Episode description

Donald Trump will ultimately be on trial because he believed there were anomalies with the 2020 election. Taxpayer dollars are being spent on indicting him because he’s questioning the results of an election. Hollywood questioned the 2016 election in a television ad. Attention. You're listening to the Todd Huff radio show, America's home for conservative not bitter Talk radio. Be advised. The content of this program has been documented to prevent and even cure liberalism, and listening may cause you to lead to the right. Here's your conservative but not bitter host, Todd Huff. That is right, my friends, you have tuned in to America's home for conservative not bitter talk. I am your host, Todd Huff. You can

join today's discussion by email Todd at Todd Huff show dot com. You can join by text three one seven two one zero twenty eight thirty. Ask those questions, share those opinions. Always be sure to include the appropriate amount of adoration and praise, which is a lot more than many realize. Kidding, my friends, kidding, not kidding anyway, it's pleasure to be here today. You know today, well, I should say over the weekend, I had I don't know, I had some a little bit of time on Saturday,

and I was going through some things. Of course, Trump gets arrested and fingerprinted. There's the whole show that goes along with that. You've got Trump showing up with all sorts and he should By the way, I'm not saying he shouldn't. I'm just saying this is they wanted political theater. They're gonna get it. And so Trump shows up Fulton County Jail, does the

fingerprint routine, goes out, does the media appearances. I think he's on with Greg Kelly on Newsmax talking about really the deplorable conditions of the Fulton County Jail, which normally the left is upset with. That's something I will say. This is something that I actually think that I can agree with. I think everybody should agree with this. No one, no one, well, I should say, and shouldn't say, no one, but no reasonable person. Once our prison systems or the jail to be a country club, but

we should not. We should not be cheering it on in the sense that we want it to be dangerous and dirty. I mean, it should be a place where, you know, it should not be designed to be I don't know, like the Shawshank Redemption or some such thing. It should I mean, it shouldn't be again a country club, but we shouldn't. They

love that Donald Trump had to go in there. That's the point. They suddenly didn't care about the well, just the way that prisoners or inmates, or people who were detained for questioning or anything, or were treated all They act like that's their number one concerned in many cases a lot of the time until it's Trump and then they won him. I mean, I feel like if they had lions, they would have wanted him to have to run through

the lion's den, run through the gauntlet. They love and there is something really wrong with the person who takes pleasure out of another person's pain and discomfort. That's not really what justice is about. I know some people that is what it's about. Really, it should be about what is the just consequence and then carrying it out with any sort without any sort of I guess joy.

I mean it's it's sad in a sense that people need to be although we all need to face some amount of judgment for the decisions that we've made. Thank goodness for the grace of God. But the left doesn't feel that way. The left is applauding. The left is happy. The left is overjoyed when they see Trump going into Fulton County Jail. They just loved this, They love it. They are consumed by this man. They cannot not think about him. It is impossibility. It's like every morning, you know,

the old saying, try not to think of a pink elephant. They tell themselves, I don't want to think about Trump today. I don't want to think about Trump today. I don't want to think about Trump today. And by virtue of asking that question or I guess making that statement five thousand times a minute, they're thinking about Trump. He lives in their heads, rent free for multiple reasons. Number one, he's not them. Number two, he beat them. Number three, he stands in direct opposition to what

they want. Government to them is their holy shrine. Government is their religion. And Trump comes in president of course when he was president, that's that's like the high priest, that's like your church's pastor. They can't have someone who doesn't adhere to the religious rules and says ceremonies and performs the religious rites. Of these radical godless leftists in there. They don't want that, they can't stomach that. They need him to suffer, they need him to show

pain, they need him to be in agony. It's a six sixth place to be. But anyway, so there was all that part of the equation. Then of course we knew this was coming. In fact, I told I told the good bad the good bad guy was off Friday. I don't know why he thinks he needs a day off, but he was off on

