Episode description

Biden approval numbers at 33%. The media and Radical Left only amplify their talking points, so discussing Biden’s approval rating is being ignored. Donald Trump’s campaign team put together a satirical ad called White House Senior Living. Jen Psaki is spinning Biden’s age to be an advantage. Attention. You're listening to the Tod Huff Radio Show, America's home for conservative not bitter talk radio. Be advised. The content of this program has been documented to prevent and even cure liberalism, and listening they cause you to lean to the rights. Here's your conservative but not Bitter host, Todd Huff. Well, greetings, my friends, and welcome to today's episode of The Tod Huff Show. It is a pleasure to be here. The email address,

you know, the routine. If you want to be part of the conversation Todd at tod Huffshow dot com three one seven two one zero twenty eight thirty. That's where you can text us as well, not us me three one seven two one zero twenty eight thirty. And of course, just make sure that it counts. Make it count. Most of you do. On occasion I find someone who doesn't understand the magnitude of the opportunity to speak with yours truly here behind the microphone. But most of you do. Most of you

get it. Thoughts, questions, feedback, adoration and praise will always be expected. So campaign season is of course now heating up. I don't know if you saw this. The Biden Joe Biden's approval numbers. Let me pull this up just so I can get it exactly right, just so I can get it exactly right. But Joe Biden's approval numbers this is crazy. I mean, it's where well, it's still higher than it should be, but it's still remarkable to read this. Biden's approval numbers are at thirty three thirty

three percent. You know, on this program, from time to time we reference, we reference a montage that Rush used to play on his program when George W. Bush's approval rating hit what was it thirty six percent? Back in this was two thousand I want to say two thousand and six, It might have been two thousand and five somewhere in that. In that timeframe, and every segment that wolf Blitzer came back to actually not even I don't know

if it was every segment have I been every other sentence breaking news. Here at the top of the hour, President Bush's approval numbers dropped to an all time low of thirty six percent. Here we are at five two three minutes after the top of the hour, President Bush's numbers dropped to an all time low of thirty six percent. I mean, it was. It was one after another. It was like every other sentence that that media, so called

media outlet has been absolutely pathetic for as long as I can remember. This is nearly twenty years ago, fifteen, eighteen, whatever, twenty years ago. They were freaking out because of course that was their intent, just like

it's always been. You know, when I make the observation, and I've done it on this program, when I say that the media has attacked Trump, the media plan for dealing with Trump is the same plan that it was for all the other Republicans that they wanted to defeat or stop or you know, cause to cower from the fear of the pushback of negative press and all this sort of stuff. It's the same strategy they attack. But see, the reason it's gotten to this level, this fevered pitch, is because Trump

fights back. I mean, if you understand that, which I know the vast majority of you do. Some may not be willing to accept that yet, But if you understand that right there, you understand, I don't know,

a pretty healthy percentage of what's going on in this country today. You've got a media, one of the seven pillars of propaganda, who is there as the pr firm for the Democrat Party, carrying the water for the Democrat Party, helping elect Democrat officials, helping to silence people who have questions about anything pertaining to election integrity. You can't even ask the question, you can't

even point something out, you can't even have a discussion. They are there to silence that, to give all of the credibility, all of the amplification of what's being said to the left. They want to amplify the talking points of the left, and they want to silence, discredit, mock, misrepresent the points that those of us on the conservative side of the aisle, the Republican side of the island. I'm a conservative. I don't consider myself a

