Attention. You're listening to the Tod Huff radio show, America's home for conservative not bitter Talk radio. The advised that the content of this program has been documented to prevent and even cure liberalism, and listening may cause you to lean to the right. Here's your conservative but not bitter host, Todd Huff. All right, my friends, you have tuned in great decision on your part, by the way, tuned into America's home for conservative not bitter Talk.

I am your host, the ever so lovable, very conservative not bitter host of this program, Todd Huff. You can email me should you want to be part of today's conversation Todd at Todd huffshow dot com. You can all also, of course, connect with us by texts. That's right, you can text directly three one seven two one zero twenty eight thirty three one seven two one zero two eight three zero. Just be advised that message and data

rates may apply. I wanted to start here really quickly, really quickly today, and only because you know, for those of you that have listened for some time, you know that the greatest influence on this program, the greatest uh the person who had the greatest influence on me as I now do. This program is the late great Rush Limbaugh. And I know many of you in this audience love Rush. Some of you may not have heard Rush, some of you might not have liked Rush. He was the best at what

he did. Everyone else was playing for what I considered a distant second place. He used to he used to say another, Well, he would say, let's just for an example here, say he was telling someone what was developing in Washington, DC, or on some international issue or whatever. If it turned out that he was correct, if it turned out that what he was telling people was what actually was happening, he would say, see, I told you so. In fact, I think that was the name of

one of his two books. I think the first one was The Way Things Ought to Be, or maybe the second one. One of them was the Way Things Ought to Be. The other one was CI Told You So. Of course, he also came out with the Rush Revere book series of books for children and so forth. Anyway, I say all that just simply simply to say in last week's column. Last week's column, I wrote about something that I well, I said that Americans. I'm doing a series this week.

By the way, it's on pause doing something slightly different. But we've been doing a series in the column, which you can get for free at the website todtepshow dot com. But I was writing about what I call common ground, and I think I think that Americans the average rank and file American, with of course some exceptions, but I'm talking the average American, the average Republican, the average independent, the average Democrat. I'm talking rank and

file. I'm not talking radical leftist. I would even throw liberal in this in the group, the average liberal. There are things that I think there's a lot more commonality. And this this goes against the grain. You talk

about, going against conventional wisdom. I think that there is a lot of things that Americas would agree on. I do again, notwithstanding the radicals along the fringe, the people who hate this country, the people who want to see it remade into something that's not as this nation was founded, something that's not capitalistic, but rather socialistic or communistic or whatever, something that doesn't respect

liberty. They want to rewrite the Bill of Rights so that it's not a list of rights that you have, but instead a list of things that the government is responsible to give to you, to give to the American people. Those people are on the fringe, those people I don't include in this group. But at the most, at the most, that's twenty percent. At the most, I think it's even much less than that. And so when I was writing about common ground, I think about the things that Americans actually

have a lot of common ground on. Now pause, let me say this quickly. Let me say quickly that there's a lot of common ground that people quickly give up because because of the polarization of political personalities. So for example, if you take away if you if you say to two people, you know, you're not allowed in this exercise to mention the name of a political

candidate. You're not allowed to mention a political party. You're not allowed to define yourself in political terms, saying you're a leftists, whether you're in the center, you're on the right, conservative, a libertarian, or a liberal, a radical leftist, whatever. Not allowed to do any of that. You're just allowed to talk about the issue. Talk about the issue, not scream over each other. Just listen, right, So, none of none of Trump said, Biden said, And I'm not saying these things are not

important. I'm just saying, for the sake of this exercise, you sit two people down. I've done by the way I've done this, and I'm going to share a story with you as I think about this. But so and maybe you have two but you sit down and go through the issue and you find out that, you know what, we don't have as much disagreement

on these issues as I thought we did. That's why when you hear me say on this program boldly with confidence, eighty percent of Americans agree with eighty percent of the things I say on this program, I believe that to be true. Is there a little bit of hyperbolean I don't know, just the way that we go about it, drama, Yeah, just a little bit,

