. We're flying right along. Question number seven goes like this, what author wrote the very huge best selling novels Sharp Objects and Gone Girl wrote both of those best selling novels. Who wrote them? Need the author's name, last name? Will

Suffice who wrote Sharp Objects and Gone Girl? I know this, I know a great movie seven also and Gone Girl allegedly reportedly there claims that you can see Ben Affleck's penis as he stepped into the shower with what's her face? That's funny. Question number eight is draw Ben watch party, Watch party, gentlemen, so bizarre pose it posit is that it that's if you did. There's actual pictures they did, and there's people who got like, wow,

it is his anatomy. There's some stuff. Yeah, I just watched May December last night. Have you seen that yet? No, not a spoiler of any sorts, But there is a shot where you're just like oh man, very very healthy gentleman. Right there, Holy question number eight, your final question in the general knowledge round, what country suffers from the most tornadoes?

Which country has the most tornadoes at around one thousand per year? Which country has the most tornadoes with that number being and or around one thousand per year? For question number eight, Well, pencils down. We will go over your answers in just a few seconds. But it's time to meet our tremendous guests starting off from Broken Bow ok Clahoma. This guy you could see all the time on Dish Nation. It's been around for a dozen years.

You start off, you're up one nothing. It's one to nothing. You can follow mister Carter on social media at Jason Carter Official. And what charity are you

playing for? Good sir, Mike, I'm playing for the ASPCA, and I am because I have two doggy puppy babies I love in a door and I think animal croulty is just abhorrent and disgusting, and they we are their voice. We have to protect them and take care of them and speak for them. And my dogs changed my life. So it only makes sense for me to help change the lives of other pets and educate other people on how

to take care of animals, because animals make the world go round. They're wonderful, they're great, they're great for mental health, and I love them. So yeah, agreed. Well, we're happy to give a donation in your name to the a s PCA win or lose. You know our contestants today, you know what great causes they're playing for. But let's get back to brass tax and go over the answers to a very fun and interesting General

Knowledge Round questions. There were eight questions in the General Knowledge Round. Question number one was the symbol of Christianity called the ichthys and that's spelled ic h t h ys that you see on lots of the backs of cars and trucks. Is in the shape of what will start with you? Jason, what did you get for number one? It's in the shape of a fish, shape of a fish. Tanner, what did you put for number one? I put this little It looks like it's in the shape of a fish.

That single unbroken line there, it is there. It is one for one. The ikthus is in the shape of a fish feeling good? Feeling good? One for one? All right? Question number two. Who appeared on the first issue of Rolling Stone magazine back in nineteen sixty seven? You had to name the musician for number two ten or we'll start with you. For number two? What did you get? My best guess is Jimmy Hendricks. Jimmy Hendricks. Excellent guest, Jason Carter. Do you agree or did you

go your own way? I am to quote Fleetwood Mac. I went my own way. I said, Elvis, you picked two excellent guess we have Elvis Presley versus Jimmy Hendrix. The correct answer is John Lennon, John Lennon. I was gonna put John, Oh my god, but it didn't put it? Did you? Jay? I haven't written right here, John Lennon, John the Linz sy go three right. I'm sorry about you. We did see it. He did. He was thinking it. Imagine if we both had gotten that right. It's okay, can't be perfect, but we

did learn something and now you'll never forget that. The first issue Rolling Stone, John Lennon. Question number three. What Chinese leader who ruled from forty nine to seventy six was sometimes called the Red the Red Son Jason. It's a guy. I think his name starts with an M. Mao Mao Mao the Dong, Mauth the dog Mao se Dong is your guest, Tanner? What did you put for number three? I put the exact same thing, but I was convinced I was wrong. Yes, so we have Mao Setong

and maot Setong. The correct answer is Mao say Tong, who was that famous Chinese leader known as the Red Sun showing their work question numbers about that? Look at us a gossip, queens. Don't you know that? I don't know that. There's going to be another moment for the rest of this show that I'm more proud of than the fact that you and I both got Chinese history. Honey, Yeah, that answer deserves a huzza. You're not just pretty faces, right right, freaking Aliens. I'm sweating. I was

sweating about that. I was like, there's no way this can be right. This is yes. Don't overthink it. Don't overthink it. You nailed it. Question number four. Before Thanksgiving Day, some people soak the bird in a saltwater solution better called what Tanner? Oh I mean? Oh? Cose Tanner sorry, well, I my understanding is it is a brine a Brian. Jason, do you agree with that? I concur it is a

