Attention. You're listening to the Tod Huff Radio show, America's home for conservative not bitter talk radio. The advised the content of this program has been documented to prevents and even cure liberalism, and listening may cause you to lean to the right. Here's your conservative but not bitter host, Tod Huff. Well, here we are, my friends, the last day before the Christmas break.
This will be the last time you hear this lovely voice which is still a little bit less than average, still fighting this thing that hits me every year. But anyway, last time will you will hear from me until twenty twenty four. Next week there will be best of episodes. I think we might have a guest host as well, but regardless, this is it last day of twenty twenty three, last day here in the studio, and I want to get into it today. Email should you want to be part of
the conversation Todd at Toddofshow dot com. You can also connect with us by text three one seven two to one zero twenty eight thirty message in data rates may apply. So we're still dealing with the fallout, the fallout from the Supreme Court case in Colorado where they have decided in a four to three case, four to three decision that Trump will be removed from the ballot Republican Party primary ballot in the state of Colorado in the twenty twenty four primary, which
is not too far off into the distance. And this, of course, this decision has ramifications, all sorts of consequences. Where does this end? Does this give and set precedent for other states to join in? We've already we know that this has been out there for some time. We know this has been out there for some time, but we haven't seen it actually become
a reality until right now. Now the Supreme Court ultimately has the final say as to whether or not Trump can and we'll be on the ballot in Colorado. But there's no guarantee. You just never know with these things. I would think I would hope that the Court would hear this and make a final
decision. This thing has been the January fourth, I believe, is the date January fourth, that the Court has basically stayed its decision, waiting for well the Court to decide or until that moment for this to be put into action. But as it now stands, this is where we This is where we are now we've got California, the lieutenant governor there calling for Trump to be removed from the California primary ballot. I mean, we are dealing with
by the way you think about this, it is absolutely remarkable. It is remarkable to me. And these things all of course intertwine. When we're talking about you'll Hearry talk about the seven pillars of propaganda in this nation today, that the average American is actually right of center. The average American connects with conservative principles and values. The left knows this, and so they do a lot of behind the scenes work, manipulation and so forth of the American people.
And one of those things pretty powerful is they have taken control of these seven powerful pillars of culture and society. So you can add the government to this list. You can add media to this list. You can add woke business to this list, big tech to this list, scientific community to the
list. Right, I mean, look at what has happened in the past regarding COVID, Look at some of the governing decisions that have been made, the treaties that have been signed because of quote unquote man's contribution to climate change and the climate crisis, and all of this stuff and so there are media. If I didn't mention media, media is a part of that, part
of that as well. And the government is also and the bureaucratic state, and these these often nameless, faceless individuals who have the reigns of power. They have the reigns of power because the government has been growing out of control. The courts for a long time now have basically decided, some of them anyway, that if they don't like something that's in current law in the Constitution,
they can just make it up. I remember talking about this. I forget which justice it was, one of the justices who's no longer on the courts. I think it was Brier. I think it was Steven Bryer. I could be wrong, but I think it was. Brier wrote in one of his opinions, actually would talk about this when he would travel to schools and so forth, when he was asked to speak do Q and a sort
of stuff. He was asked about citing international law. He either wrote this in an opinion or he was talking about this extemporaneously at one of these events, and he thought it was completely legitimate for the Supreme Court to cite international laws in its decision or even foreign law. And you think, what does that have to do with the United States of America. My friends, we have in this country our own constitution, we have our own federal laws,
we have our own state laws. And to be able to just willy nilly think that you can cite some law that's in another country as some sort of a precedent here is dangerous. It's delusional, it's illogical, it's nonsensical. I used to say on this program, and I'll say it again. We're a half a step away from citing Harry Potter novel novels, right, I mean we why not just whatever tickles your fancy, just say that's the reason and the rationale for the decision made by a particular court. And that is
effectively what we have in the California Supreme Court. So we know that it's spreading to other states. In fairness, it was already in other states. This was this was a a part of the plan. Again, their plan, their strategy day, the left day, the Democrat Party and the seven pillars of propaganda are right there walking beside them and trying to get Americans to
accept this as reality. Right. The reason they have control of these these powerful levers of society, of culture is to use it for their own desires, their own ends, and so they pull these levers to deceive the American people, to empower themselves, to enrich themselves, to grow government, to stop liberty. Liberty to these folks, my friends, is total bogus nonsense, because liberty means that you and I have power and choice over our lives.