Friday. But I did email him sometime. It might have been Friday, it might have been late Thursday night, I can't remember, after the mug shot had been released, and I said, look, you know, I am very tempted to do some sort of a shirt with the mug shot, because the mug shot, by the way, is perfect, is it not. I mean, the mug shot is perfect. You know that Trump planned this, They thought through this, they decided what they wanted to do,

and he goes in there and he executes it flawlessly. I mean it is. It is symbolically, I said, and you knew this. You didn't need me to say this. We all knew this. That they are going to regret this. They are going to regret this massively. And I would maintain that they already are. So Trump starts selling T shirts, selling T shirts. He also starts selling I believe I saw in emails signed signed mug shots. I think I've seen them also selling shot glasses. I think they

were calling them mug shot glasses. I believe the little you know, shot glass with his with the little artwork of the mug shot on there. I think I had seen what do I want to say the number because I don't want to get this wrong, but I'm pretty sure it was seven seven million dollars is what they had raised since since these shenanigans took place Thursday, I

guess was it Thursday evening? Anyway? So that whole thing, that whole thing is in many ways exactly what we knew it would be, and it's going to continue to be and outshined the Republican debate, right, I mean people, by the way, I see that according to some surveys Republicans who watched the debate, I think that Ron de Santis won and Ramaswamy finished second. It was something like twenty nine percent said the Santis won, twenty six

percent thought Ramaswamy won. That. So, and I know there's some concern about Ramaswamy, and I you know, we can get to that in due course. There's concern out there about the Santists, and I'll say this, there should we should we should be very skeptical of anyone who's trying to attain a position of leadership within the Republican Party, especially given how much we've been deceived by the jokers and the clowns and the pretenders and the whimps over the

years. And some folks are going to have personal problems with each individual and so forth, and we should pay attention to these things. But I'm not gonna That's not something I'm gonna talk about now, because this is what I want to talk about today is the Trumps, the fallout, the consequences and all that, what happens next, but in particular, really what I want to do now that he's been arrested for these charges in Fulton County, Georgia,

we realize that he's effectively on trial in Fulton County, Georgia. All these things, my friends, are connected to one another. Right, you go back to the earliest days of the Trump campaign, the earliest days of the Trump administration. Every single thing, every single thing that they have brought at this man is just a continuation of the previous thing. So the beginning of this whole thing, well, I suppose part of this is perspective,

where you believe the beginning actually is. But once they began to take this guy seriously. They wanted to find a way to discredit him, to damage him, to do what they normally do, to silence him, to get him to back off, to take it easy, to not go as right wing as they might say that. Other presidents and other politicians are not willing to go because it doesn't Most people that are that have the media assault.

Most people that have the attacks from the Democrat Party and sometimes even the Republican Party, or at least the lack of defense from the Republican Party capitulate give up, throw their hands in the air and say this isn't worth it. I'm willing to fight a little bit, but man, I cannot have my entire you know, every skeleton in my closet on the verge of being released to the public. I can't be under personal assault. This has a psychological

impact on me. That's not most people think. Not Trump. We've been through this a lot, so I don't want to go through this in detail again. But this is where he's just simply different. In fact, I would I almost believe that he's energized by this whole thing. I almost think that this lights his fire, and they the media They the Democrat Party, They the radical left, the power brokers that are pulling the strings behind the curtains, behind the scenes. They are the ones. They don't know how

to deal with him, They really don't. And so I have seen from the beginning these indictments as acts of desperation. That's what I see as being. These are acts of desperation. And of course those acts of desperation have catapulted some Republicans into running for office who have no business running against Trump in this primary because they think they're they're opportunists. And again I understand that to a point. I think there's a part of me that says that in a

way that's not happy with some of these folks. Although they're perfectly free to run, I just think that they lack a true understanding and respect and concern for the real problem here, because I don't think most of those candidates have the intestinal fortitude to take the steps and actions needed to do the things required

to save this nation, to save this Republic. And so so all these things come to a head well through these indictments, but they can be traced back again to the early days, early stages, right the Trump's campaign was spied on. There was a Russian dossier, Golden Golden Showers junk. Then there was the Stormy dan All this stuff is tied together, Stormy Daniels, And I'm not look like going I'm just saying these things are being used to,

you know, to be weaponized against him, to stop him. And at the time he was president, well before he was president, it was designed to stop him from becoming president, before he was the nominee. It was used to stop him from becoming the nominee. When he's president, it was designed to stop his policies or to stop him from running again, to get him defeated in twenty twenty impeachment one, impeachment two right January sixth,

