So we have this debate coming up in Well in a week, June twenty seventh, debate in the atl in Atlanta, CNN's going to host this baby. There's not going to be a crowd. We're going to see how this thing plays out. I'm looking forward to this. But that's just a week. A week away Trump versus Biden. It sounds crazy to think here we are not even to July and we're already having debates. I feel like I'd have to go back and look, but I feel like we're August or September
is when most of most debates typically begin to take place. Maybe not till September. I'd have to look. I know it's definitely not June, that's for sure. Anyway, So we've got this coming up here in a week, and the media is already getting out in front of this. I love this. I love this in ways I can't fully explain to you. This is at nbcnews dot com. This is where we're going to start today today, why presidents often struggle in their first re election debates, and how Biden
is getting ready. They're already setting the bar low. It's like they're saying, we know what's about to happen, we know what's about to happen, and so we'd better get out in front of this to make sure we don't we minimize the damage here. So we're setting the expectation that Biden is going to struggle, and they're going to go through this lengthy article here series of explanations to explain. This is lengthy. This thing is a lengthy a lengthy
article. They want you to think, Hey, this is common, this is what happens. All great presidents, all great presidents have this problem. So just be prepared. He's going to struggle. But there's a reason for this. It's just that the guys out there busy being president, right, he can't. It's got It takes some gear shifting to get back into the campaign mode. Give me a break. That's all these folks are concerned with anyway. Campaign campaign campaign, So we'll talk about that when we start.

They're already preparing us for a
debacle of a debate next week. Again the headline here Nbcnews dot com. This is in the stack of stuff on the website at todtufshow dot com. Why presidents often struggle in their first re election debates and how Biden is getting ready. Presidents have to shake off years of deference in the oval office when they're finally confronted by their opponents in high stakes debate. So if I could just give you the quick summary of this. The summary is, look,
these guys get elected president, they then go into the White House. They're the big dog, right, They're running the show, they're calling the shots. They whatever they say really goes. Yeah, there might be some people that are pushing back and questioning them, that are advisors and people in their cabinet and everything else, but these folks don't have to answer to anybody. This is a business meeting. They're the people that are in charge. They're
out there just leading and being president. And so you gotta shift gears. You gotta shift gears to be able to move from that mentality. You gotta be moved from that mentality where everyone defers to you, everyone says mister President, and they're super respectful and everything else. You're running the show in the oval office. And now you're on the debate stage and you're being taunted by you're being taunted by President former President Trump. You're being called names like sleepy
Joe or whatever else he's gonna call him in these debates. And so the narrative is, you're just not ready for this. Let me stop all this nonsense. Number one, Number one, sleepy Joe President Bribery is not the one that's in there running the show in these meetings. You know that that's the effect. You know that Biden, he's the person who technically has the power, But I don't know that he even knows that he has the power to wield. He is just a figurehead. He's not the one who's out
there driving these meetings. I'm not even sure he's asleep in these meetings. I'm not even sure he's a physically present for these meetings. Remember the G seven. We just talked about this this week, the G seven, these other world leaders. Remember I commented on this. I said, how can any world leader be surprised when they meet Biden and see just how little the guy does, how ill prepared he is, how unlikely he is to even stay awake at meetings? Why is this surprising to anyone? Why were they
surprised that he wandered off from photo ops? Why they shouldn't have been None of this should have been surprising. In another sense, they weren't completely taken off guard because they were prepared to constantly reach out and touch Biden and say, hey, we got to go this way, buddy, Hey, the camera's over here. Turn this way. You know, you quit calling the ducks back there, quit you know, whistling, and you know, just
looking off into the sunset. You got to pay attention over here. They had to do all that kind of stuff, and they knew that, but it was even worse, according to reports. It was even worse. They didn't expect it to be quite as bad as it really was, according to reports. Anyway, so we know everybody knows this guy is not the one calling the shots. This guy's not the one running the show. He's The problems that he's going to have on the debate stage have nothing to do with
this. This is living in a fantasy world. Megan Lebalwitz, who is the author of this piece that I'm referencing here, This is completely delusional. This is designed. This is designed to reach the people who still take the media seriously with a message with an idea that says, hey, let me just tell you right now, you better be prepared. Biden's not going to do well. But there's a reason. There's a reason he's not going to do well, and it's that he's used to being the big man on campus.