They don't like that. They like their own liberty. But see, they think that they get their own power and their own liberty by being a part of the machine, and that they are better than the rest of us, more equipped to make their decisions, not just for their lives, but
for your lives as well, my life. They think that they're more equipped, they're more qualified, they care more, they're smarter, And so we get into this vicious cycle, and it's it's a NonStop assault on the American intellect and psyche through again through these different pillars of propaganda, through the media,
through education, that's another one. Through science, quote unquote science, not science itself, but the science spokespeople, the people, the people who knew the data, who had run the research, who had been at least been familiar with the research on say the efficacy of masks, fully knowing that masks never did any thing as far as preventing a virus from spreading in a you know, culture, in a in a civilization, in the city,
but yet they continue to push that nonsense upon the American people. Anyway, the same questions and problems we have with the vaccines that you're not even allowed to ask questions about. These folks are controlling the levers of government. If you raise a question, if you point out a problem, the folks running
big tech will shut you down in a heartbeat. And you can see how it's that's how they manipulate people to accepting or being bullied into accepting their particular opinions, beliefs, desires, And that's happened here in this court case as well. The court has proven that is it is in fact being run by people who are who view it as just another pillar. They would not call
it propaganda, but they're to use it for whatever means possible. So they come up with the decision that makes totally no sense, saying that Trump engaged insurrection, and then because of that, due to the fourteenth Amendment, they say he should not be on we shouldn't be able to vote for him as
president. So the outcome of this is quite literally targeting the political opposition of the current party in power, and they're saying, your chosen candidate, your candidate that you seem to have the preference for, the candidate that has the most support and energy, the candidate that really never went away since losing almost
four years ago, a little over three years ago. But it'll assume me four years ago that Trump entered the second term, the attempt to win a second term of his presidency, and he's not really lost any of that momentum. In fact, in some ways it's stronger, it's more powerful. It connects to the people. They're going to say, look, you can't even
vote for this guy. So, of course, as a consequence of this, as a consequence of this, Republican Canada started by Vivek Ramaswami, who I commend for doing what he did, coming out and saying take me off the ballot. I love this. By the way, Look, I know some of you have problems with VVK. I was telling Oz this the other day. You know, and I know that you don't always know an individual. There's questions about an individual someone can say the right things and also be
someone that's not. I'm not saying that's the case with him. Some of you think that I I don't entirely know what I think yet about him, but I will say this, if we could just listen to their words and they were being consistent, their beliefs were consistent with what they said, I think that this guy is fantastic if that's the criteria. So because he's out there saying and doing the right things. Well, DeSantis has joined in this
chorus as well. And on top of that, we've got Supreme Court justices on the Colorado Supreme Court. This one is named well, this is the descending judge on Colorado Supreme Court says that Trump being denied due process is quote like nothing I've seen in thirty three years. All seven of these justices in the Colorado Supreme Court, all seven have been appointed by Democrat governors. All seven of them. You had three of them, three of them say Trump
should not be removed from the ballot. You have four that said that he should. And now of course we've got well, who knows where this is? This? You know, this could be an interesting thing. This could the Supreme Court could step in and cause this to fizzle out. This could be one of the I don't know, stepping stones to the left getting their desire, which is again to prevent Trump from being the nominee or at least the president. Maybe they can't stop him from being the nominee, but they're
certainly gonna try. They just don't want him in the White House. They are willing look at everything that has been being waged against this man. From this court case that we're talking about, we have legal cases that are there's four he's got four different court cases. He's been indicted or has ninety some charges against him in four different cases federally and on the state level he just went through or is this New York civil case? I mean, it is
everywhere. It is everywhere he has been. He had been taken off of Twitter until he was reinstated, taken off of Facebook, had been lied about non stop for ever since he stepped onto the debate stage. Definitely since he's been president. In peach twice. Russian collusion, delusion, I mean,
it's unbelievable. It's unbelievable to watch this and to think and to think that they really want you to believe that they're doing all of this because he's broken the law, That he's a danger to our democracy, that this man must be stopped, that he's guilty of insurrection, that he's a treasonist. Ah right, that's what they want you to think. And I defy you,