These things are all tied together. They're all tied together. And if you look at they're all tied some way shape manner reformed, back to Russia, back to Ukraine. And then you look at who really has the uk Ukraine

problem. You get other politicians up to and including the Biden family. Now you see a Ukraine Russia war, which by the way, never happened on Trump's watch, no matter how much the Democrat Party, no matter how much the media, no matter how much the radical leftists want to lay that war at the feet of Donald Trump. That didn't happen on his watch. It happened on Joseph Robinette Biden's watch, and he may not have even known it. By the way, did you see the video of Biden in front of

the white board telling the American people how biden Omics was working out. I mean, it's just it's embarrassing. It's a graphic that they put on a whiteboard and he's putting check marks. All the guy does in the video, and I guess kudos to the team for realizing his capabilities. All he did in the video was read from a teleprompter and put checks and they weren't even

good checks. It looked kind of awkward how he was making the check marks, but check marks in the boxes highlighting just how wonderful Bidenomics really has been. And just think about that. That's their campaign right now. Bidenomics is working great. Everything else is so terrible and atrocious in this country that they believe the way to get a positive spin on his campaign is to tout his economic policies. You've got to be kidding me anyway. So that's going on

out there as well. But this has been one continual assault on President Trump. After the crying, right after the crying stopped, after the adult coloring books ran out of pages, after the service dog requests were no longer able to be fulfilled, adult plato and everything else that was given to jokers and clowns who could not deal with Trump being president. They screamed at the universe,

ah whenever Trump was president. After all that stuff stopped, they realized, we've been to have a strategy, and this is one continual strategy. So, with that being said, Trump is ultimately on trial in Georgia, in in DC because of his desire, his willingness, his belief that there was something wrong with the twenty twenty election, with the results. There were anomalies, there were things that did not add up and make sense, and

so he's ultimately on trial for questioning the results of an election. That's basically what is happening here. He's being charged as a result of challenging those election results, for questioning those election results by trying to get Mike Pence to put pressure on the states to confirm and verify their election results. They say, the media, the Democrat Party, even some Republican presidential candidates who are whimps

and should never be allowed within a country mile of the Oval office. Again, that would include Mike Pence as well, and so they have the battle lines have been drawn, and so that is what this is ultimately about. So with that being said, there is something that I stumbled across over the weekend and I had seen this, and I'm guessing you had seen it as well, And I'm gonna play this when we get back from this first time

out. I'm gonna play this commercial that aired in the days after the twenty sixteen election, but before the electors actually cast their ballots for president what the time, candidate Donald Trump. There was a campaign. There was a campaign designed well i'll tell you about it on the other side of the break, but there was a campaign designed to stop electors from casting their ballots for Trump,

so that's someone else could choose the president, the electoral College. So I want to get into this because remember, we have a guy that's now been handcuffed, who has been fingerprinting, who has had his mug shot taken, and yes, all those things have to some degree, maybe in large degree, backfired in their faces. But nonetheless they're trying to weaponize this situation and the Department of Justice against President Trump. So but I want to play

this campaign. I want to play this ad that ran. It's a longer ad, it's two and a half minutes, and you're gonna recognize some of these voices, a lot of Hollywood elites and so forth. But I want to take you back in time, since we've kind of done that a little bit already this morning, I want to do that, talk about this compare and contrast and then really try to wrap our heads around the hypocrisy, the double standard, the faux outrage, the politicization of the Department of Justice,

the government against an American citizen. My friend, So time out is in order. You're listening here to conservative not bitter talk. Great decision on your part today. Thanks for listening back here in just a minute. Welcome back, my friends. So we're sharing this video. This is an old commercial back in ad campaign back in two thousand and sixteen. This would have been