Brian. The correct answer is a Brian or Briany that you do to the bird Brian, Yes, soak it in some saltwater first and then cook it up. Question, I have what gymnast recently became the most decorated gymnast of all time. Mister Carter, We're starting with you, the Simone Biles, Simone Biles Tanner. Did it come to you? It did not. In full embarrassment, I could not call Simone Biles. I could not. I could not pull that name to the front of my head. Okay, there's

some other great ones. Shannon Miller, Mary Lourett, and Gabby Miller and OKI also also dominated. Carrie Strong with a one with one leg the Vault, Yeah, Bella Caro, Shannon Miller last week because she she recovered from obarian cancer. Shadow very yeah, and so we talked about it. But I remember Atlanta ninety six, man, that was like real. I think I did a question recently where I think she was kind of tied with Simone when it came to American gymnast. She was right there, and then Simone

just went to the Nationals and won like ten more Metal. It was like, I was like, oh my, oh my beer, I'm going to take two years off and then come back and just destroy everyone. Kind of nuts. So again for question number five, we were looking for Simone Biles the goat. Question number six, what does the channel TBS stand for? Tanner? I wrote, Turner Broadcast Studios, Turner Broadcast Studios. Jason, what did you put? I put something that can to that, but not

exactly that. My answer was Turner Broadcasting Station. You know what, I'm going to give you both a half point because you're both very very close. It is Ted Turner station, so it is the Turner Broadcasting System, Turner Broadcasting System. So I'll give you a half point because you got Turner, which was important to the whole thing. So you each get a half point. For question number six, he was cool back in eighty one computer,

I'll do what I wanted, Turner Boulevard here in Atlanta. CNN. That's it, CNN, Coca Cola, all right. Question number seven, your penultimate question in the general knowledge around. I need the author's name for this one. Who wrote Sharp Objects? As well as Gone Girl. I know you've heard of this person's name, but did it come to you, Jason, Yes, it did, both great books and movies. I would imagine it would be a well known author named Gillian Flynn. Jillian Flynn Tanner,

what did you get for number seven? Well, this isn't the name, but I'm pretty sure it was Howard Zen. Howard Zen a People's History of the United States, which is a great, great book. The correct answer for this one it's not Howard Zenn, even though he's fantastic. It's Jillian Flynn rhymes with Zen. But it is Jillian Flynn, who wrote both Sharp Objects and Gone Girl. Question number eight? What country suffers from the most

tornadoes? At around one thousand per year? Tanner? I could be overconfident in this because I am from Oklahoma, which is smack dab in the middle of a tornado alley, But I'm gonna say it is the United States. In fact, these here United States. Jason, what did you put for number eight? I put New Zealand, New Zealand. That's a great guess. The correct answer is, in fact, these here United States. We're number one. We're number one. You've been in argument. I mean a

tornado before. Oh yeah, what's it like? Very loud, very windy, sounds like sounds in the distance. It sounds like a freight train. And yeah, I was in like tornadoes as like a kid. Oh my gosh, look at this. All right, So we have our first scoreboard update after a very fun general knowledge round. It's Jason Carter in the lead, five and a half to Tanner's four and a half. It's a one point game after one. One point Jay, I'm coming back. I want you to know, all right, it is five and a half to four

and a half after one. As we enter round two, which is our pop culture grab bag Round two, pop culture grab Bag today. In bag, you guys are all about pop culture, so I think you're going to do pretty well in the grab bag today. This category, I don't think we've done this before, but it's directional TV and film. These are all TV shows or films that have some sort of direction in their names or their titles. There are eight questions in the round. Here is question number one.

