And we're live. Good to have you here. We've got a lot going on today. I am Trish Regan. This is the Trish Regan Show. And we're talking about a serious, serious breakdown, if you would, ladies and gentlemen, in the Fed versus state. power issue. We're going to dig into that. A local official was just arrested, I should point out, in the city of New York. We're going to get to all of these headlines as they're coming, and Letitia's effectively fanning the flames of this fire, if you would.
the fire. Letitia James. Okay. So she's kind of asking for it here. And believe me, Trump is delivering all this as we get news. What do you know? YouTube is number one. Yeah, number one destination for news and information. We knew this was coming, right? We knew. I knew. You knew. Well, maybe I didn't really know. But once I got over here, once I started, I knew. Anyway, it's bad news for ABC. It's bad news for MSNBC. The fired ABC News reporter is speaking out, saying I...
I think sort of what we already knew, but he's basically sticking it to Disney, if you would, as YouTube, as I said, takes over as the number one destination. Oh, and that Walmart boycott, that's getting real. Welcome to the program, everyone. So good to have you all. All here today as Letitia James runs once again some serious risks. And I'll tell you they're serious risks because she herself is facing massive issues with the DOJ. Thanks to that mortgage fraud. An update on that for you.
Welcome to the show. Letitia James losing all kinds of key support. Letitia James looking at an indictment, the grand jury subpoenas, they're flying. And what is she doing? But fanning the flames of Donald Trump.
So she's trying to make things more difficult for him. But I hate to tell her, you know what? The feds are going to win this thing all day long. The reason they're going to win and the reason she's not a very good lawyer, frankly, is because of, well, this little thing called the Constitution.
You know, that little thing that you're supposed to have studied, if you would, one of the teacher James in law school, that law school that you went to really not making anyone proud. Now she's basically going after the locals. This is a breaking story coming to us courtesy of the New York Post that had the. exclusive on this, Oswega, New York. Okay. The local officials there are like, whoa, because apparently Letitia does not want them engaging.
With federal law enforcement engaging with ICE in any way, shape, or matter, if they do, oh, they're suddenly in trouble? I mean, what kind of breakdown is this? Again, they can't hit that subpoena fast enough for one Letitia James. The DOJ, I'm telling you, cannot move fast enough. Here we go. Here's the story. New York Attorney General Letitia James probing local cops for misconduct for working with Trump administration and with ICE.
Excuse me? Excuse me? I mean, suddenly, what kind of twisted world do we live in? One in which Tish James is now going after local law enforcement because they're daring to work with the feds? Because they're daring to enforce the law of the land? Are you kidding me? I mean, I don't get it.
I don't get it, but here is the New York Post's story. Again, the headline, as we can confirm at this hour, New York Attorney General Letitia James probing local cops for misconduct for working with the Trump administration. So this is what's going to land her in a whole bunch of trouble. Okay, guys? She's basically saying, how dare you? This is a letter from the office of Letitia James asking the Oswego County Sheriff for details over any kind of cooperation that his office might be giving.
concerning the enforcement of federal immigration law. Okay. Because for some reason in Letitia's warped mind, one, she's welcome to lie on a mortgage application while one, Donald Trump can't. And two, The law enforcement in the state of New York is not supposed to work with the federal government in terms of helping in any kind of discovery of illegal migrants that are also criminals. Because that...
is the craziness we have come to, all right? All communications between or among any member of the Sheriff's Office and any member of Homeland Security or its sub-agencies, including CBP and ICE at traffic stops is also requested. does not want them giving Donald Trump and his team squat. But let me tell you, this is what's going to take her down too.
Okay, this is what's going to take her down. This is what Gavin Newsom just ran into out in California, where even the Ninth Circuit, and you know how liberal the Ninth Circuit is, had to say, you know what, we're going to allow this to stay. We're going to allow for the feds to come in and federalize.
the National Guard, because you people clearly cannot get the job done. Kathy Hochul has a law in the books that restricts law enforcement from aiding in investigating, arresting, or deporting illegal migrants. So now, Letitia's trying to enforce that. And in doing so, you know what's happening, ladies and gentlemen.
She's setting up an entire war, a civil war between the state and the federal government, between New York and Donald Trump. And you know who's going to win that war all day long? I'm just going to give you a little preview.
It's going to be the federal government. You know why it's going to be the federal government? Because of this little thing called the Constitution. And we can go through all the powers, the Supremacy Clause. We can go through the Commerce Clause. We can go through it all, the Naturalization Clause. Guess what?
He's got the power, Tishy baby. You don't. Which is why she's flipping out and freaking out. We saw the latest sound, right? She sounds a little stressed, a little over the edge, right? And you want me to sit... in my seat and stand idly by and allow this craziness to happen you can come after me if you want but you elected me to stand up
You elected me to use the law. You elected me to go to court. You elected me to continue to challenge this administration. You elected me to stand up for the least of God's children. you fighting on and i will fight on i'm sorry what what does one say to that Fight, fight, fight, fight. I mean, this woman is looking for something. She wants to create a fight. She does not want to actually help the federal government enforce the law.
And you know what? The law is the law. I do recall a time, do you not? When the law was the law, heck, even Obama, he had enforced the law. He was deporting, what, some thousand migrants a day? Back in the day when actually the law was the law. Kind of makes you feel a little nostalgic now, doesn't it? Here's Barack Obama teaching Letitia James a thing or two.
Last time we spoke, you said that you weren't king, you were president. There are only certain things you could do, you know, laterally. As time goes on, a thousand deportations on average a day. People are wondering, and our Twitter feeds and Facebook feeds, that's the question everybody asks. won't you at least consider unilaterally freezing deportations for the parents of deferred action kids? Here's the problem that I have, Jose, and I've said this consistently.
My job in the executive branch is supposed to be to carry out the laws that are passed. Congress has said, here's the law when it comes to those who are undocumented, and they allocate a whole bunch of money for enforcement. And what I have been able to do is to make a legal argument that I think is absolutely right, which is that given the resources we have, we can't.
do everything that Congress has asked us to do. What we can do is then carve out the DREAM Act folks saying young people who have basically grown up here are... Americans that we should welcome. We're not going to have them operate under a cloud, under a shadow. But if we start broadening that, then essentially I would be ignoring the law in a way that...
I think would be very difficult to defend legally. So that's not an option. And I do. It's not an option. In other words, he couldn't defend it legally, but somehow fast forward a few years. And suddenly Letitia James is going after any cop who dares, who dares to actually cooperate with local, forgive me, federal law enforcement. So this is how you know she's going down.
This is how you know she's going out with a bang, shall we say. Hostile takeover. Trump's new sweeping directive to ICE sends liberal cities quaking. This was the headline in Daily Mail. And believe me, they're getting heated, okay? And it's... not just Letitia James, because they all want their moment in the sun, right? All these people out there running around trying to be the next mayor of New York. You've got one candidate who's now getting himself arrested. Brad Landers!
New York City mayoral candidate. I bet you never heard of him before. Well, suddenly he's a big name because he got to get arrested by ICE because he said, hey, you know, do you have your warrant, etc.? And ICE said, get out of our way because, hey, yeah, we do have our warrant. We wouldn't be arresting the guy if we didn't have the warrant. And you're now...
impeding law enforcement. You are in the way of us doing our jobs. And when you get in the way of us doing our jobs, guess what? It starts to get a little bit dangerous and we don't really want that. And so the mayoral candidate, he's actually the city...
He's in charge of the city's budget. So, you know, he can't add because we're talking about New York City here and they get tons of money and yet somehow nobody can do any addition or subtraction because, you know, the taxes keep going up and they keep coming out in the red. So here is Mr. Brad Landers getting arrested. I want to show you by federal law enforcement here just moments ago in the great, was great. Could be great again. City of New York. Watch.
You don't have the authority to arrest U.S. citizens asking for a judicial warrant. We go too. Sorry. Go away. I'm safe. Where are you taking him? Hi, I'm the comptroller's press secretary. Where are you taking the comptroller of New York? The city of New York. Okay, so they're asking where are you taking him again? Federal authorities having just arrested him. I believe this video was posted by his wife. There is no, you know.
fisticuffs, so to speak, as we saw with Padilla the other day. But you can see there they've got him. And the idea was that he would be... arrested because he was impeding law enforcement and you know what you can't actually impede law enforcement when they're trying to do their jobs didn't we just go through this i mean honestly i feel like it's deja vu because As I recall, we had to watch one...
La Monica MacGyver out in New Jersey. You remember, right? La Monica MacGyver, who got in all that trouble out in New Jersey and now is facing 17 years. 17 years in federal prison because she took it upon herself. to actually be pushing the ICE agents. In this particular case, you don't see Lander doing that. So maybe he won't get 17 years, but you can exactly get in the way.
of these federal officials doing their job, even if Letitia James thinks she can, okay? The law's the law, dare I say. Remember, Letitia? Forgive me. LaMonica. Sorry. One's in red, and they are of similar size. I don't think Letitia would do this, but, you know, never say never. Fortunately, Brad did not find himself actually physically pushing up against federal agents. but she sure did. Unbelievable.
