The advised that the content of this program has been documented to prevent and even cure liberalism, and listening may cause you to lean to the right. Here's your conservative but not bitter host, Tod Huff.
That is right, my friends. You've made a.
Very very, very wise and astute decision here today by tuning in to The Todd Huff Show, America's home for Conservative not bitter Talk.
I am, in fact, the benevolent dictator behind the microphone here, and it is good to have you thoughts, questions, feedback, adoration, praise, you know, the routine. Todd at Todhoffshow dot com or three one seven to one zero twenty eight thirty, that's where you can send those messages. Let's get right to it. I want to actually pick up kind of where we ended previous hour of this program, where we were talking
about the new political alignment. The political realignment. We've got RFK Junior, We've got Tulca Gabbard, we've got Donald Trump. We've got all of well not all, but a big chunk of RFK juniors. Following followers supporters that are moving over to Trump. Then you've got people like well, two hundred and thirty eight people who signed a letter. Oh, a letter, A strongly warded letter. We are going to sign a strongly warded letter showing our support for Comrade
Kamala Harris over Donald J. Trump. That's our preference. We want to talk about policies. It's remarkably stupid, but anyway, Republicans, former Republicans, Republicans that worked for Mitt Romney, Republicans that worked for John McCain, Republicans who worked for George W. Bush. So I want to talk about this. Adam Kensinger spoke on stage at the Democratic National Convention. Jeff Duncan, former Lieutenant Governor of the Great State of Georgia, spoke at
the Democratic National Convention. There were others as well that spoke, Republicans who spoke. Stephanie Grisham, right, didn't she speak at
the convention as well? Anyway, So I want to talk about this, this realignment that is happening here kind of in real time, and it begins to I guess to heat up here as we move headlong into the final well months almost down to week I mean, we can measure it in weeks, but I mean, here we are at the end of the beginning of September almost and we're down to just about a little over two months now, two and a half months, I guess. So anyway, we're
gonna pick up there. There's other things I want to get to that are in the stack of stuff, which you can always check out at totoshow dot com. Just go to the Stack of Stuff. My pillow dot com slash Todd promo code Todd gets you the premium Queen Size my Pillow for only nineteen ninety eight and special pricing on other items as well. MyPillow dot Com slash Todd promo code Todd. So let's pick up kind of where we left off last hour. We set the stage identified I guess the two sides of the line. This is no longer politics about tax policy. The twenty twenty four elections not about that anymore. It never was. Politics in general is no longer about these
things that we have traditionally called called political. We are now in the world of I mean, folks, we are having the same types of arguments in this country, as the founders did. We were having revolutionary era types of arguments talking about the role of our government. Now, I'll be honest with you. Be candid with you is the better way to say that. The people who are in our government did not want an open debate about whether
or not the government should grow. The American people have been taught well, I don't know how much it's being taught today, but historically the American people were taught that we have a limited government. It's what we were given by our framers, by the founders of this country, by the founding fathers, and so we understand that that's a good thing and a big, bloated government is a bad thing.
I mean, you don't have to go to the license branch more than once in your community or the post office to realize that those problems are part and parcel the result of governments that have grown too big, that have no accountability. There's nothing that people feel like they can do about it. They have budgets that are just way out of control. People are getting paid in some of these jobs way more than they're worth in the
private sector. These things are unsustainable, especially when you factor in when you factor in things like pensions and so forth, as we look at the overall growth and scope of these government agencies, the size of the workforce, the entitlements and everything else, and so responsible people have said, you know, the government's out of control and virtually every area, and one of the areas that they're out of control in is in the area of well in general, I would say,
I guess you could just say health. RedState dot com headline here RFK Junior calls out FDA, CDC, NIH corruption And this is a quote from RFK Junior. The most profitable thing today in America is a sick child. Robert F. Kennedy Junior appeared on Fox News Sunday to talk about his plans to partner with Donald Trump to make America healthy again and drop some big truth bombs about the corruption and perverse incentives within the United States public health agencies.
