Here's your Conservative but Not Bitter host Todd Hoff. Well, finally, after years and years and years, the Durham Report has finally
been released. Finally. This was the report that was supposed to be looking into all of the garbage happening in the Deep State as it pertained a Russian collusion and all this stuff, and it's just now finally only been released. My goodness, this is such a teachable moment. This is something, in my opinion, In my opinion, it is something that we should use as almost again, I don't want to use this. Please do not misunderstand me.
For those of you that I understand the biblical significance of this, but it's almost like an Ebenezer stone of sorts, a marker, a reminder. It's one of the big, the big markers. If you know the story of the israel Lites, when they crossed into the Promised Land, they assembled, they assembled some large stones after they crossed the Jordan River, which was similar to but different than what they experienced when they crossed the Red Sea forty
years prior. But these stones were used, and God even said Moses, God through Moses, basic like that, Actually, Joshua, this to excuse me, Joshua, Moses, Moses said, of course, passed before they entered the Promised Land. And the instructions were, when you walk down the banks of this river, when you are in this area, and your children see these stones, and they say, what is that all about? Dad, mom, aunt so and so, uncle so and so, And it's
an opportunity to explain, to share the story, to teach. And that's what this is. Not from a religious or biblical sort of perspective, but from a perspective of understanding how the game is played. Understand And you got to go back in time, because folks, we have been emotionally, ah, just deluded. Just there's been a deluge, i should say, of
emotions that have been just that we've had to deal with as Americans. There have been again you go back to the twenty sixteen election, impeachment one impeachment. To my goodness, I mean, we've been through the war on on terrorism. We've been through countless numbers of debt ceiling fights, very intense elections, COVID, all of that. Think about that now. I'm not saying, look, I think sometimes, you know, sometimes we have to toughen up, right, I mean, this is just this is what we're dealing
with. This is life in twenty twenty three. But it has been exhausting if you follow it, and if it's not, if you have the right mentality, it's not if you understand that God is still in control. It's not if you still have hope for this great nation, that people there's still enough people that believe in truth, in the right things to right this ship. It's not exhausting. But if you're if you've given up hope, if you've simply let these the myriad of issues just bombard you and crush you,
I understand it's heavy. You got to worry about what your kids are being taught, your grandkids are being taught about whether or not they actually are a boy or a girl. You have to wonder if your children are being taught, if they're white students in certain schools, if they're being taught that they should be ashamed of their whiteness and so forth, you have to worry. I don't have to worry, but I mean the pressures are there. Right,
You've got school shootings, you had the whole COVID mess. At first it was, you know, effectively, we were folks. I understood part of it, but never the degree that it got to. And you know that if you listen to this program. But we were told conflicting things on an hour by hour basis. We were told to be afraid, afraid of our fellow citizens. And I understand, I understand what we're dealing with. I understand people can make bad choices, but we were told effectively that healthy
people can make other healthy people sick. I mean, it's just the things that we have been taught and subjected to, are told, I should say, and subjected to over these past few years. Has been a lot, has been a lot. I remember again as I go back in my memory bank to twenty sixteen, by the way, pause that this conversation. I actually was interviewed yesterday by a gentleman who helps us. He helps us as
we've been growing. He's managing and helping our sales team, are advertising sales team grow and his name's Crispin. He's a great guy, great organization. And I sat with him for about forty five fifty minutes yesterday and did an interview. We're going to post it. I don't know where The Good Bad Guy's gonna post that. It'll be on our website, probably, I don't know. But it was fun for me, and I think it was a he did a good job. We talk about things that overlapped what we might
what we may talk about on the show. But it wasn't about that so much as much as it was about other things that were related to the content. But some things that some of you may enjoy hearing, I enjoyed talking about them. They were fun to me anyway. But as as we just you know, look back. And I was the reason I thought of that's because he asked me to tell the story of and I'm not going to do it here. If you want to hear it, you can go and listen
to that. But I told the story of what happened Election night twenty sixteen. When I was broadcasting live. I had only been I had only been broadcasting on the radio at for a month at that particular point in time, and I believe I was only on at two am in Indianapolis, just the one market. I think, Well, we were on Red State Talk Radio and in Indianapolis, so we hadn't been on the radio very long, and we were on live. And there's a story that goes along with that.
