Sure to include the appropriate amounts of adoration and praise, which I must tell you is a lot more some days than you might imagine. Oh, I'm kidding, So I want to pick up this whole thing. I have been entertained. I guess I don't know the word here because it's it's this fire alarm incident. For those of you that missed yesterday's programmer that may not have been following this drama, I'll do a quick update, or you can
listen to yesterday's show the podcast. You can go and listen listen for free at todd up show dot com. But just a quick recap. Over the weekend, we had a what looked like an impending shutdown of the federal government that was averted at the last second. The House of Representatives came through with a bill funding the government for forty five or forty seven some such, just a couple of what couple of a month and a half, six weeks or
so. So they came through at the eleventh hour after they had told us that calamity and crisis was going to be dropped upon the American people. If our government was going to shut down everybody, there was going to be chaos and pandemonium and panic in the streets. I mean, it was gonna be the end of life as we know it. In fact, some people claiming that people were going to die and all kinds of stuff like this. I mean, in fact, one of these individuals was was Congressman Jamal Brown from
the state of New York talking about how dangerous this Republican shutdown was. So you would think, in a sane world, if you really believed that the impending shutdown, which at that point on Saturday was a mere hours away, hours away from happening, before the picture you painted of calamity, of a cataclysmic event that was going to wipe out the United States of America. This shutdown, for all we know, is worse than Trump's attempt to overthrow the
government in January of twenty twenty one. As they this is again their narrative, not mine, and so this is what they were basically proclaiming, predicting, stirring the pot over moving towards disastrous, just end of life, end of world political meltdown as we know it. And so you would think one would think that when the House of Representatives had finally found a way to get something out of the House. And listen, I'm not saying this is good
at this point. I'm just telling you what happened. I'm just telling you how from their vantage point, using their descriptors, using their language, using their manipulative maneuvers, and so forth. This is how they portray it.
So the House came through found a way to avert to avoid the government shutdown, and so they were preparing to vote on this when suddenly a representative named Jamal Brown, who is from the state of New York, was headed to the Capitol Hill one of the office buildings, the Cannon Office Building, and he walks in coming into the building, says, he gets confused. I guess in the in the excitement, in the just I don't know he was.
He was afraid that the world was going to end. I guess you know, for for many Christians, Christians you reference the Bible, the Book of Revelation and so forth when it comes to end times and prophecy in the return of Christ. But I guess, if you're a lover of government, your signs of the end of the world as we know it, your signs for end times are I guess, an impending government shutdown that you've painted, that you've painted as apocalyptic. So he's heading into the doors. He's going
through doors. You probably have seen the pictures. If you haven't, I guess he was leaving. He was leaving, I say, coming into he was actually leaving the Cannon Office Building in preparation I suppose for a vote over at the Capitol Building. So he's leaving and as you walk up to these doors, I mean, there are red signs galore. It says emergency excit only. I read some of this yesterday. Basically, I mean, it's got the crash bar, but it tells you what to do, big red
signs. And then immediately adjacent, immediately to the left of these double doors leaving the Cannon Building in Washington, DC, is a fire alarm. A firelarm like you have seen anywhere anywhere that there's a fire alarm on the in a public place, on the side of the wall. You know, it's read. It says fire at the top of it. It requires it requires a little bit of work to pull this thing right. It doesn't just you don't just accidentally hit a bot and it starts sending out the alarm. Right,
That's that's not how these things that's not how these things work. So he decides, for whatever reason, that that is the way to get out of the Cannon Building. Now, we would, as again as I said yesterday, if this was Biden. I mean, there's a part of us