Republican. I'm not even a fan of party politics if you get right down to it. But I also understand realities, and right now, the Republican parties, excuse me, their conservative movements, the lover of the lovers of liberty. Our best hope lies within the Republican Party. I hate them. I mean, there's a lot of problems with that, I understand, But there's no other vehicle, politically speaking, that can accomplish what the Republicans could

do if they decided to do that. But if you understand that Trump and what's happening between Trump and the media, the other seven pillars of propaganda. If you understand that, the media does what it's always done, which is attack Republican candidates. But what happens in the case of Trump, It didn't

happen with any other candidate, any other politicans. It might have happened a couple of times in the sense of someone might have fought back a little bit once or twice, but you have the media attack, and then you have Usually that's enough for the average Republican. They apologize, they change their position, whatever the case may be, they go and hide, they stop running

for office, whatever. That's all it takes is the first attack. On occasion, you have a media attack, and then a Republican's response to that, they'll punch back. Then the media attacks again, and that usually is enough to stop whoever is remaining in the group that didn't quit the first time. And on very very rare occasion, you might find someone who fights back a second time. But under no circumstances in modern history have we found someone

who fights back. I mean, whatever it is, it's one plus the in if in is the number of attacks being levied by the media, the seven pillars of propaganda. Trump's going to add one to it. It's not going to stop. This strategy does not work on Trump. It has run

its course. It has run its course, and at some point, as we're seeing from these approval numbers, the average American is forced to look at the person who is currently occupying sixteen hundred Pennsylvania Avenue, the current regime leader, if you will, the current President of the United States, Joseph Robinette Biden, President Bribery himself. At some point, the average American is going to have to look at who is in the White House and say, is

this person really doing their job? Am I Am I better off than I was now it's three years ago? Do I feel more optimistic? Is the world a better place? Remember? We were told these things. I get, I know we hit on this yesterday. But we were told that Trump was gonna start World War three. We were told in the last days that Trump was in office, Nancy Pelosi tried to prevent him from having the nuclear codes because she'd just thought, I guess he was gonna start lobbing nukes all

over the world. This is such phony nonsense. It is not real. It is completely fuel or food or whatever for those who want to consume the idea, or who are consumed is probably a better way of saying it, consumed by the argument and the idea that Trump is a menace to society, a danger to the world, the greatest threat this nation has ever had in

the White House. And so that sort of it's been created the people that hate Trump, who can't even stand his name to be uttered, who don't want his on a ballot, who want the guy not only to be imprisoned. Heck, there's a percentage out there that would love the guy to be on you know, capital uh, be on death row or at least spend time in the hole, right, I mean, they want this guy to suffer. It's about retribution. How dare this man? Oh just And you

ask them why, and they don't know. They'll repeat some ridiculous talking point. Trump's racist, Trump's this, Trump's that, and this is all that they've got. And this is all the byproduct of the battle of the back and forth between Trump and the media, Trump and the Democrat Party, Trump and the other seven pillars of propaganda, going back and forth they attack him. He responds, they attack him back. He responds again, this is

not going to end. That's why we have this wedge, this rift between the American people has been exposed and pushed apart to levels that we have not seen in recent years. That's why I say, by the way, man, it's remarkable to think about the power of this. But most people you'll hear me say, eighty percent of this country would agree with eighty percent of the things that I say on this program. And of course I think they

should agree with one hundred percent. One hundred percent of the American people should agree with one hundred percent of the things being said on this program. Why wouldn't they? But I do think that eighty percent of the people agree with

eighty percent of the things that that you and I think. And so I from an idea perspective, and if you take out names, and you take out labels, if you take out conservative liberal leftists, if you take out Trump and Biden, or you take away dark brand, dark brand, and I got a SoundBite about about that dark Brandon. You take away you know, make America great again, You take away all the talking points and you

just talk ideas. You just talk liberty, you just talk. This is why we won the issue, by the way, Well, we've won the arguments, we haven't won politically yet. But this is why. This is why we have won, at least as far as gaining support for border security. Now, nothing's happened, and it may not happen. Don't misunderstand me,

But the American people are in complete agreement. We've got Democrat governors that are begging Abbot to stop sending illegal aliens to their states because they cannot take care of them. It is causing a massive problem. Meanwhile, they also want to be a sanctuary state for illegal immigrants. Well, if you're a sanctuary state, then you should want to take as many as possible. Right.