Okay, so that's unbelievable. And now she's looking at what, 17 years for violating Title 18, U.S. Code Section 111A1 for assaulting, impeding, and interfering with law enforcement. So one would have to think they're going to get Brad Lander.
city controller of New York, once again, on violating Title 18. Now, from what we can see, and again, we can go back to the video, there was no kind of assault. It was a peaceful... transaction if you would but he kept saying hey hey you know how do you guys have a warrant to do this etc maybe he's trying to put
one AOC's recommendations and actions into words. So he finds himself now on the receiving end of the federal government making the decision that they are going to take him in. Again, the city controller. of New York in a rather unpleasant scene after demanding to see a judicial warrant for a man being arrested by immigration agents. He kept his hand. You'll notice clutching. the detainee's shoulder. And so this is once again, part of why he was in the way. All right. So.
This is, so to speak, the federal showdown that some people like Letitia James have so desired. And you know what? It's coming to a head. But as I've told you before. She does not have a prayer in that case because, again, thank you, Justin, for the generosity. Again, you've got somebody who is serving in direct defiance of the federal law. Because there is this thing called the Constitution, which apparently one Letitia James never studied.
showing that, you know, naturalization clause, Article 1, Section 8, Clause 4, remember this one, the Congress shall have the power to establish a uniform rule of naturalization. Okay, so if you have the power as Congress to establish a uniform rule of naturalization and the law is such,
that it doesn't allow for people to be illegally here in the country, and it does allow for their arrest if they are here illegally in the country, and you have law enforcement going out and making those arrests, then I'm sorry, what exactly is this... comptroller actually doing other than impeding law enforcement. And that is why we find ourselves in a situation where he
is getting charged. I believe he'll be charged. We'll see what comes forward on all of this. But again, this didn't used to be hard back in the old days, right? We saw Obama. We saw Kristi Noem this week sounding a lot like Obama because she made the point. hey, you know what? I'm here. I'm here to enforce the law of the land. And if you don't like the law of the land, then it's your job to go change these laws because Naturalization Clause Article 1 Section 8 Clause 4 says...
The Congress will have the power to establish a uniform rule of law, and it gives Congress the authority over citizenship, ladies and gentlemen, which is why no matter what they say, no matter how much the AOCs of the world carry on, No matter how much they threaten, they don't have a leg to stand on from a legal perspective.
Anyone's breaking the law in this situation. It's not members of Congress. It's the Department of Homeland Security. It's people like Tom Homan and Secretary Kristi Noem. You lay a finger on them, we are going to have a problem. No, actually, I think you have a problem. I think you have a problem because I do believe...
In the case of La Monica, anyway, she was laying a finger on, well, more than a finger, maybe a stomach, on the ICE agents, all right? And then in the case of Mr. Lander here, who's trying to get his moment of fame because he wants to run for mayor of New York, he's actually...
finding himself up a creek without a paddle because, again, of that little darn thing called the Constitution of the United States of America. And so where did they get their power, their federal power over immigration? I mean, come on, if there's one single thing that...
federal government can do. And believe me, I love giving lots of power. Justin, thank you so much again for the generosity. I love giving all the power in the world, if you would, to the states, because I believe in small government. Hey, I grew up in live free or die in New Hampshire, right? You know, we had a very small government. We actually balanced our budget. You know, imagine with no income tax and not even any sales tax.
Amazing how that can happen, right? But anyway, you want a small government, but you also need to have the power to the federal government in cases when they actually need it for things like immigration, because you know what? It's a national security threat. You know what else?
It's an economic threat. And we've been through it before, Commerce Clause, Article 1, Section 8, Clause 3. Memorize this. The Congress will have the power to regulate commerce with foreign nations. And guess what? Immigration would count as something that's affecting foreign nations. So therefore...
it counts as yet another reason why the Congress has all the power over this one. And if the executive branch is there to back up the Congress and enforce the law, then why do you have people like the Comptroller of New York City? Why do you have people like Letitia James? AG of New York City getting in the way of that Article 1, Section 8, Clause 18, Necessary and Proper Clause. Very important.
This gives the federal government the supremacy to make all laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into execution the foregoing powers it allows for Congress. to pass immigration laws as needed, and to enforce those enumerated powers like naturalization, like the Commerce Clause. I'm telling you.
Letitia James does not stand a chance here. But then again, Letitia James is not exactly the brightest bulb in the room, now is she? Letitia James... is the one who somehow thought she would go after one Donald Trump for mortgage fraud, when in fact, it's something that she herself...
was guilty of doing it. I love the comments that she made. When powerful people cheat to get better loans, it comes at the expense of honest and hardworking people. Everyday Americans cannot lie to a bank and get a mortgage to buy a home. And if they did, our government would throw the book at them. them. There simply cannot be different rules for different people. Now Donald Trump is...
Finally, facing accountability for his lying, cheating, and staggering fraud, she said, because no matter how big, rich, or powerful you think you are, no one is above the law, including you, tissue baby, because guess what William Pulte has discovered on you? And this is no joke. FHA director saying we got mortgage fraud. Listen to his allegation.
Recommended that the DOJ investigate New York Attorney General Letitia James over alleged mortgage fraud. The AG, Letitia James, has responded. We don't have the video, but here's the quote. This investigation. into me is nothing more than retribution. It's baseless. It has to do with the fact that on a power of attorney, I mistakenly indicated that I was a state of Virginia resident.
And prior to that, I indicated to the mortgage broker that, in fact, in bold cap letters that I am not a resident of Virginia and never will be. They just took the power of attorney and they're using that as a basis for enforcement of their investigation. Bill, do you know why she said she was a resident of Virginia on the power of attorney, if in fact she wasn't?
Well, I know that we are mortgage experts and we only refer things that we think are mortgage fraud and we stand 100 percent behind the letter. I'll let the letter speak for itself. I do know and I have seen some reports from that subject.
from that subject's criminal defense lawyer saying certain things i'll leave it to the doj to correct various things but again when we see mortgage fraud we are going to report it when we see mortgage fraud we are going to prosecute it within the confines of our duties and in other words we see mortgage fraud in other words
If it looks like a duck, it walks like a duck, it talks like a duck, it's kind of a duck. Scott Cullen, thank you so much for your generosity. He says we're dealing with an unprecedented level of dumbness in this country. Yeah, you know, well, when you get people like Letitia James, who somehow think they're going to...
go after the former president of the United States who was then running or expected to run for the presidency again and fine him to the tune of a half a billion dollars. I mean, think about that. This is a really crazy amount of money, right? And then they're going to go after him and they don't even have the ducks in a row, speaking of ducks, enough to know what their own.
skeletons in the closet might be, then yeah, you get a little bit of a problem. FHA loans involve federal funds and oversight. This is why it's so much worse. Okay. So subpoenas are going out. This is why it's so much worse for Letitia because you actually have our taxpayer money.
that's involved. You're talking about federal dollars. She's willing to risk our federal dollars. At least Donald Trump was only willing to risk Deutsche Banks. I mean, you got it. I mean, there's something for that, right? So in the case of Deutsche Bank.
And Donald Trump, it was up to Deutsche Bank to actually figure out what's what, right? Deutsche Bank was taking on the risk itself as a bank. And by the way, there was no victim. They got paid back in full. They said they'd do the deal again, everybody. made money, everybody's happy, but in the case of Leticia, guess what? If she didn't pay the mortgage, well, that would be actually on the taxpayer dime.
It wouldn't be on Deutsche Bank. It would be on federal taxpayers because she was getting a special federal loan. And she applied for this loan saying that this was going to be her main principal residence. I mean, I'm sorry, you're a lawyer. Don't blame your lawyer and the power of attorney. This is the house she's getting. You ain't going to blame somebody else. Oh, this is just nothing but a little teeny problem, just a mix-up. You heard what Bill Pulte said. He said, yeah, we've heard.
And that's not actually what we think it is. They believe it to be at the FHA. mortgage fraud. He also made the point of saying his position was not a political one. They're just calling it like they see it. So there was that little case. There was also the Brownstone in Brooklyn that you guys know about, right? Where she's claiming that it was
four levels instead of five levels, because again, she was able to get a certain sweetener, if you would, from the government. Oh, how do you like this? All this living off the government, right? Oh, and then there's this little beauty, 1983, Robert James and Letitia James, his wife, suddenly she's marrying her dad.
to get a break on this deal, this little number of a house. I'm telling you, these things, they add up to problems. Now I want to point out, these are all allegations. Okay. So they got to prove it in court, but these grand jury subpoenas are going out as we speak. And if you listen to. one Stephen Miller, she is up a creek without a paddle.
