All right, my friends, welcome today's episode of the Todd Huff Show, America's Home for a Conservative not Bitter commentary, talk education. It's a

Although I am feeling pretty good today, so you might be able to get by with a little bit less of that than usual. I want to talk today about a rally. Actually two things. I want to get too off the
top. I'm want to get too off the top, and I think it's the it's really a battle of two narratives we are entering in. We are now in August August, my friends, this is the month that the first Republican primary debates will take place. This is the I guess, maybe getting close to the official kickoff of the campaign season. We are now looking directly into the twenty twenty four campaign, and it's right there before our eyes.
And so somehow, somehow, and we're not quite there just yet, but we've almost endured, almost endured a first term of President Biden, despite his attempts to make sure that we don't endure that first term. And so there's a narrative, of course, as to what this election is about, and there are clues all over the landscape as to the way that the sides are framing the debate. Now, I want to say a couple of things.
Number one, Number one, truth matters. Truth matters. Now. A professional politician, professional campaigners, what they do is they try to look for things that are happening in the country, look at issues that rile people up, that they think can move the base, that they think can benefit them when it comes to campaigning as far as fundraising goes, and campaigning as far as getting votes goes, or volunteers as well. And so as we get
closer to election season, most of you know this. Some may be newer to this, and I know you know, this is not how they talked about it in elementary school, if they still even do that today. This is not how high school civics were taught in most cases either. But this is when they're in hyper mode, hyper mode, hyper drive, I guess,
on creating and establishing and driving home a narrative. That's why when they talk, the politicians, the talking heads of the day, they use carefully scripted phrases, things that have been work shopped and focused grouped and researched and tested amongst people who are part of those focus groups or surveys or whatever, and those terms have been used to the advantage or they hope to use those terms and ways of phrasing things to the advantage of the politicians the campaigns to
make the election about what they think will make it advantageous to themselves. And there's nothing necessarily wrong with this, but context, of course, as always is, is king. I like to think about it. I'm an MMA fan, and I did not watch the UFC fights over this past weekend, but I do enjoy watching UFC fights, And of course, you know, if you listen to this program for any length of time that I would be happy to watch the Mark Zuckerberg versus Elon Musk fight again. I'm team Elon
Musk all the way. But there are when you look at UFC fights, there are sometimes dramatically different styles of fighters. Right. There might be fighters who want to have a strong wrestling base or jiu jitsu base, and they want to get the fight to the ground. They might be strong at what they call ground and pound, and some of this may be brutal to some if you don't like the sport. I love the sport. But you know, there's different aspects of fighting. Some people like to stand in box,
some people like to stand in kickbox. Some people like to take the fight to the ground work on jiu jitsu, which would be chokes and armlocks and leg locks and you know, things like that, things that make opponents tap out before they I don't know, blow a shoulder out or some such thing, or they choke out and pass out. And so different styles of course, required different different acts inside the octagon. So for example, if you like the fight to be on the grounds, you're gonna have to know how
to take the opponent down. If you like your fight to stay on on your feet. You're gonna have to know how to defend against the takedown, and you know, move your head and land your own strikes when you decide to throw those at your opponent. And so that's what is happening here, except there's one there's one difference, right, There's there's one difference and in fighting. In fighting, there is the rubber meets the road in the octagon.