But it just made me go back down that memory, that memory lane, that that path of memories, and I remembered what it was like in twenty sixteen. You know this too in a sense, in a sense some people. I remember the comments. I remember people saying, I can't wait until this election is over so we can go back to normal, and normal means something totally different than what it means today because we're dealing with so much more craziness. That was almost seven years ago, right two sixteen. Well,
I'm talking about election time. Twenty sixteen was seven years ago. If you look at May Pump talk in November time, this was seven years ago, different, totally different world. We weren't talking about the things that we're talking about today. We weren't trying to explain why kindergarteners don't need to hear about whether or not God gave them or evolution or whatever. They're going to teach them, gave them the wrong body parts, right. We didn't talk about
that. That was considered still crazy back then, and it still is. And that's the I think, the dirty little secret. It still is in a large part of this country, amongst the vast, vast majority of people. But the political pressures are different, and I think some people just don't want to fight about anything. I think some people are slightly or maybe even considerably exhausted. I get it. I relate to some of those things more more than you may than you may realize. I don't on this front.
Get I'll tell you, as Rush used to say, I'll tell you when it's time to panic. It's time to be concerned. It's time to be very, very concerned. It's time. If you're waiting for the signal to get involved in some capacity, this is it my voice or whatever you're looking at out the shield. If you're driving the car right now, that is your sign. That is your sign that it is time. If you've been feeling like you need to do something to stand up against this, I think
it's the time to do that. I think it's time to take one step and put it in front of the one step at a time, one foot in front of the other. But we've been through a lot and these going back to the other and easer stones, analogy, this Trump or excuse me, this Durham Report. Remember I remember I was interviewed. Used to do interviews on another program. I think we called it Tuesdays with Todd. I
had to stop doing it because of everything going on. We've just we got a lot, a lot of things going on with syndication, we had the television show, all this stuff that we you know, we're doing, and it's just it's a lot to deal with, a whole lot to deal with. And I remember this has been years ago now, and I remember the gentleman that would interview me, thinking is this the week? The week?
Is it going to be released? Now here we are in twenty twenty three, and but to me, there's an Ebenezer type stone, a monument type stone that we need to pass along to our kids and our grandkids. This needs to be etched in our memories. This is what happens if you go back in time and you remember all of the chaos, all of the tumultuous stuff, all of the accusations that Trump stole an election with the help of Vladimir Putin. This was literally broadcast on a regular basis, It was written
about on a regular basis. There was no counter or I guess equivalent, I should say, there was no equivalent to the people today that are saying, if you question twenties results, There was no There were no people that were out there saying, you're trying to overthrow our democracy, you're trying to overthrow a duly elected president of the United States. We didn't do that. We don't play those types of games. We live in reality, and we
don't think like cricks think. Cricks think like cricks think maybe we should for dramatic purposes or to make the point be better at that. That's another discussion for another day. But the bottom line is, the bottom line is we didn't do those things. We didn't play those games. We didn't have, you know, an investigation into you know, the equivalent of all these other
investigations in the Trump and so forth. We didn't do that. We didn't And so the marker, the marker that Ebenezer Stone, the memory that we should all have metaphorically tattooed into the front of our brains, is that this is what happens when you hand something over to the government and you expect Now, look, I know that there's Republican House now and they may do something with this. But luck my friends, this thing in general exonerates Trump,
proves that the whole Russian collusion thing, as though we needed this. It demonstrates yet again that the whole Russian collusion thing was a delusion, was a hoax, was a campaign tactic, much like much like we're going to find out, which I think we really have already found out that stupid letter written by fifty one make believe intelligence officials, which again knew less about national security and Russian propaganda than yours truly, who simply has a microphone, never been
in the CIA, never been at DNI, never been in military intelligence. But yet somehow, I, in countless others in this audience and across the fruited plane, knew more about the stupid claim that Russia had released propaganda whenever the accusations were being made about Hunter Biden in his laptop. Remember that whole thing, and they use it again in twenty twenty. They use that as leverage to shut down any story about that. In the twenty twenty election,
or the campaign. Right the final weeks leading up to the campaign, massive numbers of people think it's ten to fifteen percent, I think is what I this is going from memory, But I think I saw ten to fifteen percent of voters would have changed their vote from Biden if they had known about this serious stuff. But the Ebenezer Stone, the memory should be that this is what happens when we rely upon government. It's a day late and a dollar short, right, It's it's hard to remember. Just I think we can
tap into it a little bit if we really try. But we've been subjected to so much between that point in time and this point. It's like we forget, We forget just what that was like. We forget the constant drip, the constant attempt by the media to undermine a duly effect elected president of the United States. There was no honeymoon period. In fact, there were calls open calls for his impeachment by day eleven. By day eleven, by the way, I saw a story. Yes I know it was time to