Leticia James says the allegations against her are nothing more than a revenge tour by the Trump administration. What's your response? My response is that Leticia James is one of the most corrupt, shameless individuals ever to hold public office. She's guilty not only of those crimes, but of countless more crimes by using and abusing her public office to try to persecute an innocent man, depriving him of his rights, engaging in a conspiracy to obstruct our election.
and to overthrow our democratic processes and procedures she is guilty of multiple significant serial criminal violations by the way this is the original document This is unbelievable. I mean, I look at this and I say, I hereby declare that I intend to occupy the property as my principal residence. I mean, why would you sign on to that? I get it. She's like, no, no, no. It's just a clerical thing. Just a clerical thing.
I'm not so sure about that. The president is not so sure about that. Not that it matters. The DOJ is not so sure about that. The grand jury is not so sure about that. Hence the... grand jury subpoenas going out as we speak. And Stephen Miller's not so sure about that. And importantly, Bill Pulte from the FHA is not so sure about that. Oh, guess what else? Voters are not so sure about that because as all of this information sinks in, Letitia James is sinking in the polls. So she may...
play in New York city. I was going to say play in Peoria, but we're not talking about Peoria here. We're talking about New York city. So she may play a little bit in Manhattan. I'll give her that because you get a bunch of people there that hate Trump so much. They're suffering from massive TDS that she may ask. actually have a leg to stand on there, but you go out into the rest of New York.
And look at that. She's struggling. I mean, they keep talking about Chuck Schumer struggling, but it's Letitia, baby, that's really struggling. I mean, look at the favorable versus the unfavorable. Look at those that don't know. So they're either not saying or they don't know. see 33 and 27% there. So she's basically looking at 60, 40, 60 being in the negative category. And you have this coming just as well. The media starts to turn on her. The media is getting sick of her because
She wants 10 million bucks in a slush fund that the Democrats set aside for her in order to cover her legal bills. A Siena College Research Institute poll found that while James has some favorable poll numbers, more so than Hochul, forgive me, Kathy. although I have a feeling that's going to change soon. Kathy Hochul's in the, uh,
And you know what is, well, her 40, 33% favorable, unforgivable split is worse than anybody would expect for a Democrat attorney general of New York. Yeah, well, part of it's because of her views on immigration. I mean, think about what we just saw there.
In the city of New York, Brad Lander, Comptroller, getting arrested by federal agents because he's trying to impede law enforcement. Think of how we began this show. As I told you, what Letitia's latest and greatest thing that she's got up her sleeve is to go after any. cops that dared to cooperate with federal law enforcement.
You're like, whoa, what's going on? I mean, especially when you get 79% of voters in New York state backing deported immigrants convicted of a crime or 39% backing deported immigrants with no criminal record. I mean, it tells me you got some people there in the state of New York. They're not exactly, you know.
All for the immigration thing, 59% say they do not want taxpayers paying for migrants' medical care. I mean, these are big numbers, okay, guys? These are big numbers. And so when Letitia comes out and says, oh, I'm going to go and I'm going to arrest or I'm going to demand the names of or...
try to stand in the way of federal law enforcement doing their job. And I want all the names of the cops and anybody who's cooperating with them. I don't think that plays in the state of New York. And in some ways it may not even play. in the city of New York anymore. And so this is why, of course, you're seeing some of those poll numbers start to sink. And, you know, she's got other challenges and problems. Cuomo apparently is someone that she's getting kind of nervous about who may be...
the next mayor of New York. We'll see. You know, the guy who is a pretty, well, I think he's a self-defined socialist, right? And a Palestinian protester. That guy who... you know, was up screaming all kinds of things at Tom Hohen, really unpleasant video that we've seen together.
He's the one that AOC is backing. He's the one that now Bernie Sanders is backing. Apparently, Letitia likes him too. ABC, anybody but Cuomo and her book because, well, they have a history. It kind of almost makes me... which you know I don't, right? So that tells you something. Scott Cullen, again, thank you for the generosity. Much appreciated. Trishy baby takes on Tishy baby. You know it. You know it. Anyway, this is just...
Unbelievable to me, the whole thing. And I suspect she's going to be out as attorney general for a variety of reasons. I mean, she should actually be in jail. Right? Because if they prove out these allegations, I think she should be in jail just because she was willing.
to corrupt her power. And it's something that came up in the appellate court as they make the decision there on what to do about the $500 million fine. One of the things the judges kept saying over and over again was, how is it that attorney generals like Letitia James could possibly see an expansion of their... power to the private sector in this way. I mean, this kind of gives a lot of rope if you would.
to one attorney general, which is pretty darn scary. It's why Elise Stefanik is saying, hey, New York Bar Association, pay attention to this. It's why the legal group that used to be run by Stephen Miller, America First, is saying, hey, hey. New York State Bar Association. Would you pay attention to this? I mean, would you pay attention, one, because apparently she doesn't know how to fill out a mortgage application. She's either dumb.
or corrupt. Take your pick. I don't think either one looked very good, all right? So she either lets somebody, another lawyer, fill it all out for her. And then just looks the other way when there are major glaring errors, like I'm going to live here full time while I'm attorney general of New York, or she's really and truly corrupt. I suspect it's probably a combo deal.
Right? Probably a combo deal. Anyway, her former colleagues can't stand her either. A lot of information lately saying how much they... saw her as the kind that would abuse her power, I don't think any of that surprises us. None of that surprises us at all. But I would say this, you know what, they can't get her indictment.
Fast enough. The grand jury's issuing the subpoena. She's going to be in court. I guess now she's going to see how it feels to be on the other side. I should point out it comes with a 30-year penalty. 30 years in prison, by the way. 18 U.S.C., 10-14. False statements to obtain a federally insured loan. 18 U.S.E. 1001. False statements to the government. That is what Letitia James is up against. As she gets madder and madder and madder at all the cops.
For daring to work with the Trump administration or with ICE. And this is once again why Donald Trump is saying I've had it. You know what? I'm done with y'all. Guess what? I am President of the United States. Congress. And the executive branch are working aggressively over time to enforce the federal law of the land. So if you don't agree with it, change the law. In the meantime, we will enforce the law. That's what I was elected to do.
Tishy baby. Sorry. Right? Sorry. Hey, guys, did you see that YouTube is like totally killing mainstream media? Yeah. It's one of the great things about being over here. I mean, I've kind of noticed it. We just started doing this show. I want to say maybe a couple of years ago and then it became more regular, maybe about a year and a half ago. And we've been all the meeting here live every single day.
really terrific. I am thrilled to announce, you know, who knows how long this will last because they come out with a new podcast list every week, but we are still, ladies and gentlemen, on the... Top 100. Top 100. Not bad, right? Top 100 podcasts in America. I kind of like the sound of that. I bet you do too. Thank you for all you've done to help get us there. But what's amazing to me is the news is now official. Guess what?
What? Yeah. YouTube has taken over so much from mainstream media. It seems that people want their news in different places. It seems. It seems like the days of NBC. The New York Times, ABC, MSNBC. They're kind of over. They're kind of over because YouTube has taken over the spot. So here's an interesting story. Actually, this is on NBC, but we're reporting it here on YouTube. Streaming.
overtakes cable and broadcast as the most watched form of television. Okay, so Netflix historically, just in the last couple of years, has been doing really well, but now all of a sudden... Guess what? Move over Netflix. YouTube took that spot. So for the last four straight months, which is fascinating because I've seen this huge surge just in the last four months. It's almost like everybody just started coming over here. Y'all started cutting the cord, right? I cut the cord.
Maybe about like, I want to say like seven months ago, maybe nine months ago. I don't know. Time flies when you're having fun, right? So it was a while ago. I saved a ton of money. My husband's like, oh my gosh, well, you know, we have a few too many TVs, shall I say, with too many cable boxes in the house, given my profession anyway. There's like a TV with news everywhere, right? So...
We don't have any of those cable boxes anymore. They're all gone. We've saved a lot of money. It's been great. We're thrilled over here on the Shush Regan Show because we are one of the top. 100 podcasts. And I love it. It's great. And go YouTube, right? Go YouTube all day long. I'll tell you this, a fired ABC news reporter.
is just speaking out and he's kind of echoing a little bit of what I said the problem is it's like why are you telling us now like why were you trying to stand up there and pretend you were something else it's a little bit of a headache for Disney because he's exposing if you would Disney and ABC for all it is and all the, you know, the...
pretending of being somehow unbiased. Remember at The View when Sonny Houston was like, oh, well, you know, we're ABC News and that was Joy Behar. They're like, why does anybody listen to Joe Rogan? Who's Joe Rogan?