defy you to articulate the real danger of Trump. As I've said on this program, and as I'll say again before we go to break here, the real danger of a second Trump term is not the danger, not the threat he poses to the United States constitution. It's not the danger or threat he poses to our quote unquote democracy, which of course is a constitutional republic,
our liberty. It's none of that. The real threat that President Trump poses is that he threatens those inside the system, inside the machine, inside and operating the seven pillars of propaganda, in particular those who are at the levers of power inside our government. That, my friends, is the real threat of President hopefully president reelect Donald J. Trump. That is the real threat he poses. And that is why they are pitching a hissy fit of gargantuan
proportions. And I've got to take a break quick time out here, my friends again. Last episode of twenty twenty three also got some words to say one of my favorite episodes here the last day before Christmas, which is just on Monday here. So anyway, timeouts in order sit type my friends back here in mirror moments. Welcome back, my friends. So lots in the stack of stuff. I want to continue what we've been talking about, but I do want to mention this just in case I don't have the opportunity to
do so as we continue to get into this. But for those of you wondering, according here to an article at hot air dot com David Strom, the rate, according to the CBP Customs and Border Patrol, the rate at which illegal immigrants are entering this country, this great nation of the United States, the annual pace, based upon their numbers and estimates, projections and so forth, is four point six million people a year. Four point six million
people a year. And of course we're told we don't have open borders. Give me a break. So that said, let's get back to this discussion. Specifically, let's talk about I want to talk about this justice, this justice on the Colorado State Supreme Court, who has said, who has said that the due process denied former President Donald J. Trump was unlike anything he has seen in thirty three years. This is at the Nationalpulse dot com.
Jack Montgomery dissenting justices. He writes on the Supreme Court, excuse me, Colorado Supreme Court have warned the Court's decision to remove Donald Trump from the state primary ballot for quote insurrection and quote risks sowing chaos throughout the country, and that the forty fifth president did not receive a fair trial. Folks, they don't care. They do not care. I've said this on this program more times than I care to count, more times than I probably can't count.
But I've said that they have the Seinfeld Newman strategy. They the left. And if you've watched Seinfeld, you probably remember the episode where Newman wanted to get Newman was a US Postal worker, which only makes this a better analogy. That he was a United States Postal worker, didn't do anything, didn't do. In fact, Newman would take days off where it was raining, where it was raining, there's an episode about that as well. But Newman
wanted to be promoted to Hawaii. That's where he wanted to go. That was his dream job. Of course, Jerry and the cast of Seinfeld was set in New York City. Newman wanted to go to Hawaii, and so Jerry found out about this. Newman was basically pouting, realizing he had to deliver a bunch of may that he had been holding back just because he was lazy. And of course, as a governor, a government worker today, even in those days, thirty years ago, whatever it's been, could get
away with those sorts of things. Anyhow, So Jerry finds out, he wants Newman out of there, He wants Newman out of his apartment, out of his life, doesn't ever want to see the guy again. And he tells Newman, he said, Newman, I'll do whatever it takes, as long as it takes me, so long as it takes you away from me. And that, my friends, is the strategy being employed here. Make no mistake, make no mistake at all. That is what is being done
here to President Trump. They don't care if it's one of these four criminal cases that takes Trump down. They don't care if it's the Colorado State Supreme Court decision to remove him from the Republican primary ballots in twenty twenty four. They don't care what it is. It makes no difference to them. They would They would certainly like to see him in an orange jumpsuit, again not to be confused with Hillary Clinton's orange pants suit, but they would like to
see that. They would like to see that. They would like to see the guy suffer. They would like to see him, not just in prison. They would prefer to see him in the hole. They would prefer to get reports occasionally that he had been knifed in prison or whatever, beaten up. They love this stuff. They are vindictive, they are driven by evil. I'm talking about the godless radical left. That's who I'm talking about. Not everybody who disagrees with Trump, not everyone who even hopes he's not the
candidate on the ballot whatever. I'm talking about, the ones that are orchestrating this, the ones that are doing this, sometimes behind the scenes, sometimes right in front of the cameras for everyone to see. They are a deliberately deceitful, bad group of people. I don't know how else to say it. They will do whatever it takes, as long as it takes them, so long as it takes President Trump former President Trump away from the White House.
