Episode description

The Left is more comfortable with Chinese law enforcement in our country than our own police force. Seven Chinese police stations have been found in America – 2 in New York, Minnesota, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Texas, and Nebraska. They are allegedly spying on Chinese nationals living in the U.S.

The strategy of the Left is to silence Conservatives. Could Democrats and carmakers be working together to get rid of talk radio by removing AM options in new vehicles?

Attention. You're listening to the Todd Huff Radio Show, America's home for conservative not bitter Talk radio. Be advised. The content of this program has been documented to prevents and even cure liberalism, and listening may cause you to lean to the right. Here's your conservative but not bitter host, Todd Huff. All right, my friends, here you are tuned into America's home for conservative

not bitter talk. I am your host, Todd Huff. You can always email if you're want to be part of the day's discussion Todd at tod hufshow dot com. You can also text us three one seven two one zero twenty eight thirty. It's a pleasure to be here today. Thank you for joining us. So several things on the top of the stack of stuff list today, and you can always see these things, of course, on our website's stack of stuff page Toddhuffshow dot com. Simply look at the stack of stuff

we get to. It depends on the day, but I would say most of the things that many of the things I'll say that are there, we actually at least touch on, which that's the plan here today. And there's

several things I do want to start or touch on today. But the first one I want to mention to you is I find it incredibly ironic that the radical left seems to be more comfortable with Chinese police stations in the United States of America than they are with the American police stations in the United States of America. And that is the truth. That is, folks, That is

that is literally happening in our country today. You've seen this in several places, but now we know the problem is even bigger than was originally thought headline New York Post. After FBI busts Chinese quote police station in New York City, six more have been exposed in the United States. These are in New York City. Looks like I'm looking at a map here, looks like near Minneapolis, looks like near Omaha, looks like near Houston. That's four,

looks like Los Angeles, and looks like one near San Francisco. These are the ones that they know of Chinese police stations in the United States of America. It's just it's insane. It is the words that I am speaking today. I never dreamed I would be speaking on radio, on podcast, heck, even among my own personal friends over dinner during phone calls, what have you. This is completely inexcusable, completely out of control. Remember this is

the same Chinese government that's floating spy balloons over the country. Biden waits until they get all the spy footage, intel and information that they're looking for before he decides to drop it like it's on over the Atlantic Ocean, off the coast of Myrtle Beach and so forth. I mean, this is it's just incredible. It is incredible, And I seem to hear more anger, more rage about American police stations. Who are the ones who are crying for the

defunding of police. Who are the groups that have actually defunded the police across the various cities. Ironically, in some of these places I rattled off were that apparently had Chinese police stations. I almost think, in fact, I'm gonna I'm gonna say, I am certain that there are leftists in positions of power today, political power who are more comfortable, more more comfortable with the notion of the Chai cooms running police stations in the United States than they are

with American police stations. Again, look at the defund the police crowd, Look at the Eric Swalwell crowd. By the way, did you see I've got this in the stack of stuff too. I don't know if I'm gonna play it. Representative Marjorie Taylor Green. Yesterday in a House was a Homeland

Security meeting, which Eric Swalwell is a member of that. Good Luck explaining that to me Swalwell, who is who has allegedly had a sexual relationship within a alleged Chinese spy, is on the House of Representatives a Homeland Security committee, and yesterday during that meeting, Marjorie Taylor Green, I don't know if you heard it. I'm not luck. I'm just telling you what happened.

He swallow Well, of course, was giving one of his well what the left usually does, some sort of a dramacrat type of performance, pretty pretty poor one, by the way, from the committee, they got slides of tweets and so forth. Marjorie Taylor Green jumps into the mix and says, you know, that was quite impressive coming from someone who has had an affair with a Chinese spy. She says this in the committee hearing, of course, all you know what breaks loose, and they decide they decide that.