So you can't be out there pretending like you can. I guess you can until you get in the octagon. You can go out there and you can make it sound like you're the world's best fighter. You're the world's best. They'll say, you talk about your boxing skills. I'm gonna keep this fight on my feet. I'm gonna knock this guy out with you know, before the three minute mark of round two or whatever they say, right and so, but when that cage closes and you're not a good boxer, you
can't hide behind those lies any longer. You can't. You can't do it because reality will be pounding you in the face. And that is not the case with these political campaigns. Because the political campaigns can be well, they
can invite people who like to do things like gas lighting Americans. They can invite people who are professional deceivers, they can invite people who are inclined to make up a narrative that fits ever so nicely, but that there's no way to ever have to prove there's not even the campaign itself, even the campaign itself is not akin to locking the octagon door, because it's about abstract ideas
and it's about what will happen in the future. Now, I will say Biden in the past has challenged people to push up contests and that sort of thing. So maybe there will be an octagon feature in the twenty twenty four campaign. Nothing would surprise me at this point. But there's there's not that moment in time when you can see before your very eyes if what the candidates are talking about actually stands up to reason and to opposition if you will,
to reality, if you will. And so it's about framing the debate, framing the election. And there's two ways of doing this, and I want to start. I've got Trump SoundBite of him over the weekend in Pennsylvania. But I've also got an email. Yeah, that's right, I'm on an email list. I've told you this before I had friends who think that they're funny adding me to email lists for the radical left. I get emails from
Biden fundraising campaign. No, I don't donate money to the Biden campaign, but I do keep their emails because every once in a while there's something in this that I do want to share, and I want to share this. It's a fundraising email. I got it, I think sometime over the weekend. It was coming from Barbara Streisand that's right, babs herself high she writes her marketing team rights, it's Barbara Streisand now this keep in mind where it's
it's a story. It's it's a tale of two cities, if you will, a tale of two versions of reality. And I don't even know if you want to say reality. It's it's two alternative viewpoints that these groups of people, these campaigns are trying to sell. They're trying to sell these But the question is which one is rooted in reality, which one is rooted in truth? Which one is nothing more than gaslighting? This seats and things like
that. So here's Barbara streisand writing to get your support, my support for the Biden Harris ticket. And this is how they want to frame they want to frame the election. Hi, it's Barbara Streisand I have always been moved
by the Jewish tradition of tacun olam. I don't know if I'm pronouncing that correctly, but anyway, the meaning repairing the world, I truly believe that President Biden and Vice President Harris. Again, I want to make sure, in case anyone tries to lift the sound from this audio, I am reading
an email written by Barbara Streisand's PR team, marketing department whatever. This is not the words of Todd Huff. In fact, these are one hundred and eighty degrees out of a line with reality and therefore with the opinion of one Todd Huff as well. So but she writes here, I truly believe that President Biden and Vice President Harris, hang onto your chair of their odds are the perfect people to bring our country. I can't read this with a straight
face. Are the perfect people to bring our country together to make that possible again, to repair the world. They're not even she doesn't even think they should stop at repairing America. Of course, the truth be known, Barbara Streisand wants them to burn it to the ground, burn this thing to the ground, burn it down completely. That's what the left wants to do.
Barbara Streisand is cool with that, all the while wanting you to think that she wants to quote unquote repair the world, wherever that's supposed to mean anyway. So I'm reaching out today to ask you to join me in supporting them. Paused, by the way, the Jewish tradition is not what I'm attacking here, because of course the God of the Bible, through his people or
through whatever means he chooses, can repair the world completely. What I'm saying is that the idea that politicians, especially politicians named Joseph Robinette Biden and Kamala Harris, have any clue on how to repair the world. They can't even get through a speech without messing something up embarrassingly. So so back to Arbor Streisand, she says, So I'm reaching out today to ask you to join me in supporting them, and then of course you can make your contributions about
clicking this link or whatever. President Biden and Vice President Harris, she writes, have spent the last few years working to build a better America. How they can say this with a straight face, I don't know, but yet they are saying it with a straight face, a far cry, she writes, from the lies, cruelty, and hate our former president spewed again. This again is their narrative. This is what they want the election to be
about. It's a referendum on Trump. It's this concept that says Kamala and Joe are out there trying to repair the world, while Trump is trying to be a racist, bigoted human being, who's lying, and who's being cruel to people around the world, and who hates everyone who is not in his