that would say well, I could see Biden doing that. And before you get mad at me for saying that, the only reason I say it, and to say if the if the left was not insistent that nothing is wrong with Biden, then I would not say this, because it's clear what is wrong with Biden? Biden? Do you see Trump, by the way I
might play the son by Trump was was mocking Biden. Get he was giving a speech sometimes I think over the weekend, he gets to the end of his speech and he's, well, he's talking about Biden getting to the end of his speech. He says, you see this guy gets done with this speech and he just he's like, you got stairs over here to the left, you got stairs over here to the right, and you know you it's a stage you see, says, I've never seen this stage before, but
I know how to get off this stage. Right, there's stairs on both sides. I don't need to sit here and like wander aimlessly off the stage basically, and he's mocking Biden. How Biden shuffles. I've seen a comedian a comedian that says, and it's actually pretty accurate. He says, have you ever noticed at the end of a speech Biden turns into a roomba, shuffling his feet, suffling his feet back and forth. Confused. It's like he's hit the wall and he spins around and goes the other direction. That's
kind of what it looks like Trump was making making fun of that. Now, of course, I think that there's something very serious. I think that it's undeniable. But the left in the media pretend like there's nothing to worry about. So then I'm left to assume if there's no I guess real problem, since they've told me so. They're insistent that he's totally qualified and ready to do the job. So then I just I guess I'm left with the reality of just I don't know, mocking it a bit because they tell me
it's it's I guess it's just what average people do. I don't know, but I could see Biden pulling the fire alarm. I could see the same thing again. I don't like saying these things, but just the way that they refuse to accept reality. With John Fetterman, Senator Fetterman the fashion icon as well, you can see some people in Washington, DC that maybe you would think, ye, I don't know, I don't know if they know what if I don't know, if they care what a fire alarm is.
Some of these people. I don't know much about Jamal Brown until all of this, but I'll tell you this. If you're an if you're a principal of a school before you became a congressman, and you do fire drills on a regular basis, then I I would think then I would think that you should know what a fire alarm is. I would think that you would know how to pull the fire alarm. And you know that if you do that,
it starts sending out very loud, obnoxious noises. In fact, as I was getting ready for today's program, I was playing I was playing the sounds of the fire alarm, and it's vow. I thought about playing it for you, but I didn't want to do that to you as you're listening, because it can be an ear piercing noise. In fact, couple of my children, one of them was quite concerned, thinking that there was an
alarm for something, Well, there was an alarm for something. She's just she probably can't comprehend if I said a congressman decided to pull an alarm to not have to vote on a bill. That he said was going to destroy
the country and create the end of the world as we knew it. So anyway, this is what's going on, and if you've seen the pictures of this, it's absolutely incredible that someone someone would really say I thought I thought that that was required to get out of the building to pull that alarm. You've got to be kidding me. There's red signs everywhere. It's a fire alarm. It says fire on the actual device in the biggest, most bold
letters you can possibly imagine. As I mentioned yesterday, it reminded me of Seinfeld. Most things do, especially when you talk about liberal politics leftist politics. But it reminds me of the of the show. For those of you
who've seen it, it's actually one of my favorites. I forget the name of this particular show, but it's the show where George Costanza takes an IQ test his girlfriend at the time as someone who is a someone who gives out and you know, IQ tests the students and he's basically wanting to impress the girl, and he's found out that Elaine, his friend, Elaine benness Is,
has an incredibly high IQ. So they can coct a plan where Elaine will come get the test and take it for George, return the test with time to spare, so that when George's girlfriend comes back to get the test, George can handle the test completed by Elaine, thereby appearing or making it appear that he is a genius, and of course sweeping this woman off her feet, who will be totally impressed by the intellectual abilities of one George Costanza.
