So what's going to happen here in this Trump case headline here at PJ Media Why a hung jury is likely in the Trump case? Do you think it'll be a hung jury? Do you think
it'll be a conviction. Do you think it'll be Do you think it'll be an acquittal? When they find him guilty not guilty? Will it be a hung jury. Let's just take a look at this really quickly. This article again, it's in the stack of stuff. It's been clear from the beginning that Donald Trump is being acquitted, that Donald Trump being acquitted in his criminal trial in New York City was unlikely. The entire process was designated to achieve
a conviction, not a fair trial. The prosecutor is a Soros funded leftist who campaigned on getting Trump. That's true, by the way. The judge is a Biden donor. And finally, the jurisdiction is so heavily liberal that it would be nearly impossible to get an unbiased jury. I mean, just think about that, do we mean that's an important thing. You know, you want a jury that is not a biased jury. You want I mean, the whole point of having a trial by jury is to make sure that
we It's one of the checks to hold our government accountable. Right, It's one of the ways that we hold our government accountable. It says that the government can bring charges against an individual, but the government cannot just simply throw people in jail because they say that there's evidence that they committed a crime.
No, no, no, my friends. What has to happen is that a group of people, group of peers in the community, have to hear the evidence and then look at the evidence against the actual law and ask themselves, did the accused, did the accused violate the law, break the law beyond a reasonable doubt? Is there any other conclusion that we can draw besides the fact that the accused committed the crime as alleged by the state, And so obviously you have to have people in that jury pool who are not biased.
Now that point in here that it's going to be virtually impossible to find that, which, of course that's already been set. That was set at the beginning of the trial, as you well know, the jury. The jury was selected. But how do you I mean, that's an important aspect. And then you know, finding people that are that are not biased, finding people who say, I'm not here to find him guilty because I think he should go to prison because he was trying to overthrow our democracy. That's
not what this is about. Likewise, it's not about someone going in there and saying this is a witch hunt having that conclusion drawn, which again, is it's fair to draw those conclusions. It's fair to draw those conclusions just from observing it. Those are the conclusions that I've drawn. But my friends, but it is something altogether different to them. Make your decision as to whether someone is guilty or innocent based upon what you believe is happening politically.
Now, of course, you have to follow the evidence and you have to be willing to say you have to be willing to vote in accordance with what the evidence suggests. And you know there's three possible outcomes guilty, not guilty, or a hung jury. So let's continue reading here at PJ Media for the past few weeks, District Attorney ALB. Bragg's case has imploded as each of his key witnesses has undermined his case. Even left wing experiments have admitted
as much and have suggested that suggested that Trump would likely be acquitted. But as George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley explains, a hung journey, a hung jury is still more likely. And this is what Jonathan Turley says. Originally Bragg vaguely referenced four crimes, and there have been months of confusion. Well, this is Originally Bragg vaguely referenced four crimes, and there have been months of confusion. Was to what he was specifically alleging as his crime?
Criminal theories I was awarded not very well might be a typo anyway. Even legal analysts on CNN and MSNBC have continued to question the specific alleged against Trump as we head into the closing arguments. As it stands, there are three crimes that have been referenced by prosecutors state and federal elections violations and taxation violations.
Bragg's legal vision for non objective indictments was greatly advanced by Judge Juan Murcan, who will allow the jury to reach different rulings on what crime is actually evident in Bragg's paint splatters. Mercan has even ruled that the jurors can disagree
on what actually occurred in terms of the second crime. This means there could be three groups of four jurors who with one believing that there was a conspiracy to conceal a state election violation, another believing there was a federal election violation which Brag cannot enforce, and a third believing that there was a tax violation, respectively. Nonetheless, Mercanne will treat that as a unanimous verdict. In other words, they could look at the indictment and see vastly different shapes but
still send Trump to prison on their interpretations. Yikes. I mean it's a mess, right, I mean, we are willing to That was all that was Jonathan Turley, by the way, as quoted here in PJ Media. So you talk about again, you talk about our country being at risk here, our democracy being hanging in the balance, our democracy at stake. Just take a look at what's happening in this particular trial, and it still seems, at least to Jonathan Turley that the most likely outcome is going to be
a hung jury, which then what hung jury? Are we going to retry this? When will it be retried? I mean, there's just all sorts of all sorts of problems with this. So before I move on here, my friends, let me remind you that I Sell Health has been serving clients throughout this country since two thousand and four. They specialize in individual health, group health and in Medicare. And I say they It's run by my friend

So what do you think is going to happen here at this at this trial? I mean, really anything, If if we've come to expect anything is to expect the unexpected, right, we should expect the absolutely unexpected. This is something that we have to just contend with here.