after the election. This would be after all the folks you hear in this ad dried their tears, ran out of service, dogs, all that stuff, adult coloring books, No more of those to be purchased, and they realized that they could try to try to get electors who were supposed to be voting for Trump to vote not for Trump. They said, hey, we don't want you to vote for I'm not asking you to vote for Hillary. Just don't give Trump enough electoral votes. They had to get thirty seven or

thirty eight, I forget the number of people to defect. Remember now, remember this is a whole campaign. This was an ad campaign. This aired on There was a third This is the this is the full enchilada. This is the two minute and twenty six second stupid ad. But there I believe, well, I know there was. There was a thirty second ad that was also that was on television, and I remember these at the time, this would have been maybe end of November, beginning of December, mid December

the latest, two thousand and sixteen. I believe the name of the campaign or the organization was called Unite for America. There was a hashtag. There was a hashtag that went along with this. These folks were trying to steal the election. According to what fanny Pack tell you, she gives she does do the fanny Pack's a bad name. Oz is right about that. But this is again what he what he Trump has been indicted for. There was an entire campaign devoted to this very thing. Now, these are not a

list or celebrities. I don't even know the A list or celebrities. I have to ask oz oz who are these people? I knew a couple. I recognized Martin Sheen. I want to say short, but it was Martin Sheen, Charlie Sheen's dad. Look at that, look at that. See I'm not too bad. Then there was Deborah Messing who was on there, and I recognized maybe another person, but I didn't know their name anyway. I recognized two other people because one of them was a guest on the office.

He was kind of like Michael Scott Pam was trying to get a job in Philadelphia. And I forget the guy's name. If you some of you know it, you're probably yelling it at me. I don't know what his name is, but he's on here. So they're not A list celebrities. They're not B list celebrities. I don't even know if they're sela. These may be like M list celebrities, but they're on here trying to get it's real dramatic music. It's real dramatic lines trying to get people. They're citing

the Constitution, they're reading from the Federalist papers. They're talking about Alexander Hamilton. That's what someone says in this ad. Suddenly, remember remember this was twenty sixteen. They acted like the electoral college was good back then. Now they want to completely call for the abolition of the electoral college anyway, whatever it takes to win, they don't care. They don't care. They are without any sort of morality or compass. They just want to win whatever it

costs. And so if it means being dramatic and cranking it up to try to get an elector or two or thirty seven to not vote for Trump and sixteen, that would never be considered stealing or ineffect or inappropriately, well it was definitely ineffective, but inappropriately trying to interfere with a election, with an

election. So want you to listen to this, and as I'm ads is playing, just remember what they are openly calling for is what Trump is now in Well had his mug shot, mug shot taken for He's had his finger prets taken for this. He's been indicted four times, and at least multiple

more than one of those indictments is rooted. Is rooted in his response talking about the election of twenty twenty and his desire to see something done about what he viewed as questionable and perhaps even completely fraudulent and made up ballots, vote counts, and electors. So that being said, here is the ad Republican

members of the Electoral College. This message is for you. As you know, our founding fathers built the Electoral College to safeguard the American people from the dangers of a demagogue and to ensure that the presidency only goes to someone who is to an eminent degree, endowed with the requisite qualifications an eminent degree, someone who is highly qualified for the job. The Electoral College was created specifically

to prevent an unfit candidate from becoming president. There are five hundred and thirty eight members of the Electoral College. You and just thirty six other conscientious Republican electors can make a difference by voting your conscience on December nineteenth, and thereby shaping the future of our nation. I'm not asking you to vote for Hillary

Clinton. I'm not asking you to vote for Hillary Clinton. I'm not asking you to vote for Hillary Clinton. As you know, the Constitution gives electors the right to vote for any eligible person, So any eligible person, no matter which party they belong to, but it should certainly be someone consider especially competent, especially competent to serve as president of the United States of America.