So they can cock this plan. They try to execute this plan. Of course, Elaine goes to a restaurant that there's of course a sign felt so there's a story about the restaurant that I won't get into. But effectively the restaurant involves Cramer coming in, who's highly distracting to Elane. Somehow coffee gets spilled on the test. Elane brings this test back to George's got coffee
stains on it, probably wrinkled up a little bit. She hands in the test through the window because again George's girlfriend shuts the door so he can have this room to take the test. But of course he didn't take the test. He handed it out the window to Elane. She brings it back, hands it back in the window. The girlfriend comes to check the tests, and she says, how did they get how did you get these coffee stains
on it? And so George comes up with the story that basically said, I decided when you brought me the test, I got hungry and thirsty or whatever. I decided to go down to the cafe. She said, well, how did you leave? She said, I was sitting in the front room. I didn't see it go out the door. And he says, door. Who needs a door when you got a perfectly good window to go out? So anyway, this is what it reminds me of. This is Seinfeld in real life. This guy does does use the door. I'm happy,
I guess I'm happy he didn't like try to bust the window. That was probably his next option. But he uses a door. But he thinks the fire alarm is what opens the door. No he doesn't, that's the point. No, he doesn't. Not. Even Jake Tapper believes this, which I'll play a SoundBite of that as he's interviewing AOC. He's asking her and she's defending it. By the way, she says, you never know you get panicked and the vestible and you know the place between the outer door
and the inside of the building. He you panic, He just panicked. He was so worried about the end of the world coming because the Republicans are going to shut down our government that he panicked pulled the fire alarm. I mean, no matter how whichever way you cut this, whichever lie that you want to follow on this fire alarm, I gotta tell you, I never expected to be talking about fire alarms when I started doing this show all these
years ago. Now, but here we are. But no matter how how you slice this, whether he was in a moment of panic and the vegetable, whether he was just confused on how to open a door like George Costanza, apparently, no matter how you slice that, the guy is totally incapable and inapt for serving in Congress. What's he doing? In what universe?
Does any of this make any sense whatsoever? Of course, there is an obvious explanation, an explanation that shows that they were all silently hoping and rooting for no matter what, they came out and publicly said they were rooting and cheering for a shutdown, even though they told us that was the end of the world as we know it. Timeouts in order though and take a time out. We're gonna play after the break. AOC talking with Jake Tapper.
Even Jake Tapper can't buy the he can't defend it with a straight face. We'll get to it on the other side of the break. But the time out is in order, my friends, quick time out. It's I just want you to hear this for a minute or two or whatever. This is this back and forth Jake Tapper,
Alexandria Ocasio Cortez AOC. She is on State of the Union with Jake Tapper on CNN, and she's defending the polling. I just can't at the pulling of the fire alarm. The pulling of the fire alarm, the things that one has to be prepared to defend if they are a leftist today is
absolute insanity. It is it's true insanity. You have to be willing to defend the idea that biological boys can be girls, biological girls can be boys, that socialism is the path to prosperity, that communism is good, even though it killed one hundred million of its own citizens in the twentieth century. That's just bad examples, that's basically a bunch of people who could not reach the status of the benevolent dictator. They have to defend Biden's economy. They
have to defend high inflation, which has come down. Admittedly it's that's good, but we still haven't They still haven't taken responsibility as to why it turned into the absolute raging mess that it became to begin with, which is because of again government producing more of a money supply than is justifiable in the world of reality. There's not enough value that has been created in the marketplace. I don't want to get down that path, but that's what inflation is.
So anyway, they've got to defend all these different things as the point. And so now AOC dutifully here steps up to the microphone or onto the stage with Jake Tapper at CNN. She's going to defend what's happening with her colleague Jamal Brown and say that she basically understood it was a moment of panic. He just got scared. He didn't know how to open the door and hit
the fire alarm. But I want you to listen to this nonsense. Aoc on with Jake Tapper defending the pulling of the fire alarm in the moments leading up to the vote that would stand to save America from indpending doom, disaster, tumult, chaos, and despair. Here it is, there was an interesting moment over the weekend. When you're New York colleague Congressman Jamal Bowman, and he's under investigation for this. Now after Capitol please say he pulled a
fire alarm in Wonder the House Office buildings. Democrats were trying to delay a vote, a final vote on the bill. There he is pulling the fire alarm. He says it was an accident. He thought pulling the alarm would open a door, based on the fact that the doors to his right there were locked and there was a sign that he said he was I think someone said it was confusing. I'll be honest, it doesn't really make sense to
me his explanation. Have you talked to him, what's going on? I mean, listen, I think if you actually do see some of the photos of the signs, I think there's something to be said about the government's about to shut down. There's a vote clock that's going down. The exits that are normally open in that building were suddenly closed. Suddenly all the fire alarm.