just to make it a little bit more entertaining. But the point I believe that, though I'm not saying I'm I disagree with my statement, eighty percent of this country agrees with eighty percent of the things that we say on this program. I believe that. And in this series Common Ground, which again you can go and read on the website. You can go to todd have Show dot com slash column and you can read them, or you can sign up to get the new ones which come out every Wednesday, which of

course today is Wednesday. But anyhow, this series, and I should say this week's columns a little bit different. But this series that we are doing is talking about this common ground. And last week I wrote that there is common ground on the support of Israel. Now, some of you might say, whoa, whoa, whoa, Wait a minute, I've seen aoc I've seen Rashida Talib Rashida. We played that this on this program. I said, it's a SoundBite from Rashida Talib that that was a little bit of a

misnomer because she was not interested in actually saying anything. The SoundBite was her being silent and not condemning Hamas doing atrocious things to Israeli babies. I played that for you sometime, I think it was last week. And so there's certainly the Rashida to Leves, there's certainly the elon Omars. There's certainly the Alexandria Acasio Cortes folks in Congress, the Iona Presley's, the radical leftist professors

at universities around this country. There are certainly students that have been indoctrinated to believe the godless, completely morally bankrupt, and depraved ideology of the radical left I'm not saying for a moment that those folks don't exist or that they aren't out there. I'm saying that the numbers of them, the numbers of them are inflated dramatically because they hold the levers of power, the levers of power.

They hold these positions in the bureaucratic state. I call these the seven pillars of propaganda in the government, the bureaucratic state, in the media, in big business, right, the big businesses that force you to get vaccinated, the big businesses, the big businesses that push the woke agenda, the big businesses that talk about things like DEI and ESG scores and all this sort of stuff. We've got the media that's deceptive, We've got entertainment that's deceptive.

And there's seven of these and they have they the radical left hold prominent positions in these particular areas of culture, of government, of society, whatever. So so the voice is magnified. And I said, so when you see these protests that are pro Palestinian, like, look, I don't have a problem with someone being for the innocent people or the the everyday citizens that

are Palestinian. I have a problem with people who are pro who use the cover of pro Palestinian to really be anti Israel, anti Jewish state, wanting the annihilation of the Jewish state, wanting to somehow morally equivocate between the positions taken by Hamas and the actions taken by the Israeli government. This is as clear as day. This, by the way, is good versus evil. Israel versus Hamas is good versus evil. It's Israel's not perfect, she never

has been, she never will be. The United States isn't perfect, she never has been, she never will be. Hamas is absolutely evil. The idea of them even being discussed in the realm of perfection. They don't even try for that. They are an evil, terroristic organization. And so I wrote last week that most Americans agree that most Americans agree, and I admitted that, hey, it's not as many that should agree with this. Of course, of course, the truth is one hundred percent of Americans should agree

one hundred percent with the things I'm saying on this program every day. But that's another story for another day. That being said, most Americans support Israel, and they side with Israel against Hamas. And I think this was a parent when we talked about it last week when I wrote about it last week, But there's been a poll that's been conducted since then. And I even

said, because the polls. So there was a poll that I cited last week, and I'm going off of memory here, I believe it said fifty fifty four percent of Americans were pro Israel, so to speak, and then it added that thirty one percent of Americans were on the Palestinian side of the of the argument, which I know, this gets convoluted because you've got Palestinians and then you've got Hamas and you got the leadership, and it's I know

that there's layers to this, and in that respect there is some nuance. What do you really mean? But I'm talking about the positions of the governing authorities, the people that are making the decisions, that are that are actually taking action. Hamas is terroristic. Israel is trying to ensure peace, and when people wage war against her, they are prepared, rightfully so to go in and to eradicate those who are helpment on perpetrating evil against Israel and her

citizens. And people see this, and so the numbers last week, and I said, I said, if they were to take a poll today. Last week, these numbers would be higher than fifty four percent. In fact, I think I even use the term. You have to listen, go back and listen or read that. I don't know if I think I may have put in the column, but if you read or listen, I think I mentioned seventy percent plus. Here we go American support. This is Washington