Who is this guy? Like, we've never heard of him. Of course you haven't because you're living under your tunnel, right? And they think he believes in dragons. And now Joe has like a Joe believes in dragons t-shirt that's like selling like hotcakes. It's kind of funny. Anyway, they were like, oh. How dare he? I mean, we're ABC News. We got the legal notes. We got this, that, and the other. We're so...
unbiased. And we're all like, really? Like, do you guys hear yourselves? Well, here's one of those reporters from 1ABC News proving that, you know what, they're not that unbiased. In fact, there's a ton of bias. Every single one of them has it. They just try and pretend otherwise, right? My own feeling is you don't sacrifice your citizenship as a journalist, and your job is not to be objective.
There is no Mount Olympus of objectivity where a Mandarin class of wise people have no feelings about their society. We're all in this together. What you have to be is fair and accurate. And I would refer to the interview with the president that I did or a lot of my work. And I would also say that this, while very hot, is an observation, a description that is accurate and true.
Really? You thought that interview you did with the president was really accurate and true? What about this one? Do you think this was accurate, true, when you talked about not having brains but files? I mean, that seems to me to be not just a description. But something that is actually tremendously subjective and therefore can't actually be accurate. Well, I mean, just like, you know, physically is not accurate. Mr. Terry.
There's another way some people like to pronounce it. But anyway, he said this horrible thing about Stephen Miller, and it was really inexcusable. I'm not even going to read the whole thing because, you know, you can see it on X, but it's just gross. And it was so bad. that the vice president actually picked it up. And this is what lost the guy his job, right? A couple weeks ago, you had this news that Terry Moran posted a...
total vile smear on one Stephen Miller. And it was so not accurate. And it was so objective and so opinionated and so wild that, yeah, ABC actually said, we got to fire the guy over it. They came out and said, at ABC News. We hold all our reporters to the highest standards of objectivity, fairness, and professionalism. He's trying to say, really, there is no objectivity. Well, you know who knew that? One Donald Trump, remember? In that...
Accurate interview. Do you think the reputation of the United States has gone down under your presidency? No, I think it's gone way up, and I think we're a respected country again. We were left at all over the world. We had a president that couldn't walk up a flight of stairs, couldn't walk down a flight of stairs, couldn't walk across the stage without falling. We had a president that was grossly incompetent. You knew it, I knew it, and everybody knew it.
But you guys didn't want to write it because you're fake news. All right. Thank you. By the way, ABC is one of the worst. I have to be honest with you. Thank you. Well, that was accurate. I mean, they just had this whole go around, right? Where Donald Trump basically humiliated the guy. I mean, so maybe, you know, he had an ax to grind. I don't know.
His opinion on Stephen Miller was clearly an opinion. And for him to sit there and say like there's any accuracy or whatever in it, I'm sorry. He was off the rails. I don't know. Maybe he had a few too many pops. It was a Saturday night. No excuse for it. Donald Trump speaking to you.
one terry moran just a couple days earlier said this hey they're giving you the big break of a lifetime you know you're doing the interview i picked you because frankly i never heard of you but that's okay i picked you terry But you're not being very nice. He had MS-13 tattoos. We'll agree to disagree. I want to move on to something else. Terry. Terry. Come on, Terry. Terry, Terry, Terry, Terry, Terry. That was great, right? So anyway, now he's out. But why isn't, I don't know, like...
Joy out, or whoopee out, or sunny out. Like, why is this the guy that's out? Why are they like trying to hold him? Maybe because he's part of our news division. They're kind of still our news division, but maybe we'll classify them more in the sense of entertainment. So we're going to let them get to live another day. But in the case of this guy...
He really is out. He's like hanging up a shingle. And you know what? I'm not going to say this is wrong because actually I'm a big believer that if you can't sort of stick to the script and play... both sides fairly as a network news journalist, then you really don't belong as a network news journalist, right? You just don't. And you shouldn't. And at least now he's telling us what he really thinks.
Hello, everyone. I'm Terry Moran. And for almost 28 years, I was a reporter and anchor for ABC News. And as you may have heard... I'm not there anymore. I'm here with you on Substack, this amazing space, and I can't wait to get at it, to get at the important work that we all have to do. Yeah, no, no, no, okay. You do your little important work. We'll see if anybody actually listens. But I would just say this. It's important that people be able to speak.
their minds. And if you're going to be at one of these networks, I mean, I don't even know why they're there anymore because, you know, you can go around the internet and you can go around YouTube and you can hear. all kinds of different viewpoints. And I actually think that's far more interesting than hearing only one particular side. Remember when Tucker Carlson got in all that trouble?
with all the liberal media outlets, and Clinton called him basically a voice for our enemies, etc., when he decided he was going to interview one Vladimir Putin. And my thought on that was, you know what, great, because...
We get to hear more from Putin and whether or not it's disinformation, misinformation. Isn't that my decision to actually decide? Me as an individual. So if you're over here, you don't have to agree with what I'm saying. You could say she's full of you-know-what and leave, but at least you're... actually hearing it one of the reasons I think it's actually very important and you know I do
quite a job of inspiring you guys. You're like, wait, do we really have to hear that MSNBC person again? And I say yes, because you need to hear all sides. It's critical. You want to be able to discern what everybody out there is saying, and we shouldn't shut anyone. one off because the way to better understand and articulate our own positions is to hear the dissonance and to hear what's going on on the other side. So great. He gets to go do his own thing. He never should have been an ABC News.
though, really to begin with, unless ABC News just wanted to tell us it was ABC News and Opinion. Right? Because that's what it is. It's ABC News. An opinion. Lots of opinion. Whether it be from their morning show, whether it be from their world news tonight. And remember David, who cares a lot about his hair.
He does. Trust me. I mean, he cares a lot about his hair and he cares a lot about, you know, making sure this, that, and the other, they are all anti-Trump, but just own it. Don't pretend to be anything else. Just own it. And like, then we have a little bit more, just a little.
little bit more respect for you. But think about this is exactly why YouTube has taken over this space. This is exactly why Legacy TV, as you know it, as I know it, is really and truly over. And this is why something else is going to Stephen Miller put a post out about the details of the big, beautiful bill, and he was attacked by one of the reporters apparently on ABC. I saw your tweet about it, and you say last night in a since-
deleted post, so-called journalist Terry Moran went on a rampage against Stephen Miller. What happened, Caroline? Well, ABC is going to have to answer for what their, again, so-called journalist put out on Twitter in the wee hours of the night calling Stephen Miller vile. They said that President Trump is a world-class hater.
is again coming from someone who is supposed to be an unbiased and professional journalist this is unacceptable and unhinged rhetoric coming from someone who works at a major television network we have reached out to abc they have said they will be taking action. So we will see what they do. Indeed they did. Okay. So they took action, but that's fine. They took it there. But what about the rest of the operation? For goodness sakes, why would.
One Whoopi Goldberg get a pass. I mean, I know that The View has gotten a warning. I know that Bob Iger is like, hey, hey, hey. I mean, we've got one ABC reporter admitting, finally, guess what? The media is biased. It always has been, always will be, because we're all just human beings.
Okay, so be it. So why do you pretend to be something else? Oh, maybe because you're state media, state media on steroids. If you ask me, when you look at the view, I mean, for goodness sake, somebody wants to spit every time they say the president's name. Listen, take him seriously and take him literally. I don't think that we have to. I think it would be. It's remiss of us to not say, Joe Biden knows how to do this. Yes. He knows how to do this. He's quite good at this.
You know, you can't refute anything with him because he just, when I say him, I mean. He rambles. Trump. Trump. He tends to just. Can I mention one thing? I said his name. So she has to say or spit every time she says his name. I mean, again, it's no wonder that the legacy media business. has just officially died. Something that I'm still struggling with, and I'd love to hear your thoughts on, is how did a convicted felon resonate more?
with Americans than a hyper-qualified woman of color. Do you think that racism and misogyny played any part in this election? Well, you know, listen, I think that...
Vice President Harris was... She says it all from the question. He actually goes on to say the economy did matter, blah, blah, blah. But you know where she's going with this. So you have all of these hosts. I mean, they don't know what to do. They're trying to say, can we get a conservative? I'll tell you, any conservative that would go on.
that show. Good luck to you. Good luck to you. All right. That is one thankless job. They better pay you a heck of a lot of money to ever step foot on that set. Right. But this is in part why the FCC chair, Brandon Carr. In terms of FCC is saying enough, right? Like you guys with your bias are so out of control. This is why Brandon Carr.
said, we want to have a full-on investigation into all the DEI nonsense you put in place because you've basically violated trust with the American viewers. One, because you're... so opinionated and clearly wrong, your $16 million payment because of the George Stephanopoulos stuff. proves it. And on top of that, you're in violation of the Constitution because you're selecting people apparently based on race as opposed to being based on their qualifications. And that's just so unbelievable.
wrong, as Brandon articulated himself recently. Your probe into Disney's DEI policies, their senior counsel writes, this is all about bullying and intimidation. Mr. Carr. most powerful tool is his vote on the commission to approve mergers and acquisitions. Is this about Disney's hiring practices or is it about something else? Yeah, this is about the hiring practices and their employment practices.