We have to realize that this is unchartered waters. We're dealing with all sorts of things that we've never had to deal with before. And so I suppose at that particular point we could say anything is possible. But the reason the founders put these things in place in our country today or back when they founded it, was because it could be so easily abused by the folks in political
power. It'd be so easy. And you can see that from this, you could see how someone could be targeted by a political opponent using the actual government, the actual government to you know, target the political adversary. That's unacceptable in a free society. We shouldn't have speech targeted or political beliefs targeted.
We should have crimes that are targeted. That's these things are brought into serious question as we look at what's going on in this particular case and the other cases I get against Trump and all these excuse me, and all these are falling apart and varying degrees. This is of course one of them. But what happens And again, is there such a thing as an unbiased juror?
Is that even possible in this case? You look at again as Jonathan Turley talked about the crazy interpretations that this judge is a lot allowing we can almost it seems, according to Turley, the legal expert get to a guilty verdict without really the jury agreeing on what that means. And that's a critical component of our system. Again, trial by jury is an incredibly important concept.
You've heard me say on here before. Some people come on, they'll go on to media outlets and they'll talk about things like we should have professional jurors, we should have people that are paid who are doing this all the
time, this is their career path. They hear evidence. But my friends, that I understand how that appeals to some people, especially if you don't have a deep respect and understanding of especially if that person doesn't have a deeper, deep understanding and respect for our way of living, because because we are the ultimate fail safe, we are the ultimate checkpoint against a government that's out of control, and so we, the American taxpayer, the American voters,
should be on those juries and making sure that whether we like the guy who's on trial or we hate him, whether we agree with his political philosophy or we reject it, whatever the case, that should not have one iota of impact on the case. What should matter. And I know somewhere out there saying that's naive, that's not the way I believe that that's fueling some of
these some of these folks that have opinions. Anyway, there's no way of knowing if it directly impacts the jurors, But I mean it's fair to at least ask the question if that's the place that we have arrived at this particular point in time in twenty twenty four, so will be a hung jury will it be a not guilty verse. I don't know. Going back to the article here says turtly notes that Bragg's key witness, Michael Cohen, is a
convicted perjurer whose credibility is questionable at best. We already we've seen that, We've talked a little bit about Michael Cohen on here. Meanwhile, the article says there is no direct evidence of Trump's intent or knowledge, so prosecutors have relied on circumstantial evidence to persuade jurors. Then there's the fact that non disclosure
agreements in DA's are common and perfectly legal in both business and politics. Turley then explained that the jury will be instructed that payments aren't campaign contributions if they would have been made regardless of the campaign. The defense must also clarify that Trump didn't classify payments as a legal expense. This was done by others in
the Trump organization and Cohen, reflecting standard practice for payments to lawyers. Still, the deck, this article says, has been sta act against Trump. It's not just the partisan prosecutor, judge, and jury, but even the jury instructions seem to be a seemed to be tailored made to ensure a conviction, but Turty still believes a hung jury is likely. I don't know.
I'm I new to know that we're on the precipice of the potential of having something that none of us have ever have ever experienced before, the possibility that a presidential candidate be well, that he's sitting a standing trial right now. On top of that, the possibility of being convicted. Now everybody has an opinion on this. I I actually don't. I don't know what the jury is going to do here. Maybe that's because I served on a jury.
Many of you have served on a jury too. I you know, my experience was such some of those conversations that that we had, it makes me realize that, I mean, there's no there's no way of knowing. There's no way of knowing what goes on in the mind of a an individual juror. We don't know. Some people may have made I hope not Some people may have made up their minds day one that he was guilty or not guilty.
Some people may have found something in the case in the presentation of evidence that either immediately thought he's guilty, you know, made them think he's guilty, and they you know, it didn't matter what else happened, or someone might have thought he's not guilty because of this. I don't know. It's
it's a tough it's a tough thing. I mean, in today's world, in today's world where there's it seems to be two strong opinions that are out there, He's he's either guilty trying to overthrow the government or he's targeted by the government because the government fears him. I do believe that's the case. It's just in that world, in that world where there are such strong feelings, it's just going to be it's hard to predict. It's hard to predict
what's gonna happen. And even beyond that, if he's acquitted, then what if it's a hung jury, then what happens? And of course if he's convicted, then what happens. My own mind, I mean, we're still on this side of the Republican National Convention. But you know, so who knows, who knows what's gonna happen, how that's gonna play out. I don't think Trump's giving up no matter what. I think that's that's an obvious that should be an obvious interpretation of who Trump is and what's going on.