political groups, saying, that's the narrative. So she continues, and while Magarepublicans are hell bent on continuing to push an extremist agenda at all levels of government, and then she lists some examples here enacting voter suppression, banning books in schools, and taking away their right to an abortion all across the country. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris understand that it is our responsibility to work toward
a better world. There's that phrase again. Biden, of course, Kamala, of course, the left, of course, wanting us to have a global government. Being the president of the world is quite an attractive things. To these power hungry tyrants. But that's what she says, And then she again gives you a link here where you can donate to the stupidest campaign in American history. The choice, she writes, we face in twenty twenty four couldn't be more clear, And that's why I'm coming to you and asking for
your help today. Can you pitch in? I love how they always use that tourn They have focus grouped and study that to the max. Pitching. If you're running a campaign and you want to know the phrase that apparently works on these things include pitching, I might start doing it on things that we do. Pitching, pitching, pitching. So she writes, can you pitch
in twenty five dollars to help us make that better world a reality? The left promises utopia, but of course they want you to ignore what's happening when they touch the things before your very eyes, which is they burn to the ground. They burn this country to the ground, They burn truth to the well. They can't burn it to the ground, but they certainly can burn
the ability for us to share truth to the ground. They can certainly try to deny truth, deny reality, deny that they are causing massive economic problems on this country. Deny that they are causing massive amounts of You want to talk about real hatred, I mean, the real hatred comes from these godless
radical leftists. She's got one more sentence here, and she closes by saying, by pitching in, you are showing your early support for President Biden and Vice President Harrison, helping us show the strength of our movement with the country. Thank you so much for your time and support, Barbara, Barbara stress and there you go. So that's one viewpoint. Now, I don't even want to say it's the viewpoint. It's delusional, but it is one one
suggested or one proposed way of looking at the world. And the idea is, of course, if they can get people to see the world through that lens that she just painted. Now there's more to it, but that's roughly what You're going to hear different angles of that same sort of approach. But if they can get people to buy into this nonsense, then they think they'll vote for President Joe Biden and his running mate Kamala Harris. So timeouts in
order. There's another alternative out there as well, one that is rooted in reality, one that I think even a lot of Republicans don't necessarily want to want to accept. I mean, there's a part of me that doesn't want to accept the real reality of what we're dealing with here in twenty twenty four. But we'll get to that on the other side of the break, and we'll talk about some of the stupid things she writes about hearing this and this

By the way, I got a nice message over over the weekend, actually lots of nice messages, but I can't go through all of those, and a lot of the messages were, you know, kind messages about our expansion that's coming here with through joining a radio network, which I'll tell you more
about in due course. But I want to I want to read this one in particular, because I did get a kick out of this, and I want to share it with you because I mean, this is ultimately what it's what it's about. This is from a listener in California says I love the show, and of course who wouldn't. By the way, you have definitely made me lean all the way right. Keep up the good work that makes
me feel very good, especially coming from the People's Republic of California. But I should tell you, and Samuel appreciate this, that my vast, vast, vast team of attorneys have told me that I have to warn you. This reminds me, I have to warn you that listening to this program may in fact cause you to lean to the right. So issue or I would say, exercise extreme caution when operating heavy machinery, when driving a vehicle.
I would even say when walking across your front yard in the living room, especially if you're carrying something like a cup of coffee, exercise extreme caution because you will find, in fact that you are leaning to the right. So you have been duly warned of that reality. But there is another reality. Well, there is reality, and then there are alternative attempts or attempts to make you think that there's something other than the reality that you are, that
you are experiencing. And what I shared last segment is the opposite of reality. It is living in the Superman's Bizarro universe, where up is down and day is night and all that stuff, right, That's that's that's the left quote unquote reality. They want you to think that this election is about picking people who are capable of repairing the world, which akin is, Look at what happens when they simply run cities. Look at what happens when they run
the city of San Francisco. We talked about it a little bit yesterday. There's so much defecation on the sidewalks that an app was created called crap Snap. Is that what it was? Crap Snap Snap crap, Sorry, snapcrap, which I love. This is fantasy. I don't love that they're doing that in the city, but it is, folks. It is reaping what they've sown out there. I mean, I don't know how else to say
this, but everything that they the radical left, touches falls apart. And the people who vote this stuff in at some point, my friends, they
deserve what they're getting now. The people who are trying to stop this, who are caught up in this buzz saw, the scorched earth that's created from the woke ideology, the completely just awful evil worldview and ideology, they we are getting caught up in this, and we're trying to get people to pay attention, and we're trying to get people to focus on what really matters and to get out of that narrative that Barbara streisand wrote about that I talked about