Well, it turns out reality sinks in at some point and you're going to have to do something that makes sense with budgets and policies, and you just can't have open borders and take in as many people as can come into your state because it just doesn't work that way. It just doesn't work that way. It doesn't matter how generous you are. If you've completely obliterated all

of your resources, there's nothing else to be generous with. You can't be generous if you don't have you have to have a level of prosperity to be able to give something, and we've exhausted that in this country. And so this divide, this divide is all about the person of Trump. This divide is all about the you know the terms republican, democratic, conservative, liberal,

leftist, whatever. But when you get down to it, most people, most people actually still love the ideas that this country was based upon. Most people still are in favor of free speech. Most people still are in favor the free press. It doesn't mean that you can't even attack the press, question the press, if you talk about the discussions. And this is why. If you understand that, and you understand the objective of the media, the media is an extension of the Democrat Party. They are their pr

firm. They do their dirty work sometimes. But when you understand that and you understand what's at stake, the left, the radical left, thinks that they are metaphorical millimeters away from having a permanent governing authority over this country. And once they have that, they think that they can remake it. They've begun that processes. While these things are not all linear, sometimes they're happening

at the same time. But once they have control over this country from a governing perspective, from a legislating perspect they are going to remake it in the image of what they desire, which is less liberty for us, more control for them, more taxation, more government promises, more so called utopia. And so you throw all this into the mix, and you can see why this is. This is it's a blazing inferno as it is, but there's much more kindling for this to spread, to be even more intense, because

it is not going away. It is not going away. This will not end until one side prevails, until one side actually wins, until one side actually wins the argument and has has the ability to carry out its agenda through the consent of the government, through the will of the people. At that point, my friends, at that point, my friends, we can talk about true reconciliation. You can't reconcile until someone what are we reconciling? Right?

If you have one side that wants to remake this nation from scratch, toss away the constitution and limit the freedom of people, create a socialist economy, and you've got another side that wants to embrace liberty and freedom and all that the Bill of Rights, free markets, there's no there's no reconciling. One of those ideas have to win. One of those ideas have to win. I think pretty confident in saying that the vast majority of people want what

we talk about, but it's muddied, it's made to be that. They conflate it. They the media conflate what the battle is actually about it. They make it about Trump, and they cause people to hate him, and you can see where bad things begin to happen. Intentions begin to boil, boil over in some cases. So Biden's at thirty three Since the Trump train is moving forward, Biden's at thirty three percent, the Left's got to do something about this, and so the left I wanted to play this next segment.

Jen Saki has a couple of people that are on the Biden campaign. She's interviewing them and she's talking about, well, they're spinning. They're spinning Biden's age to be an advantage for Joseph Robinette Biden Dark Brandon as they call him, or President Bribery as I call him. So we'll play that sound bite and discuss on the other side of the break, my friends. But a time out is in order. Here you're listening to conservative, not bitter talk. I am your host, the one, the only, the ever

so beloved Todd huff back in just a minute. Welcome back to my friends. So, as I'm going through my head about how I want to approach this this segment, actually I'm reminded of something that I want to I want to hit on here as well. So I've got a couple things that I do I do want to play for you. But we referenced last segment, Biden's approval ratings hit a fifteen year This is a tweet fifteen year low. Only thirty three percent of Americans approve. That's an ABC ipsus pole ipsos.

His approval rating drops to thirty three percent. Thirty three percent. Now many people this is RedState dot com, which is again this will be in the stack of stuff if you want to look at it. Disastrous historically low approval numbers for Biden. This is the headline shocking, how many think he isn't capable. Capable is the keyword here. Capable. So this ties into what Jensaki is going to be talking about as I as I frame this up to

play either later, this segment or early next. But before I talk about that, I want to talk about something I referenced even yesterday on the program. And I don't know if you have seen this or not. I referenced it quickly. Trump's team put together a I mean, it's kind of a satirical I say satirical, but it's it is based in some amount of reality, but it's it's satire, it's it's parody. It's uh, it's an ad that they have released, and it's called what do they call it?