Host Shannon Breem asked RFK Junior if he wants to dismantle the federal government agencies legedly writes RedState dot Com related to public health, FDA, NIH, and CDC. In his response, he pointed out some harsh truths about how those agencies function. That more Americans need to be aware of. So this is what RFK Junior said. I'm not playing the SoundBite. I'm reading the clip. I wouldn't dismantle them. He said that I would change the focus and I would end
the corruption. Right now, seventy five percent of FDA's budget is coming from pharmaceutical companies. That is a perverse incentive. In NIH, that's National Institute of Health, right the scientists and officials at NIH who work on drug development incubate drugs for the pharmaceutical company get to collect lifetime royalties from those products. These are regulators, they're supposed to be looking for problems in those products. We have these agencies
that have become sock puppets for the industry. They're supposed to regulate, so they're not really interested in public health. The most profitable thing in America today is a sick child. Everybody's making money. The hospitals are making money, the pharmaceutical coming companies are making money, even the insurance companies are
make money. We need to end those perverse incentives. We need to get the care out of the FDA, out of the NIH, out of the DC, and make them function as they're supposed to function, which is to protect public health and to protect children's solve you know, I mean I agree in large part with what he's saying here.
I mean, there's definitely problems. See this is where this is where I would encourage more conservatives to I think sometimes we collectively as a group, if the solution isn't what we've determined to be the best solution, of the most free market solution or whatever we can, well, we can want to part company with someone who's really trying to push in the same general direction. And so I think, first of all, I mean, do we really need How many agencies do we need that have overlap? That's my
first question. Why do we have? I mean, there are so many things in our government that are doing largely the same things, or there's a lot of overlap that should be done away with. Now, I'm not here to call for the complete abolition of these things. I think maybe on a case by case basis. I mean, out of the Department of Education, I would have no problem if that went. I would have no problem if other
departments were looked at to be eliminated as well. But again, there are there are legitimate roles in the function of government, and we need to have enough for the government to do those roles. And so that that's that's a loaded statement because you know, there's a lot of factors that that play into that. They need to have They need to have the budget, which honestly, these folks never are lacking for money, so they need to have the budget.
They need to have a clear direction. They shouldn't be worried about DEI initiatives. They shouldn't be worried about trying to I mean, take your pick. I remember what was NASA's one of NASA's top priorities was wasn't there something along the lines of the number of a certain religious or ethnic group representation within NASA or something. I can't remember,
but I think there was. I think there was a focus on people of the Islamic faith in NASA or something, these sorts of things, whatever it is, the Christian faith, none of that sto. They have a job to do. Let's do the job. Let's define it. Let's stay on task. Let's not start meandering and having what is referred to as mission drift. Let's stay on task. And if we stay on task, you know what, we can probably cut at least some of the other agencies, maybe some of
them all together. Stay on tasks, stay focused, and if there are things, as RFK Junior is pointing out here, if there are incentives or if there are things that contribute to a conflict of interest for folks working in this space that needs to be cleaned up. One hundred percent right, one hundred percent right. These things need to
be these things need to be addressed. And so that's why that's why there's a new alignment because again our political realignment here, you've had people who I think have awakened in the past several years, and there's lots of reasons for that. One of them is Trump. You can't ignore politics. When Trump is president, he won't let that happen. He dominates the narrative. He finds a way to get his message out. I actually find this quite admirable and a quality that you want in a president of the
United States. Get it in front of people, make people know what's going on, make them have to decide what they're going to do about it. Right, can't ignore the problem. We've ignored problems for far too long in this country. That's why we're in the position that we're in. And so now now that people are id identifying the problems, there's some disagreements on the solution, but you know what, there's there's pushing in the right direction, general direction from
different groups of people. And that's why you have this political realignment, because you have people who historically thought that they were liberal Democrats, as RFK Junior did, who's now realizing, at least in particular areas, the government that I was promoting to do more and more has actually created more and more havoc and turmoil for the people that it's well purportedly designed to serve, and so I want to
fix it, right. That's where RFK comes from. I don't really care how you get to the point of realizing this government is bloated and out of control and sometimes sometimes much worse than that, sometimes completely the opposite. It's doing the opposite of what it should be doing, and we need to address those areas. This is This is common since one on one, and so I don't care from which side of the aisle people are coming from
as long as they come to that conclusion. Yes, the decisions and the details matter, the devil's and the details, I get all that, But man, the first step is to identify that there's a problem, to recognize it. Okay, now let's have a debate, a discussion on how to solve that problem. And so the lines are being drawn between people who want to fix the problem. And again, maybe we want to fix it in different ways, maybe we want to fix it using different strategies, different policies,
what have you. But there's people who want to fix it who are coming to the side of Trump and RFK Junior and Tulsa Gabbard. And then there are people who are status quo people. There are people who are chasing or pushing the false narrative that if we get Harris, Kamala Harris to be president of the United States, we can get back to the days where we just debated policy.