He's not used to being up here being heckled by Trump, and every time I don't know, I mean, what's Trump going to do? I don't know, and it's I'm I'm like you, I'm looking forward to it. I'm looking forward to Trump calling this this crap out. I am. I'm looking forward to Trump doing his best to let the world see what's really going on with his political opponent, Joseph rob that bribery. But they're trying to make you think, Hey, don't set your expectations high. Who has
high expectations? Raise your hand if you have high expectations for Biden in this upcoming debate. I think most people, most people are fifty to fifty whether or not he can get through the full ninety minutes without having a major, major breakdown, major just collapse mentally. I think that's what most people are asking themselves. Can this guy go a full ninety minutes without just utterly collapsing? You know, what are they going to do to this guy to get
him ready for this? Let's look at what this thing says this article. Life as the commander in chief is in a sort of protected bubble, says Alan Schroeder, a presidential debate historian. Oh yes, we've got We've got a historian who focuses on presidential debates. It's four years of people saying, mister president's a Democrat strategist to put it. Then comes the first debate of
a reelection. Camp pain, when the shock of personal confrontation with the hungry adversary has for decades led presidents to lose or perform poorly in their initial matchup, putting their chances of a second term in doubt. It's a trend. President Joe Biden will be focused on cutting short next week, give me a break, give me a break, focused on He's focused on surviving this debate
is what he's focused on. If they can have this debate er at two am and only be covered on you know, some news outlet and Azerbaijan or something, that's their preference. If they could somehow avoid having any of these debates that would be their preference, they know they have to do them. Biden is not looking to change this. Well. The argument here, what this narrative is, which is President's currently don't do well on debates. He's
not looking at stopping that. He's basically looking at surviving the debate. That's really what it comes down to. He and former President Donald Trump will meet in Atlanta for the debate on CNN next week. While Trump, Trump's gonna try this, says, to knock Biden back, like so many challengers before him. So so basically, it's kind of a given. The expectations they want you to think are Look, Trump's gonna knock Biden back. Biden's gonna
not be ready. This is normal. This is normal. I guess it's also normal to have someone in the White House who face plants after giving speeches. I guess it's also normal in the White House. To excuse me, to have someone in the White House who, while biking and standing straddled across the bicycle, tumbles over and face plants on the ground. I guess those
are normal things. I guess it's normal to have someone in the White House reading from the teleprompter and reading not the words he's supposed to stay, but the cues like pause or lap or whatever else that this teleprompter says that he's not supposed to read. That they've probably taken off the teleprompter at this point. They probably know whatever we put up there. This guy is going to say, so, don't give him any direction. Just let him stand there
and look like a crazy lunatic just staring into space. That's better than him reading the word pause or whatever it is, whatever they've put on that teleprompter. And so that's the expectations they're setting the bar, I would say, just a tad bit low. It's a tad bit low because Biden's expectations or that he, you know, is that he's going to do terrible. Trump's expectations or that he's going to do well. That's what this article says.
And they're preparing for this. This is what everybody knows. Nobody expects anything different to come from this. Nobody does anyway. That's what they're doing. That's and again you can read this full that's the summary of the full article. The full article is how every president deals with this, Folks. There is not a president you can compare Joseph Robinett Bribery too. There's not a president. No one has had this level of just absolute collapse mentally in the
office. Nobody has. I know, in Reagan's second term there were always there was discussion about dimension and Alzheimer's and that sort of thing. But nothing, nothing remotely close to this. Biden is absolutely aware of next to nothing that's going on in the White House. Whatever picture they're painting here, don't buy it because well, even if it's a Hunter Biden painting, Hunter Biden paying that you, you know, it's worth five million dollars, you still
shouldn't buy it. They'll probably a praise if Biden is re elected presidents of fifty million dollars. You still shouldn't buy it because it's not in any way, shape, manner, or form rooted in reality. This is not at all what's going on here. That's what they want you to think. So, my friends, Harvard Gold Group, you know that they're a partner of ours on this program. They specialize in physical gold and silver delivery. They