The white House Senior Living? White House Senior Living. And I'm gonna try to pull this up because again I wasn't thinking of playing this until the break, and I thought this, this will set the stage as to drawing the metaphorical battle lines between between these what do you want to say, these dueling narratives about what's going on with Biden, his ability to cognitively lead this nation and so forth. So I want to play. Sorry, I've got an

article about it, but I've also got the video. This is only about forty seconds. It's white House Senior Living is what this ad is called. And then sorry, the music just played in my ear. This is fantastic now, I know that some people don't like this. Some people say, you know, this is making fun of elderly people. I'm not comfortable. Look, I've made it clear on this program. I don't take any joy in watching any person. If I agree with them, I don't agree with

them, family member, stranger. I mean, it's not a good thing to watch this happen to anybody. I'm not reveling in this, but this is political speech, and political with political speech, it is important that you can make your point and sometimes it's got to be offensive folks. I know by having this program that I step into that. Phray as well. You gotta have some thick skin. You got to understand that this is going to

happen to everybody at some point. And remember, for those who are out there bemoaning this, they were totally cool with Kathy Griffin holding Trump's severed head on the cover of what was a Time magazine or some such thing, doing her best impersonation of an IS terrorists when she held a very realistic looking severed head of Trump with blood dripping all over the place on the cover. Again, I may have the magazine wrong. I believe it was Time magazine.

It could be It could have been something else, but I think it was time totally. They're totally cool with that. But if you point out that this president that's currently occupying the White House is not in the best of conditions to be making these decisions, that's considered crossing the line. You have to be able to allow people the ability to freely express especially these ideas, these

ideas that matter. You got to be able to point it out. And sometimes by mocking it a little bit, maybe a lot, you can draw some additional attention to it that people wouldn't maybe ordinarily pay attention to. If you were always very serious, not entertaining and engaging, you wouldn't be able to make the point. And so this is political speech. This stuff has to be allowed to happen. So with that being said, let me play I didn't let me play this for you. Here it is cold on hearing.

Hold on here, this thing keeps resetting. All right. There we go at White House Senior Living. Our residents feel right at home. Our vibrant facility offers delightful activities and outings round the clock, professional care, video

and exquisite housemade meals. Everything is putting from me. I'm need all Italian food based ice cream and ice cream, chocolate chip ice cream and ice cream, White House senior living where residents feel like presidents, where residents feel like its now what you couldn't see from that, it's in the stack of stuff. I'll make sure it's in today's stack as well, but it was in

yesterday's stack. And what you couldn't see was the b roll footage. You couldn't see the b roll footage of doctor Jill Biden putting on President Bribery's jacket. You couldn't see him eating the slice of pizza, sitting there with doctor Jill during an interview when you could hear her say, you like, what

about the ice cream? You like the ice cream? And it just feels like it sounds like it definitely sounds like But if you saw it, it has the feel of, you know, promoting some sort of what assisted living, maybe even even a nursing home feel. But there's a reason for this, my friends, you have you can see that thirty three percent of Americans still approve of Biden for whatever reason, which I would maintain is that he's not Trump. That's what they approve of. His last name isn't Trump.

They don't care or know about Hunter Biden and the laptop, or they think Hunter Biden and the Laptop is about getting even with Hunter Biden, embarrassing him, exposing him. They don't care about what's happening around the world. We've got Hoot these firing missiles at US. We've got Israel and Hamas that whole disaster. We've got Ukraine, of course, we've got Taiwan and China,

those tensions are increasing. We've got inflation here still ticked back up in December, not nearly to what it was, but still higher than it should be. We've got problems all around, a wide open border, and you have a president on top of all that, on top of all that, who is not worthy of the confidence of the American people. And that's what this