take a break. I saw a story, and yesterday I got it in yesterday's stack of stuff. Yesterday's stack of stuff shows that Senator Bloomenthal is already kind of laying the groundwork for possible impeachable offenses should Trump win in twenty twenty four, and those have to do have to deal effectively with should Trump make the decision to pardon people who were convicted or whatever on crimes from January sixth, which Trump Trump indicated that maybe he will for some of them, though
not all of them. He did that during that ridiculous again make believe town hall meeting run by CNN and the jokers and clowns over there. But anyway, so the stone should remind us, and it is a pillar of truth. The pillar of truth is once the memory fades of what we were subjected to, people seem to, you know, in some sense, it's a victimless crime in a way, right because like, in one sense, we're all victims, but we didn't experience like a direct loss, right, We
didn't. We weren't personally harmed by this stuff. We had to deal with sophistry and professional deceivers lying to us on a daily basis. We had to watch the president get impeached twice. We had to just watch the general behavior in Washington, DC. Go just you know, go to Helen handbasket basically. But it's not the same as a personal personally being victimized by a crime. And we forget, we forget, and so now the reports being released,
and it just fades into everything else. And of course I think this is part of the strategy. I think the strategy is, you know what, folks, this is the Democrats talking. These are the leftist talking. These are the media folks talking. When they get together and plan who's going to ask Biden what question? And give those questions to Biden with the permission of his handlers and his media team, probably getting questions approved for all we
know. I mean, I think there's certainly evidence to suggest that that is absolutely happening. And I think when they all get together and talk about this, when they all get together and talk about this and they strategize, they think, look, the American people cannot possibly keep up with everything going on. Just put the pedal to the metal, as we used to say as younger folks, put the pedal to the metal. Just get after it.
Overwhelm their senses, overwhelm their ability to stay on top of all this information, and just exhaust them with crisis after crisis, with lunacy after lunacy and push them into this state of just utter shock and disbelief to where they don't
know what to do next. And this should be a big pillar. This should be a stone that every time we walk past it we remind ourselves, our children, our grandchildren, our neighbors, our friends that this is in fact the tactic, This is, in fact the way that they do business. This is in fact who these clowns and jokers are. I've got to take a time out, my friends. I'm glad that it's released. I think House Republicans may be able to do something about it, again referring to
the Durham Report. But ultimately, when the dust subtles were daylight, we're dollars short, and we're gonna be back at the same exact place that we were before this report has been released. That's why, in my opinion, the solution here is for Trump and a series of people that are similar to Trump in the in the way of cleaning up and eradicating these rats. These just evildoers that are just peppered within our government, in the ranks of the

thirty. So this report, this Durham report, this took four years, started in May of twenty nineteen, concluded here in May of two thousand and twenty three. Even if Bernie Sanders has the calculator, my friends, that is four years. That's four years. It's three hundred and six pages. And inside this report the conclusion said that US intelligence I'm looking here. This is in Newsmax, a Newsmax article, but you can find it in the
actual report as well. Durham concluded that the US intelligence and law enforcement who were a part of this investigation, this make believe fantasy investigation, they did not possess quote any actual evidence, just any actual evidence, folks. There is evidence. There is evidence of well pay to play scandal with Hunter Biden, the Biden family, the Biden crime family, Joe Biden when he was vice president under President Obama. There's actual evidence. Now, maybe that evidence
has an explanation. I'm just saying, I'm just trying to be fair here, but this report said there was no actual evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. Russia, Russia, and ask yourself again, go back into that memory bank and remember, relive that for a moment. Remind yourself. This is why there should be a big Ebenezer stone. This is a
pillar of truth. The pillar is we are lied to, we are manipulated, and then when there's a report on what they did to us, many Americans, and I know I'm preaching to the choir here, so don't misunderstand, but many Americans don't care or they're worried about who's going to I don't know when the NBA finals are they're going to I don't know, you know, getting ready for their fantasy football team, or I'm picking on random things. And none of these things are bad, and none of themselves I don't
mean that. But what's we were? We were forced fed a whole list of lies on a regular basis. And if you think about it, if you think about it, we had FBI and intelligence interference, US intelligence interference in two consecutive US elections. We were told it was Russia. No, my friends, it was the United States intelligence agencies. They are colluding, they are interfering, they are doing what they can to prevent a president Donald J. Trump, And they're folks. I mean, how much of this
are we going to allow to happen? OK? I get it. These these are massive We've created massive or we've allowed massive problems to be created. I get that, and it's a massive thing. But I challenge the people who say, well, this is just the way that it No, it's just not the way that it is. We the people have to get up