Whether or not the top marginal income rate rate will be forty one percent or thirty nine percent or thirty six percent, right, whether capital gains taxes will be fifteen percent or twenty percent or twenty two percent or whatever. That is beyond stupid, my friends, That is not at all what's going to happen. First of all, Kamala Harris, last time I checked, is in the current administration. Now
she's not the one at the helm. She's the vice president, she's not the president, although I don't know who the actual real president is because it's certainly not Joseph Robinett
Bribery either. So I would maintain or argue that Kamala is going to have just as much control and leverage in this particular administration as she would in her own now if that's the case, or at least a comparable amount, because again, there's someone else, or there's a group of someone else's that are making the decisions that are leading the Democrat Party, that include people like the Obamas in people that well, a lot of people wouldn't even know
that are making the actual decisions, but they're going to be doing the same thing in the Kamala Harris administration. My friends, Kamala has been chosen just like Joseph Robinette Bribery was chosen in twenty twenty when they made those calls, and they told Pete boot Edge Edge to drop out, when they told Amy Klobachar to drop out, when they tried to get Elizabeth Warren to drop out, when they did these things back in twenty twenty, it's the same
exact thing today. It's the same exact thing. The tactics had to be different because they didn't have a bunch of candidates running. But this time, instead of calling Pete boot Edge Edge and Amy Klobachar, the phone call was made to the Biden campaign and it got ugly right, you drop out. We do this the easy way or
the hard way. The easy way includes us praising you at the convention, talking about putting you on Mount Rushmore, talking about your legacy, talking about defending Hunter Biden to the best of our abilities from whatever might come in the well in the event that Republicans have the political
political will to actually pursue this. And the difficult way is we use the twenty fifth Amendment, we remove you from office, we declare you mentally incapable, we don't defend Hunter Biden, and you go down as one of the worst presidents in the history of this country, next to Jimmy Carter. And so Biden picked that. So it's the same exact thing. Kamala is still chosen and she's in. This is the swamp side. This is the candidate of
people who love big government. Whether they call themselves a Republican and they're Rhinos, whether they worked for Mitt Romney, whether they were a congressman from the state of Illinois who's now a Democrat Convention speaker like Adam Kinsinger, whether they were lieutenant governor in the state of Georgia telling us they were Republican and conservative like Jeff Duncan. These folks have aligned themselves on the side that is against
the liberty of the Amya people. It is pro big government. This is not a difficult decisions. The battle lines have been drawn and we are looking at two diametrically opposed worldviews. That's what this election is. This isn't about marginal tax rates. This is about whether or not you have the right to keep anything that you that you've earned. There are people literally in the Democrat Party who are calling for confiscatory rates on taxes capital gains. What about this unrealized gain?