Well, first of all, the Democrats want that stuck stricken from the record, they don't need they which I get. Look, I'm not that's whatever your opinions are of that. The idea that there is complete normal decorum and you know, when Democrats are in charge, is patently absurd and completely nonsensical. I mean, they went after President Donald J. Trump with everything they had for over four years. They're still fighting former President Trump as he's gearing

up to run a potential well reelection campaign here in twenty twenty four. And you know, this is the things that they've said about this individual, this man, Donald Trump, the things that they've alleged, the things that they've taken out of context. I was just watching the video the other day, the comments that Trump made regarding the Charlottesville attacks back several years ago, when

he said that there were reasonable or good people on both sides. Of course, the left says that he's talking about the KKK and the white supremacist But but when you listen to the entire clip, which only takes a few minutes, by the way, which all the folks that were making those claims saying that Trump was defending the white supremacists simply were lying to you. We're lying to me, they're lying to the American people, because that's not that's not

what he said at all. He was talking about the people who just didn't want to see statues torn down in their cities. It was part of American history. Whatever you think of that. Maybe those folks are wrong, maybe they're right, Maybe it's some mixture, what have you. That's another discussion. But Trump wasn't talking about the people who were neo Nazis, white supremacists, avowed racists, and so forth. It's not who he was talking about.

Everyone knew that that was reporting on it. But that's not what they did. That's one tiny, tiny, tiny example of what they've done. Now that's I'm not here to this to say that that justifies Republicans responding in kind. I'm simply saying I get a little bit sick of the faux outrage, of the faux shenanigans, the make believe concern over decorum in the House

of Representatives. Remember when Nancy Pelosi tore Trump's State of the Union address, ripped it and ripped it in half after he gave his State of the Union address. Remember that, I mean, there are so many examples of this, so many examples of this, of lack of decorum, of you know, just well a lot worse than what Marjorie Taylor Green did. They just don't like when we when Republicans, when conservatives, when libertarians, when folks

that are not diehard lovers a big government decide to fight back. So that happened yesterday in the House. And that's in the stack of St. Two. I don't know if I'll play that clip or not, but I had it. I have it in the arsenal for the day. Should we decide, should we decide to get there? But the Left is again, is

a cancer to this country. The Left is engaged on a in a routine daily basis on leading this nation into well, I've told Oz a couple of times, we're living in many respects, we're living in the modern day version of Sodom and Gomorrah. If you follow the left's version of morality, or you know, just their worldview, they're morally depraved worldview. If you follow that, we're headed directly into a type of Sodom and Gomorrah situation here.

But they have crazy ideas, they have crazy policies. Those policies and ideas lead us. Not I pause, because it's not even really ideas, it's feelings. So they have feeling and they have policies that lead us, that lead people into poverty, that lead people into into the path of tyranny,

into oppression. Violence is the result. Oftentimes. Look at the defund the police movement, look at the movements that promise all these utopian things but yet leave people having less and wanting more, and of course we enter a phase of complete lawlessness. That's where we're headed with this crazy group of radical leftists leading the way today. But folks, they don't even want to debate their idiocy, as I would say, they don't want to debate their feelings.

They don't want any of that. In fact, what they really want is to silence conservatives. They want to silence reasonable people. They want to silence the freethinkers. They want to silence the people who ask the questions, who don't take whatever they tell us at face value, who are skeptical, who understand human nature, who understand the nature of government. They don't like people like that. They don't like people who have a mentality that says I'm responsible

for me. They don't like people who say I believe that my freedom is not from a selfish perspective, but from a perspective that we all should be free. That's how God created us, created us to live freely and to not be under the heavy hand of any group of people, group of politicians, what have you. And they don't want to debate this. They don't want reasonable people out there explaining ideas, doing what we do on this show, doing what some bloggers do or folks who have an online presence do.

