I never thought that I would say this, But it appears to me, it appears to me that America's financial woes maybe you maybe being used as political cover for the absolute destruction of the moral fabric of our society. We'll talk about this today. Of course, the financial woes and this debt ceiling deal is of course front and center as well. We'll get to all these things in due course, my friends. Always be sure to include always, always, always be sure to include the appropriate amount of adoration and praise, which reminds me I did get a message yesterday, got a message yesterday, which one we might get to a little bit later, but I have to tell you there was not enough adoration
and praise. So just make sure most of you do a great job. Just make sure that you think about that before you hit the SIND the SIND button. And so where do we want to start today? I want to start not with the debt limit debacle, the debt ceiling, debt limit mess that we have in Washington, d C. I want to start in an area that well wokeism is on the march here in this country. And I
don't think we fully comprehend or appreciate it isn't the right word. We fully understand the level and the concentration of the attack that is being waged on the
culture of this great nation from every conceivable angle. And I know, I know that I'm talking with folks who are very, very aware of what is going on in our nation today, very concerned about a whole plethora of things, including America's financial future, kicking the proverbial can of debt down the road, not just to our children, not just to our grandchildren, not just
to our great grandchildren, not even just to our great great grandchildren. This can has been kicked so far down the proverbial highway that people who haven't even the people that are going to guide willing if we're all here at this point in time, but the people who are going to be the parents and grandparents of these folks that are going to be paying this back, haven't even been a thought in the minds of people yet to give you an idea of how
far out that this debacle is taking us. With the debt ceiling, and of course we'll talk about that in the later latter part of the program today, but I want to start by talking about the woke assault on this country. And we all know that this assault is. We know that it's coming from a lot of angles. I just I don't know if it's possible to stay up on everything enough to know the level and the intensity with which this battle is being relentlessly waged on the American people. Now, what do I
mean let's start. I want to start here today. I want to start by the term woke. What do I mean when I say the word woke. I haven't went back and I found an article ABC news dot go dot com. Isn't that clever and cute? Abc news dot go dot com? Why does woke? Or excuse me, what does woke mean? And why
are some conservatives using it? And so this article purports to tell us the meaning of the word woke, and it basically says that the original term which I'm not, look, I'm not, this is not what this is about, although they want to make it about this for a whole host of reasons. But this was, they say ABC news dot dot com, which I've never this hasn't been this is what This is not what I mean when I'm talking about This is not what the average person means when they're talking about this.
But the media wants to conflate it for lots of reasons, one of those reasons, of course, being that they can constantly malign an attack and servatives for being racist and homophobic and so forth. But the term they say here was originally coined by progressive throws that word progressive Black Americans and used in racial justice movements in the early to mid nineteen hundreds. It says to be woke politically in the black community means that someone is informed educated and conscious of
social justice and racial inequality. Miriam Webster Dictionary states, So now they're conflating things. They're conflating the movement that was designed to spark and lead to the civil rights movement in this nation with what is radical on the world state, will on this will the world stage, and in American politics today, in
the American cultural battle today. So the term woke today, as I use it, it is designed to explain, articulate, identify a group of people or an individual, I guess somebody who has they would say been awakened, been awakened to the systemic problems in this country. And it extends way past
racism. It's not just racism. Although this article points out that the term began to capture some momentum in the Black Lives Matter movement in two Thousan fourteen, pointing to Ferguson, Missouri, says, the protests here, the riots were the practically burned part of that city down for a false narrative. By the way, so people that were woke during the Ferguson riots were woke on
predicated. Their wokeness was predicated upon a story that did not happen. Hands up, don't shoot, absolutely, unequivocally, without any question, did not happen. But that, of course was the narrative back in those days, and it has been used since to further this notion of defunding the police and all sorts of things that we've seen since that particular point in time. Now, DeSantis and his administration says that woke is the belief that there are systemic
