Todays show was produced and edited by CarolineOur theme song today is good vibe by infractionhttps://youtu.be/Hoj3427i8S0An open letter to the trans community | by Ariya Lackey | Nov, 2022 | Mediumhttps://medium.com/@AriJay1/an-open-letter-to-the-trans-community-60e1bfd5a577These people lost their life because politicians and the media have normalized bigotry, hatred, and violence toward the LGBTQIA+ community. The constant attack on the lgbtqia+ community from republican nationalists, and evangelical Christian is why these people are dead. The easy access to firearms put in place by republicans is why a 22 year old with previous criminal history was able to obtain firearms. The normalization of bigotry by comedians, like Dave Chappell and Ricky Gervais is why these people are dead. Human decency and respect is now considered ”woke”. The death of these people is not only because of a white 22 year old man, but because the media and politicians normalized hatred, violence, and bigotry. This is on them!We mourn and celebrate their lives by not allowing bigots and ignorance to keep us in the dark. We must stand up to the violence, vote, and ensure we cultivate a community of acceptance, understanding, and compassion. Rest in peace, we honor those lost by fighting to advance acceptance, understanding, and visibility for the lgbtqia+ community. The more we educate, the less violence we’ll experience, it’s our responsibility to do so!Rest in power Daniel Aston, Kelly Loving, Raymond Green Vance, Derrick Rump and Ashley Green Paugh ⸻