They don't want people out there telling the truth. That's how they want to combat That's how they want to fight conservatism. That's how they want to fight constitutional principles and values. Now, that's not how they'll come out and frame

it. I'll come out and frame it and say that it's people who are of course racist and homophobic and transphobic that are trying to keep things the way that they used to be, to keep certain people down, to elevate their class of people, whatever class they can put someone into, a white individual or a small business over or whatever whatever group they can demonize the wealthy right, that's why they do these things, and that keeps the focus off of

the actual ideas and on the emotion. That's what it does. These folks are professionals at this. This is how they do it. This suffices for many folks because they're either intimidated or they're just apathetic, because they're in some cases getting some of the freebies that they that they want, or have the worldview that they embrace, the morally depraved world view that they embrace, they see it codified into law, whatever the case may be. They're they're lulled

to a false sense of security, lulled into sleep. They don't want people thinking. The government does not want people thinking for themselves. They don't want self sufficient. I don't mean that in some in some out of control, you know, just anti biblical sort of way. I don't mean. I just mean that we have we're responsible for ourselves and more responsible for our families. And that's what conservatives, that's what libertarians, that's what people who believe

in traditional freedoms and value and liberty, that's what they teach. But they don't want those ideas out there. That's why it was a good thing when Elon Musk bought Twitter. That's why it's a bad thing when people like the clowns running YouTube and Google are in control there. They silence people with different opinions. Mark Zuckerberg at Facebook. You know the folks, you know the

groups, right, you know the types. And so by the way, I did see the first part of the Elon Musk interview between well with with Tucker Carlson. Good interview, by the way, if you've if you've not seen it, I encourage you to check that out. That is not in the stack of stuff at the moment. Maybe I'll put that in there anyway. Timeouts in order, But I want to talk today. I want to

talk specifically. I want to make a little bit of a pivot here and talk about the part of the strategy that the left has that says we want to silence conservatives. There's a story that came out yesterday or a piece I should say that just got me to thinking. And and actually I've got some personal anecdotes because we kind of this shoe walks daily dealing with some of these realities in them in the very biased circle of radical leftists out there controlling social

media and so forth. But now they're of course, one of their big targets has always been talk radio. They don't like programs like this. They don't like the things that we talk about. They don't like that someone like me can come on here and have a conversation with you about principles and ideas and talk about them from from a perspective that you know, it isn't isn't emotionally based. It's it's based on the vision of the founders. It's based

on truth and so forth. They don't like that. They don't like that it takes away their power, it takes away their desire for globalism and all these other things that they have desire for, which ultimately just means they want

to be empowered and enriched along the way. Of course, that makes you think of Biden and now the nine family members being investigated for the potential pay to play sort of situation with Hunter Biden, the laptop Joseph R. Biden when he was Vice President of the United States under President Barack Obama, and so you've got all this, all these things that they don't they don't want to talk about. They want to push the narrative, and they they're working

to silence on a regular basis, on a regular basis. In fact, that interview that Elon Musk had with Tucker Carlson. He talked about how Twitter he was his mind was blown, I believe, is how he said it. With how much access Twitter gave the government to basically to the back end of Twitter. They had the ability in some cases to read private messages between

people, crazy crazy stuff. But they don't want to debate on ideas because they know that they will lose, and lose mightily if people are aware, thinking for themselves, using logic, which of course is what we do here each and every day, my friends. But we've got to take a time out, and you're listening here to conservative not better talk. I'm your host, tough back in just a minute, back, my friends. So there's an article here. This is what town Hall. I guess, Matt vespas

town Hall. Are Democrats and carmakers colluding? I love when folks use these words against the modern left after they force fed this Trump Russia collusion, delusion upon us for all these years, our Democrats and carmakers colluding to end conservative

talk radio. Now I know that that sends fear and shivers down your spine thinking of the possibility that this program may no longer be made available if Democrats and carmakers get their way according to the headline of this article, that's that's not that's not the case, but it could make it difficult. So I'm want to read a bit of this and I want to talk. I want to spend some time talking about the strategy that the left has. We spend

our time, and I think it's the right thing. By the way, I'm not I'm not positioning or I'm not I'm not making an argument for something different or something that is maybe similar to what the left does. I think what we do is the right thing. We're in the business of persuasion. We're in the business of proclaiming truth, not that we have it all figured

out. The folks, there is truth out there that has been revealed discovered, and we had better remember it, and we had better make sure that we pass along the truth that we do have, that we do know along to the next generation. If we do not, do you that the chances that they will regress the next generation is of course it increases. And so we need to pass along the truth that we have been entrusted with, some of the truth that maybe has been revealed discovered here even in our in our