Freebeacon. American support for Israel has skyrocketed in this in the week since Hamas slaughtered. That's right, slaughtered is the correct word. Washington Free Beacon fifteen hundred Israeli's in an unprecedented assault on the Jewish state, according to a poll. Now this poll, This poll was let's see what is this poll? National likely voter sample of eight hundred interviews were conducted online October eleventh through the

thirteenth of this year. This is the Senate Opportunity Fund National polling data. Nearly seventy percent of those surveyed. Seven zero of those surveyed from October eleventh to the thirteenth said they support Israel in its latest conflict with Hamas. According to a poll conducted by the Senate Portunity Fund, a conservative it's a conservative organization. It's nonprofit, and they provided that to the Washington Free Beacon.

This includes sixty two percent, sixty two percent of self described liberals and seventy seven percent of those who say they are conservative. So seventy seven percent of conservatives sixty two percent of liberals agree side with Israel. This is a good, good thing. This is a good good thing. We are not I'm telling you, I know that we are going through some incredibly perilous times.

I know that I am not disputing that for a second. I think we have to differentiate between how our politicians, how our politicians, how the seven pillars of propaganda seek to divide and conqueress, to pit one group of people against another by doing any number of things, by making it about physical identity, by making it about you know, including names, and bringing in Trump and Biden. And I'm not saying that there's not a time for that.

I'm not saying that. What I'm saying is, if our goal is to persuade people, why don't we approach this in a way that is most persuasive and then bringing in names of candidates and identifying ourselves, making sure that people know, well, this is the conservative solution, or this is that or whatever, instead of just focusing on the actual conversation, the rationale, the thinking beside or excuse me behind why something is either good or not good,

or helpful or not helpful. Those things have a tremendous impact on actually moving the needle. Something else that has a lot of impact on moving the needle is when we can see, right with our own eyes, right before our very eyes, abject evil, abject depravity, which we've seen in the past week or so since Israel was attacked by terrorists in Hamas. So with everything going on in the world today, and I know it's been heavy. It's been heavy for the past I mean a long time, right, it's been

heavy stuff. And I have conversations with myself, what do we talk about today self? Because this is important, that's important. But I think one of the things that we have to keep in mind is that there is an effect that happens, a psychological effect. Some people don't want to hear any more news is turn it off. I don't want to hear about it. I don't want to see any more gruesome brutality. I don't want to hear

about the political divisions. I just want to ignore everything and that's not a solution either, and so but we have to we have to maintain we have to maintain a healthy perspective and to address the things that need to be addressed, recognize the evil that does exist, recognize that we are truly in perilous times, while also recognizing that maybe, just maybe, my friends, Americans are not as far off on these core issues as the politicians would have us

to think. So that being said, I'm taking a break, quick time out, my friends. You've tuned in here to listen to conservative not better talk. As I said earlier, what a decision you've made this morning. Patch yourself on the back. Be careful though as you do that, because of course, listening to this program may cause you to lean to the right.

Back in a minute, Welcome back, my Friendstownhall dot com. Here DEM's wonder Democrats wonder if they need to reevaluate their position on the Israeli Hamas war. Written by Matt Vespa a couple of days ago, this would have

been I guess Monday. He is referencing an article in Politico. I want to scroll down here to the part of the article in Politico that illustrates what we've been talking about There is a lot more agreement, a lot more solidarity, if I may say that, behind the notion of supporting Israel in this country than in having some division over whether or not we are supporting the terrorist in Hamas. Fortunately good news. I mean this should this should be a