Do not doubt that for a moment. Going back to the article here, despite the fact, Jack Montgomery writs at the National polse dot com, despite the fact that every top justice in the centennial state was appointed by a Democratic governor, which is true, by the way, all seven of them. There was only a four to three decision to remove Trump, with any lists the three chief or the Chief Justice Brian Boatwright, Justice Maria Burkincotter,
and Justice Carlos Somemour as the three dissenting justices. So all of them have been appointed by Democrat governors. Four out of the seven said take him off the ballot, Three of them said not the best idea. One of them goes even further. This is Justice Samour, He says. This the decision to bar former President Donald J. Trump, by all accounts, the current leading Republican presidential candidate and reportedly the current leading overall presidential candidates from Colorado's presidential
primary ballot files. Excuse me, flies in the face of the due process doctrine. There was no fair trial either. Some more continued, expressing particular concern that Trump had never been deemed guilty of insurrection by a jury of his peers. I have been involved in the justice system for thirty three years now and what took place here doesn't resemble Listen to those words. It's not just that we didn't quite do it right. No, he says, it doesn't
resemble anything I've seen in a courtroom. It doesn't resemble. It doesn't look like it shouldn't be confused with what should be going on in an actual courtroom. It was a kangaroo court. They have made a decision that Trump should be removed from the ballot for insurrection when he has not once been legally what's the word convicted identified as an insurrectionist. Certainly there are people who share those
opinions as though they are fact. But my friends look up the definition of I mean, it's crazy to just think that this is what the Founders would have wanted. This is absolutely the Founders would be appalled at this. The Founders would be appalled, by the way, by the way, in a much less extreme way, the Democrat Party is doing to RFK Junior a version of what they're doing to President Trump. That's why RFK Junior so I'm not even gonna run as a Democrat. I'm gonna run as a as a third
party candidate because I can't even get them to well provide me security. He's had people break into his home in I think lost somewhere in California. I think I think it was Los Angeles. I don't know. So he's under threat, he's not. He had not been I haven't looked recently, but he had not been given Secret Service detail. Even after that had happened, he was ignored. He wasn't allowed to debate. They weren't going to have
a primary process. Why would they want it. Biden's their candidates. They want to hide this guy. People say riding with Biden as though they're proud. The truth is Hiden with Biden is what's going on. They hide the guy. They don't want him in the limelight. This is, folks. There are so many facets to what's going on here, and for an average
person not to be able to see them. In a adult person who seeks to be fair minded, who wants to understand the truth, to not identify the shenanigans and the nonsense and the dangerous stuff happening from the Supreme Court ruling to the charges filed against Trump, to the multiple impeachments. I mean, on down the list, the Russian collusion, delusion, lie, it's remarkable, this Supreme Court justice, saying it doesn't even resemble what has happened,
what he's seen happened in the courtroom. One more statement for part of his statement here, and I've got to take a break. In fact, I'm going to finish this part of the article. This is again, this is on our stack of Stuff page at the website at todtepshow dot com. But he continues, this Supreme Court justice and the Colorado State Supreme Court Justice Carlos
Somemour. He says, most other states don't have the election code provisions we do, and this will inevitably lead to the disqualification of President Trump from the presidential primary ballot in less than all fifty states, thereby risking chaos in our country. This cannot possibly be the outcome the framers intended. He is right,
he is a Democrat. We probably don't agree on a lot. But look, you can be a liberal who just thinks the government should be a little bit bigger than someone like me who's a constitutional conservative, and think, my goodness, the very bedrock, the framework that this nation was founded upon, is being torn apart, torn apart, disregarded, burnt to the ground, simply to get the Republican presidential primary front runner and current presidential front runner
running in the general election according to the polls. And for people who are just liberal who love this country, which there are a lot of those folks, they have some bad ideas. They see the role of government as outside what I would say the Constitution limits it to be. They want to spend too much money. They're crazy on some stuff, but they don't want to see their country destroyed simply to get the other parties presidential candidate out of the
race. And they're out there saying some things. And there's going to be more of this. Look at what he says here. This will inevitably lead to the disqualification of President Trump from the presidential primary ballot. So it's going to happen, he says, in other states. We'll see where this goes. My friends. What's the Supreme Court going to do? We will find out quick time out though back in a minute. Welcome back, my friends.