I'm what I am here to say is that House Administration and US Capitol Police and Jamal Bowman are inactive, and he's fully participating and saying there was a misunderstanding. But what I do think is important to raise is the fact that Republicans representatives like Nicole Malatakis and others immediately moved to file motions to censure, motions to expel before there has even been conversations that are that are finished
to even see if there was a misunderstanding here. But what they did do while they did that, what they did not do was to commit to the same when George Santos was actually found guilty after a thorough investigation of thirteen federal charges. He's indicted on everything from wire fraud to actual lying of House investigators, And they have been buddying up and giggling with him on the House floor, and they are protecting someone who has lied to the American people, lie
to the United States House of Representatives, lie to Congressional investigators. But they're filing a motion to expel a member who, in a moment of panic, was trying to escape a vestibule. Give me a break. And so the idea that there is somehow any kind of equivalent, I can't to someone who is actively trying to clear up a situation that he himself admits he's embarrassed.
He released a statement last night, he apologized, and they are protecting someone who has not only committed wire fraud, not only defrauded veterans, not only why you get the idea, but George Santos right, in a moment of panic, Jamal Brown gets into the vestibule, he can't find his way out. So what do you do? You pull the fire alarm? Why not?
Why not? I mean, if you follow the Democrats narrative on this, and you're consistent by the way, this is an attempt, clearly an attempt to overthrow our demac or this is an attempt it appears, I mean, what logical explanation. I love how I love how she says. Now you know there might be an explanation. He's working with authorities. He's embarrassed.
I mean he should be embarrassed. Embarrassment is actually, in my mind of course they're going to say he's embarrassed because he didn't know better, to which I would say, if he doesn't know better, then what's he doing serving in Congress? This guy is not I mean, this is this is really you try doing this? How about this? You try going to your state capitol building or to your public building of choice today. I'm not really saying this, so don't anyone put words. I'm just making an analogy.
But let's say you walk in, you walk into a state house and you walk over and you see this red box on the wall that says fire, and you pull it and they come over and they say, hey, man, and you can't you know what the left, remember the left, and even normal regular people say this too. You can't scream fire in a crowded fire in a crowded theater. That's that's not free speech. That's not protected speech. You're not adding anything to the dialogue, or what you're trying to
do is create pandemonium and panic and so forth. He literally screamed fire in the government building. That's what this is. I can play again, I'm tempted to play, to play the alarm going off. You're not gonna like it. Your ears are gonna want to scream at me. But that is what he did. He screamed fire in a crowded government building. So why can we do that? Why is it suddenly okay, Why do we suddenly
need some deep investigation, some understanding. He's embarrassed when it's obvious to all who just look at this objectively to say, now, wait a minute, it looks to me as though something is up here. It looks to me like there's a problem here. When it's too much for Jake Tapper, my friends, it's too much for the leftist media to try to push upon the
American people. You know, you know, you've reached a point of absolute utter insanity when they're not willing to help carry the water on this one. AOC of course is, and she's of course trying to make this about George Santos and so forth, waiting for them to make it about Trump as well.