Again, Harvard Goldgroup dot org slash Todd is where you'll go use my name Todd if and when you're ready to start investing with them, and they'll give you a two hundred and fifty dollars credit. So the expectations are low here, my friends, for the Biden administration, the Biden team, the Biden campaign as they move into move into this well, really, what's the beginning of the home stretch of this election? Right of this campaign,
I should say. So, we've got the debates next week, We've gotten not too far off in the distance, still a little ways up, but not too far in the distance. These Democratic Convention, the Republican Convention where the candidates will be named. Of course, we've got still waiting on to see who Trump's VP choice is going to be. He's been teasing that, maximizing as much of the publicity of the buzz that he can and kind of
teasing these things. So those things are coming in the not too distant So we're in this little period of time, this little period of time where it's kind of the calm before the final storm, the final push. And you know, as I've shared, this is going to get intense. It's going to get intense. I've shared this before. I'm going to share it again in case, in case you haven't heard this, or in case you're of
the belief that you just want to get through this campaign season. Folks, it's just let me tell you, that's just the wrong way to look at it. I understand. I understand that you desire a return to normalcy. I do too, in a way I do. I mean, this stuff's important to me. I like talking about it. There's never a shortage of things to talk about on this show, that's for sure. But there's a side of me that kind of longs for a return to the days where we
didn't have to have these intense fights constantly. But folks, those days are over. Those days are over. I remember back in twenty sixteen. I remember people saying, I can't wait until this election's over. Hillary versus Trump, Trump versus Hillary, all this nakedivity, all of this name calling, all of this just tension around the country. I understand it. I do, Folks. At my core, I feel like I'm a peacemaker like you. Know, like a lot of you are. I don't go looking for
conflict, but there are things worth fighting for. I don't shy away from the conflict or anything like that. But in general, it's good to just be able to live at peace. But my friends, we've reached a point in this country where it's impossible. It's impossible to live at peace. I mean, look on a personal level, right, I mean, biblically speaking, I believe that you can live at peace. But I mean I mean that we're in a culture war and that doesn't have to impact you internally.
But the idea that that's going to go away after after November's election is candidly beyond naive. And I say that with the utmost respect. If someone sees it that way, that's not what's happening here. As I've said before, as Reagan said, freedom is always only a single generation away from the possibility of extinction. We don't just naturally pass along to our children via our DNA this understanding of freedom. They don't have built within them the tools, the
the the ability to maintain that freedom on their own. We have an obligation of responsibility to explain it to them, to give them the tools to defend it. You know, as I say these things, I'm reminded. I mean, I'm reminded of how God told the Israelites to be sure to share
their story with their children. Right as you walk along and go about your day to day lives, as you as you go about your business, as you do things as a family, have these, you know, have have these markers, have them, have an American flag flying this as an example. You don't have to. I'm just saying, have a picture of the founding fathers on the wall, something whatever it is for you and your children. The last Dad, what's that about? Mom? Why are we Why
are we saying the pledge of allegiance or whatever it is? Why do we stand? We stand? We stand? In my household do we do when the national anthem plays? If we're watching a sporting event? We stand? And you know the kids would ask me at first, Dad, why do we stand? And you have that opportunity to explain it. Now. Some people think that, think that's cheesy. Heck, if I'm at a restaurant,
I do that. I stand for the anthem. So but it gives you the opportunity to share the story, and that's how these things are passed along. Now, I note for a lot of people, they think, you know, I'm looking to persuade millions. I'm looking to get lots of people to listen to what I have to say. I'm not really interested in just you know, teaching my kids, but my friends, that is that's
the number one priority. That's the number one priority. And what would happen, by the way, what would happen if more people took that responsibility? Seriously, if we weren't so numb with busyness running from here to their sporting events, performances, trainings, and none of those things are bad, don't misunderstand me. But what if we carved out a little time to say, hey, this is in fact, my friends, my children, this is why we have what we have, This is why we have this ability to
live this type of lifestyle. Freedom is not something that you just acquired through the bloodstream. In fact, left to their own devices, people typically drift towards governments that take more control because they promise so many things that sound good to people. They promise peace and prosperity. And what do they bring? They bring? Tyranny they bring, they bring, sadness, they bring a loss of dreams, a loss of opportunity. That's what these ideas bring.