President Josiah Bartlett and his staff, President Josiah get it and his staff? Okay, got it? Oh my god, you guys are braggarts do all right? We were through question number one, where we've arrived at question number two. What musical gave us the hit songs? Some Enchanted Evening? And I'm going to wash that man right out of my hair? For question number two again directional, TV and film. What musical gave us the hit songs Some Enchanted Evening? And I'm going to wash that man right out of

my hair? How do I know that that name musical? I'm drawing such a blank. For number two, I'm going to wash that man right out of my hair. Why do I know that they used that in a commercial? They used it in a TV shampoo commercial. I've got a decent musical knowledge. We did a lot of musicals in high school, and I think we did this one. So I just have to think about it for man,

Yeah, think about it for a second. Yeah, I think the TV commercial was I'm going to wash that gray right out of my hair for a you know, directionable, But it's the directional thing that's throwing that throw me too, me too well, but has some direction in this title, see we do. It's gonna hit you like a lightning bolt. I can feel it. No, Mike, I'm sorry to let you down. It's not I I yeah, I was. I was really coffent earlier. Now

I'm rethinking my life choice is beautiful. All right, you know who you are. Question number three in your pop culture grab bag again, this is a directional TV and film which Alfred Hitchcock classic climaxes at Mount Rushmore very famously. They're climbing around the faces of Mount Rushmore in this Alfred Hitchcock classic.

For question number three, hmmm, wow, these are really hard. That's that's why you were on Jeopardy and I wasn't because like this is like the most question number four, which show gave us both Tally and Timmy Tally and Timmy, which TV show gave us both of those two fantastic characters. For question number four, would you guys say there's a Tally man Tally? All

right, let's move on to question number five. Question number five. Vigo Mortensen and Naomi Watts starred in this Russian mob flick back from two thousand and seven. Really great film. I think it was directed by Cronenberg. From the number I almost brought I believe I know what film this is, and I almost brought this up earlier when we were talking about exposed penises servers.

This film, does it, Mike, Does this film not have an incredibly violent action scene with Vigo Mortensen's switchblade all over the place, just flopping around, And yeah, Yes, it's a naked it's a nude crazy fight scene in like a bathhouse. Yeah, I don't think the title is two words. The titles two words. I know the first word is that's very directly related to the category nudge, But I'm trying to remember the second word again.

I will repeat the question for question number five, Vego Mortenson and Naomi Watts starring this Russian mob flick back from two thousand and seven that I believe was directed by David Cronenburg. It is a two word title for number five. Like, I am even pretty confident that I know the letter of the second word. But there are I have two words that are like fanatically close enough that I'm not sure which one of which we shall see Pier's question number

seven. This is probably the deepest cut of all. Name the Nick Nolty sports flick for nineteen seventy nine. That is a satire professional football in the Lone Star State. It's a comedy that was in the late seventies, Nick Nolty starring Nick Nolty. I Think He's a receiver for the football Team sports flick from nineteen seventy nine that is a satire of professional football in the lone Star State. For question number seven, we have arrived at the final question

in your pop culture grab bag. It was directional TV and film. Natalie Wood and Rita Moreno star in this beloved musical Finally one. I know, there you go. Maybe that'll help you out with number two. Okay, all right, okay, I think you know. Hey, I'm I'm it's going to go for it. Yep, all right again for number eight, Natalie Wood and Rita Moreno star in this beloved musical formnumber eight. Okay, pencils down. Let's go over your answers for the pop culture grab background two.

Here it was directional TV and films. We haven't done this before eight questions in the round. Question number one goes like this, President Josiah Bartlett and his staff Tanner, what did you get for number one? The West Wing? The West Wing? Jason, what did you get for number one? I echo Tanner's answer. The West Wing aired on NBC for multiple seasons was Cande. You don't get bonus points for that. You don't get bonus points for that? Well, not part of my see TV, but definitely

was a noteworthy drama. God, we're getting TV history right here, folks. It is, in fact the West Wing. For question number one, You're starting out very well, all right, this is where it may be. This is where we start to derail though. What physical for question number two? Gave us the hit songs some enchanted evening and I'm going to wash that man right out of my hair? Jason, did it come to you?