injustices in American society and the need to address them. We reject woke ideology. To Santa said that was in a speech on the night of his election back in two thousand and twenty two. I reject wokeness as well. Wokeness is ultimately designed to undermine and replace the culture and the historical collective worldview of
many Americans. It's Judaian Christian heritage, for example, It's foundations in Western civilization, Western culture, its foundations in using logic in not just kind of the what's often attributed to the far Eastern worldviews of the both and sort of concept where things don't have to make sense. I'm not saying that this is actually true, but this is often attributed to Eastern thought, the yin and
yang, so to speak. Um Western society, Western culture say it says you know, we use logic, we use inference, we use critical thinking to systematically think through and to solve issues and problems unemotionally. And if a is said to be false, a cannot also said to be said to be true in the same time relationship sort of situation. So for example, so for example, someone cannot be um, say both in a car driving to
the airport while simultaneously being at home and a recliner. Right there is and either or it's a forced reality where logic says the two things cannot cannot exist together, they're mutually exclusive, can't be in the same place at the same time effectively. So but wokeism, wokeism seeks to undermine this culture. Wokeism seeks to replace this culture. And it's not so much now, I will tell let me pause. The average woke cultural viewpoint is, oh boy,
I might get some grief over this. I don't think so from you all. But the average wrote woke position and viewpoint is that is honestly is evil and is completely and morally bankrupt. Now, there are certainly things that we can disagree with as individuals disagree upon have differences of opinion and so forth. That's okay, But we are talking about a worldview and something that is antithetical both to reason and logic and what we know about human nature. It is
not compatible with those things. It is not compatible with how this nation was established and set up to function. It is not something that is rooted in deep moral values and principles and truth. In fact, that's why when we travel we call it the truth toward, not that we've got it all figured out, although if you listen to this program long you will think we are
darned close. But it's not that we have it all figured out. It's just that we have had truth revealed to us in many instances, or we've discovered truth along this way, along this journey as human beings. And when we identify that truth, we must defend that truth because there are people who
are actively in the process of trying to eliminate that truth. For example, one of those examples would be that we are either born male or female, and this is being this whole transagenda is being forced on the American people. It's not just the trans agenda, though it is the trans agenda. It's the LGBTQ i AA plus two P or whatever it is agenda being thrust upon the American people. It is this atheistic worldview, this anti god worldview in
many instances, that is being thrust upon the American people. And the people who disagree with this, the people who think that this is not good and wholesome and healthy and something that they want, especially pushed upon their children, are being systematically from multiple angles, sometimes directly silenced, sometimes intimidated, sometimes forced into a reality that makes them either learn to comply with this broken,
morally morally bankrupt worldview and ideology, or else, or else. And that's what I want to talk about today. And as troubling as the debt ceiling thing, is this problem. This problem. When we begin to understand the depths of this problem, we begin to understand the intentions of the people who are leading the charge pushing this ridiculous agenda and worldview down the throats of the American people. When we begin to get a grasp of that, just a
glimpse really of that reality, it is downright terrifying. It is the sort of thing that leads to all sorts of things, including actual oppression for those people who do not agree with the concepts. It is something that leads to the downfall candidly of civilizations. It is, it truly is a disaster. And I know that many of you, most of you are on the same page with me and understand the seriousness of this, But some folks still are
oblivious to the degree of the problem that we're facing today. And I want to talk about that a little bit. I want to talk about where it's popping its ugly little head in places that you would not have expected. You're beginning to see examples of it in places even it pains me to say this. I've got a good, a dear friend who I think the world of who's who's an operator here? But this is this has even raised its head now at Chick fil A, which I would tell you, for all intents
and purposes as a solid, well run organization with principled people. Were no longer in the founding generation. We're in the second generation with the passing of true at Kathy, it's onto his son Dan now and I think other siblings as well. But so there's something that happens generationally to companies as well.