Big government ideas, constitutional conservatism, liberty do not. They bring opportunity. They bring the ability for the brain, for the heart to dream and to aspire and to work hard and to see the fruit of your labor. My friends, that's what this election is about. Those things are not going away the day after the election. We have one group of people that has gone all in on a worldview that is diametrically opposed to what I've just shared with
you. And it's a battle that's being fought in the government, but it's also being fought in entertainment. It's also being fought in science. That's the thing. You can find your own little front to fight this battle. It exists across at least seven fronts, which we call the seven pillars of propaganda. Anyway, I've got to take a break. We're gonna shift gears a bit. On the other side of the break, continue our discussion here today,
my friends. You're listening to conservative not better talk. I'm your host, Ti Huff Back in just a minute. Come back, my friends. So, a couple of other things I want to get to here, as the program comes together here today. Two things. One one is that Union voters. So we know that Hispanic voters are moving to Trump. We know
that the Black vote is moving to Trump. I don't mean that he's going to have a majority of it. I just mean that the numbers are shifting people from these Again, I don't like to think about these groups like this, but they're moving from Biden to Trump. And now there's reports and of course this is this is the one that should be I don't know, just a no brainer. A no brainer to me is Union voters are now shifting
to Trump. I'm going to share that this is actually well, I'm going to share a little bit of personal this is something I can My dad was a union, a Union representative. I grew up in a Union household. So I feel like I know a lot of these Union guys. I know them through my dad. I don't know some of them super well, but I've got to be around some of them. There were things I remember. They would have basketball tournaments when I was still in high school, and I
would go up and be the scorekeeper. So I saw these guys and was around these guys and watch these guys and listen to these guys and so forth, and they're conservative people. They just vote Democrat because they're afraid. They're afraid that Republicans are trying to take away their paychecks. So I want to talk about that before I do. My friends, if you're currently a smoker,
you're currently chew tobacco, if you're currently vape. Nick knack Naturals has created a better alternative, better alternative for nicotine consumption than those messy options I just listed, and without all this without the side effects of the smoke, the spitting, the slimy pouches, the bad breath, having to go outside and be basically quarantined by yourself as you take a cigarette break, all that stuff is done away with with nicknack Naturals. Nicknack dot com is the website.
If you go there, you can see the variety of flavors they have. You can get the flavors you want if you just like if you have a favorite and you want to get cans of that particular flavor, have at it. You can eat it, you can consume it at your desk, right, you
don't have to go outside. There's no messiness, there's not all of these other things that come along with tobacco use. And so nicknack dot com is where you can go nick knack dot com in ic inac nicknack dot com promo code time, I will save you fifteen percent on your purchase. Again, this product has nicotine. It's not for folks that are currently not using nicotine.
It's only for people who are using nicotine products who are looking for naturally better alternatives, and those exist that nickknack dot com again promo co todd saves you fifteen percent. So I was raised in a Union Democrat household. I had a bit, if I can share for a moment, I had a bit of a what I would consider a leave it to Beaver upbringing. I mean I did. I was fortunate my friends. I had two parents who were highly involved in my life, close to them now. I love them
with all my heart. I'm very blessed, very very blessed by not just parents. I mean I've got a great brother, I've got I have had great grandparents. I've just had a blessing of tremendous people in my family whom I love greatly. I truly do. I'm grateful for them. And the older you get, the more you realize it. There was times I didn't realize and I didn't realize how fortunate that I was to have this. But my dad always, you know, coached us in sports. He worked with
us. He'd you know, throw baseball with us, throw football with us, play basketball with us. That is until we started beating him and he didn't want any part. He didn't want any part of that anymore. But he was always there. I remember he came to my practices right he worked. He would go in super early to work there. He was a union representative as I was in high school, and someone always had to be there from the union, and it was a twenty four hour you know, people
working all the time. So he would go in early so that he could come and watch me practice practice. I'm talking practice, Alan Iverson, were talking about practice. Man. He came to practice to watch us, and I was blessed. Mom. My mom stayed at home, she was a homeroom mom. I don't even know how that works today. The other thing I want to get to today is some some news on homeschool, which we'll get to in the last segment. But homeschool wasn't We didn't homeschool, but
my mom was constantly involved in in our classrooms as a kid. She was always there for the you know, Christmas parties or the whatever, Valentine's Day, all those things, bringing cookies, all that stuff, field trips. She was there, she was home. She kept us, you know, kept us disciplined. I mean she would when I was in elementary school, you know, got us off the bus, maybe we'd have a snack, but we had to get that homework done before we did anything else. I