For number two? The only thing that has arrived is a great, big question mark, no question mark your answer, Tanner, did you come up with something? Well? When you drew out the hint for question number eight, I thought maybe you were being very helpful, and so I went down on a limb and I'm thinking, wash that man right out of my hair? Is also West Side story? Oh okay, so you thought it was a doubler west Side Story and a big question mark. The one we're

going for is South Pacific. South Pacific. That is the musical. I was gonna say a lot of high schools do South Pacific. We didn't do that one. We did Brigadoon, Seven Brothers, brig the Dune Bride. It was the bomb bring it. It was incredible. We love Brigadoon. That's a that's a good musical. But I feel like that is a little deeper cut than South Pacific. I feels like one of them stays for like High School, the Spring Musical or whatever. Absolutely South Pacific. We'll move

on to number three in the round, which Alfred Hitchcock Classic Climaxes. That a scene at Mount Rushmore. There's also a very famous crop duster that's trying to mow down the famous lead actor in this film. Tanner, what did you get for number three? Well, I hope I got this right because I definitely know the images. I'm going to say south By Southwest, south By Southwest, Jason, what did you put for number three? I'm going to go to colder climbs and say north By Northwest. We have south By

Southwest or north By Northwest. The correct answer is north By Northwest is the classic Tanner had it. He just mixed up the direction. Man. Mount Rushmore is like you know in the North and South Dakota, South Dakota. It's north. It's the kind of north of the I mean, this is a black hill of South Dakota. I know, but Miami doesn't get more north than that. Yes, how did I screw that up? It's okay. I think it just popped in your head and you wrote it down and

you didn't think about it. Yeah, that's that's most of my life. But it is north by north West. Yeah. For number three with Carrie Grant, Yeah, answer and he is saying yeah. Rogers and Hammerstein did South Pacific? Question number four? What show gave us? Towley and Timmy For number four, Jason, question Mark out here? Are you serious as a heart attack? Yes? I don't claim to be perfect. I'm incredible, but not perfect. Tanner help him out? Going down to South are

going to see some friends of mine? Your buddy. I never watched South Parker never watched South park all right? Question number five. Vigo Mortensen and Naomi wattstar in this Russian mob flick from two thousand and seven, directed by David Cronenberg. Tanner, did it come to you? For question number five? It is I believe Eastern promises? Eastern promises? Was it big? Question Mark at the end of that word promises. For Tanner, Jason,

what did you put for number five? I put Eastern occurrences. That's a lie. You didn't put occurrences Eastern things that sort of happened. I mean Eastern. This is great. Why are you shaming my answer when you are not confident in your answer? And the least but yeah, here you are throwing dagger's virtually at me about a title. So we have Eastern for both parties, but we we have promises and or occurrences, Eastern occurrences or easterns

promises the correct answer happenstances. Yeah, yeah, Eastern happenings. It's Eastern promises for number five. Circle gets the square from Tanner Thomason for question number five, Question number six. Elia Kazand directed James Dean in this epic based on a John Steinbeck novel. Jason Carter, I'm going to go with Mike South of Texas. South of Texas. They could have just called it Mexico, but they wanted to be clever. Yeah, the Rio Grande. Tanner,

what did you get for number six? I got nothing, bor Mike just drawn blanks on that one. This one, this is the growner this. You've heard this, You've probably seen this. You were supposed to read it in high school. It's called East of Eden? Of Eden? Is that third James Dean You guys mentioned Rebel without a Cause and Giant. East of Eden? Is that third James Dean film for number six. That's a great title for a film. Behind that, isn't that? Isn't East of

Eden where he's got that. He's like, you're tearing me apart? Isn't that east of Eten? It could be. I don't know if that's Rebel without a Cause or East of Eden, because it's it's one of the three. We'll have Annie look it up. You're tearing me apart. That's the phrase that uh Tommy Weiso stole for the Room. Also part of that ensing song from nineteen ninety eight, when I'm with you without tearing on my heart, never mind tearing me apart, tear me tearing in my heart. It's

rebel. Yeah. Annie's telling us Rebel without a Cause is where he's saying, you're tearing me apart. Oh man, I'm stinking up this game, guys. Okay, this is this is this has turned into a tougher tougher round. This is a tough round. And speaking of tough, here's question number seven. This is probably the deepest cut of all. Name the Nick Nolty sports fla from nineteen seventy nine. That is a satire professional football in the lone Star State, Tanner, Did you venture a guest the Longest Yard?