lifetimes. So that's how this has to work, and we think about persuasion, we think about communication. We think about this program opening just out there on the airwaves, on a podcast, on our website, wherever, folks they can, they can consume this thing anywhere, right they don't. They can consume it over AM radio stations, they can consume it over FM radio stations, on podcasts online. You get the idea. And see, we're

in the business of communicating ideas, communicating truth. And so I love I love it. I welcome a and open discourse because, my friends, I'm interested in truth. I'm not interested in simply pursuing an agenda or pushing an agenda on you that I don't believe in. And so to me, it's

all about following truth. And the Founders did an excellent job. Whenever they put together the Declaration of Independence the Constitution, they hit some very very critically important parts of what is true and good in the way that we have This nation was built for the citizen, not the subject. The citizen to interact with his or her Yes, just two genders government. So that is the position I come from. But that is not the position that the radical left

comes from. They don't think how do we win the argument. Of course they think how do they win the battle? How do they win the war? But they're they're thinking, I mean, they're thinking not just of winning arguments. In fact, they would be well advised to not think about how to win arguments unless they think in terms of manipulation, unless they think in terms of intimidation. And what they want to do is what we see on

college campuses. They want to scream at people who are presenting an idea that's different from what they have. They want to scream in their faces. They don't want them to be able to be heard by those in attendance. They want to intimidate people who attend these events. They don't want them showing up. They want them to worry about, I don't know, getting targeted in class, sometimes getting physically assaulted, sometimes just getting verbally assaulted. They want

them to feel like second class citizens. They want them to feel shame and guilt for even venturing into a forum where a conservative or the government type person might be might be speaking. These folks, these radical leftist who are doing

these things, are completely incoherent, completely driven by rage. Look at what happened to Riley Gaines at San Francisco here just a what is it a week or two ago where she was quite literally, per what she's shared and what I've read on the story, allegedly held hostage and was actually taken for ransom and then physically assaulted. Is this has become the status quo for the left.

And so that's how they want to have this this fight, in this battle, and they also want to go after They want to go after the very powerful and influential medium that we as conservatives control in a massive way. And there's several reasons why we control it. That's this this sort of platform right here, this talk radio platform. Because liberals, the radical left, they cannot entertain, they cannot attract an They might be able to attract an

audience because of the insane things that they say or believe. They might get some attention, but they can't hold them because there's no there there, there's nothing of substance in their ideology. It is it is purely emotional based. In emotion, it is purely feelings based. It's not based upon logic and reality or what we know life to be like on planet Earth. Is not thoughtful. In fact, it's amazing. We know as conservatives infinitely more about

their worldview and ideology than they know about ours. In fact, I challenge you to do this. If you have a leftist or even even an extreme liberal that you know, just say, hey, I gotta I gotta challenge for you here, buddy. I want you to try to articulate my political viewpoint, and I'm gonna try to fairly articulate your political viewpoint. And if you're like most people in that situation, that conservative can articulate the liberal position.

I say infinitely that is metaphorical, but they can do it many times better than the leftist can even think about remotely representing the conservative perspective. And of course why because they've been told that we're racists and bigots and homophobes and transphobes and everything else, which again plays into what I was just saying, which is their strategy. Their strategy isn't just to try to win the debate. It's to demonize the messenger. And they've done this for a long time.

It's why. It's why they started it with Trump, and Trump's Trump never is going to back down from that fight, and that's why it's gotten this intense. It would have got in this intense with anyone else. If anyone else would have continually basically upped the anti of the of the media and of the left. But normally that doesn't happen. At some point, conservatives, reasonable people say I've just had enough. I've just had enough. I

can't continually have this fight. Trump is not wired like the vast majority of people. I think Trump actually gets his blood pumping whenever he gets to have those those moments. And so they upped the anti and Trump doubles down. Right, This is how this this typically goes, and so this is why

we're at this point. And so they're thinking the left, the media, Hollywood types, entertainment, sports types, they're thinking how do they win the battle not just of ideas, but by you know, you if you're playing in a football game, for example, you can think, how can I strategize better? Or what defense can I run to take away the strengths of the other team's offense and that sort of thing. Or you can think of