Broadcasters and Disney owns one, ABC. They have an obligation under federal law. We have EEO rules at the FCC, which means you can't make hiring decisions based on protected characteristics, including gender and race. And the evidence we have so far indicates potential.
that Disney and ABC were making employment decisions based on race and gender, including having effectively race-defined affinity groups within the company with evidence that they put quotas in place based on specific demographics.
If the evidence does, in fact, play out and shows that they were engaged in race and gender-based discrimination, that's a very serious issue at the FCC that could fundamentally go to their character qualifications to even hold a license. But we're going to follow the facts wherever they go. President Trump's been clear we are turning the page on DEI. The first week I was chairman of the FCC, I said we are ending our own promotion of DEI at the FCC. People will be...
shocked if they learned the millions of dollars that the FCC alone was spending to promote DEI. We had it listed as our second highest strategic priority. I mean, think about Everything the FCC can and should be doing national security issues, bridging the digital divide, space economy. And we had promoting DEI as our number two strategic priority. Now we're going to focus on our core mission. The core mission.
Getting back to basics. What do you know? Oh, that's bad news for The View, and that's bad news for Disney, and that's bad news for MSNBC. MSNBC tried to get out of it, though. Remember, they fired this girl. So if you think that you can vote for what people see as their destruction and then demand that they still are cool with you and kiki with you and have Thanksgiving with you, like, I think you're kind of missing the point.
Well, I mean, so much to go through. So many questions. I came onto the set and Willie said, hey, by the way, because we were talking about the historic nature of this suite. And Willie said, do you know? He only lost Illinois by four points. Four points in Jersey. New Jersey by five. I mean, you talk about a... So they get rid of Joy. And it's amazing, right? It's amazing.
I'm looking at Don's tweet here, his comment actually in our discussion. He's pointing out that Disney has lost so much money on streaming. It's true, right? Like, it's just a disaster. They get to try and figure it out. YouTube has that cornered. And, you know, Netflix is... next in line. But anyway, look, they, they, they fired, what are we saying? Suspended. They, they fired that host right there on Disney. You've got MSNBC.
realizing that they better somehow shape up. Actually, I shouldn't say that. You know what? It's not the entire network. It's just some of the network. So you've got some realists over there and these people are like survivors. Okay. We're talking Joe and Mika in the morning. morning. They are total survivors. So while the joy reads out there are like, don't go to Christmas with your family. Don't do this. You have to shun people like Joe gets.
Joe gets the story. He's a former politician, for goodness sakes, right? I mean, he's out there again, like just touting this whole victory. You saw him the next day. This is amazing. We haven't seen anything since Reagan to the point where he and Mika go down to...
Mar-a-Lago, right after the election, and they quote-unquote, well, we'll let Rosie O'Donnell say it. Kiss the ring. She's not happy about that. Not happy. Nor are the viewers, actually. But Joe and Mika, they know where their bread is buttered. They're not taking any chances, right? Rosie's not watching. She's over there in Ireland. Hold, please. So Mika and Joe went down to Mar-a-Lago to kiss the ring. It's the last time I ever watched Morning Joe. Period. End of statement. Unreal.
Unreal. For months you were telling us he's the worst thing that could happen to this country in democracy. And then you go kiss his ring. Despicable. Despicable. Despicable you. Both of you. We're going to change our lower third here, right? That's what they call it. ABC News fires. Hosts, not suspends. This guy's gone. He's toast, ladies and gentlemen. And it's all coming just as we're getting new.
word that boy, you know what? He's telling you one thing out there on CNBC. Bob Iger's like, I really want to keep ABC. I really think it's great. Just as we learn legacy media has completely. Hit rock bottom. YouTube comes out as number one, and Bob Iger actually wants to pretend like ABC's all that. Well, you know, he's going to say something.
He's got to see something because he's got the likes of this lady on his head. What's interesting for me is that. Come on, come on. People's faith in the country. It's waning. That's the thing that's pissing me off. Because in fact...
There's a reason Joe Biden ran the way he did. There's a reason he's running for democracy now, because that's really what's at stake. You worried that you can't pay your bill? Wait till the other guy becomes president and you won't have to worry about it because you'll be in some.
somewhere because that's his promise his promise to us is he's going to force people to do his bidding that's what he said i'm with this i'm going to be good on day one and i'm going to turn into this other person so here's the deal this is all up to you this is all up to you we can sit up here till we're green in the face But this really comes down to the people. What is the country you want? OK, so that was her plea. All right. That was her big plea.
Don't vote for Trump under any circumstances, because if you do, we're going to be in this situation where she alleged that he's going to lock up all the gays and this, that, and the other. It was crazy talk, crazy talk. But what is interesting is that what... we're seeing right now, again, if we think about how we discussed in the beginning of this program, that Letitia James is out there trying to
fire back at the feds and go after cops that might be working with ICE. And she wants a list of people all while the federal government is coming in and saying, hey, maybe we didn't need to nationalize. our national guard here in the state of New York, similar to what was done in California, because we can't have you guys at odds with us. Like that's where we are right now. So Whoopi wasn't entirely wrong. It's just that she didn't want the outcome, the outcome that actually America wanted.
America said, and you look at all the poll numbers, even in the state of New York, with 79% of people saying if somebody has been convicted of a crime and they are here illegally, we want them out. of the country. This is where America is. So yes, they voted on the economy, but they also voted on immigration. And so any which way you slice it. If your job as president is to actually carry out what you promise to do.
When you were on the campaign, then how is what he's doing in any way wrong? And so the more they sink in on this stuff, I just think, look, they're fine to say it, but you've got to stop saying we're ABC News and we're journalism with a capital.
all right like one of you guys actually said i have a new logo for them i should show it it was kind of a funny j that you guys have because it's really not a capital j it's a silly silly silly j and you all get it i mean we're sitting here going why are they still there peace in my mind making a very good point, asking, I'm sorry, I've got to figure out how to...
Forgive me, I've got to figure out how to put these up more correctly so it's not crooked on the screen piece of my mind. But I think this is an excellent comment. How do you define what race and gender is if you can't define what a woman is? Right? It's like we're in this twisted, bizarre... crazy landscape where we don't define what a woman is and yet
And we're not really supposed to, you know, define colors, but you are like you can see it, but you can't see it. I mean, you start to get a little twisted. No wonder everybody's got troubles these days, right? You don't know which end is up. And then you got Disney saying, oh, we're so proud of our DEI. This is going to come back to haunt them. I'll tell you, Bob Iger, watch out because Brandon Carr is no joke.
He's completely serious on this. He's already sent you multiple letters. This is the most recent letter that went at the end of March where he said, we're looking into this DEI stuff. Okay, and this DEI stuff is a problem. I want to ensure that Disney and ABC have not been violating FCC equal employment opportunities. we have FCC equal employment opportunity. We do have those regulations. We have those laws in the books.
And so you can't violate those by promoting NVIDIA's forms of DEI discrimination. While I have seen reports that Disney recently walked back some of its DEI programs, significant concerns remain. He also said, you guys, and this is... really important in the letter. This is important even to Disney shareholders, right? You should care about this right now because he's willing to go back in time to see whether or not any of these DEI programs were in place.
And even if they recently ended, then guess what? Disney is still in full violation. And so then you get a situation where... One, they were violating the law, the FCC laws on equal employment. And then two, they were simultaneously losing and abusing the trust, if you would, of everyday Americans, which is why. Brandon Carr originally sent a letter back in December, right before Donald Trump came into office saying, hey guys, guess what? We may decide to not.
allow for those 250 or so affiliates. I'm making up the number, but it's about that to actually have ABC affiliation because you guys. don't deserve to be carrying the news on federal airwaves. I mean, the SEC owns those airwaves, so you can see now. They're up a creek without a pound. And I suspect it's going to get worse.
And you know what? It should get worse. It should get worse. They should actually just, you know what? They should sell the thing because they don't know how to make a dime out of it anyway. I get that Bob's like, no, no, we got to keep it. We got to keep it. He wants to keep it because nobody wants to give him any money for it. Because it's not worth that much. I mean ESPN might.
might be able to turn a dime or two because people pay for sports. We've talked about this, but on the news front, I'm sorry, it's a commodity and you don't really have any compelling personalities and well, it's free everywhere else. So why do you think people are going to pay for your streaming. This was something I've showed you guys before about the boys' costumes, right, listed. I mean, how is this not some kind of violation of something? I don't know. I was so offended. This is like...