But what happens, what's their next attempt here, what's the next card that they have to play? As we're now within what five or six months of election time. We marched into June, we got June, July, August, September, October, so we've got five months and some change before we actually get to election day. So lots going on with that. We're gonna sit tight, I guess until we hear the hear the verdict from the jury, and then of course figure out what happens from that particular point in time.

All right, my friends, So gonna shift gears as we move into the latter segments of today's program, And I'm just gonna set this up because I don't really have time. I don't really have time to get into this before the break, as we just have about about
a minute about a minute left. So Rashida Talib, Rashida Talib, representative from the state of Michigan, was speaking at an event that the Jerusalem Post call the terrorist event, which I'm gonna that on the other side of the brick. I'm also going to play a little bit about some of the things that she said from that podium. Folks, She's radical, she is radical, she is dangerous, and there's a lot of folks like her, A lot of folks like her in the halls of Congress, people like AOC,
people like Corey Bush, people like Elon Omar, and there's others. You get the guy that's pulling the fire alarms, Jamal Brown, I believe anyway, lots of leftists saying some really dangerous things, even to the point of allegedly supporting I mean, we've seen examples of this in ways before. They're sympathetic to Hamas and of course anti Israel in every measurable and conceivable way. But a timeouts in order here we'll talk about that on the other side of
the break. My friends, you're listening here to conservative not better talk. I am your host, the one, the only tot huff back in just a minute. Welcome back, my friends. So let's look here. This is the headline at the Jerusalem Post. Rashida to Lee again, this is a representative from the state of Michigan serving in the United States Congress, Representative
Rashida tale Beatin's conference honoring Terrorists hosting terrorist speaker. Now, there's going to be some names in here that if I mispronounce, it is not intentional. It's just that I I typically read more than actually hear things, and sometimes even hearing things, people don't pronounce the name correctly. But so if I get this wrong, it's not intentional. Here we go. This is what
the Jerusalem Post says. The keynote speaker to the event was Sonata to Ka, the wife of p f LP terrorist Walid Daka, imprisoned for the abduction, torture and murder of Israeli soldier Moshi Tamam. Michigan congress Woman Rashida Talib spoke on Saturday at a Detroit pro Palestinian conference that advocated on behalf of terrorism, honored terrorists, and featured as a member of a terrorist organization as a panelist. So they featured a member of a terrorist organization as a panelist on
at this event. Tale made a surprise appearance at the People's Conference for Palestine, an event that saw dozens of ant of the anti Israel groups involved in the post October seventh protest in attendance, while Deerborn Mayor Abdullah Hamaud gave a video address. The May twenty fourth through twenty sixth, the conference is set to have Wassam Raffiti as a speaker at a workshop on Sunday, the last day of the event. According to Amnesty International, Raffiti is an activist for
the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. The PFLP is designated as a foreign terrorist organization by the United States State Department. The keynote speaker at the event was Sanada Ka du Quah, the wife of p PFLP terrorist Walid Daca, who for whom one of the rooms was named The kad died from bone marrow cancer in an Israeli prison on April eighth. He was originally in prison for commanding the PFLP cell that abducted, tortured, and murdered Israeli soldier Moshi
to in nineteen eighty four. Daka was referenced several times at the conference, including by Palestinian activists Tara Alami, who also spoke at length about I don't even want to read that. I'm okay, fine, I'll read it about siemens smuggling through which Taka's daughter, Milade was conceived in honor of wal Walid and all the martyrs will continue to to fight until all political prisoners are freed and Palestine is liberated, said co organizer Answer Coalition on Instagram on Sunday.