mean, just I was blessed my friends. In fact, I honestly this is going to sound maybe a little bit naive, but at the risk at the risk of setting naive, I don't think I really began to understand how blessed I was in that regard, just with having wonderful family, parents that were involved and cared about me. I don't think I knew that until I started running. I ran a boys and girls club for a while, and I saw what some of these kids went through, and it was an eye
opening experience for me, It really was. I remember there were a couple of kids they had won. We had an event that was funded by a grant and it was called the Shuffle. And this is going to date me a little bit. We would when kids would come, they could enter into a drawing to win an iPod shuffle back in the day, the little iPod shuffles. And I remember this pair of brothers both won an iPod, both of them, each of them won an iPod shuffle, and they started coming
on a regular basis, and they were teenagers. And I got to have a pretty decent relationship with these fellas, and I remembered them asking me a couple months later, maybe six months later, Hey, Todd, when are you going to do another drawing for iPod shuffles? And I said, well, you know, we had a grant for that, and we don't really have that now, and we're not living high on the hog here at the
club, so I don't know that we're going to do that. I said, besides, both of you guys won, where are your iPod shuffles? And they told me true story, my friends, They said to me, we had to sell our iPod shuffles to bail our mom out of jail, and I was shocked. I didn't know. I couldn't relate to that, And so it was because because I had. And I don't mean this in any way. Please don't misunderstand me. I'm not saying that this makes me
bet. This doesn't make me better any This makes me fortunate, is what it makes me. I didn't have to worry about those things as some people do, so I had that blessing growing up. My dad was a Union Rep. I shared being around those guys. These are conservative people. They are they're conservative people. These are pro gun people, meaning that you know, defend the Second Amendment. These are people who believe in free speech. You should be able to say what you want. If someone doesn't like it,
they don't have to listen. Maybe there's an argument. You know, that's fine, these folks, don't. I mean this is these these people Union Democrats. And if you're out there, if you're a Union Democrat, you have more I'm telling you right now, you have more in common with
me. And I think you know this. You have more in common with me, infinitely more in common with me then you have in common with someone like Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer. Remember Chuck Schumer's out there putting cheese on raw hamburger, thinking that's the point in time that you grill and put your your cheese on top of the raw burger, obviously not knowing you got to flip the burger over and then what happens to the cheese? I mean, come on, right, but even beyond that, just ideas and what we
believe. I mean, folks, Yeah, I don't want to get too much into it, but you know, my being raised the way I was, I mean, and there were I had to work, you know. I mean, I've I've stacked hay in barns. I've picked sweet corn. I've torn roofs off, shingles off of roofs. I've fallen through a roof not completely well, my leg went through, Thank goodness, it was as
far as I went through. I've I've hung vinyl sighting. I've I've laid shingles, I've framed houses with you know, I had people there that knew how to do it. I was the help, but I did these things. I managed a horse farm, right, I shoveled the manure. I've trimmed fence line. I've painted fences. I've hung Christmas line on the owner's house on a peak of a roof that I'm telling you it was thirty feet
off the ground. I had to belly crawl out to the end of that peak to hang those Christmas lights and so but that work ethic, working with my hands. It's not what I do today. But I mean, that's what I did. And I'm telling you telling you the real threat to your union, livelihood, the value of your dollar, the work that you put in for your family is with ideas that are pushed and peddled by this administration, by the Democrat Party. They're the ones, these lovers of big government,
are the ones that are making the dollars that you earn worthless. These are the ones who are opening up the border and who are allowing your union jobs or jobs in labor in general to be at risk of going to people who shouldn't even be in this country. The risks, my friends, the people who want to take away your guns, the people that want to take away your freedom of speech, who want to censor you online. These are
not conservative limited government people. These are leftists, and they find their home in the Democrat Party. Your home, my friends, really and truly is as Reagan had the blue dog Democrats back in the day, the Reagan Republicans. Trump can have the same. Trump can have the same. You should vote for Trump in twenty twenty four. It's a no brainer. I say
that with all due respect. I know sometimes the Democrat you know, the connection to the party can run deep, but they abandon you long long ago. My friends, they don't even care about your vote. You're not radical enough for them. They'll use your vote if you give it to them, but they stop trying to give it. They don't care about your life. They don't care about the lives of any of us. Let's just cut down to the chase. They care about their power, they care about their position.
They care about lining their checks. You see, Nancy Pelosi made some massive amounts off of stock trade the other day. How does this stuff happen? I mean, I leave it up to you to decide, but it's not because they're protecting you, that's for sure. And I've got to take a break. My friends, sit tight. You listen to any conservative not better talk. I'm your host, Tod Huff back in just a minute. Welcome back, my friends. Oz was asking what am I doing over here?