The Halloween a couple of years ago. I'm looking for a Dash costume because my son is a runner and wants to go his Dash. And I do a search for boys' costumes on Disney. And look what comes up. A whole bunch of princess things. Got to be kidding me. So they're in a fresh complex with the FCC. And it's the last thing they need at a time like this, especially as they're dealing with Snow White being such a disaster. I'm telling you, they're going to have to think about this.
I realize they want to try and cash in on streaming. But guess what? YouTube's already got that cornered. They've been at it for 20 years. 20 years. Imagine that. They just had their big birthday. And today, announcing. that they have succeeded in overtaking everything. So their numero uno, look, I'm not saying that the, you know, the little guy can't get ahead, but this is not exactly the little guy. This is the Disney channel we're talking about. And they have been losing a ton of money there.
on Disney streaming. And I expect that they're probably going to lose a lot more unless they wake up. You know what? They could wake up and come to their senses and get rid of some shows that are costing them money, like The View. I get it, guys. I know it's frustrating because I'm like, it's just not. But you know what? Have I ever proved you wrong? I've been like right on all this. I mean, I hate to say I told you so, but did I not tell you so? Joy Reid. Bye-bye. I suspect.
Peppermint Patty will soon be bye-bye. I suspect that they may keep Rachel because they think that she can bring in something, but at some point she's going to actually have to work five days a week. You know, you have to actually work for 11. That 25 mil, you know? You've got to do something to earn it, Rachel. And I do suspect...
At some point, they're going to have to get rid of this particular show because it is total garbage. I do believe that Fox News has overtaken it, although they probably overtook it a while back. I remember being on that show, Outnumbered. And we were already toppling them. So the view is becoming quite toxic from an advertiser standpoint. You don't want that toxicity, right? You do not want that, which is why.
If you're not going to have anything in the way of advertising, maybe you have something in the way of viewership. They're doing okay in fairness to them. Like they haven't completely cratered like MSNBC has. But they're not doing great. And they're not doing great enough to justify the kind of cost that goes into producing a show like The View every day. You know, you've got the live studio audience and the zillions of cameras and a team of 150 producers, etc. They've already laid off.
a lot of the producers. They laid off Whoopi's team. They did actually announce more layoffs at ABC News as recently as within the last 10 days and more layoffs, of course, at Disney within the entertainment division. I suspect at some point they're going to have to to say, look, these ladies either pull it together or we're going to pull the plug. So Bob Iger has allegedly sat them down, sat down the head of ABC News as well, and they've basically gone to whoopee and to joy and to...
Ana Navarro, all of these people and said, hey, you know, we've got to actually pivot. We'd like to do some entertainment stories. We'd like to do some lifestyle stories. We'd like to stay away from the toxic politics that's digging us deeper and deeper into the hole. And it's not clear that that message was so well received. I mean, other than maybe by Whoopi, I will, to her credit, say she is a pro and a professional and she is an actress.
above it all, and she's tried to scale back, but her colleagues won't. So apparently the head of ABC News, I'm not even going to try to say this poor guy's name, reportedly, poor guy, right, because he's going to deal with all these crazies, reportedly met recently with the host and with the show producer to suggest a broader, less politically driven agenda.
They didn't like that. No, they didn't like that. They didn't like it so much that, you know, Whoopi's out there snapping at her producers live on the air. This was interesting. So this particular clip really struck me. I mean, maybe she was trying to tease him a little bit, but I also think part of what was going on was she was mad because what is she supposed to talk about if she's not talking about Trump? You've got to give her a script. She's an actress, remember?
Interesting for me is that people's faith in the country is waning. That's the thing that's... No, I don't think people's faith in the country has waned at all. I think people's faith in the media has waned. I think people's faith in the Democrat Party has waned. But has people's, have they lost faith altogether? In the United States of America, absolutely not.
I mean, you saw a record number of people coming out to vote for Donald Trump. He got the Electoral College. Remember that, okay? And the popular vote. news today, and we'll talk about that in a segment that I have coming up later this afternoon about just exactly what some foreign entities may have tried or tried to do.
In that last cycle, we'll talk about that, as I said, later on in the afternoon. So stay tuned. Make sure if you haven't subscribed, please subscribe to the channel. Make sure you do that. Share, like, comment. I want to get to MSN. We've got a lot to talk about there, but before I do, we're looking at a market that's off, off, off today. My son even said to me, he's home from school now, he's like, Mom, my Bitcoin's way down.
My, my ether, it's way down. Like everything, everything's down. Everything's down. So I bought a little bit today. I mean, gosh, even gold was down. I think at one point, if you're interested in investing and believe me, you should be, you need to be, you want to be.
I'm going to get into your, my mom thing here with you. Like I tell my son, we go through this all the time. You know, he'll want some new pair of sneakers. And I'm like, do you really want the sneakers? Because if you put the $200 in the market and over the span of 20 years, and I get into my compound interest.
you're going to have a whole lot more sneakers than you would. It's important to remember that. So really, you know, as you have these, and I'm not saying that we don't all deserve little things here and there, but. Just remember that the cost is not just the cost of the sneakers or the particular thing you want itself. It's the forward-looking opportunity cost of what that money could otherwise be doing for you.

Happy Father's Day, by the way, to all the dads out there. My dad used to say to me when we shopped his kids at Marshall's because, you know, we were okay, but we, you know, we...
We watched everything. And so I would get all my clothes at Marshall's and we'd go straight to the clearance rack. And my dad would say, you only buy clearance. It's the best brand out there, Trish. Best brand. So I thought clearance was like Chanel or something. Really. Forever and ever. and tell my kids that too. And when you're learning about investing, you want to get value.
You want to be able to buy when things are low. And so when people are scared, those are your moments and opportunities. You can learn more at 76 Research. Use code word dollar. Well, MSNBC, you know, we're just talking about ABC. Again, YouTube dominating, cable dominating, legacy media, the news just coming out today, four months straight in a row now they have taken over this space.
And this has turned into a crisis at MSNBC because you see MSNBC is spinning off into that fancy Versant company. It used to be called Spinco, but you know, they need a little more panache. So they went with Versant and that's going to be spun off. And nobody really knows what's going to happen. You see, they have all of their cable entities that they're spinning off.
And some of them do better than others. CNBC, my former employer, does actually an excellent job. I will credit them with that. I mean, they have their own biases too. It's partly why I started 76 Research, but... In the scheme of things, I think the business media tends to be a little bit more fair. They have to be, right? Because there's money on the line. MSNBC is a whole other thing entirely. And now they're realizing they can't make a go of it because they've got really bad ratings.
Tuesday through Friday night. Not very good on Mondays either with one Rachel Maddow coming in for a guest appearance on Monday night. And I'll tell you, it's no surprise. You know why it's no surprise to me? Because I think they got caught lying. Right? That's the thing. And in this brave new world where YouTube is taking over, people appreciate authenticity. And they appreciate what's real and they don't want to be lied to. And so you know here on this show, I mean...
Sometimes I can be a little too opinionated. I get it. Maybe a little too opinionated for some. I mean, hey, you know, when you're too opinionated for Fox. You'll learn pretty quick that you got an opinion. But it's better this way, I think. And owning my own content, being here with you so directly is very empowering and very exciting.
But when you look over there at some of these cable channels, I don't know what the future is because they've been so badly lying. I mean, think about poor Biden. Remember when he was falling asleep? With reporters, now they're doing an investigation into the auto pen to see if there was any shady stuff going on. Well, MSNBC wouldn't tell you the truth here. I mean, you wonder. I'm going to start the questions. I'll get in trouble.
He said, don't start the questions, I'll get in trouble. You wonder why YouTube has taken over for legacy media. It's because the legacy media was looking at video that was coming into them. They see the same live feeds that I do, and they wanted to tell you he was perfectly fine. In fact, I do remember. I do remember the signature host that's going to, like, live forever, right, on MSNBC in the mornings, Morning Joe saying this is the best Biden ever. I'm sorry if that's the best Biden ever.
I don't know. I don't even know what to tell you. I mean, or think about LaMonica MacGyver facing up to 17 years for that little incident there over in Newark, New Jersey. Where she's caught pushing everyone and somehow they're on La Monica's side. You know I had to say it. Unbelievable. Slow down just so you can really see it. There she is in all her glory. Making a run at those ICE agents. Okay, so they wanted you to think that this was somehow not at all wrong.
for her to do that. And you wonder why their ratings are tanking. I'm sorry, but you know, she's out there with one Jen Psaki who can't even do as well as Rachel Maddow. And Psaki's like, I totally agree. You know, Alina Habba had no business charging you for any of that. Listen.