I got the rest of this on in the stack of stuff. But Rashida Talib is that's that's where she is, That's where she's focusing her efforts. That's who she's hanging out with, That's who she's she shares opinions apparently with shares viewpoints with. So I've got from another article here. Now this is this is a montage of things that Rashida Talib said from the podium at this particular conference. So bear with me here. We'll see how much of this
we end up getting through. It's a couple minutes in length. I'm not saying we'll do all of it, but I just want you to get a flavor of this because she goes after Biden a little bit and this as well. Of course she goes after him from completely the wrong reasons, but nonetheless
she does go after Biden. But let's listen to this. This is Rashida Talib at the event that I just shared information with you about, talking about Hamas and terrorists in a very favorable way, demonizing what she calls the genocidal government of Israel, our out the only quote unquote democracy or Western type of government in in the Middle East, and yet she has problems with Israel for reasons that are completely fabricated, blown out of proportion. Israel is maligned,
is lied about on a regular basis. Israel, like anyone else, is not perfect, but they certainly are not akin to the way that they are being described by Representative Rashida to leave in this clip. So this gives you an idea. Here she is at the podium. Oh, welcome, Welcome to the most beautiful, blackest city in the country, the city of Detroit. I don't know if I need to remind you all, but Detroit rebirth movements, not just labor movements, rebirth movements, on environmental justice, on
women's rights, and so much more. So, welcome gainst from this amazing, beautiful black city that raised me. I don't need to tell you that you're on the right side. I don't need to. Here we go, but I'll be damned if I wait ten years before they apologize to all of you for doing what was right at this moment. Each year, our country and I say our country because it is our country. Well, no, kids, it sends billions of dollars to maintain an apartheid government we're at the
ongoing ethnic cleansing of Palestinian unbelieving. It is disgraceful that the Biden administration and my colleagues in Congress continue to smear them for protesting to save lives, no matter faith or ethnicity. It is cowardly. But we're not going to forget in November, are we? The International Court? There you go so and then she talks about the International Court. You get the idea what this is
all about. This is an Israel bashing Hamas supporting event, and they've got lots of people here, and they've got lots of people who have political power. I guess people like Rashida to Lead, who show up at events like this, who speak She referenced the article reference the mayor who participated by video. I mean, this is this is craziness. But then she goes after Biden, which again you know, I am not a obviously not a defender
of Joseph Robinette bribery. In fact, I think that the Democrat Party has turned not just one blind eye, but two blind eyes to what is actually happening in Biden's administration. They are ignoring all of the signs that this guy doesn't know what's going on. Number one. Number two, this guy, this guy has single handedly destroyed the economy, has destroyed the integrity of our border. We have wide open border where nothing is done to prevent people from
crossing over. There's all sorts of consequence. This is from that we've already seen that cities have blue cities, by the way, have complained about the burden of the cost that's being placed upon them due to illegal immigrants in their cities. Of course, they don't blame Biden. Typically she blamed him here for what funding the genocidal government of Israel, as she says, But this is what this is what I think if we're going to criticize Biden, we
should pick some of these things. The way that he's abandoned Americans around the globe in places like Afghanistan. How many times in Haiti people were told, hey, man, we don't know you're on your own right. This has repeatedly been repeatedly been how this government has responded and acted under President Joseph Robinette Bribery. Now, I do think it's good that the left is going after him, or that people within his political party are going after him, because
there's lots to go after him for, but not for this again. She's calling out Joe Biden here because she says that he's enabling and helping and supporting a government in Israel that's committing genocide on apartheid state. And then she tells that audience that hey, we're not going to forget this. We're going to remember this in November. And the audience cheers, by the way, not entirely sure what to make of that. I do know what I mean,
where are they going to vote for? Who are they going to vote for? They're going to vote for for RFK. Speaking of that, I've got the Libertarian Party acknowledging or telling the world who their candidate's going to be. We'll get to that after the break. Anyway, Democrats are going after Biden just for the wrong things, all right, So want to pause there, square us up for the final segment of the hour. We're going to talk
about the Libertarian parties candidate for president. But before we do that, my friends, let me remind you that nick nac Naturals is here to help you crush your vice. So, if you are currently using nicotine products, products like cigarettes, products like chewing tobacco products like vaping. If you're using those products, you want to crush your vice. dot com in ic nac nicknack dot com. He's my name, Todd. You're going to save fifteen percent on your purchase there nicknack dot com promo code Todd. So when we get back, I want to share with you with the Libertarians who the Libertarians are supporting for president of the United States. And it's not anybody that anybody's heard of. So we'll get to that on the other side of the brick, my friends. In the meantime, sit tight. You're listening here to conservative not better Talk. I am your host,