in the previous segment that is not reality, that is creating a narrative that is designed simply to help Biden and Kamala get reelected to run this country, and not just to run the country, as they say, but to of course do much more than that rescue or whatever they say the world. And
of course that has implications. Some of these things are subtle. They're suddenly setting people up to accept some of these bigger, more audacious claims, which again, they can't keep poop off the sidewalk in San Francisco, but they
think they can. Well, they want you to think that they can control the sea levels in fifty years, that they can make sure that every person in this planet gets paid the identical or at least in this country, gets paid an identical amount of money, as though we're all robots and they're not. Other circumstances, individual circumstances that apply to every interaction, every act of
commerce across the country. But anyway, so They want us to believe that Trump is evil, that Biden is great, that they're rescuing and repairing the world, and that Trump just wants to hate people and everything else. But there's another explanation for what we got going on here, and I would maintain this is the one that's rooted firmly in reality. This is the one that while we may not want to admit this, I don't. By the way, I do not take any pleasure in the country in saying this about a
country that I mean. I am grateful for this place. I revere this place. I understand that this place is the greatest place on the face of the Earth. I understand that the lifestyle that we live, the prosperity that we have that has been brought about by the foundational principles of this country. I understand that that puts us in an exclusive group of some of the most physically blessed people on planet Earth. I am grateful for that. So it pains me a lot. It pains me a lot to have to tell you
that the people who are running our government are not good people. And that's not meant to be a blanket statement, Although I will tell you there's a lot more of them than I would like to admit. But there are people in positions of power that will do whatever it takes to stop the opposition. The opposition is anyone that values individual liberty, anyone that opposes their acquisition of
power, anyone who opposes globalism, anyone who favors free speech. Did you see the law, by the way, that's been passed in Michigan, our neighbor to the north here in Central Indiana, our neighbor to the north, has signed a law into I'll signed a law into effect that if you misgender someone, it's actually a violation of law. I mean, you could be you could go to jail for this, for misgendering someone, to pay a
financial penalty, and so forth. Reality matters, not apparently to the legislators in and of course the governor obviously in the governor of the state of Michigan. So this is what this is what we are up against. And again I've talked about the different facets of society and the pillars I guess pillars of
education, the pillars of media, entertainment, of course government. These things work in collusion with one another to further an agenda which empowers them, and which takes away our liberty, which takes away our money, which is another way of saying it takes away our liberty. And they're financially breaking the people of this country. They are over burning them, over extending them, making it harder to make ends meet through inflation, through taxation. I mean,
I saw someone since something to me the other day. It could have been from Odds, it could have been from someone else, I don't remember, but it said, name another country in the world that sends its tax dollars to support the United States of America. We seem to be doing that for everybody, especially Ukraine. There's no price we won't pay for Ukraine, and that is being paid by somebody that's not being created by the magical money ferry.
That money has to come from somewhere, and it is tightening the screws on the American people. It's another way that we lose our liberty on a regular basis. And these people, I'm telling you, some just some don't know any better. Some are just on autopilots like anything else. But some are you talking about being a helb, which is what which is what Barbara Streisand wrote in her stupid email. But they are hell bent. They are
truly hell bent on making life difficult on the American taxpayer. They want they know that a person who has resources and choice and freedom is much harder to control and to manipulate than someone who's not. And they are willing to do whatever is necessary, whatever is necessary to move in the direction of globalism, of big government, of tyranny, of socialism, even of communism, my
friends. So that's the other viewpoint. And with that being said, and again I don't want I don't want to be saying this about my country. I really don't. But when that said, I want to play a sound by I don't have to wait till the next segment. Now play a sound by the President Trump talking to a lit a group of a big group, a huge group at a rally, explaining some of the things that he's enduring
and what that really means. And I think he's spot on, and you can compare what he's saying and how he's framing the campaign about how the radical compare that too. I should say what the radical left is doing, BABS is doing in creating their little, fake, little narrative where Biden and COMML