But if they were consistent, if they were consistent, and they were to say that this is the equivalent of yelling fire in a crowded government building, a government building that was about the business of working out the people's democracy, it would be clear what this really is, which is an attempt to thwart and overthrow our government. I mean, this guy, if you follow their logic, isn't an insurrectionist. I don't know what he needs to be
in the whole right. I mean again, this is just their logic. This is their logic. Of course, what Trump's logic. No pun intended for Trump, but what Trump's Every other thing that I might have said for the left is what is your political party? Oh you're a Democrat? Cool, pull as many fire alarms as you want, will defend you. There, you have it. Everything is fine. Insanity, my friends, quick
time out. I have enjoyed talk, I have to tell you. I mean, as dumb as this is, I have enjoyed talking about this because it is so infantile. It is so it is to me, such a symbolic piece of the overall reality of what we're dealing with. They're defending people who are Democrats, polling fire alarms in crowded government buildings, akin to yelling fire in that crowded government building. They are prepared to defend them. Excuse
them, say that there's some sort of momentary panic. Apparently he was triggered. Maybe he saw a picture of Trump on the wall, somewhere, or maybe someone mentioned his name as he was walking out of that building suddenly. That makes this much more understandable to the left. Maybe he I don't know, he was just panic, they say, just totally just panicked, got stuck in the vestibule. There's another word. I never thought I would be saying three, four or five times in a show. Anyway, timeouts in
order. We have the leftist to thank for this insane discussion topic of the day. But I can break my friends. Sit tight, be back here in just a minute. Welcome back to my friends. You know, I was preparing to play the clip of Trump kind of mocking Biden during a speech I think over the weekend. But as I was doing that and I went back to the stack of stuff, I found something else that I wanted to
play, even though I referenced that earlier. If we've got time, I will will do that still, but I actually want to play a clip. This is a short clip Representative Jasmine Crockett. Representative Jasmine Crockett. She's a Democrat from the state of Texas, from Dallas, I believe, or a
suburb of somewhere in Dallas, Dallas area. That's her district. There was a hearing, of course, on Hunter Biden and all the stuff that President Bribery has alleged to have been connected to all of this mess, and foreign well, foreign business partners and air quotes Seinfeld air quotes there. And so of course the left is circle the wagons to defend residents bribery, to minimize
this, to make it about anything besides what it really is about. And if you haven't heard this, this is, I mean, this is a bold statement for anyone who spent five minutes looking into the allegations of an understanding the Hunter Biden situation, which if you've listened, you have and you've probably
researched it on your own as well. But we've talked about this, We've explained how Hunter Biden is not that the whole thing with Hunter Biden in the laptop, it's not about computers, it's not about embarrassing the president's son and
so forth, it's not about any of that. Now, do I think that there are people who are trying to make that well, do I think any politician would try to make political hay out of something that they thought could help, even if it wasn't even technically direct part of really the problem. I think that there's certainly politicians, and I would say a lot of politicians that's just the instinct. So I can't say that no one is trying to
make political hay about this stuff that is happening with Hunter. But to me, it's not about any of that. To me, what is it about.
It's about evidence that shows that Hunter Biden, quite possibly allegedly per evidence, may have been using utilizing putting to work his relationship with his father to make money from people who are not United States citizens and who are people who are benefiting from the government that at the time Vice President Bribery was a big I mean the vice president, right, He was the vice president, so he was someone with power. Plus he's been there for half a century.
He knows everyone this fact that the left has told us this, The media has told us this outright Biden. You know the fact I saw somebody the other day that said Biden should use his age to his advantage. Ay man, I've got experience making this work in DC for fifty years. In what universe has DC worked for fifty years? But anyway, so all that being said, this representative, of course is questioning a witness. But she's actually making a statement here, and I want you to listen to what she says.