But I don't want to get in specifically to that. I just want to point out that this has been and it will continue to be, something that is everywhere in your school, when your kids' school, your grandkids school, in the workplace, in colleges and universities, in your larger companies, requests for financing to operate their company. We've got ESG scores, d EI scores,
CEI scores. All of these things are designed to put pressure on the American people to artificially put pressure on the American people in every conceivable way possible to adopt this morally bankrupt worldview and ideology. And I tell you, my friends, I tell you, at its core, they know that this is
morally bankrupt. And they know they know that virtue and a commitment to a creator first and foremost amongst the folks that believe the Christian believers in this world today, they understand that that group of people and their commitment to truth and goodness and wholesome, wholesome thought. Again, not that they're perfect, please do Heaven knows they're We're not perfect. That's not the point. But they
do not want they do not want that sort of mindset and ideology. They do not want someone who is not completely under the thumb and under the control ultimately and solely of some governmental authority. They do not want people who are virtuous, because virtuous people do not comply with governments that are not virtuous. This is where things like the revolution actually came from. So I want to talk about this today because it's a serious problem. Some may not grasp the
seriousness of this. Some may think that the debt, spending limits and all this stuff are more important. I disagree, right, that's very serious. Don't misunderstand me. It is a part of this. But when we fully grasp the all of the places and all of the ways that we have been subjected to this ideology, come hell or high water, they are going to force us into submission into believing this. This is like COVID on steroids,
COVID policies, maskings, vaccinations and all this. You think that was bad if you don't comply with this particular worldview in the next I don't want to predict how many years out that this is. You're better buckle up, because it is going to be one heck of a ride for sure. Time out though, is in order. My friends, you're listening here to conservative, not better talk. little set up here, But you can do that. I think. I think we put that stuff on the website. If not, that's on social media channels as well. But let's get back here. Let's set the stage for all of these terms. There's so many terms I threw. We talked
about wokeism earlier. It's really I think the simplest way to think about it is that it's a tool that is used to push a morally bankrupt ideology and worldview on a people so that we would be more willing to comply with and to accept the utter nonsense that they are going to try to push upon us next, which of course includes more government and less liberty. That's the biggest desire of these jokers and clowns both. Again, it's not everybody, but
it's the bureaucratic state. It's politicians who think that they know better than you. It's it's the folks. By the way, you see Bill Maher. Bill Maher sometimes says things and I think, Bill, you're so close to getting it, you really are. But he's all upset at the government and the authorities, so to speak, from hiding the data from COVID about COVID from US, which we talked about that back in real time. I don't know why my people are so naive someone like Bill Maher, who's a cynic
of all cynics at his core. I don't know. There's things I like about Bill, but anyway, he's upset about that. And so there are people that have been truly awakened. We've got the woke who say, hey, I'm I've been I'm now woke to how terrible this country is. Fundamentally that's not good. That becomes a vehicle to push a bad ideology on the American people, a bad government on the American people, a morally bankrupt worldview
on the American people. However, it's good to be awakened to the techniques and the strategies that these clowns and jokers are using on us non stop. And that's what I want to do in the latter part of this program here is I want to talk about what they're really doing, because this goes even deeper than then we first first suspected. So it's not just you can take Target. For example, Target of course is in hot water over the displays
that they've had in their stores. They're in hot water over having kids clothing that's basically pushing this transagenda and so forth for tiny little people, tiny kids. It's disgusting. It's absolutely disgusting to do this. They've got bathing suits where you can I don't even like to say you can put you can put your male parts in a part of the swimsuit so that it keeps it out of the way, so you can feel more like a woman. I guess I don't know. This is what we're subjected to. This is what But
it's not just Target, right, it's it's also places like Walmart. I've got links on the stack of stuff on the website. You can check it out. By the way, the Targets VP of Brands is the treasurer of a radical lgbt Q group that actually has been fighting for the rights if you will, of schools to allow secret gender changes in the students. Secret, don't tell mom and dad. Right, So we've got we've got target We've
got that radical stuff. I mentioned Chick fil A. I look, I think a lot of Chick fil A overall, but they are starting to talk to talk as well. I don't know if it's d EI, CI ESG. It's all kind of the same thing. And by the way, I've got links to that if you want to know, I can't really talk too much about that today. Those different the differences. Maybe we'll touch on it briefly. But if you need to know what that is, well, I guess I can tell you. D EI is what Diversity, equity and Inclusion
ESG is. An economic scores no environmental excuse me score, social score, and a governance score. These are these are scoring systems that are designed to be used to evaluate effectively how woke the corporations are. And then these these big investment firms are putting their money with companies that have higher ESG scores, DI scores and the CEI score. That's something that's put together by the human
