Dr. Kate Hendricks Thomas is an assistant professor of Health Promotion at Charleston Southern University (http://www.csuniv.edu/).  She teaches classes on behavioral medicine, program evaluation, and holistic health.
Kate is also an author of the book BRAVE, STRONG, AND TRUE: THE MODERN WARRIOR'S BATTLE FOR BALANCE (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1613143087/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=1613143087&linkCode=as2&tag=wescoatrapro-20&linkId=AEW2OT35I5PBHJJ4), a researcher, professional speaker, and yoga instructor who travels the country teaching mental fitness. A former Captain in the Marine Corps, she loves to work with other military veterans.