Did you know that you can switch your banking relationship to America's Christian Credit Union, where you can join fellow believers, supporting one another, supporting ministry, and supporting your shared values, all while earning competitive returns on your deposits and enjoying bonuses when you join. You can hop on over to America's Christian SeeU. That's an abbreviation for Credit Union America's CHRISTIANCU dot com slash radio.
That's America's Christian SeeU dot com slash radio. You can jump over there see what the current specials bonuses might be. America's CHRISTIANCU dot com slash radio. So I mentioned RFK before the break. I mentioned RFK before the break. He tweeted out a couple of days ago he said this, and good for him. You know, we had the veck Ramaswami come out and say take
me off the ballot. We've had DeSantis say the same thing. Chris Christie, who's I mean, the acting Democrat on that debate stage, that make believe debate set up that we've got going on in the Republican Party. He's come out and condemned it. An RFK jor this is what he tweeted out a couple of days ago. Trump blocked from the ballot in Colorado. When a court in another country disqualifies an opposition candidate from running, we say,
quote, that's not a real democracy. Now it's happening here again. RFK Junior's tweets. I'm not a Trump supporter, he says. If I were, I wouldn't be running against him. But I want to beat him in a fair election. Oh boy, that's a loaded statement. I want to beat him in a fair election, not because he was kicked off the ballot. Let the voters choose, not the courts. RFK Junior is correct, and again they're they're doing the same thing on a much much, much,
much much much smaller scale. To RFK Junior, this is anybody who's dares to oppose President Joseph Robinette bribery. Anybody who opposes him is dealing with a buzz saw. Dealing with a buzzsaw here in well in multiple forms, being targeted by the government, the weaponization of the Department of Justice, being targeted by the court system, being removed from ballots, you know, having the FBI launch investigations in the phony nonsense, Russian collusion nonsense, the dossier,
and so forth. RFK Junior denied the opportunity to debate, Biden denied secret service. I mean, how many of these examples must exist before some people, I mean some people just are not going to accept this. Some people do not care. They don't care what happens. The ends, in their mind justifies the means. Whatever they have to do to Trump, to prevent him from winning election or I guess reelection, whatever has to be done, they are prepared to do it. They're prepared to turn a blind eye,
they're prepared to justify it, they're prepared to ignore it. They're prepared to do whatever, just don't let him win. And that's a scary, scary place to be. It's a true banana republic. That is what we have going on here, my friends. So that's about all the time I have to say. We'll talk about that today. So I'm gonna take a time out here. When we get back, I've got some comments that I want to share with you. I try to do this every Christmas. This is
again the last day before the Christmas season. I will be out next week returning. I think I'll be back the second. I think that's the plan. Could possibly be the third, but the second or the third. This is one of the only times that we kind of shut down operations here. There's still other stuff going on behind the scenes. Don't misunderstand. But as far as as the show goes, this is the really the only time. There might be a week where I'm out for something else, but it's it's
pretty rare. So all of that being said, quick time out is in order, and I should probably advise you that listening to this program. My attorneys are on me about this, all of them. I'm getting phone calls, emails, knocking down the door. Make sure you tell folks that listening to this program has been proven by science. Ninety eight percent of scientists,
even one percent more than agree that man is contributing to climate change. One percent more scientists believe that listening to this program causes folks to lean to the right, So exercise extreme caution when operating heavy machinery, driving a car. Be careful out that out there today, my friends, you have been warned back here in just a minute. Welcome back, my friends. So here we are down to the last few minutes of twenty twenty three on this program.