I think there are so many other important things for Elena to be focused on that she should be focused on rather than trying to stop, you know, Congress members for doing their jobs. No question about it. Lots happening in every state. No question about it. And the woman's now facing up to 17 years. Like, how is that ever a good thing? Alina Haba hitting her with violating Title 18, U.S. Code Section 111A14.
assaulting, impeding, interfering with law enforcement. I have a feeling a lot of people, like that guy, Lander, right, who wants to be the next mayor of New York, is going to get hit with impeding and interfering with law enforcement. So you wonder why these ratings are done. You wonder why they're in a crisis.
wonder why they don't know what to do with the likes of us YouTubers over here that are giving you a little bit more spice and a little bit more personality, right? In the news where we actually own our opinions. I'm telling you, MSNBC, here is... is my advice today. You need to hire, I'm being facetious, more people that look just like Rachel. I mean, what the heck are you doing with a redhead in prime time?
I'm seeing a candidate coming up through the ranks. He? She? I think it's he. Sometimes it's a little confusing, right? You know, Chris Hayes. I nearly said Chris made mad out. You see? You see? Right? They all kind of look alike. They're like little carbon copies of each other. And I found one. The bosses at MSNBC are watching this guy. Jen Psaki. Run for it. Run for it. Or squash them, however you political people handle things like that.
The big picture is Los Angeles is a so-called majority-minority city in a majority-minority state. There are more people of color that live in Los Angeles than white people at this point. And many of those people are undocumented, by some counts. 10% of the population of L.A. County, one of the largest counties, the largest county by population in the United States, is undocumented, maybe as many as a million people. Those people are our neighbors, our coworkers, our classmates.
Our friends, our parishioners, fellow parishioners and churches, they are part of the fabric of the city of Los Angeles. So here's the thing. Their ratings are in the tank. They can't actually figure out how to navigate this new position, right? Joe and Mika are trying, hence the visit to Mar-a-Lago. And their viewers said, bye-bye.
You know, they were right with Rosie. We don't want anything to do with you if you're going to be on Trump's side or like try and present something kind of in the middle. And the rest of the viewers are like, wait a second, you lied. And you're still lying. And by the way, you put a redhead in.
In prime time, what was that? I'm telling you, watch that guy. Okay, watch, watch, watch, because they like clone him over there. And if you look like Rachel and sound like Rachel, you might just have a future. This one, poor Peppermint Patty. One Jen Psaki is not good on television, has no personality, is an excellent liar, and is looking at sinking ratings. She's at 971,000 viewers.
Over the last month, down from Rachel's nearly $2 million earned through 2025, a 47% drop according to the ratings that were out in May. So that's not looking good. But you know what? They shouldn't be surprised. They really shouldn't be surprised because I'm sorry. She's not talented. She's just not. I mean, Rachel, she's not my cup of tea, but the woman does have talent. Okay, I'm going to tell you that. Even when you may say, I can't stand her, I don't like her.
She does have talent. She's got the je ne sais quoi. She takes you down some crazy rabbit hole. I mean, I used to think conspiracy theory on steroids. For goodness sakes, you guys look at us and think that we're the conspiracy theorists. She's the one with the Russia, Russia, Russia rabbit hole nonstop. She did.
an excellent job with that conspiracy theory that never turned out to be true. And by the way, did she ever find Trump's taxes, right? All of this stuff that she kept you going on day in, day out, constantly on the edge of your seat, waiting. And of course, none of it happened, none of it materialized, but she presented a good little story along the way. So even with the short hair and the glasses, you know what? It worked for her.
Jen Psaki does not have that. I'm just saying it like it is. OK, so MSNBC is going to continue to struggle. Their ratings are going to continue to dive. And my prediction is at some point they move Jen Psaki into the contributor role. and Rachel comes back, ladies and gentlemen, with a bang. I know you don't like that, but if I were in charge, if I were producing and I had to produce a Democrat network, that's what I would be thinking.
We shall see. But you know what? They're going to have to deal with their crisis and it's going to get worse and it's going to get worse. And well, who really cares, right? You know, who else is dealing with a big, big crisis? Walmart.
Do you guys shop at Walmart? I actually, in fairness, have not been to Walmart in a while. I used to go to Walmart all the time when I would, we used to have a home in New Hampshire up on Lake Winnipesaukee. And I loved it. I would go to Walmart. I knew things were getting a little weird though when my little girls.
This was so, this is actually, this was like, I was like, we've lived in the city just too darn long, honey, because my kids would be out there in the parking lot at like two years old going, taxi, taxi. My mom and dad would pull up in the car.
And they all thought it was the funniest thing. And I'm like, whoa, is this city living or what? But I would go to Walmart a lot in New Hampshire. I have not been in many years. We no longer have that house on Lake Winnipesaukee. So I don't get the chance to hit the Walmarts. but I don't know as I would right now because Walmart, you know, they kind of, they're on the line. Walmart is now responding, feels it has to respond. It's trying to distance itself from one of its...
Large shareholders, she actually owns 1.9% of the company because in the last one, Five trading sessions, the stock just keeps going lower, lower, lower, lower, lower, lower, even lower today. And it's going lower because they're very fearful. Investors are fearful of not only what tariffs may mean for the company, but Also, what a boycott could mean.
Four, the company. A boycott because people are kind of upset about this woman right here. Her name is Christy Walton. She's the widow of John Walton, who was the son of Sam Walton, the founder, of course. of Walmart. And well, she doesn't really like Trump very much. And she made that very clear in a New York Times full page ad that she took out, you know, because she's got tons and tons and oodles of money pays to be married.
to the son of the founder of Walmart, to the point where everybody's picked up on it, even Carrie Lake asking, do you shop at Walmart? David Harris Jr. pointing out that it's totally wild that you have, in fact, his quote is insane. newspaper ad paid for by Christy Walton. Walmart heiress, like what's going on? I mean, Walmart knows the pain that Target got put through. They know the pain that Bud Light got put through. So this is why they're coming out and they're running as fast as they can.
Again, we condemn violence, including when it's directed towards law enforcement and the damaging of property. As a company with associates and customers in the Los Angeles region, we remain focused on the safety and that of the impacted associates. According to Bartlett, who is a spokesperson of VP Dan Bartlett over at Walmart, he goes on.
The advertisements from Chrissy Walton are in no way connected to or endorsed by Walmart. She does not serve on the board or play any role in decision making at Walmart. So this is what you call. fleeing, fleeing, fleeing, fleeing from that. lovely heiress who could possibly take the company down i guess you know don't bite the hand that feeds you unless you get a whole lot of food to keep on eating and likely she does as the
as the woman who is the widow to the guy who founded Walmart. So it's a serious issue. I mean, look, all of these companies are trying to navigate this more dicey political space. Because for whatever reason, in the first Trump term, you could just kind of like bash them all day long, right? Like, what was that about? They would just bash and bash and bash. And that was cool. And that was clever. And now the administration has come in.
And they had four years on the sidelines. Everybody was like, what was that Project 2025 doing? I'm like, I think Project 2025 is actually fantastic, right? You had a bunch of lawyers thinking this through, saying, well, what if this happens? What do we do? Because the left had already... thought it through. Obama had had his peeps in there, aggressively using the law to their advantage, and Donald Trump came in, and suddenly it was like, well...
Yeah, veto, veto, veto, veto. And Comey with this and that and Russia, Russia, Russia. And before you knew it, you just couldn't get out of your own way if you were in the Trump administration. It was very difficult. Very difficult. And the amount of pressure that they put on anybody that was on the right or supported Donald Trump was extraordinary. So somehow they got away with it all that time. And now... I think Trump's coming back in. He's like, I'm not going to play that game again.
His whole team is like, we're not going to play that game again. And consequently, it's a whole different ballgame. And so if you're a company like Walmart, not only is it a different ballgame, right, from sort of the federal legislation standpoint, look at what ABC is dealing with.
with Disney and Brendan Carr and the FCC breathing down their neck. But it's also different in terms of the people themselves because they got sick of it too. And they're like, we're not going to have a repeat of history. We're going to do things differently. And you know what? We can vote with our wallets. Our wallets actually have a whole lot of power in and of themselves. And so...
When we speak up collectively together, whether it's at the voting booth or whether it's with our pocketbooks by saying, you know, we don't need to go see Disney's Snow White. We don't need to go see Captain America that wants to basically advance a thesis that, you know what?
Captain America is not all that American. That was the Captain America actor. That was his comment while sitting on an international stage in Italy. So all of a sudden people say, you know, I think I'm not going to actually... participate in that. I'm not going to give them my money for that Disney ticket. I'm not going to shop at Walmart. I'm not going to shop at Target. I'm not going to drink Bud Light anymore because Coors Light tastes kind of just the same.
And I don't have to deal with the headache of the political nonsense. So Walmart knows this. Shareholders know this. Again, as I look at the stock price and I thought, well, at some point it will kind of pick up. And even today, I mean, everything is down today and that's related to some of the international stuff that's going on. And of course, as you know.