and do something about this. And I get emails. I get a lot of messages, by the way, you know what, I get the most messages about I'm gonna say this, and I hope someone from his campaign is or his office is listening. The thing that I hear the most about, the individual that I hear the most about that people want to see no longer in office is a Republican Senator from the state of Indiana named Todd Young. I get messages quite a few. How can we organize to find a better
alternative? Right, he's in office until through twenty twenty eight, I think, is what I think. That's when his terms up, twenty twenty eight, and that's good. That's how we need to think. And I hope as we can continue to grow and build a network of people these are I would be more than happy to help facilitate or direct these things because that's what we need, right, We need people who see that the problem, well,
there's and I'm not just picking on him. He's out there. The reason I picked well, if you want to say picking on him whatever, I mean, I don't really care too much about that. But the reason I'm calling him out is because he's out there. It's if you listen to him, he's more bothered by Trump. He wants people to know he's not going to support a Trump presidency. A Trump nomination from the Republican Party. He's been out there much more vociferously against that than he ever has been against
Joe Biden, who's destroying this country in every measurable and conceivable way. What is happening on our southern border, What is happening in our economy, What is happening with our liberty, What is happening with just the way that government functions, the growth, the debt, the way that we abandoned people, our own people in places like Afghanistan. I mean, it is literally, I know it's a metaphor to say it's a dumpster fire, but it is
as close to a real dumpster fire as one can can think. Everything the world is on fire. And look, I don't want to say everything is directly the fault of Biden, but I don't know what he's done in virtually every case to alleviate the problem or to help prevent the problem from really happening.
They want credit. By the way, you see Texas is actually sending people to the border to prevent people from coming in, and suddenly federal government doing nothing, I mean, nothing new in spite of the end of Title forty Title forty two and all the chaos that's happening along our southern border. They're continuing to ignore it. In fact, Biden's laughing about it. We'll switch to this issue on the other side of this break. Biden's laughing about
it. Commalis says, everything's just fine. True story. By the way, my Orcus secretary of my Orcas is out there saying, you know, we've seen a reduction of border crossings of fifty percent in the past few days. But he leaves out the fact that the reason that we've seen that is because Abbot has sent people to the border to actually stop it himself. The state has done this. The apprehensions along the border are not because the Feds
have made some dramatic changes to the number of people. It's the States anyway, we'll shift shift gears here. But the point is the dumpster fire has been caused by Biden, and that dumpster fire in part helps us or I
shouldn't. I shouldn't say helps us. It causes us to maybe lose perspective on just how damning this report, this Durham report is to all of the make believe journalists, make believe Feds who were so called well supposedly investigating legitimate claims into Russian collusion in twenty sixteen, there was no actual evidence none. It's absolutely crazy. How does this go on for all of these years?
And how are we just now hearing about this after four years. It's such a distant memory, I mean four years in politics, and plus it actually goes back seven years, back to twenty sixteen. Anyway, I'm gonna shift gears talk about illegal immigration the border. On the other side of the break, my friends sit tight listening to conservative not bitter talk. I know we kind of did that midstream last segment, but I want to talk a little bit about this mess that has been created along our southern border courtesy of the radical left of the Democrat Party. And look, there's Republican blame to go around here as well, but it's not Trump's fault. That's who we're supposed to believe is the devil incarnate, But it's not Trump's fault. So but
let me just read again. This is all stuff in today's stack of stuff. Hat tip to the late Great Rush Limball Toddhuffshow dot com. You can see the stack of stuff. Just go to May sixteenth, that is today. You can go in there and read some of the things that we've been referencing on this program. But I just want to give you a couple of headlines of things that are going on out there. Biden laughs. He literally
laughed whenever he was asked about the crisis on the border. Vice President Kamala Harris, who, by the way, supposed to be the borders are the border expert. She's supposed to be the one who's digging deep into this, going through with the research, getting all the smart technocrats together to say how do we solve this problem? And of course everyone with a look of common sense knows the ways that this needs to be addressed, and dare I say
it needs to follow the blueprint of what we saw President Trump doing. Anyway, headline here says Kamala Harris says, the situation along the border is quote going rather smoothly. Oz chuckled. Oz is quiet. OZ doesn't say much, but that laugh set a lot to me, and it made me. If you're watching on the video feed, you would have heard me. Seeing me turn my head over there, I forget she's back there. Sometimes anyway, she thought that was hard. She thought that was funny, and it
is funny. Going rather smoothly. What the world are you talking about? There's people can't fit into, They're sleeping on the streets. Their cities are being over round, overwhelmed, and completely inundated. There are reports that people along the southern border. First of all, I saw in the stack of yesterday's stack of stuff that they're getting cell phones. They're getting cell phones in there. I guess they're welcome kits. And they are also getting court dates.