blowaway. I mean, this should be this should be something that I mean again and in all serious this should be one hundred percent. This is this is that black and white. To me, it is but these politicians know this. The radicals, however, the radicals who are protesting, the radicals in Congress who refuse to condemn things, the rat things, the radicals in Congress who, by the way, are calling for a cease fire, which, on one level, for someone who's not paying attention, sounds like that

sounds like a great idea. Let's just let's just everybody stop fighting, sounds like a great idea. The problem is the problem is this battle. The ceasefires are for people who follow rules, right. Ceasefires are for people who actually are trying to achieve peace. But unfortunately, when the battle lines have been drawn, my friends, the only way to achieve peace after you'll nation has been invaded, people burned alive, shot innocent people, women, raped,

babies, murdered. The only way, the only way to get to peace. And even then, I don't know the the battle is being waged, right, the battle is being waged. So the the the Hamas terrorists have gone in and they you know, they struck their blow. Now they've returned back to the tunnels, hiding like cowards under the street and so forth, not wanting to face Israel head on. And I don't blame them, but they're the ones that started this, so apparently they do want to have

the fight. They just don't want to have it in fair terms. So it's like it's like if you had a brother or sister growing up, probably a brother who maybe would you know, smack you on the back of the head, you know, get some cheap shots in, and then when you got big enough to retaliate, you got brother down on the ground or whatever. Time out, time out. It's not fair, all right, peace, Let me shake on it right now. They want to quit until the

next time, the next time they walk by. A slap to the back of the head. Now that just slaps on the back of the head. We're talking about legitimate, absolute acts of a Boorn's evil committed by these Amas terrorists. And so now people like AOC calling for a ceasefire, stop fighting back, don't go out. That's really what she's saying. And the other people like her that are in this group, don't go after them. Don't go after them to stop them from do it again, from doing it again.

Just let's sit down and talk. There is no folks, there is no talking with someone who's starting point is you have to be dead. I don't know how else to states to state this. If someone is the starting point of the negotiation is the destruction of the person across the table from them in said negotiation, there is no way to negotiate. And the only way to achieve peace ultimately is to have victory. And so and so people know this, Even people on the Democrat side of the ale, the radical leftists

don't know this. They don't care about this. They have been convinced that Israel is evil. A lot of these folks simply hate God. A lot of these folks want nothing to do with the nation that dare say that they are the children, the children of God, that they've been called by God. Then they don't want anything to do with that they would dislike to see them wiped off the face of the planet. Reprehensible, sick, twisted evil,

of course. But the politicians have elections to win, no matter how much, no matter how much a funny business might be going on on election day or in well, pulling boots and tabulating the vote tabulations and the votes that are legitimate and all that stuff, whatever's going on with election integrity, it's going to be hard to pull something off if well, the further, let's say, the more that people are in favor of supporting Republican ideas,

whatever amount of fraud is required allegedly on the left to balance that out or to tip the results in another direction. At some point it just becomes too much to accomplish in whatever degree that this may or may not be happening anyway, But these politicians know, the politicians know that they've got to distance themselves from the extremists. And so just listen to this piece, a couple of

pieces, or what I want to say, excerpts. Then I'm gonna read here from the political article a pro Palestinian rally in Times Square, endorsed by the City Chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America ensnared prominent party officials excuse me, party members amid widespread condemnation of the event. Governor Kathy Hochel this is, of course the state of New York and other leading Democrats blasted the rally

as a borrent and morally repugnant. These are Democrats attacking the radical left now and it continues. Drew a dividing line with far left members of the party, including New York reps Alexandria Occasio Cortez and Jamal Bowman, who, of course is still trying to figure out how to open a door somewhere he thinks involves fire alarms. Those two denounced the attacks and called for yes, this ceasefire that I just mentioned, but didn't take a stand on the rally.