What is that thing called the human or human rights campaign? Every time I read that, I think of, of course Seinfeld, when George Costanda or George Costanza has a charity made up where he's taking making donations to people in the workplace, to the Human Fund, the human rights campaigns out here, it's called the Corporate Equality Index. These are all effectively the details you can go study and and I don't want to say it doesn't matter, but for
our intents and purposes today, for our intents and purposes today, that simply means those three letter acronyms D E I, C E I, ESG. It basically just means it's a scorecard for how woke your corporation is. And so now you've got people like the World Economic Forum, You've got other big money sort of folks, leftists and people who love the idea of running the world, being an autocrat, being part of the privileged super elite groups,
which of course in some ways they are through capitalism. They can use their freedoms to do those things, but they want that's not enough. They want control over people, over you and over me. They think that they're better, they think that they're superior, and so they use these tools to force
people to comply with this radical nonsense. And so when Target sets this up, and I've got some actually got a couple of videos from folks that are posted again on our Stack of Stuff page on the website toddufshow dot com. You can go down at the stack of Stuff page and you can look at
some of this. You can look at some explanation as to what is going on behind the scenes from a banking or a financing position, and when investment firms or banks that are often providing the capital, the lines of credit,
whatever else to help these well that these companies rely upon. When these banks are controlled by people who want to see this radical, these radical agenda items pushed, this globalist, morally bankrupt worldview and ideology pushed, then these companies have to make a decision, are we going to do something that could upset our customer base. In the case of Target, what do they lose ten billion dollars in market market cap in like a week or two or something like
that, a lot of money. But when you start looking at how much money they stand to lose from people that are going to help them with their cash flow with further capital investments that help these companies to grow and to expand and continue continue to be profitable, those are much much bigger dollars. In fact, there was an example in one of these videos where an executive is a CEO, I forget the company. They lost. It was twenty billion
dollars. I forget the company. It doesn't it doesn't really matter for this part of the conversation. But they lost. The company lost something like twenty billion dollars, but in short term losses. But because they played the game with the banks, because they played the game with people that were actually going to be funding their operations, they were able to secure, just in America alone, and this is a worldwide corporation, two hundred and thirty billion dollars.
So they basically what is that ten eleven fold? Right? Is that right? Eleven fold? So it looks like on paper man, they took it on the chin. But these investment firms, these folks that are funding the operation are prepared to walk through the metaphorical fire with these folks for the short term. And they've got they've got their wicked agenda, right, They've got their agenda. And what does it include? I gotta take a break. But what does it include? It includes your compliance, my compliance.
It does you work there? You will do it their way or you won't have a job, which to some degree I agree with, because that's the way that you know, when you're an employee, you've got to follow certain
procedures and steps. But what's happening is this is a group, a very small group of people with very nefarious and evil intent, who are trying to basically force America into submission, into a position that we are effectively incapable of doing anything other than taking the globalist, socialist, even communist solution that these jokers and clowns and tyrants most importantly are going to thrust upon the American people at some point in the future. They are setting the stage for that.
Look at inflation, I mean, you just look at inflation, open borders, the war in Ukraine, the debacle in Afghanistan. You put all these things together, and then you look at now they're coming in the schools.
Now they're coming through the corporations, small business. I tell os this, We as Christian conservatives who are self employed, who homeschool, who live in a camper half the time, we are public enemy number one because we are not We're the hardest to control because we don't have the employer, we don't have the kids in the school, and so they're constantly looking churches by the
way or next. If you're a pastor, if you're a deacon, if you're an elder, if you're someone there that cares about your church, you've been on the in the crosshairs for a long time. I hope that you know this, but it's about to get really real as they begin to tighten the screws here from all conceivable angles. So I should point out too, watching something drink during the time out there, I should point out that adults, you know, are free to make their own choices. When I'm talking, when I'm talking about this worldview that's being thrust upon us, what I'm my biggest concern problem is is that the people in positions of power do not want there to be any opposition. They don't want to hear someone say that they don't morally agree with a certain choice
or lifestyle. I can say that and say, you're still free to personally make it until you're forcing it on children, or until you're forcing it upon me or other people who are trying to of their lives. And that's what they're doing. They're creating a scenario where it's going to be hard to not go along with this stuff. You know, I well, maybe another day
I'll say that, but I just the stage is being set for. They're quite literally to be a scenario where if you don't agree with the prevailing worldview and cultural norms of the day, you are not going to be permitted to participate in society. So if they get your employer, you're going to have to accommodate their requests or not have a job. You can say, well, I can go work somewhere else. Okay, that's probably true until they get all. Until they get all or most of at least the big ones.