Ooh, that's a great sports flick, Jason, what did you put? Bad News Bears? Bad News Bears two of my favorite sports flicks of all time. Bad News Bears in the Longest Yard. You'll never forget it, or maybe you'll forget it right after I say it, because it is a deeper cut. It's called North Dallas forty. The North Dallas forty. Is that satire starring a young Nick Nolty? For question number seven? Yeah, now, and then we're finishing strong though. We're getting back on the

trolley with question number eight. Natali Wood and Rita Moreno star in this beloved musical Jason Carter Well. It featured choreography from Jerome Robbins and music from Stephen Sondheim. Actually, Stephen King remade this last Christmas where Arina de Bo's won an Oscar. I would imagined that would be West Side Story, one of the best movies of all time. I was a shark in that high school musical. I played better than Ardo, of course, and then they recast

me and then I was somebody else because I wasn't great. They were like, why is Bernardo Black? So I was a shark when they made some other guy who was more perfect than me. But it's West Side Story. I love it. Double t What did you get for number eight? So also a west Side Story. When you're a jet, you're a jet through and through or something jet all the way, You're a jet all the way. Yeah, like I said, I'm a jet all the way, all the way, and the wind comes rolling down the plane. Again. Yes,

for number eight, we are talking about West Side a story. So we're tabulating our scores and would you look at this, we are talking it's a tie ball game, eight and a half to eight and a half at halftime, folks. We are all tied up here at halftime at eight and a half apiece. For again, we're playing with Tanner thomasin you could follow him at Graham of tan He is playing for the Alzheimer's Association. And we're

here with Jason Carter as well. You can follow him at Jason Carter Official, and he's playing for the A s p C A well or through two of the four rounds. As we enter round three, which is the weird one, the dubious, it is the lightning round. Round three the lightning round. So today you can choose from either of these headings b l T one of my favorite sandwiches, Bacon, lettuce or tomato. Again, those

headings have nothing to do with the questions nor the answers. It is a tie game, so we'll just go with who was first on my list. Here, we'll go with Jason. You'll start us off, so you could choose either bacon, lettuce or tomato. You're gonna get a question. I'm gonna read it twice. You're gonna have twenty seconds to just say as many answers as possible. You're not writing stuff down during the twenty seconds. It

goes by very fast, so it's better to just free associate Tanner. You'll want to maybe jot some answers down because I'm gonna come to you with a five second buttle as soon as Jason's done, So you might want to jot some things down, So, Jason Carter, name your poison. You want the B, the L, or the T today, I'm going with the T. It's I'm a tomato fan, going with the T. Here we go. I'm gonna yeah, stealing the tea away from double T. I

love it. There's some gamesmanship going, Tara, giving me your full name. It's Tanner Thomason. Yeah, lies, Tanner Ben Thomas Ben. That's right. They couldn't have named with an N in the middle TNT. That would have been so close, right, so close. It was right there. All right, Jason, here is your lightning round question for your category of tomato and the BLT. I need the top nine best selling toys of all time. There's no board games in here, but it's like toys,

so we're talking dolls and things like that. Top nine best selling toys all time. Twenty seconds on the clock and a go, here we go, Pound Puppies, Cabbage Patch Kids, Ferby's, Tickle Me Elmo, game Boy and Nintendo supers connect for Monopoly operation. What else am I missing? Did I say Ferbie Ferbie? And what was the other one? Oh? And the American girl dolls? Stop? You got one? You set a bunch of incredible toys, but you got one and it was cabbage Patch Kids.

Cabbage Patch Kids were on the list for sure, So you got one for sure, Tanner, your five second rebuttal. See if you can steal any answers from Jason right here, five second top nine best selling toys of all time, and go Jah Joe Barbie, he Man, Polly Pockets, Transformers, Stretch Armstrong, Stop you stole one, Barbara Millicent, Roberts Barbie was in the top nine. So let's go over the ones we didn't get to. This was tough because there's so many toys that we grew up with.