I know it's a terrifying place for you, but as I've said before, there is always archives of episodes totofshow dot com. You can listen to the podcasts that you may have missed along the way, I'll even look over the fact that you've missed them. You can go there check them out totofshow dot com. I think it's slash listen. It's easy to find catch up on anything you might have missed. You could also subscribe to our free email column, which goes out every week on Wednesday. It went out here a
couple of days ago. Totofshow dot com a slash column. You can sign up to get that by email for free. You can read some archives of that that should hold you over until we get back from the holiday season. But anyway, in fact, I just wrote That's what made me think of making sure I have said this here at the end of the program was I just wrote about this in the column. So it's gonna be there's gonna be more that I say about this in that column, which would have been this
week's column. But I like to say this every year because you know, we talk about some intense things sometimes know that, and we try to keep it, you know, it's it's a balance. I believe that we should entertain, energize, and educate those that tune into this program. And there's a word in there I use energize. I believe that. I think I think that a big part of the problem that we face is attitude. Andal has to do with our attitude and perspective, and this stuff can be heavy.
In fact, I can't tell you the number of people who have said to me, I can't even listen to anything that talks about politics because it's just you know, making me sick. It's keeping me up at night sort of stuff. It just puts me in a bad mood. I would say, I think they're listening to the wrong stuff because we have to be engaged. Folks. We know what happens. The result of what happens when we're when we are not engaged, is that bad things happen. Right we disengage,
we live our lives. We look up and these radical lunatics have taken over our country and destroyed it. Right, That's what happens. So we've got to stay engaged. But we've also got to have proper perspective. And so there are people that look tune into this program that agree with what we talk about. They disagree. I used to say, I don't care what they believe. That's not the right way of saying it. I do care. What I'm saying is you can listen to this program regardless of what you
believe. I am here to hopefully persuade you to the truths of constitutional conservatism, ultimately the truth that you'll find in the scripture about the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. And that's what I want to talk about here in the waning moments of this program in twenty twenty twenty three. You know, my friends, we have people again with different ideas, beliefs, opinions,
preferences that tune into this program. Some of them are liberals, most of course are conservative, but some are liberals, some are even maybe leftists. I welcome you to tune in. I hope you do tune in. I don't understand the people that constantly just yell at those that don't agree. We won't do that here. We'll have fun. We'll make a little bit of fun of you. I make fun of myself, though, so get over that. I mean, I'm had white hair since I was in eighth
grade, so at least some white hair is not totally white. So I'm used to having to learn to laugh at myself. But we all need to do that, and we're going to have fun a little bit at your expense. But it's not personal. It really isn't. It's about the ideas. It's ultimately to hope make to help make some points, well, let me say this. Christmas is the holiday where we recognize that God sent his son Jesus for all of us. We broke that relationship with God through our sin,
through our choices. We broke it. There was nothing we could do to fix it. But God, in his infinite wisdom and love and patience and grace, said that he is going to fix it. And it doesn't matter. It does matter. I hope you agree with me on these other
things. But what matters above every single thing that we talk about on this program is this that, my friends, Jesus came as a baby to that manger two thousand and some years ago for you, ultimately dying on the cross for his sins, resurrecting from the dead and offering you the free gift of eternal life. Should you just embrace him? So, Merry Christmas, my friends. Back to wrap up here in just a minute. Welcome back to my friends. Last segment here, not a lot of time, but thank
you too. Thank you. As we wrap up this year, we are incredibly grateful. We are launching. As I've said earlier, I think this week we're launching thirteen new markets. Talking with other stations even even since then, we are growing and growing, lots of opportunities that are coming our way, and I'm just grateful to you. I'm grateful to you the listener.
I'm grateful for our advertisers, Folks, support them when you can. And I'm grateful for the stations and those on our team that make this work. So with that being said, Merry Christmas, my friends, thank you for listening. Happy New Year. We will see you on the other side of twenty twenty four. SDG