Where's this going to lead the le I mean, folks, there is no amount of money that they could tax on a recurring, on a regular basis to pay for the government that they have created. It is impossible. If they taxed one hundred percent of everything that every billionaire had, they would not be able to I don't even think they could get us through a calendar year. I think I've seen this before. I think it's nine months. I'd
have to look, but they talk as though. So the reason that America can't function economic, you know, financially, why it's financial cards are out of order, so to speak, is because the wealthy won't pay their fair share. Well, first of all, the wealthy, if they're not paying their taxes and are breaking the law, then they would go to jail. That's not what's happening. They're taking advantage of tax breaks that these jokers and clowns put into the
tax code. So you can't hold someone accountable for following the law, even though you wish that they would pay more in taxes. So then they attack these people incessantly. And even if you took everything that they had, which I'm certainly not condoning, if you took everything they had, it still doesn't come close to remotely coming close to paying for the government that you, lovers, a big government,
have created. It is unsustainable. This problem that we face in this country is not we don't have enough tax revenues coming in. It's that we've got way way too much going out. It is way way too much on the American taxpayer on the American family. It's forcing both parents to work, even for those who want to stay home. It's or at least it's making the pressures very, very high, so that people have to they don't feel like they
have a choice or whatever. It is decimating families. It is forcing people to look more to the government, more to the schools to teach their kids about things things like maybe you're really a girl when you were born a boy. Nonsense, nonsense. The economic pressures that they have created have caused havoc in more ways than just affecting our pocket books. It affects our the ability the amount of time that we have and the amount of time that we have to focus on fixing the problems or
holding people accountable is certainly in that equation. So got more to say about this. But the battle lines have been drawn. You've got the lovers of big government against the lovers of liberty. And that's why you've got RFK and Trump and Tulsa Gabbard teaming up, and you've got all the rhinos and Comrade Kamala on the other side. This is not a complicated decision. More to say about this, and I've got some other things in the stack and
stuff I want to get to. But my friends, if you are tired of dry, irritated skin, that I think you should check out ofp Farms ofpfarms dot com. This is a family owned, god fearing goat farm that crafts all natural, small batched bath and body products and also their world famous gift sets. You can support American made products. You can ditch the woke brands. Woke brands that candidly are using the money that you give them, that I give them, so then support causes that we diametrically opposed.
Suppose they support causes and candidates that are on the wrong side of that line that I've just been talking about, the Kamala Harrises of the world, the Rhinos of the world, the other whoke candidates of the world. And you can get a product that you can actually you understand what the ingredients are. There's not a bunch of confusing big words in the names of the ingredients lists. You can feel the difference with these products at ofp farms ofp

Use my name Todd at checkout, and you are going to save fifteen percent off your order. That's ofpfarms dot com. Promo code Todd quick timeout is in order of my friends. We're going to continue this discussion. Get into some other things in the stack of stuff on the other side
of the break. Sit tight back here in just a minute, my friends, you know yesterday, tell a quick story. Yesterday I went boy, I get I on occasion go int. There's a local convenience store that I go into and as well, this may or may not be surprising to you, I don't know, but I've become friends with the people in there. And there's a guy that runs a store named Eon, and he's normally in there. So I walk
in and I normally say Eon, what's up? Man? And the guy that was in there yesterday turns around and it wasn't Eon, And I'm like, well, you're not Eon. And I'm like, what's your name, buddy? And I go up and give him a fist bump and he says, my name's Sam. I'm like Sam. Good to meet you, man. I normally talk to Eon, you know, but obviously you're not Ion. So good to meet you. So I go over,
get what I get? Come, oh, come back out. Now, keep in mind I've got remember yesterday I mentioned that I was wearing one of my Hillbilly Strong Gear shirts on. And I just mentioned this yesterday too, like these are conversation starters. And I had the one on that says weak men create hard times. And I didn't even I wasn't even thinking about it. And I heard him say weak men create hard times. He said that's true, and I said it is true, isn't it? And I said,
we're experiencing that today and he nodded in agreement. He took my payment and I left. I left the store. So, my friends, that sort of thing can happen with you as well. If you wear some apparel from Hillbillystronggear dot com Hillbilly Strong Gear dot Com, you can find conservative messages on shirts and hats. The shirts are nice and comfortable and quality. I love them. Nice and clean design reminds me of the God at Billboard campaign from twenty
some years ago, so I actually remember those. I remember those like it was yesterday there was one that said we need to talk and then it was signed or had a hash or a dashed god at the bottom. Brilliant campaign, by the way, same sort of thing with these shirts, is my point. My favorite one is the one. I like the one about weak men create hard times. But I think my favorite is I love my country, not my government. And that's kind of what we've been
talking about here today. But Hillbilly Strong gear dot com is where you can go for those T shirts hillbillystronggear dot com. So again we're talking about the realignment of politics here, the political realignment that we have. We have the rhinos, we have the lovers of big government, we've got the moderates, we've got the leftists who are lining up on one side, and we've got people who are candidly lovers of liberty, even if we have disagree on
some other things. Were to that point where the people who love liberty must unite to fight back against the stupidity that we have in this country today. Now let's look a little bit here. This is a wokespy dot com shifting gears. Just a tiny bit, but it's a continuation, I guess of what We've been talking about Kennedy Junior's endorsement. Excuse me, Trump endorsement sparks bad news for Kamala Harris. We talked a little bit about this yesterday, and there's
some more data that's come out. The political implications of Robert F. Kennedy Junior's decision to suspend his campaign and endorse Donald Trump will be scrutinized by historians for generations to come. Albeit a decision formally announced only three days after rumors started to circulate. Talk of RFK Junior's campaign event in Phoenix, Arizona, took the media spotlight away from
an otherwise lackluster Democratic national Convention. The Independence chances of winning were diminished to a level where Kennedy Kennedy junior presidency was all but off the cards by Friday. I mean it never was. I mean, this is this was never a viable option. This has always been a binary choice.