President Bribery's greatest crime is here. It is We'll tell you what the president has been guilty of. He has unfortunately been guilty of loving his child unconditionally. And that is the only evidence that they have brought forward. And honestly, I hope and pray that my parents love me half as much as he loves his child. Until they find some evidence, we need to get back to the people's work, which means keeping this government open so that people
don't go hungry and the streets of the United States. And I will yield. Thank you for yielding. So apparently, if you scream it loud enough, if you act offended enough, if you act as though it's the most unjust investigation in the history of investigations, that's enough to suffice for a certain number of people in this country. She's screaming, and she says, the only thing that president is guilty of is loving his child too much. Now,
a couple of things. Number one, note child. Note the word child, which, of course he is technically his child, But let us not forget that he is a he's in his fifty I don't how old his Hunter Biden now, he's in his fifty late forties or fifties, early fifties. Something certainly not what many people would conjure up when you said a parent loves their child. I understand that it's still technically true, but you know what they're trying to do here. And number two, she hopes that her
parents love her half as much as President Briberate loves Hunter Biden. She thinks that it's actually admirable. This actually, I guess in her crazy worldview and version of reality. Of course, there's one version of reality, but in her mind, in her mind, she apparently equates parents using positions of power to get kickpacks for their children, and then those kickbacks come also back to themselves. That must be good parenting. I don't know. I don't know
what books on parenting this representative has read. I don't know if she is purporting to be a parental expert. But for those of you with children out there, I would not endorse this behavior. I would not tell you to use your position as a parent to show your love for your child for allegedly or by allegedly engaging in activity that could be illegal. Definitely is immoral,
quite possibly looks to be. If this all pans out to be clearly illegal, you shouldn't be using your position and authority to help your child get something that is not unjustifiably due to them. I mean, I don't know. Again, I don't know what books she reads on parenting. I'm sure there are books that are not rooted in reality. They probably are books that tell us that three month old children can begin to decide for themselves what their gender
is and all this sort of stuff. So craziness is what we're dealing with. Craziness, This is absolutely crazy. People have depraved minds, and they have been given over to those depraved minds. And it is on stage for anyone to see. And he that has ears and I used to see. I hope you see what's going on here. This is indefensible in every conceivable way, But yet they continue to defend it. But yet they continue to try to normalize it. Yet they continue to try to minimize what was really
going on. And maybe there's another explanation for the evidence, but this ain't it. This is not it. It's not it to say that the evidence suggests that President Biden loved his child too much. Give me a break. This is patently ridiculous and absurd, along with virtually everything else that comes out of the mouths of these jokers and clowns. And I'm gonna take a time
out, quick time out, my friends. You're listening here to conservative not better talk, which is firmly rooted in reality, both feet on the ground, using logic and sense and reason, not engaging in emotional nonsense, sophistry and so forth that the left so desperately loves and it needs in order to function in a world that somehow is still rooted in reality despite what these folks are trying to do to it. my friends. This is a very rare occurrence. But I'm actually going I'm actually going to share one more clip today. I don't think we ever do this. It's rare that we do well, uncommon to do one. I guess it's rare to do two, and it's unheard of. It's a historical program that you've tuned into today. But I wanted to play this. This was Trump. This was on the I don't know if he said made this speech on the twenty ninth. But this is when I see this posted
on September twenty ninth, so a couple of days ago. This is Trump mocking Biden for not being able to get off of a stage after he gives a speech. Now, some of it is helpful. Before I before I play this, I want to tell you that I listened to it, because you know, it's always adds to be able to actually see it. And you can't see it's obviously in this format, but it still it still resonates, It still resonates. You can imagine what he's doing in your mind's eye
as he's at the podium. Trump's at the podium as he does this. But anyway, I want you to listen to this Trump mocking Biden after he gives a speech. He's speaking to Republicans in the People's Republic of California. Here it is. See. Look, some people say Biden's gonna make it. Does anybody think he's gonna make it to the starting game? I mean, the guy can't find his way off of a stage. Look, here's a stage. Here's a stage. I've never seen this stupid stage before.
Right, I've never seen it. But if I walk left, there's a stair, and if I walk right, there's a stair, and this guy gets up Where am I? Trump is wandering around like Biden does. Crowd loves it. He's got his back to the crowd, throwing his hands up when the Biden shows like a roomba. Where am I? Where am I?
He says, And that's what we're That's really what we're up against, right, We're dealing with people that want to excuse, defend, explain this sort of stuff, whether it's Fetterman and his hoodies and shorts and some of the bizarre things he's said or tried to say, or Biden in his behavior.
Some people now saying Biden's age is an advantage, whether it's pulling fire alarms, whether it's saying that biological boys can be girls and biological girls can be boys, and that socialism can somehow work and all those other crazy stuff.
