Episode description

Athena Phillips is the owner of Integrative Trauma Treatment Center (http://traumacenternw.com/) in Portland, OR and Vancouver Integrative Counseling (http://vancouverintegrativecounseling.com/) in Vancouver, WA. She continues to practice out of her Portland location and provides professional trainings on the subjects of Trauma and Dissociative Disorders locally and nationally.
Athena has worked in social services in some capacity for over 20 years, and has been a practicing therapist for 10 of those years. She was in solo private practice for 5 years prior to opening her group practices; it was during this time that her specialization in trauma and dissociation became her focus. Her group practice offers integrative, progressive care that includes psychotherapy, support groups, medication management, acupuncture and massage from a prism of honor, hope and reverence.
