Episode description

Kate has over 17 years experience working with children and families in the areas of trauma, Child Protection, and attachment and parenting. She is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker through the Australian Association of Social Workers, as well as  a Play Therapist and has worked internationally and locally for both government and non-government agencies. Kate is an Approved Counsellor with Victims Services NSW and has worked extensively with victims of crime and brings a trauma, attachment and neurobiological framework to her work. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Social Work awarded by Trinity College Dublin and a Post Graduate Diploma In Play Therapy awarded by Play Therapy International (PTI) and University of Canterbury.