Here's another excerpt. Mainstream Democrats were quick to call call out anything less than unequivocal support for Israel. The nyc DSA, that's the New York City Democratic Socialists of America is revealing itself for what it truly is, an anti Semitic stain on the soul of America's largest city. BRONX representative Richie Torres wrote on X formerly known as Twitter, there is he continues a special place in hell

for those who glorify the cold blooded murder of civilian and children. The squad members, which includes members of the Democratic Socialists and who have long supported Palestinians, were knocked by Republicans and some members of their party for no date for not noting Israel's right to defend herself against attacks. The point is is that this forts delay and I think that this is a good news. This is a silver lining in spite of all of the evil, wickedness, terror,

and so forth that is associated with this nonsense. And of course, the world is still on fire. We still got open borders, We've still got an administration that is that can't I want to talk about this next. How can the only people that save people Americans trapped in Israel? How can they only be Republican members of Congress and now a Republican governor from the state of Florida. What in the world is the administration doing? What in the world

is our federal government doing? What? An absolute disaster? Meanwhile, and they want to charge when they do help get Americans out of Israel. They got to pay, They have to pay for the extraction. Meanwhile, I'll share share that with you on the other side of the break. These stories have been piling up since the weekend. I just it's mind boggling to think that, well, our government just doesn't seem to care. It's reprehensible. But the good news is I think people are continuing to wake up. That

to me is the silver lining in all of this mess. But a timeouts in order, my friends sit tight back in just a minute. Welcome back, my friends. This is a story from over the weekend, actually published on Oz's birthday, which was Sunday. Won't comment anymore on that had a nice, nice birthday. We'll say that headline here, Republican congressman rescues ninety

six Americans from Israel as regional conflict persists. This is Representative Corey Mills from the state of Florida, Republican. He somehow gets ninety six stranded Americans who are in Israel on an aircraft and gets them back, gets them back to the United States. So I was amazed. We hadn't talked about this, but I was just kind of amazed by this because again, and I know, look, I understand the federal government is a massive, bloated mess.

I understand that, But how a representative can just say, hey, I'm just gonna fly some I'm gonna fly over there, We're gonna land, We're gonna find the Americans, get them on the jet and bring them home. It just seems so patently ridiculous and absurd that that is the most. And I have respected just I applaud what he's doing. I'm simply comparing and contrasting

this against what our government should be doing. Not only did he do it, we also now have a story that Governor Ronda Santis, the state of Florida, is apparently saving more Americans from who are trapped in Israel than Biden's government. So Ronda Santis late last week tweeted out the following Today, I signed an executive order authorizing rescue operations in Israel to bring Floridians home and transport

supplies to our allies. We will not leave our residents behind. Now that sounds like something that even if you are a leftist, a liberal, a Democrat, you could say, you know what, sounds like a good thing, because, after all, Americans seemingly understand the wickedness, the evil that is represented by hamas well. My friends, former crybaby Congressman Adam Kinsinger responds

to that tweet or retweets it or whatever he did. Here he says, you're a governor, you have no power here and then in brackets puts Irol condescension one oh one. Adam Kinsinger telling for those of you who don't know who he is, he's again discretion. Let me add disgraced former, disgraced cry baby representative from the People's Republic of Illinois, Adam Kinsinger. Make believe Republican He and Liz Cheney were the only two Republicans on the January sixth witch

hunt committee. He's telling DeSantis, you can't do that, dude. You're a governor. Understand your powers, Airol, I know everything. I'm so much smarter than you. You're an idiot conservative, right, that's the that's the tone. Well. I wonder, mister Kinsinger, between the tears that you will undoubtedly cry crocodile tears about something here, undoubtedly in any time now.