Donald Trump departing G7 early. That's believed to be in relation to some of the challenges, of course, serious challenges that we're seeing overseas as the Iran-Israel situation heats up. And of course, that would affect a company like Walmart. So that's partly what's going on. Actually, it just turned positive for the day, $94.46. But down, you know, rather significantly from the $100.
Nearly $100, $99.98 it was looking at at the beginning of the month. So this is all boycott related. You see where I'm going, where we're heading. You see how serious an issue. It is to the point where, you know, Walmart's like, we need to distance ourselves from this lady because, you know, she's not helping any of us. And I'll tell you, she's not.
She's really, really not. I wanted to get to balance in nature because, you know, we are fully independent on the Trish Regan show and we love it that way. Believe me, we love it that way. I wouldn't have it any other way. That's why we're so excited about being in top 100. Do what you can.
Share, like, spread the word that we're here, guys, because it matters. Like that algorithm kicks in and it really, really does matter. And I don't know if we're going to make top 100 every week, but gosh darn it, I think for the last four weeks we have. So that's been darn exciting. very rewarding, rewarding for me. But you know what else though?
is really rewarding for me. You know, you know, you know, taking my vitamins every day. Balance of nature. Those are the ones that I take. Let me put this up here. Balanceofnature.com. That's where you guys need to go. You can actually get 35% off. 35% off. Not bad, right? Balance of... Nature. Here we go. Dot com. I take the fruits and veggies. 35% off with code word Trish. Code word, Trish, is the key. It helps me. It helps you. And, well, it helps balance of nature. I will say that I do think as we consider what's going on here with Letitia James, that she is setting up quite... a difficult situation for herself. I think, peace of my mind, you said this on, did you say this on Twitter to me? I meant to respond to you.
And you made the point that she's going to probably be in a lot of trouble. I think I would second that because, again, we're getting more and more news about Trump flooding these big cities like Los Angeles, like Chicago, like New York City. with federal agents that are there to actually arrest people that are believed to be criminals and are here in this country illegally.
Nothing is that out of the ordinary. As Kristi Noem recently said, look, the law is the law, and unless you're going to change it, This is the law, and our job is to uphold it. Here she is. My only question to you, I'd say a question back to you, is which laws in the United States should be enforced and which ones shouldn't? I mean, my job, here's the deal, guys. My job is not to pick and choose which laws we enforce and which ones we don't.
We have laws in this country, and they matter. If you want the law changed, go to Congress. When's the last time you went to Capitol Hill and told your senator or representative to change it? That's what they need to do. This is the perfect time for Congress to make a decision on how they want people in this country.
to be able to have an opportunity to come here legally and to fix this. We as law enforcement officers and as a national security department and agency, my job is to uphold the law. And that's what I will continue to do. Boom. Okay. So Letitia, what are you so worried about? And peace of mind, it was on X, it was on X.
Mike's making the comment. No more Twitter. It was X. Yes, Ice Barbie, David Lorenzo. She does love this. She loves doing her job. She loves enforcing the law. Look, if the law was different, you could enforce a different law, but the law is the law. So until you... change it. It is what it is. And you know, I know a lot of people made decisions not to enforce it along the way for whatever reason.
And maybe this was an auto pen decision. We made a decision for the last four years to allow for some 20 million people to come in here. It's crazy. It's crazy, especially given that this is never where the Democrats were. All right, you know this, I know this, Barack Obama knows this, the entire Democrat Party knows this, even though they try and pretend otherwise. This administration, the Bush administration, has done nothing to control the problem that we have.
We've had five million undocumented workers come over the borders since George Bush took office. It has become an extraordinary problem. The reason the American people are concerned is because they are seeing their own economic position slip away. And oftentimes employers are exploiting these undocumented workers. They're not paying the minimum wage. They're not.
observing worker safety laws. As president, I will make sure that we finally have the kind of border security that we need. That's step number one. Step number two is to take on employers Right now, an employer has more of a chance of getting hit by lightning than be prosecuted for hiring an undocumented worker. That has to change. They have to be held accountable.
Start shedding some light on the problem. And we can once again be a nation of laws and a nation of immigrants. That's what I intend to do as president of the United States. He tried. He actually did a pretty decent job. He was. He was deporting 1,000 people a day. He deported more people than anybody had ever seen. And then at some point, somebody came to the realization that what? We needed more and more illegals because what? What was the goal?
In all seriousness, what do you guys think the goal was? I'm going to tell you exactly what I think it was. It was all about redistricting. They wanted to make sure they had enough people in the state of New York or in various districts of... Houston, Texas. Oh, I don't know. I mean, you tell me, right? I mean, if Leslie is watching, she's like, why do I have somebody like Jasmine Crockett as a representative from Texas? Well, maybe it's because of all this.
districting right if you count the population when you look at the population even if somebody's there illegally they're counting that in and that allows for a certain amount of representatives from each of these various states so was that the goal was that the intention or was it even worse was it because they wanted
to make sure that some of these people could vote in other elections. For example, don't forget, New York Appellate Court had to turn this one down because it went all the way up, right? to the next level when they said they wanted 800,000 non-citizens in the state of New York to be able to vote. That's amazing. But maybe it gives us some sort of insight into what was really going on. So that's Barack Obama. You know I've played you the soundbite.
From Justin M. I get it. I know you're not a fan of Obama. He still ruined a whole bunch of stuff for sure. I agree. Thanks for the generosity. If you think about what Sanders was saying, if you think about what Barack Obama was saying, if you think.
Think about Hillary and Bill Clinton and the whole kit and caboodle of them. All right, they all agreed on one thing, that you needed to actually enforce the borders. And now Donald Trump comes along and says, well, we're going to enforce them. And guess what? If you're here illegally and you committed a crime, you're out. the Republican Party is somehow anti-immigrant. If y'all listen to AOC and her meltdown on Friday, that's exactly where she was going. Watch.
about how this is about illegal versus legal immigration. They are attacking legal status and removing legal status. The Republican majority is anti-legal immigration in the United States. I want to make that very clear, and I yield. back. No, the Republican Party is not against legal immigration. I mean, come on. That is just absolutely a falsehood. But it's getting... Weird, guys, okay? I want to show you what this representative, Jamie Raskin, said on MSNBC, the failing network.
about how we need to stand up to Trump at a time like this. I mean, I'm starting to say... They want something that no one should want. And this is aggressive talk, and he starts hearkening back to founding fathers and all this nonsense about the revolution coming. I can't even like I don't want to say it. I don't want to put words in his mouth. But take a look at what MSNBC has on the air. This is the Democrat Party today. Surprised you.
Well, it was exhilarating to be in Philadelphia with, you know, 100,000, 125,000 people marching in the street. I got to. marched the last couple of blocks with people when I arrived in Philadelphia and Tim Snyder was there and Martin Luther King III was there. It was just very moving. And there's this sense of...
the people all across the country taking our government back, defending our Constitution. And there's no way Donald Trump could organize rallies and marches like that across the country. There was definitely something thrilling about the moment. And for me, returning to first principles, because Philadelphia, of course, is where it all started with the declaration and the Constitution.
You know, the first three words of the Constitution refute everything Donald Trump's been trying to do. We the people, we don't have kings here. We don't have monarchs and queens and dictators. And we don't, you know, allow our presidents to engage. in financial relationships with governments all over the world. That's right in the Constitution, the ban on...
foreign government monuments, the ban on titles of nobility. So, you know, I said none of us will ever get to be founding fathers in the 18th century, but we can be founding fighters in the 21st. I love that. I mean. What? What? What? Yeah. Ladies and gentlemen, the Democrat Party today. Oh, and by the way, MSNBC loves that. This is not helpful discussion, okay? This is not helpful discussion. The whole resist thing, not helpful. This is not where we want to be. And you know what?
I guess the answer to that is, hey, bring it on. Bring it on because there's this little thing I go back to called the Constitution. And if you guys don't want to play ball, you know what? The president has this power, right? The president has the power. to call up National Guard troops, Title 10, U.S. Code 12406, allowing for the president to do this.
And that's where we are, okay? That's where we are, and that's what it's coming to. And I don't think anybody would like to see such a crazy moment like this. But what else do you think is going to happen, really and truly, right? I mean...
The law is the law. Thank you very much. I don't think this needs to be controversial. It didn't used to be controversial. This is all new. And you know what? This is exactly why nobody wants to watch the mainstream media anymore. This is exactly why. Thank you. for being here. Thank you for doing your part. I'm thrilled that YouTube's taken over. I'm thrilled that we're in the top 100. Hopefully we will be again. We'll see. But listen, the reality is this.
They've all gone crazy. You're still sane. I'm still sane. I still know what the law is. You know what the law is. And you know what? It's time to enforce the law. I love that you're here. Thank you for all you do. Make sure you subscribe, share, like, and I will be back with you again right here on The Trish Regan Show tomorrow.