Wheels, Rubik's Cube, Lego, Yes, Beanie Baby, of course, Teddy Bears, I guess, just general Yeah, Tomagotchi, which I was surprised as the top ten because I haven't seen one for a minute. POGs is not on the list, and then Star Wars figures were in the top ten as well. Star Wars figure since that has been around for close to fifty years. That was a tough category because a lot of things fill your head. But you's got at least got a point a piece in that one,

Tanner. It's your turn in the barrel. You could choose bacon or lettuce in your lightning round. Hit me with the bacon. Hit me with the bacon. All right. The the l was kind of a movie question, so I'll just go back in the hopper for a different game. So bacon, twenty seconds on the clock. I'll read the question twice. I'll say, go twenty seconds. Give me as many answers, Jason, you might want to jot some answers down because I'm coming straight to you after this.

I need the top nine most populous South American countries. Top nine most populous populations South American countries. Twenty seconds on the clock and a go Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Puerto Rico, Varta, hold on Costa Rica. Cozy email late Cancun. That's the place. Margaritaville is very populous. Everyone knows that you did great. You got four, you got Brazil, you got Argentina, you got Chile, and you got Partaguay, which was number nine. So there's still a few on the lists.

So Jason, your champion. Wait where on the list though, it's it's I think it's ten. I think it's right below Paraguay. That's fantastic. That deserve a splooshe Jason, your chance to steal some answers. You're the top nine most populous South American countries five seconds and Ago, Venezuela, Chile, Colombia. You stole too, You stole too. You got Colombia and Benethuela, Venezuela and Colombia. The ones we didn't get to. Number four

on the list is Peru. Number seven. Really close to Peru is Ecuador, smaller country but a large population. And number eight, I think the one of the two landlocked countries, Bolivia. Bolivia, just like Partaguay was number eight on the list. Yep, we've tabulated the scores and we do have a leader on the leaderboard. Right now we have Jason Carter with eleven and a half and Tanner Thomason takes the lead at thirteen and a half.

It's thirteen and a half to eleven and a half. After three doing the anti single ladies, Dad, it is thirteen and a half to eleven and a half. Tanners in the lead by two points. As we enter our fourth and final round between you two, it is the Theodore Double Duty Radcliffe Round Round four the Double Duty. We call it the double Duty because points are doubled and there are nine questions instead of eight in this round, so

there are eighteen very large points up for grabs today. In the Double Duty. The category is music of the two thousands, Music of the two thousands, so these are all questions from two thousand to two thousand and nine. Ish, Hey, let's go listen. I just I just want to take this moment right now to say, Jay, it has been so nice playing with you. I know you're absolutely about to destroy this category, unlike anything

that's ever been destroyed on you should know ever in the past. It's been wonderful to be here with the three of you, with you guys, but I fully expect for Jason to destroy me right now. The pressure's off. I've been off my game these days. Ted, I don't know, man, you may come, come and clutch it in the end and obliterate a brother. And some of these questions now are nearing you know, twenty years old, so you know their vintage. But yeah, yeah, almost classic.

So it is music of the two thousands and your double clip around. There are nine questions. Here is question number one, Sugar, We're going Down was a smash it in two thousand and six. What bann the or Sugar We're Going Down was a smash it back in two thousand and six? For what band? For question number one, you know Jason was a radio DJ in this era? Oh? Really, Yeah, totally was. I

was totally into white boy rock. That's what we call this band. Well, the rest of the questions are all death metal, so I don't think your DJ stuff is going to really help you out that much. Waited to flay me, Mike, that's all Yeah? Bluegrass, spoken word albums and Michael McDonald trivia? Yeah, Question number two, what song starts with the lyrics? Wow? That was quick. Okay, I know he played as the harmonica. Is there any points for that? Can you

remember? I was like early on. That was like within the first five, six, seven years of American Idol. I believe I won't have a post with him on my Instagram. Yeah. I thought he was a looker too. He was definitely my steeds man. That's why I had a little crush on said person. Yep. For question number three, he was prematurely gray haired. Okay, So, but i'd be prepared for me to come with the heat, to bring the heat. I know. I watched I Love You brother, one of

my favorite people in the world. But it's it's been nice knowing you. Oh my god, I love this. I love this shit talk happening on. You should know better. This is what the people pay to see or here, Yeah, I think that question Jason for you is making up for North Dallas forty so yeah, south and southern Texas South my Southwest rolls at all a great film and music festival. Question number eight, Gwen Stefani teamed up with what three letter artists for the two thousand and one hit let Me blow your mind? No, you know, hold on