Which is why, by the way, when I see Mike Pence and I know he's from my state, and look, I I know some of the some of the best people I know are you know, connected with or no Pence in the campaign, I just I'm I'm I don't want to say disappointed, because I don't think I had any other expectation that this is where we would be with with Pence. But it's just it's really just I don't know the word for it. It's just I guess it's just I don't respect it, I guess is what
I'm getting down to here. But but it's also predictable. So he's not endorsing Trump, but he's not endorsing anybody else either. But that's that's Shenanigan's man. That's make believe world. Because there's going to be one of two people who are president, and you say I'm not going to support the one, then I hate to be the bearer of the bad news for you. Then you've automatically become the one that's on the side of the line that I've just been talking about this whole program, the side of
the line that Kamala Harris is on. There is no other line. When I was I remember this, I wasn't planning on saying this. I might have mentioned this before. I became a follower of Jesus in June of nineteen ninety three, so thirty one years ago. It was just the very end of June, right before the fourth of July,
nineteen ninety three. Fellowship of Christian Athletes football camp. By the way, that reminds me of another story that I'm not going to I can't tell at the moment, but suffice it to say that that's a wonderful organization, Fellowship of Christian Athletes. So I go to this camp having I wasn't a Christian at the time, and I heard the gospel presented and I became a follower of Jesus back in nineteen ninety three, and I remember, I don't know if it was that year's camp. I went a
couple of years to camp. I went a couple of years as a player student. As a player student athlete, I went a couple of years, well maybe this one year, one or two years as a huddle leader. So when I was in college, I actually was in charge of a group of you know, a group of boys or whatever as a as a huddle leader, I think was what they called them. And I remember that there was
a skit that they did. We had chapel. We had this little bitty chapel in the woods in a little town called I don't know if it's a town Marshall, Indiana. They don't own it anymore. FCA had to sell this. I did not like that. If I had, I told her, I was. If I had the money, I would have bought that. It was a special place to me. I don't know what it's being used for now, but it was beautiful place. It's near Turkey Run, which is a
state park here in Indiana. Anyway, So the they did skits, you know, they would preach, they would sing, and they would do skits for the teenagers at the camp. And there was a skit where one boy, a couple of well, there was a boy and he was having you know, the old analogy or the old visual where you've got the angel on one shoulder and the demon or whatever on the other. One's tempting you, the other one's trying to speak truth to you, and you're trying to decide
what to do. Well, this young boy was on stage listening, and you know, listening and wanting to do what the voice of God was telling him and then wanting to reject that voice of temptation. But he wasn't sure what to do, and he said, I'll sit here on the fence, to which the little demon figure said, that's great because I own the fence. There is no fence, my friends. That is the great lie here. That is the great this misconception, or the great deception that is being pushed
upon us by people like Pence. And I don't mean to call integrity into question here, but look, there is no fence. There is no If I'm not voting for one, if I don't support the one, then I'm on the other. There is no middle ground. Here is the point. We are in a extreme war of culture, extreme war of worldview, extreme world war of ideology. We have Comrade Kamala and we've got the lovers of liberty and the people who want government to be run with common sense on those
are the two different sides. And if you're not on the one, you're on the other. And we've gotten to that point in this country. All hands need to be on deck. And I dare to say, I hate to say it, but Mike Pence's hands are not on deck here. He's on the wrong side, wrong side of the aisle anyway. But this article points out some of the numbers here, So the net gains after RFK has dropped out. So this is complicated and It's hard to explain over podcast and radio because you kind of have to see the
chart in the numbers. But RFK was pulling in the swing states three four or five percent states like Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin. So they've since done a study that says, out of the people that were voting for RFK, here's the percentage that are going to Trump, and generally speaking, Trump is around fifty percent. Some states, he's over fifty percent, some states he's over sixty percent.