ad is about. So I'm gonna take a time out. We're gonna get to Jensaki's interview segment, a short segment where they're going to try to spend this, not the ad in particular, but they're going to try to say, Okay, they're attacking President Biden's age, and by the way, it's not his age that they're attacking. They're attacking his cognitive abilities they're attacking whether he or not he is qualified to actively be making decisions for the American people

in the White House. Those of us that pay attention know that he's not the one making these calls. Who is that person? Why do they have the authority in power? Did we ever vote for them? Right? These are fundamentally important questions to a free people in our constitutional republic that we're not allowed to ask. By the way, anyway, we'll get to that on the other side of the break timeouts in order, though, my friends sit tight back here in just a minute. Welcome back, my friends. So,

so I want to play this sound bite. I want to play this SoundBite of Jin Saki interviewing a couple of individuals who are running or who are responsible for significant portions. Of course, ultimately I think one of them is the campaign director of Biden's campaign for Biden's campaign. But before I do that, I want to tell you about my pillow dot com slash todd. Actually,

the retail component, a lot of those retail components. And I believe I just want to make sure before I say this definitively because I remember seeing this last last week as well. But yeah, my pillow that they were they were canceled as they sent us an email, sent me an email on Friday they'd been canceled by Fox by Fox News. I don't know what that entirely means. Check it out. Support someone who's being canceled for, of course, their support of President Trump. Let's get let's get into this SoundBite, this clip that I have referenced here for a little bit. Now, this is Jinsaki speaking with a couple of

folks that are responsible for running Biden's campaign. And so I played last segment the ad about White House Senior living the Trump campaigns kind of parody or mock mocking. I guess of what's going on in the White House today, and so the campaign, the Biden campaign, this is a big enough problem even before Trump's gonna go hit this head on. And we're in January. Remember we're just now getting through the Iowa caucuses. We're not even close in political

terms to election. Dam of course we are getting close, but there's still a long time in the political world between today and when we would cast our final ballots for president of the United States. So they have to address this. There is no hiding from this any longer. Thirty three percent approval rating.

Many people do not trust Biden's ability to be making these decisions. They question his capability, and so, of course, as they normally do, they take an issue that's clearly the case, clearly something that the American people are concerned with, and they spend it or they take a portion of it and say, oh, we want to address his age. My friends, this is not about age, This is about capabilities. This is about cognitive

abilities. But they want to take something you know, age. As we age, it is not uncommon, unfortunately, to lose or to slow in some of those ways, and so they want to conflate this. This is agism, This is inappropriate. Trump's not that much younger than Biden. This is not about age. This is about cognitive abilities, and they're going to try to spin this to say that this is a good thing. Now. They won't spend the cognitive ability part. They don't want to even mention that.

They just want to make this about age and how this is actually advantageous. Advantageous for for president is the president's age. A lot of this, in my view, was driven by kind of right wing efforts to make him seem old and senile, and that was never my experience. He's the age he is. But it still is an issue to combat right it pops and

polls. It is something that comes up in focus groups. You Rob were a part of, I know, not alone, but kind of flipping the dark brandom meme to make it more of a winner, probably to the anger of the people who are screaming, you know, let's go brand and at events, how do you combat this kind of ongoing attack on his age and these attacks and suggestions that he's not up for the job. So the American people know Joe Biden's age, they also know that with that age comes wisdom,

comes experience, comes judgment. That's why they elected him in the first place. And I would also say that they understand that those qualities stand and start contrast to everybody else on the other side, particularly was it relates to Donald Trump. Yeah, I mean, I think there's like three different things

that I think about when we're tackling this. One is like the dark Brandon stuff works because yes it's funny and yes it's sort of meme, but also it is based in that truth the aviators with like shooting out of them. I don't know if you're responsible for that, but that was my favorite. The best part about it is that we're not actually responsible for it. It's it's a bunch of people who support this president for doing it themselves. That