Are you ready for this? Court dates that are as far out. This is gonna sound made up, but I read it. It's in the stack of stuff. Maybe someone's lying in the report, but I'm telling you this is what it said. Their court dates that they are told to report on are in two thousand and twenty seven, two thousand twenty seven. Again, even Bernie Sanders mathematicians can figure out that that is four years, four
years. What in the world is going on? What is going as Kamala Harris says, rather smoothly down along the southern border, What about the mayor of New York City, the radical leftist, the democrat, the dramocrat. I should say Eric Adams. He's suddenly interested. This is a great story. If you haven't followed this, I encourage you to follow this. But Eric Adams now wants to revoke New York City's sanctuary city status. They get a few bus loads of illegal immigrants and he says, I'm out, man,
I'm out. And you think how many people? How many people has Texas and Arizona and New Mexico and California had to deal with, And they're criticized and people are virtue signaling when some of these states are bussing illegal immigrants to other cities like Matha's vineyard, they don't want Remember they melted down.
Was it Martha's vineyard that melted down? And they were basically I remember there was a lady that was as they were busting them out, she would say, we love you, and she's blowing kisses and crap to of them. What the heck is going on? We love you so much, but you gotta get out of here. But if someone else does it, it's racists. It's not being sympathetic. This is again you want another pillar for your ebenez Er stones. Here's another one to put in that pile, that series
of rocks that you can used to talk with your children and grandchildren. The left is perfectly content with telling you what you need to do. The left is perfectly content with telling you that you need to pay your fair share.
The left is perfectly content with saying you need to in Texas or any other state or city for that matter, you need to accommodate people and pay for it and everything else, and not have anything bad to say about the repercussions, the negative repercussions of illegal immigration with drugs and other violence that happens, the sexual assault and rape of these people that are traveling. And again, I understand why they want to come here. The left cannot give you a
reason why someone wants to come here because they hate this country. Try to reconcile that. I know I've said that before a lot lately, but I really think, I really think that that is an irreconcilable position. Of course, most of anything else they believe is as well. But the point is it doesn't make any sense. If the left is right and how terrible this place is, then nobody would want to come here, nobody would want to
come here. In fact, the conversation would be about more like what happened in East Berlin when they put the Berlin Wall up to not to keep people out, but to keep people in. They wouldn't want the mass migration that would happen if they turned this place into a true socialist hell hole. Anyway, my friends, this is the other headline here in the stack of stuff. Secretary I met I reference this already. Secretary Miorcus wants all the credit
and none of the blame. When it comes to the border. Texas starts enforcing it, sending mass amounts of people to patrol the border, the number of people crossing illegally goes down. Secretary Myorcis wants credit for the federal government when they didn't do anything differently at all. Suddenly he wants all the credit. Typical leftists. But this is they want to tell you how to live.
They want to tell you that you can't have a gas stove or a diesel truck, or that your car's economy, you know, economic fuel economy. I should say, she has to be a certain amount. It's got to be a very high amount. You have to do whatever they say, and they want all of the special privileges. They want to jet around on their private jets. Look at John Kerry, who, as Russa Lumba would
say, served in Vietnam. Look at him jetting around the world. Doesn't care about his carbon footprint, cares about your carbon footprint insofar as it gives him power and authority. This is headline to help save the planet, CBS recommends eating eating bugs. Now I've you've heard this before. This is of course, you know everything's tied to climate change. We gotta you know, not have beef. We can't have kids, we can't. I mean, we just basically have to change our lives completely. You shouldn't have air conditioning or heating at all. You should just deal with it as the super elite amongst us will do whatever they want, living in their mansions and so forth. But you know,
you got to replace that. You got to replace the beef. We're not going to have, So we're gonna have to eat bugs to save the planet. I mean, this is Biden's America, my friends. This is where the left wants to take us. They want you to think what America was under Trump, or what it was intended to be under the direction of the founding fathers. And of course, where the free market wonderful American people
have passed, have taken this place. They want us to believe that we're on a better path now, talking about eating bugs, riding bicycles, not heating our homes, and get getting rid of gas stoves and so forth.