are there to rescue the world and so forth. Nothing, of course, could be further from the truth, especially the more evidence we get coming from Hunter's laptop and how that allegedly is implicating the president of the United States. If those things are true, then the one thing they care about is not repairing the world. The one thing they care about is inflating their personal bank accounts. Obviously, So I want to go in and listen to this or share with you this clip President Trump speaking to a group speaking to a large audience in Erie, Pennsylvania, which is again going to be one of the battleground states. Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia, Wisconsin, Arizona, maybe maybe Nevada or
Nevada, as Trump says, and there could be a North Carolina. These are states. You know that the outcomes of those are are very critical in
determining who will be the next president of the United States. So this is Trump talking about his indictments, which, by the way, I mentioned yesterday that on late last week Thursday or Friday, the charge, the raditional charges brought against Trump, charges that accused him of having staff delete evidence video evidence that the Department of Justice was trying to get their hands on video evidence showing something of course, pertaining allegedly to the I think to the documents at Mara
LAGU. The accusation is that Trump had these deleted. Trump's out there saying he absolutely did not do that. But that's just the latest and there's probably going to be more. And the idea here is to I think, overwhelm the senses of the American people, because hey, you can defend him,
maybe against one set of charges, maybe possibly against two. But if it's just so many, so many charges from so many places, then it becomes hard for the average person to think, you know what, if everybody's accusing this guy of doing wrong, then there has to be something to it. Again, notice what they don't want you to do. They don't want you
to actually look at the evidence. They want you to listen to the narrative and just follow that belief that says where there's a lot of smoke so to speak, there has to be fire, which in one respect is true,
that is reality. But we should be able to inspect and make sure that no one is manufacturing smoke and telling us that there's fire that's causing all of the different pockets of smoke that's popping that's popping up across the fruited playing in the metaphor here of being the charges against Trump, it is certainly possible if Trump can be charged. Well, initially years ago, it was alleged he of course colluded with Russia to steal an election using Facebook ads and Pokemon go
ads. If you can just if one person can have that much power working with putin, how much can entire agencies of the federal government have if they are walking and working I should say, in collusion and in cahoots with one another. But here's Trump. Trump's warning the American people. Trump's saying, they're coming after me, because they're really coming after you. I'm just standing now. You've heard him say this sort of thing before, but he frames
this specifically to the indictment charges. Here is what President Trump has to say. You know, they're not indicting me, they're indicting you. I just happened to be standing in their way. That's all it is. But what you're witness thank you, what you're witnessing is a continuation of the single greatest witch hunt of all times. Right, this is prosecutor oural misconduct, and this primary purpose is to steal another election. They're all in a very coordinated
attack trying to take away our election of twenty twenty four. They rigged the presidential election twenty We're not going to allow them to rig the presidential election of twenty twenty four. Listen to the crowd, and as I listen to that, I'm reminded of Will Hurd's comments, which we played yesterday. He's running, of course, for the Republican nomination for president. He's got maybe one
person. I don't know if he's got one percent, but he makes some claim that says Trump is only running because he wants to keep himself out of prison. Good luck convincing that audience of that, by the way, Good good luck of convincing any objective person of that. Anyway. I just wanted to share that the proper way to see this is that we have a government that's out of control. This campaign is about that. This may in fact, be I try not to overstate things. We use hyperbolein, exaggeration and
so forth to make points. But when I get past all of that and I get down to the core of an issue, I try to be very, very cautious because I don't want to overstate this. I really don't. But my friends, this may bee, This twenty twenty four election may literally be the defining moment in American history that decides whether or not we continue being a nation of liberty and freedom and opportunity and prosperity, or if it is
the death knell for individual liberty and prosperity in the Constitution. Because we have to win these elections, because these folks have proven that they are completely willing to do whatever they can, whatever they can get away with, to personally help themselves and to destroy what the founders have created here. So folks, I know it is I still remember, I still remember when I came to the realization I used to I first started listening to Rush Limbaugh in nineteen ninety nine and I was living and working on a standardbred horse farm. It sounds made up, but I was a true story. I was.
I was a horse farmer for three years. And I remember listening to his program, and I remember planning my day much undoubtedly like many of you do today around this program, or you should let me say that, but I remember planning my day around the program, and I would listen. I would listen to all three hours when I was working on the farm of Russia's show every day, and I studied him, I learned from him. He taught

But my friends, if you really think about it, there only two options. Are there. This inapt or it's intentional or it's intentional. And if it's intentional, then everything that Trump