the one, the only Todd Huff back in just a minute. Welcome back, my friends. Here we are in the last segment of the hour. I know that you are very upset because we don't have that much time left to spend together. But if you're not my friends, you can always go back to the website and listen to anything you may have missed along the way Toat have show dot com. You can go there. You can sign up to receive our free weekly column. You can go there to listen to previous
versions of the podcast. You can join and become a member of our Inner Circle off the website totufshow dot com. So let us look here. Let us look here at a headline Daily Caller. Libertarian Party rejects Trump and RFK backs pro transformer Democrat for president. That's the headline at the Daily Caller. Let me say this. I just had a friend reach out to me the other day. I put a call out. I put a call out for
people who have for the Inner Circle. One of the things I want to do is help people have a the best understanding of the ideas of liberalism and even the ideas of the radical left or moderates, just things that are different from conservative ideas. Now, I will maintain that the vast majority of Americans are conservative and simply don't really understand what that means, or they don't know it. They don't know how to apply that to a political or so manipulated
in politics. But they don't always know how to apply that politically. But anyway, one of the things I've sought to do is to find people who have differing ideas, people who are liberals, people who are moderates, people who are maybe even radical leftists, if they can keep it together and not you know, not burn the whole thing down because of their behavior, because
we won't tolerate that. But I want people to hear. I want people to hear ideas that are different than ours, just so that we understand, right, so that we understand even not to not to get into some debate with them, but to ask them to explain their ideas, so that we have a firmer better understanding. Now, one of my high school a guy that was you know, played football with us, and how I grew up with him. He was he was We went through all the grades together,
a small school, so I knew him fairly well. He reached out to me and said, hey, i'd be interested. And what caught my attention was I thought he had told me he was becoming more conservative. I don't know the language he used, but he was definitely because I'm a more liberal, limited government kind of guy. And I said, oh, you know,
I'm looking for liberals, like what help me understand? You know, I don't want to like just generally label you, but just help me understand where you kind of fall on that continuum, and he says he's He says, I think, I, you know, I take the tests or whatever that's worth. The tests show that I'm libertarian, But he says, I feel like I'm more of a moderate. I say on this I may have said on this program, I feel like I'm eighty five percent libertarian in the
sense of the core principles. There's some issues that I disagree about, but when it comes to the general concept of the federal government is too big. Liberty has been trampled on by people in government and including by the way, both both of the main political parties, primarily by one, but certainly by both. I'm not I'm on board with that. I'm on board with that. I mean, I think there's a lot of libertarian ideas that are certainly in my belief system. But I don't get this. I don't get this.
The Libertarian Party I'm reading from this article here has rejected former president Donald Trump and independent Robert F. Kennedy Junior, and nominated activists Chase Oliver for their presidential nominee. According to a party announcement, that the nomination comes after the former president and Independent Canada. Each gave speech as you may have seen this recently before the crowd at the national Convention, making their cases for libertarian
support. Oliver secured the nomination in the seventh round of voting, received nearly sixty percent of the vote. According to Fox News Digital, I will continue to bring a hopeful and positive message of liberty to both those who consider themselves libertarian and those who don't know they are libertarian yet, Oliver said in his related victory address. According to Fox News, Oliver told The Daily Caller that he is quote proud to be the voice for liberty as the Libertarian Party's candidate
for president. He said, he and his running mate Mike Turmont again, forgive me if I'm mispronouncing, that will bring a unifying message of true freedom and liberty to all fifty states, especially to the Gen Z and Millennial generations, who are exceedingly dissatisfied with the broken two party system. I don't know why one generation is more worthy of liberty than the others, but nonetheless,
that's what he said. The newly minted presidential contender previously supported Democrats and presidential President Obama's campaign. The Guardian reported, however, he soured on the party due to its support of the wars in the Middle East. In a twenty twenty two post on x he explained that Obama was the reason he left the Democrats to find an anti war party. The tweets said, this, Barack Obama, the guy who ran ending wars, this was back in October of
twenty twenty two, who didn't and got a Peace prize. Anyway, is coming to campaign for the Dems. Remind him of his failed promises and the thousands of dead innocence from his drone bombings. He's why I left the Democrats to find an anti war party. It's just I just, folks. If you have someone who was supporting the Democrats as recently as Obama, I just
don't see how anyway remotely possible. This is the person who is going to be representing what the Libertarian Party stands for as a party of of limited government an individual liberty. That's certainly not what the political left does. But there you go. There you have it. You can find more about that on the website tatfshow dot com stack stuff. But I gotta go, my friends, Thanks for listening. SDG