In fact, two thirds of the folks in Nevada who we're going to vote for RFK are supposedly going to be voting for Trump.
Now.
And then you look at Harris's numbers, She's under forty percent in every state except for Michigan, meaning she's going to get roughly thirty to forty percent, hex some cases twenty one percent. A lot of these are in the twenties. Nevada's sixteen percent, So meaning of the of the for example, the four percent of Kennedy voters in Nevada, sixty two thirds of them are going to go to Trump. Sixteen percent are good to go to Kamala, and eighteen percent
still haven't decided. So the bottom line is Trump's getting the lion's share of these voters that we're going to support RFK in most of the states. And it has a net impact, meaning when you factor all of that in and then you apply it to how it affects the polls in these key swing states. It helps Trump in Arizona by one point twenty five percent, in North Carolina by just over one percent, in Nevada by two percent, in Pennsylvania by a half percent, in Wisconsin by one
point two percent. So net gain for Trump because of all of this, again, political realignment. Quick time out, my friends, back in just a minute, my friends, So give more things I want to get into in the time we have remaining in this hour of the program. We'll get to those in just a minute, my friends. But if you smoke, if you vape, if you chew tobacco, neck naturals, it's here to help you crush your vice. So a couple of headlines I want to hit really quickly in the time that we have. Remaining Dems who forced Biden to drop out are outraged at our FK junior dropping out. It's quote different when we do it. This is what
it is. Front pagemag dot com. The dimparty establishment ordered Biden to drop out and nullified fourteen million votes while channing something about joy. That's a pretty good way of putting it. Now, the same machine is upset that OURFK junior dropped out and endorsed Trump. There's all sorts of muttering about a deal, as if candidates don't routinely drop
out as part of a deal. No kidding. They did the same thing in twenty twe same exact thing, and there were deals made when Kamala was coorinated here, like the deal that Obama negotiated back in twenty twenty to get the party to unify around Biden. There you go, what I just said. Whatever and whenever Hell's terms were used to get Biden to drop out and make a way for Kamala. There's a whole litany of candidates who are run in primaries purely to drop out and make
a deal. All of this, except the part about ousting a nominee as political business as usual. As usual. It's quote different when we do it end quote. That is to say that right and wrong are purely situational, and political norms are transactional. Completely insane things like the Biden coup are treated as completely normal, whereas completely normal things a candidate dropping out and transferring his support is portrayed
as abnormal for entirely political reasons. Well said, that's exactly right. Yeah, they're losing their minds. They're losing their minds, and they justify something that's crazy, they attack something that is perfectly normal in the election process. One other thing I want to tell you, and this is pertaining to gen Z. Again, this stuff is all in the stack. Of stuff zen gen z men, I can click the right link here. What are we doing? Now gen Z, that would be our son, be gen Z. By the way, I wanted to mention this today, Happy birthday, a happy thirteenth birthday I have. We have two teenagers now in
this family, our daughter's turning thirteen. Happy birthday. She is the joy. Talk about joy. She is the joy of my heart. She is something else. All the all the kids are special to me in their own in their own ways, but she is a source of absolute joy. I tell people she is the most joyful kid, most joyful person I know. Until she's not, and then it's a little bit it's a little bit different at that point. But happy birthday, Evelyn. So but we have some gen

Now listen, I don't this might surprise you, and I don't know. Some of you might like what I'm about to say, some of you might not like it. I don't know, but it's true. I don't I say this. Do I own anything maga. I've had people send me stuff maga. I've got a bottle of honey which is really well done. Make honey grade again. I think I'm trying to think
of what else, but I don't. Really, that's not really my personal style. I'm not that guy that's gonna wear I mean, I wear the Hillbilly Gill strong gear shirts. Because of the messages, I'm not really behind the candidates too much. All defend him in discussions. But anyway, my son's got a Maga had. But according to this article, gen Z is starting to turn its support more at least the men in gen Z from Harris to Trump. But I gotta go, my friends, time's up. SDG