Now you're stuck with small business, which I love. I'm a small business guy. But there's other pressures that are being exerted upon them as well. What happens whenever these big corporations, you know a lot of times these small companies will get contracts with these bigger corporations, or they'll get contracts with
governments, state governments, local governments, whatever, federal government. What happens when you don't comply with the d ei ci esg BS, if you ask me standards and so forth, you're not your company's not going to be able to compete in that arena. They're coming for the church as well. They have been. They don't like this idea that churches won't marry whoever wants to be married in the actual church. And you see, you know that there's
been the church. Many churches have decided not to have that fight by doing a number of things where they just don't have. You know, some folks, some churches may not even do weddings in their churches anymore because they don't want to be involved in that decision or actually be called out for not marrying someone. They've read the horror stories of the people that were making wedding cakes or selling flowers that were sued by people wanting to have the same sex wedding
ceremony that these business owners did not want to participate in. Happy to serve these individuals as human beings, but they didn't want to be a part of the ceremony. And they're being forced and sued and just basically driven to oblivion by lawsuits and so forth. This is the strategy. This is the strategy. Where's their left to go? And they're getting your kids, our kids in schools. You're going to follow the rules. They say, parents don't
have rights, parents shouldn't be telling schools what they could teach. We literally have democrats saying this one in Virginia in particular. Some are savvy enough not to say that in public. We've had the FBI basically sicked on parents who were upset at school board members for allowing this nonsense, this vulgarity, this morally bankrupt stuff to be thrust upon their kids. And they're attacking from every
single conceivable angle. Now it's to the point where Chick fil A's at least using the terminology it's Walmart, it's Target, it's Ford Ford has a. I got this in the stack of stuff too, A rainbow painted raptor. I had not seen well, if I did, you know, I I have seen this. It's a year old, but it just someone retweeted it yesterday or recently. So a lot of people didn't know about it because I think it was a European campaign prior to now. Now Americans have seen this
as well. So again it is just these are not decisions that these companies wouldn't make outside of the pressures being exerted upon them by the people holding the money strings. And where do you go? And this is why leaders like a Trump like it to Santas, especially to Santas in this case. I don't want to be mis understood, you know. You know my thoughts on
that if you listen to this program. But the way that he's handled some of these issues as governor in the state of Florida, we have actual examples of watching him deal with this. This I know to some people who are just all about the dollars, Benjamin's whatever. I understand you say, stay
out of the social issues. But when you understand the gravity of where the socialists or issues are taking us, when you understand that the problems this is to the business men the businesswomen out there who think it's all about economics.
It's not. You want to complain about worth work ethic of young people, or demands they put on employers, or the expectation as they come into the workplace, or what have you, which, to a certain degree, all generations have had, but they've had this nonsensus garbage pushed upon them, especially the higher they go up in education, especially if they go to more left
leaning schools. Of course, that's all schools are left leaning, but the most extreme will produce the most extreme radical almost unemployable in a very real sense, individual people that small businesses would not hire the places like Target does, and they promote them because they've got the degree, they got the credentials, and the next thing you know, bud Light comes along, has a partnership
with Dylan mulvaney that almost single handedly sinks the ship there. But again the executives are saying, hey, I would rather lose They would rather lose that amount of money in sales, that percentage of market share than to lose the funding from people who are looking at those CEI, d EI ESG scores. And that's why they play the game, and that's why it's a noose that's being slowly but surely tightened around the necks of the American people. Sit tight,