By voting your conscience, you and other brave Republican electors can give the House of Representatives the option to select a qualify Wait a minute, did you hear that? He says by voting your conscience, you can then pass it off to the House of Representative And wait a minute, well stop, stop everything here. I thought, are these people in prison? Are these people in prison? I wouldn't know, because none of them are significant enough to me

to even catch my attention. But are they in prison? He's calling for electors to send the election to the House of Representatives. I'm going to back this up ten seconds here, I'm gonna play it again. Get through the rest of this and take a time out, But listen to this States of America. By voting your conscience, you and other brave Republican electors can give the House of Representatives the option to select a qualified candidate. For the presidency.

I stand with you. I stand with you. I stand with you. I stand with you in support and solidarity with conservatives, independents, and liberals and all citizens of the United States. The American people trust that your voice speaks for us all, and that you will make yourself heard through the constitutional responsibility granted to you by Alexander Hamilton himself. What is evident is that Donald Trump lacks more than the qualification should be president. He lacks the necessary

stability and clearly the respect for the constitution of our great nation. You have position, the authority and the opportunity to go down in the books as an American hero. America changed the course of history. And you have my respect. You have my respect. You have my respect for your patriots in service to the American people. Unite for America, Unite for America, Support the electors was the hashtag back in two thousand and sixteen. Boy, I'll give

you a moment here, take a break. You can grab a tissue and you can dry your eyes after the dramatic sad musica. Na, Na, I tell you what this is, pathetic stuff. Timeout is in order here, my friends. Remember though Trump's in prison, well, they want Trump to be in prison. He's been indicted, he's had the mug shot, he's been fingerprinted four times now, indicted. These jokers and clowns so long since abandoned any talk for respecting the Constitution. I think I don't know.

They're irrelevant in the entertainment industry, trying to deceive you on something, probably climate change. It's probably what you're talking about now. Timeout's in order to my friends, sit tight. By the way, my vast, vast team of attorneys has told me to remind you that listen to this program in fact cause you to lean to the right. So exercise extreme caution while operating heavy

machinery, driving a vehicle. Heck, even walking down the hall with a cup of coffee today, it could be carrying that coffee, by the way, and your tATu showmuck quick time out back in distavedit. Welcome back, my friends. Did you know? Did you know that this is the twentieth anniversary of my pillow? So Trump's back on Twitter. You may have seen this as well. He's I think his first tweet. Oh I tell you no again. I've shared

this with Oz, I've shared this with you. We are never we are never going to witness the political show that we are consuming today. Now. I look, we're playing for keeps. This is important stuff. This is not just something that I'm intellectually interested in. It's not something that just makes me want to grab the popcorn for though there are certainly times that I do want to grab the popcorn and watch this unfold. But my friends, the

stakes are high, the stakes are incredibly high. But we are never going to see someone who has as much acumen, experience, instinct for promotion, and just the ability to control the narrative as Donald J. Trump. And that's one of the things they fear about this guy. It's not just although it is just, it's not just that he's coming at it from a different perspective. It's not just that there are so many other corrupt players in the

system and he's not one of those that's come up through the ranks. They don't like that either. It's not just that his approach and style resonates with a huge portion of the American people. It's not just though it is that he can get people to go cast ballots for him that would not vote for anyone else. Although he can do that, they're afraid of the entire entire person and we are not going to see this again. And this is look, this is this is it for Trump right twenty twenty four, the stakes

could not be higher. I mean, there they have thrown everything in him. There is no there is no more restraint, if there ever was. The government thinks that it can get away with targeting him, using the Department of Justice go after him, meanwhile shielding their own from legitimate investigations. And so in one sense, I mean, this fine had to happen, my friends, this fight had to happen. I know for so many it's an

uncomfortable thing. But I tell you what would have been much more uncomfortable is the direction that this thing was headed on its own without someone willing to step in and really rock the boat, because this is not the right trajectory. That ad that I played, that campaign ad that I played, last segment, you heard all those actors talking about the Constitution, Alexander Hamilton and the