I wonder if you've seen the video of Ron DeSantis, Governor DeSantis and his wife Casey welcoming the two hundred and seventy American passengers that included ninety one kids that were flown in from Israel to the United States here in the past, When did this happen? This was? This was I guess Sunday as well. Did you see that, mister Kinsinger. I'm wondering if there's a tweet about it. I'll hold my breath. I'll hold my breath as I

await the wow. I'm really sorry for miss uh Well underestimating what you were able to pull off. I mean, by the way, mister Kinsinger, if a sitting Republican member of Congress can do this on his own, why can't a sitting governor do it as well? And the better question is why can't a sitting president do it? How many people have you saved from the mess in Israel? Mister Kensinger? Are you just ridiculing those who are going

about the work of actually making a difference? You know, there's an old Chinese proverb that says, man who says it can't be done should not interfere with man doing it. Mister Kensinger, sit down. This is a disgrace, this is embarrassing. Your condescension stinks from a country mile away. Thank goodness for people like DeSantis. Thank goodness for people like representatives who are saving Americans from this mess versus just I don't know, pounding their chest and trying

to look like the smartest guy in the room. Again, congratulations and thank you to Corey Mills, to Ron DeSantis, to Kensinger. I say, maybe take some lessons from real leadership and from real men. Quick time out. You're listening to conservative not better talk. I'm your host, Tod Huff Back in just a minute. Welcome back, my friends. So you know there's tomorrow we're going to talk about this speaker, Speaker of the House, and I think there's a lot of lessons, a lot of things that we

can dig into with this. But today I just wanted to spend time going through some of these things that I really think, I really think that we should take note of, because I know that it's heavy, and I know for some of you, as I alluded to earlier today, it's a lot right, It can be exhausting, you know, I got to worry about Israel and Hamas and terrorism in Iran and well China invade Taiwan, United States military being led by Joseph Robbin, that Biden is a terribly terrifying situation.

I've got the hunter Biden's scandal. I've got Biden and you. I got Ukraine, I got that whole mess, the conflict, the well, all the stuff happening with with money. I've got tensions around the world. I've got an open border here. I've got terrorists that have been caught at the border, terrorists who have undoubtedly come into this country. We still have inflation

problems. While it's certainly come down into much more manageable levels, we have a nation that has been financially mismanaged for decades, and there's a lot a lot of things going on. We got we're still dealing with the con sequences of what we allowed our government to do during the COVID pandemic. We've got the election coming up next year. We've got Trump, who's been basically silence.

Got You've got the leader of the opposition party that is being prosecuted by a government, by a government that is run by people that do not want the likes of President Trump in office, again using their authority to target someone who is the front runner for the Republican Party, the party of opposition, the party that actually can the only hope politically to save this nation. And I'm not saying that there's not anyone who's a libertarian out there that or anything

like that, an independent that can't help things. But when you look at the realities, Republicans and Democrats run this country. The Democrats have sold their soul, have sold their soul, and well the elected officials have Republicans some have sold their soul. There's some that I think still haven't. So the only hope of saving this nation politically, and it's look, that's just one out element. It's an important element, but nonetheless it lies with the Republican

Republican Party. So there's all this trunks that Trump's been given a gag order he can't speak on his political prosecution. That's certainly one perspective. Others are saying, oh, no, he's trying to threaten the judge. He's trying to tell his supporters to go out there and to cause harm and damage and everything else. Of course, that that's not what's happened. That isn't what's

happening. That hasn't been what has happened historically. Well, Todd, he caused the insurrection in January of two thousand and one, Well did he not say for his supporters to go to peacefully and patriotically protests at the Capitol. None of this stuff adds up. It doesn't matter. They're blinded with rage. My point is we have lots of great problems. We have people who have abdicated their responsibility to engage in free thought. They've completely kicked that can

down the road. They have passed that responsibility over to the media, over to the Democrat Party or some political parties, some talking head to do their thinking for them, and they've basically checked out. And it's a I understand in another sense, because it's a lot to manage. It's a lot to manage. And I appreciate those of you who tune in here because we try to help navigate some of this stuff. The difference is, I know that

you're free thinkers. I know that you'll make up your mind on your own. Other folks, especially the government, wants a bunch of mind numb yes men and yes women out there doing whatever they tell them to do, saying whatever they want them to say, thinking whatever they want them to think. Quick time out, my friends, you're listening here to conservative've not better talk. I'm your host. Hot huff back in a minute, Welcome back,