I actually got I got this month's food food supply from my Phdweight loss dot Com. It came yesterday. You can hear I'm looking at I just unpacked this actually during during the break. I've got my salted caramel protein crisps. Those are good. I got some some cereal chocolate peanut butter, and I've got these protein bars. Got vanilla divine, which is good. And I've got this salted caramel there we go, caramel sea salt vine which is
in there as well. They ship this food to you each and every month. There's a lot of variety. Some of it's very good. I didn't like all of it. I'm not gonna lie to you. I didn't like all of the food, and that's okay. They know that. They know that when they go in, so they let you at first. They send you kind of a sampling that first month, and then you figure out what you like and then you can order it. I've got my hot chocolate in
your hot chocolate's really good, by the way. Got some protein chocolate drinks and so forth. A lot of stuff in here. I haven't even fruit drinks in here, as well, but this is part of their package. It's part of what they provide to their customers as they go on their weight loss journey. We are back away from the microphone. Here we are. What are we in about? I think this is my third order, so
around we must be around eight week eight. Got our first four week supply and then we had our Yeah, so this would be about week eight or approaching week eight. My phdweight loss dot Com is where you can go. Look. We all from time to time may realize, look, I need to lose some weight. And I got to that point a couple of months ago and been doing this program. I'm down my scales. I broke the scale. I think I shared that with you. This is where you insert
your fat jokes. But I broke the scale. The scale was well, it needs to be replaced. In fact, I'm getting the new scale. I think I just got the note saying it was going to be arriving today, so I'll know more exactly where I stand. But I'm down about at least ten pounds. That's what we were when the scale broke here recently so, but my PhD Weight Loss has helped us do that. I'm not hungry. It's a good program. They've got a coach that helps each and every
week. My coach is Alyssa. She's got a lot to put up with me. By the way she puts up with me. I'm pretty candid on these things. Alyssa, here's my problem, and I tell her and she's you know, they're resourceful. But I would say that this, uh, this program is a good fit if you're looking for ways to, you know, to lose weight. They've got a good program. My PhD weight loss dot com. That's my PhD weight loss dot com. So and by the way, that's m Y for my my and then PhD as in doctorate like
PhD. Myphweightloss dot com, My PhD weight looss dot com. I should say, all right, my friends. So the other thing I wanted to talk about, and I don't have a ton of time here to share this, but Oz. I haven't even mentioned this to Oz because I really wanted her reaction to this. We we homeschool here. So there's a magazine. This is a red state dot com. This is in the stack of stuff. Magazine calls for federal regulation of homeschoolers, otherwise known as a conservative database.
Now if you homeschool, or if you follow the homeschool movement, if you just know about your government, you know that there's calls for this kind of stuff all the time. You also know that there are differences between different types of you know, states handle it differently. Actually, Indiana, OS is pretty good right for homeschooling. Those other states that are not as friendly
to homeschooling. You probably have your guesses as to which ones those are, But in general, it's the states that are that are kind of managing I guess homeschool in their in their respective states. But now there's a magazine. What is this magazine? Scientific American? Scientific American? Is this science? A science spoken here by saying homeschoolers should be basically regulated by the by the federal government. Does this make this science? Ants? Am I allowed to
go against what American Scientific says because that would be disputing established science. I don't know. These are things that we have to ask ourselves and wrestle with these tough questions, my friends. But here we go. In a June seventeenth newsletter, Scientific American Magazine, based on the numbers from the National Center
for Education Statistics, suggested that federal regulations be put on homeschooling. N CES shows that almost three percent of American students are homeschooled, roughly one and a half million kiddos. But it is not the call for federal regulations that is the most disturbing thing about Scientific americans suggestion. The best part is that they
also suggest that parents of homeschooled kids undergo a background checked. Undergo a background first, just one question, what does this have to do with science, which of course was kind of my question off the top. The newsletter goes on to can see that homeschooled students do EXCEL test scores are consistently fifteen to twenty percentile points higher than their public education counterparts, and homeschool students also tend
to score higher on the SAT and ACT tests. However, Scientific American points out that most states don't require the same assessment of homeschooled kids that are required for their public school peers. But it seems that the real problem Scientific American has is with the parents' level of education, and the publication engages in a bit of fear mongering, saying that parents are not required to have an education themselves to direct instruction, and in most states, no one checks to see
that the children are receiving an education at all. In worst cases, homeschooling can hide abuse. I'm just out of time, just sharing that my friend's SDG. Gotta go.