Federalist Papers. You couldn't see it. I was watching the video, but the video said it had it had you know, it was quoting the Federalist papers when Martin Sheen was talking in one of him as parts. Those people don't care about those things. In fact, they think the electoral college today, I can't say person by person because again I don't know who all those people even were. But but the people that follow that mentality, that that

ideology, that line of thinking. Today they want to see the abolition of the electoral college. But back in twenty sixteen, they were totally happy with begging electors to interfere with the election results and overturn the will of the American people. And I question why these folks are not all in prison, or at least one of them. Why are they not in prison. We all know the answer to this, That's the thing. We all know the answer

to this. You know. I think a lot of times people think, well, some people, you know, this information gets past them, And yeah, I think there's truth in that. I think some people are not having enough. Some people just are gullible, they're naive, And to a certain extent, I would say that we all were at some point, at least when we were younger or whatever, and so we can all relate to the idea that yeah, maybe we are maybe we are naive, maybe we

were naive, maybe we were really naive. But I don't think that's the main problem. That is a problem. I'm going to grant you that. But I think the biggest problem is that most of the time, most of the time, we know what needs to be done. Most of the time, our leaders are the people who are making decisions. I don't know if we want to call them our leaders, but you know what I mean, the people who are in positions of political power and authority. They know what

needs to be done. And what it typically comes down to is having the strength of character and the resolve to see it through. And my friends, many people don't have it. But I will say this. I will say this, I think it is within all of us. Sometimes we got to dig deep, and it's easier to dig deep when we see other people leading the charge. And so I know we got leaders in this group. And this isn't everybody. This may not even be to you, but that's why

some people need to see it from you. And if you wonder if I'm talking to you right now, I think that you, deep down know that I am. And that's why it's important. It's imperative that it's not just an intellectual exercise for you. If you've been feeling the urge to get involved, and I don't even care what that means specifically or looks like, you know, as I say these words, you know what I'm talking about in

your life? I don't even know, But I believe strongly enough in this and the importance of this that if you've been wrestling with running for school board, or maybe it's pulling your kids out of school and homeschooling. Maybe it's getting involved in writing a blog, maybe it's podcasting, Maybe it's doing some of the stuff that we're doing. Maybe it's starting something on your own.

I don't know. But if you, if you, if this is brought to mind as I'm saying these things, then I would think that that's a pretty strong indicator that it's time to take action. Right. The time for talking about it, the time for thinking about it is over. The chips are all down. We're playing for keeps here in twenty twenty four. I don't know if we can endure. I truly don't. I don't know if this nation can endure four more years of what we've been through, mask mandates

coming back. Potentially in some we've already seen that. Right in some places, it's time to get serious. It's time to get serious, it's time to get moving, take action. Start with where you are. I've got to take a time out, my friends. You're listening here to conservative not better talk. I'm your host, Todd Hff back in just a minute.

Welcome back to my friends. If you're looking for something that you can do, and boy, this is something I don't I hope does not come back, but it is coming back already that I encourage you to take the advice of Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladappo or la Depo. I don't know how to pronounce it again. I've only read his name, not heard it. He's an MD PhD. He tweeted this out on I guess it would have been Thursday afternoon in response to places beginning to reinstitute mask mandates. In fact,

Morris Brown College, which is in Atlanta. It's in Atlanta, right, let that sink in in Atlanta where Trump would maintain the election of twenty twenty was stolen from him. Morris Brown Kyle Atlanta, Georgia announced that it's going to bring back a mask mandate despite having are you ready for this? A grand total of zero cases of COVID reported on campus. So the Surgeon General for the state of Florida said, what do you call reimposing mask policies that

have been proven ineffective. He's right, by the way they have been or restarting lockdowns that are caused to cause that are known to cause harm, by the way they are known to cause great harm to the economy, to the mental health of people, increasing even things as terrible as suicides. You don't call it sanity, he writes. These terrible policies only work with your cooperation. Let me say that again for the people in the back. These terrible

policies only work with your cooperation. How about refusing to participate, my friends, This is absolutely required, absolutely necessary. This is about I mean, look at the timing.