things like can we put laxatives in their food before kickoff? Or you think how do we steal how do we get a cameraman up there when they're doing their pregame walk through to try to get some film of what they're working on. How do we intercept their transmissions and signals during the game, right, how can we get a group group of pranksters to go to the hotel the night before, the night before the big game and just be rowdy so that

the opposing team cannot sleep and they're tired the next day. You don't understand what I'm saying. This is how the left thinks about it. We just think and I'm not saying we should change our strategy. We should just we should be aware of what they do and be prepared to fight them wherever they decide to have the fight. But the truth is, the truth is the left will do whatever it takes to advance their ideology whatever. I cannot emphasize

that enough. And so that's setting up this article here that raises the question are the is the left and carmakers? Which again you might think, well, why would carmakers care? Well, we can talk about that too, But are they colluding here? My favorite one of my favorite phrases, of course, are they colluding to try to move out talk radio? Because if you get rid of am radio, it's not exclusively on am radio, but there's a lot of talk, a lot of conservative talk that exists in the

AM space. In fact, as this article points back or points out, Rush Limball is the one that I mean, in many ways, put AM radio back on the map whenever he started his syndicated program back in nineteen eighty

eight. Anyway, I want to talk about this, I want to be I want everyone to be aware of the strategies and the links that the left is prepared to employ to see their ideology come out on the winning side of the argument, and not so much the argument, just to come out on the side of victory no matter what it takes, and it usually doesn't take the form of argument, because of course their ideas are morally bankrupt. So timeouts in order, my friends, you're gonna sit tight. We're gonna come

back after the break, pick up where we left off. We'll see in a minute. Welcome back, my friends. So we're talking here about the strategies employed by the radical left and defeating the forces of good, the forces of good that again are trying to keep the size of government in check, which I mean, folks, we've taken on the chin here for a while. But the strategies and the tech tactics that they are willing to employ are

pretty powerful or pretty dramatic. And so reading or referencing this article in town Hall again, it'll be in today's stack of stuff, Toddhufshow dot com. Just go to the stack of stuff. Are Democrats and carmakers colluding in conservative talk radio? And so basically what's happening here is that according to the article, and I've seen this elsewhere as well, I know I'm pretty sure Tesla

does not have AM radio anymore. But this says in the article, Ford Motor Company is preparing to remove AM radio and most of its quote new and updated twenty twenty four models. A report says despite concerns from US officials over Americans losing access to safety alerts broadcast over the airwaves, they Ford Motor Company said this, we are transitioning from AM radio for most new and updated twenty

twenty four models. A majority of US AM stations, as well as a number of countries and automakers globally are modernizing radio by offering Internet streaming through mobile apps. That's true, FM digital and satellite radio options. That's of course, those are those are true things, right. The market will adjust. But at the same time that when we're talking about over the air what they

call terrestrial radio, there is a limited number of frequencies. You have to register those with the what the FCC and and follow regulations and all that and and so forth. But there's a limited number of frequencies. Not to mention, not to mention the habit that companies develop, you know, work with their customers. You know that they if you want to hear a program and it's on AM radio and that's you know, and you decide to listen on

that platform or that that medium, then that's where you tune in. And so there's the habit that's formed. And if someone says, oh, you got to turn to this station, then there's the whole communication factor. I mean, it's there's money that's involved in that. There's just the resources and time required to make a change. Is it's significant some people are gonna you know, not make the change that would have stayed with the current signal and

so forth. Anyway, the question is is this just happen? Chances is are these are these companies truly disinterested in the next phase of technology or is something more nefarious going on here? Knowing what we know about these jokers and clowns, these folks that are committed to the radical left, we know that it's certainly possible. And a lot of people say, look, why would a company care, right, why would a company care? Now, there's

certainly reasons why it wouldn't necessarily matter where they wouldn't. There's certainly the option that this is just because they are trying to you know, modernize or you know, like they said, a lot of these folks are going to be streaming online, have an FM station, digital satellite radio, what have you,

podcasts, whatever, which we do. So, I mean, and we'll continue to migrate, or to what I want to say, to just to adapt and to evolve in the ways that we need to do that so that we can certainly get our show in places that you can easily listen. That's what we're going to do. But it certainly could throw a curveball for those who are only on AM, or who are predominantly on AM. If you're an owner of an AM station, now you lose your signal completely.