speaks to a core truth about the president's experience, the core truth. Jinsaki or they excuse me, the campaign manager said. The American people know Joe Biden's age. Yeah, okay, I don't know that that's true. People know that he's older than most presidents, would be the oldest president ever. They also know that with that age, he says, comes wisdom, comes experience. Oh yes, and a lifetime of being in Washington, d C. Also comes. Well, he didn't say this, but he might as

well. Becoming a lifetime politician shows that you know how to work Washington, d C. To the advantage of the American people. Give me a break. This stuff is pathetic. This is the best that they've got, absolute silly nonsense. I've got to take a break. My friends back in just a minute. Welcome back, my friends. By the way, I won't forget this, but in case I run out of time before being able to

mention in this. Between now and the end of the program, I would like to wish our youngest little one, our youngest little one, Audrey, a happy tenth birthday. She turns double digits today. Happy birthday, Odor. She is the uh, she's the baby. She's the one who is I coach in basketball. The others, the older two, they play soccer, but not not so much basketball or anything like that. But Audrey, she loves it. So anyway, we've started started a little travel team that

we actually played our first couple of games this weekend. We split. We split those games one and one, so we've got some work to do.

Anyway, Happy birthday, Happy birthday to Audrey. So just as we're thinking about this, campaign, right, we listened to how the other side is just gonna has just spun, how they will try to spend what is a clear, an absolutely clear disadvantage if you for the Biden campaign, for the Biden administration, it's an absolute disadvantage to have a candidate who is demonstrating some of the behavior that we see demonstrated on now a regular basis by Joe Biden.

This is considered the best candidate the Democrats can deliver. In fact, I saw I saw a poll. I don't have it in the stack of stuff. I might have had it in the stack of stuff recently. I can't remember when this was. I remember reading it. Democrats are when they looked at the candidate of choice, I think Biden. Twenty percent of them picked Biden as their choice, but Biden was not the top choice. I think the top choice might have been I think I saw Michelle Obama on that

list. I think she was on there. She might have been number one. But there were a lot of candidates, right, so I think Elizabeth Warren was on there. Maybe Pete boot Edge Edge was on there. I can't remember who else who else was on that on that list, And I think Michelle Obama. I don't know if Oprah was on that one or not, but of course her name will pop up from time to time. But it's a real disadvantage for Biden to be the candidate that you are trying to

get elected. He is not an electable candidate. Everything that we talked about in the beginning of this program is necessary, is necessary in order for people to cast a vote for Biden. You have to drive people to huge amounts of fear over the opponent of Biden, who is President Trump. This is the strategy, This is how this is going to be. This is why if you're still in denial that this is going to be an average campaign that

needs to be removed from the thinking immediately. There's nothing that's going to be average about this. The stakes are high. We know that Trump is going to fight back. We know that the media has one way of dealing with this, and that is to increase the levels of attack on the Republican candidate until he or she capitulates, gives in, stops fighting, goes to prison, gets put in the hole, gets put on death row, whatever whatever

it takes. Again, it's the Seinfeld Newman strategy. Whatever it takes. I actually watched, actually watched Sunday Night a couple of old Seinfelds. They never disappoint Keith Hernandez and the Magic Loogie was what I watch. That's fantastic, by the way. Anyhow, so you've got this scenario Seinfeld Newman strategy.

Whatever it takes, as long as it takes them, so long as it takes Trump out of the White House prevents them from going back anyway, So buckle up, it's going to be interesting timeouts in order my friends back here to wrap up in just a minute. All right, my friends, Unfortunately all the time that we have today, but I do want to say this. I do want to say this. I know we're on in several actually thirteen new markets, and it's a pleasure if you've just stumbled upon this

program here in the past couple of weeks. We started two weeks ago January second, but of course we were out, we were out with some personal personal things to tend to, and I've shared that in last week, so one of the last week's shows. But you can listen if you missed anything, if you'd like to get more acquainted with the program, if you're not able to listen on the radio. You can always go to t upshow dot com, slash listen, or wherever you would download a podcast and check us