Was not her Question number eight, Gwen Stefani teamed up with what three letter artist for the two thousand and one hit let Me Blow Your Mind? For question number eight, and for those of you at home, Tanner got up from his seat and started pacing like a wild man, which was to go for a walk a lightning bolt,

and the lightning bolt just hit him. Okay, holy cow, all right, it could it could all come down to this. This is so close. Okay. Question number nine, the Followell Brothers make up part of this royal Tennessee rock band. Oh the freaking question, I got it. The follow Will Brothers make up part of this royal Tennessee rock band. For question number nine, Okay, Jay, how many of these do you have? Do you have? Nine? Jay? No? I have on nine,

but I have you don't have number nine? Do you? I bet you're missing number nine? All right, pencils down, let's go over these answers for a or I'm ready and find around. It was the double Duty Red Cliff round in Today. It was music of the two thousands that Fun Decade. Question one of nine was Sugar Were Going Down? Was a smash hit in two thousand and six for what band? Jason from one of my favorite

bands ever, fall Out Boy, Pete Wentz, Patrick Stump. It's from the album Under the Cork Tree, Under the Cork Screw Tree five incredible. I guess you were a DJ Tanner? What did you get for number one? Yes, one of my favorite pops, often called the be to the true lovers. This will also be Fallout a Boy, Oh my god, two nerds, two total nerds on the show, it is fall Out Boy for number one, two points apiece. The scores kind of stay the same

question number two? What song starts with the lyrics? Yeah, I'm out at Brooklyn Now I'm down in Tribecker right next to the Neiro. But I'll be hood forever. Tanner? What did you put for number two? Okay, this is don't make this is I can have this wrong. I believe the title of the song is New York, New York. Jason, what did you put for number two? This would be by mister Sean Carter featuring Alicia Keys, New York State of Mind Empire State of Mind. Sorry,

from a really cool album I can't remember the name. It's called Empire state of Mind. And actually Alicia Keys did an a cappella version of it for the Sex and the City movie. Oh my god, we're getting so much information. Yeah, New York. State of Mind is a great tune by Billy Joel bay Off one of his albums, but it is Empire state of Mind. After two questions, we have a tie ball game with seven questions leads. Question number three, what gray haired American idol winner had the hit

song do I Make You Proud? Jason? I think that would be Taylor Hicks Taylor Hicks. Tanner, did you comp did Chevin come up to you with the answer? What did you come up with? No? I had Travis Hanks, but that's the guy I went to high school with, so that couldn't be right. Very close. Travis Hanks is close, but it was part of the Soul Patrol. I think they kept shouting every time he sang Soul Patrol. It was Taylor Hicks. Taylor Hicks for number three.

Question number four, megastar had the hit song Disturbia during the decade? Tanner, Oh, this would be Rihanna, Rihanna, Rianna. Jason. Would you put for number four. I would also say it's Robin Rihanna Finty from the album Good Girl on batter Reloaded. God, Holy, this will be I did not know this. I did not know folks at home that he was a radio DJA during this time. Our crack research staff really blew it on this one, but I had to make up for North Dallas forty,

so I'm glad you both nailed Rihanna for question number four. Question number five, whose mom did Fountains of Wayne sing? Has Got It going on? Jason, Stacy's Stacy's Tanner? What did you put? Oh, Stacy's mom has got it going on? Stacy's mom is correct? For number five? Question number six, what month did Green Day want to be woken at the end of back in two thousand and five? Tanner? for number Sixtembre? Is correct? September and September two more points apiece. Question number seven, what group had their biggest hit with a cover of Michael Jackson's Smooth Criminal? Jason? What did you get for seven? I put? Okay, guys, I'm so wish to go, Come on, come on, come on, three O three, three oh three, and Tanner, do you agree with that? You know in the early two thousands there

was a punk rock trio that was all over the radio waves. They were known They had a you could call them by their acronym AAR otherwise known as alien Ant Farm, alien Ant Farm or three oh three. The correct answer is out of this world. It is alien Ant Farm with that kind of one hit, wonder their cover of Michael Jackson's Smooth Criminal. For question number