You may not lose the signal, but if great numbers of people are going to eventually not be able to listen in their cars, and that's certainly a factor, a factor to to consider. Now, many of the stations that were on simulcast on AM and FM. But this is still a serious problem, serious thing to consider, because there are some stations that are strictly AM and the left. The left can't beat us head to head. They they

suck at this, they can't do this at all. I've I've said, I have looked for years now at the equivalent to liberal not bitter or even worse, radical leftists not bitter talk radio, and there is nothing remotely close to that. Everything that exists, which usually only exists for short periods of time because nobody wants to listen to it, everything that exists is the opposite, very bitter, very extreme, very angry, completely illogical, morally bankrupt

in their worldview and ideology anyway. So, but why would a company? What's in it for these companies? And I think sometimes it needs to be stated some of the some of the advantages that these that these big companies have. Everyone. Well, many people think that big companies are full of Republicans. But the truth is, my friends, that these are folks that often cozy up to the radical left, and there are reasons for this. We'll to articulate some of those in the next segment, though, sit type my

friends back in a minute. I'll come back, my friends. So a lot of these corporations and I'll get I'm just saying if the look when we look at the Twitter files and we see all of the government's hand in hand partnership with Twitter, social media companies and so forth, Elon must saying these folks had access to direct messages, private messages between Twitter users and so forth.

His mind was blown at how Twitter basically to set here, whatever you want to do, government, We're going to basically be complicit in this. We're going to be complicit in this. We'll do whatever you want. You want us to shut down the Hunter Biden laptop story, consider it done right.

And so the government has this degree of plausibility. Now, for someone who's a small business guy, an entrepreneur, that sort of thing, you might think, why would they do this, Why would they give up control basically of their of their corporation and some to some extent, Why would they give access to the government for these sorts of things. Why would they work with them? What's in it for them? Well, potentially a lot potentially

a lots in it for them. See these big corporations, my friends, we understand that regulation is one of the major barriers to entry for new companies to a market. And these big corporations do not want any more competitors, and so they can work with the government in one area, in this particular area to spy on its users or whatever, and in return, maybe the government is going to be, you know, working with them to establish bureaucratic

rules that will help keep competitors out of the marketplace. Some people think, well, man, why would these big corporations want to have all of these rules and bureaucratic loopholes to jump through and so forth, hula hoops and every thing else. Why would they want that? Well, the reason is because they have a team of attorneys. They have professionals. People who are startups

do not. Reminds me of In my neck of the woods, a group called Cook Group, started by a gentleman named Bill Cook, started making medical devices in his apartment or kitchen or something like this back years and years of fifty sixty years ago. I believe I may have the years wrong, but it's it's a great story. And that was a different bureaucratic world back then.

I don't know that someone like Bill Cook could do what he did and grew this massive, one tremendously successful company that's located in Bloomington, Indiana today. I just I don't know that that sort of thing could happen. And that's to the bigger corporations. They like that. They don't want to have company titian right. Look at what the government did with Fizer. Look at that relationships these folks that were given the rights to make these these vaccines and

so forth, lots of money coming in. I mean, there are reasons, my friends. So I'm just out of time. You're gonna take a break, quick time out back in a minute, Come back, my friends. The thing is, the thing is, while they will come at talk radio, while they will come after the bloggers, while they'll come after anyone with the social media following, with any and everything that they've got, what

they don't understand. What they don't understand is just how strong, how strong of a connection that someone who does talk radio has with the listeners of the program. That's why I'm so grateful to you. And folks will listen wherever they have to. I mean, and We'll continue to find ways to get the content out there out there as well. But the truth is they have nothing remotely as close to as effective as what we do conservative talk show hosts

around the country. Because we speak truth, we connect folks. I've got to run, have a great day SDGC tomorrow. Take care.