seven, it was alien Ant Farm. Question number eight, Gwen Stefani teamed up with what three letter artists for the two thousand and one hit let Me Blow your Mind? Tanner, I don't remember this snap back, flap back, ev E, Lee, eve E or Eve Jason? What did you put for number eight? Because I'm so extra Yes, I concur that. Gwen Stefani teamed up with Jaha Jeffers born November fifth, nineteen seventy nine, also part of the Rough Riders Crew first album nineteen ninety nine. But yes,

it would be eb and she could have the paw prints. She did it and she became a top show host. There we go crazy. It is Eve Eve. It is Eve that teamed up with Gwen Stefani for let Me Blow Your Mind. For questions go Jay eight, Here we go, Jay, this is gen number nine. It all comes down to this the follow Will brothers make up part of this royal Tennessee rock band? Jason Carter? Did you come up with something for number nine? I put Florida Georgia,

Lin, Florida Georgia. You're about a decade early. I think Tanner. Did you come up with an answer for number nine? I believe this would be the group that you know their their biggest hit came into like a two thousand and something or another with their song Sex on Fire. This would be the Kings of Leon, Kings of Leon. The correct answer the follow Will brothers makeup Kings of Leon? For question I know what Kings of Leon saw? I mean, somebody's too bad? That wasn't the question. I

know, I know, I know it's okay. That's why I still lost. All right, folks, we are tallying up our scores for a very fun double duty right cliff round. It was music of the two thousands. It all comes down to this. Here we go. Final scores. Jason Carter with an impressive twenty three and a half points, Tanner Thomason with twenty seven and a half points. Double t you are, in fact the smartest person in the world for one week. Holy shit, what a game.

So again our champ. You can follow him on social media at Graham of tan We're happy to make a donation in his name to the Alzheimer's Association. We're happy to make a donation in Jc's name to the ASPCA and check him out on Inside. So follow Jens. It's been so great to have

you here. But the game is not over. It is time for the final throwdown, the final throwdown, and that's where Annie's gonna join us kind of do our version of Final Jeopardy. It's just a one off question. We'll have Tanner take a guess at it first. Jason, you can throw your ideas in there. I'll throw in my two cents, and then we're all going to learn a little something something before we leave. So Annie, if you are at the ready post the final throat on question I'll read it

to the world and then we'll discuss. So, which two countries have flags planted on the moon? Which two countries have flags that have been planted on the moon? Interesting question, Tanner, Does anything come up straight away? Well, we know that the United States has this flag planted on the moon. What's interesting is I don't think any other country has ever put a person on the Moon. No, wait, so we have the United States has a flag on the moon. M hm. And then I don't know.

Yeah, there's some other space programs around the world. Yeah, there's several. There's several good space programs, but like, actually landing on the Moon is rare. Yeah, Jason, you got any ideas? I mean, the go to is always in Russia. Russia is a great guess. Yeah. I think the other space programs that have had missions towards the Moon are like India and China as well, China, Russia, and US. There's a part of me that thinks it's China. I know that they are currently

on the Moon. They're currently on the dark side, I believe. So we got possibly China, Russia, the United States. Yeah, I think India, maybe Japan have other space things flying around tons of satellites in orbit, But which two countries have flags planted on the moon. So I think we're all in agreement that the US has one. And what are you going with? You? Are you going with China? I'm gonna go with China. I'm not sure that Russia's actually landed on the moon. All right,

Jason, are you going with Russia? I'm going with Russia? All right, I will go with I'll just I'll just go with India just for the hell of it. So we have India, Russia, and China. So I think we have a good chance besides the United States. So we all think it's US. And then which is that second country? So Annie, without further ado, reveal our answer, and let's learn a little something something about this answer. Hey, there, it is United States and China.

It is China. So the first flag planet took place on the American Apollo eleven mission. Of course, in nineteen sixty nine. There are six American flags on the moon. Jesus America, take it easy. China became the second country to place a flag. Nearly fifty years later, four countries have achieved soft landings on the Moon. India. That's why I think that was

in my brain. India recently landed near the Moon's south pole, but it is in fact the United States and China that have flags on our one satellite, the Moon Fellas. I love you. It was so awesome to have you on the show. Continued success and here's to one hell of a twenty twenty four. Oh thanks, Mike, Thank you for having us, Any, thanks for having us. Ted.
