Attention. You're listening to the Todd Huff radio show, America's home for conservative not bitter talk radio. Be advised. The content of this program has been documented to prevents and even cure liberalism, and listening may cause you to lean to the right. Here's your conservative but not Bitter host, Todd Hoff. Well, my friends, we knew that this day was coming. We knew that it was going to happen. In last night, the House of Representatives
past the debt limit deal to avert crisis. That's right, to avert a default on our debt and the collapse of this country as we know it. Of Course, the truth is, by never truly dealing with the root problems in this bill or in financially in this country, we actually make the problem worse and worse and worse. So just you know, I don't want to
talk too much about this. I feel like if you listen to this program, and if if you just use the logic as well, if you did either one of those things, you know, you knew what was happening, You knew that this was going to pass, you knew that this is the best that we are going to get. Is that the best we're going to get because that's the best option available. I don't know, is that the best we're going to get with our current leadership? You bet you, you
bet you. And that's where we are. And this is why Matt Gates and this is why Lauren Boebert and others who were resistant to a speaker McCarthy, this is why, this is precisely why they were correct. Now there's already calls. Who did I see was calling somebody. Somebody's already called for Dan Bishop, Representative Dan Bishop, first Republican to call for removing McCarthy as
speaker over this debt deal. So again, as we went through this earlier in the week, I think it might have been Tuesday, it might have been Tuesday, we went through this, we talked about the lessons, the lessons that are right there to be to be learned. I do want to say that McCarthy is facing certain realities. Right we only have control of the House of Representatives. I say we. I don't even know if I want
to put myself in the same group with with most of these folks. It's it's again, even though it's we knew we were going to be here,
it's still quite just I don't know. I don't get discouraged, and as it pertains to the politics and so forth, but what's it going to take, right, what's it going to take for there to be real substantive change These jokers and clowns and cowards and leftists and lovers a big government and people who love to take large amounts of donations so that they can spend more of the taxpayer money on certain interests and so forth. This is just a wreck,
a disaster that we're dealing with. So again, the media is spinning this as a way to prevent a catastrophic event, a catastrophic default, as CNN has it here on their website. But the truth is, the truth is, and I'm not look, I'm not saying I'm saying that there are things that could be done besides besides this, right, there are there are certain things that could be that could be done, but there's just not the will. There's just not the will amongst our elected officials. And again some
of the lessons are McCarthy doesn't have the power. McCarthy basically we knew walking into the negotiations that he was going to ultimately agree with whatever was on the table. As the clock began to tick out. That's the way I see it. And I knew this. You you knew this months and months ago. We knew this when he was sworn in as speaker. There's a part of us that said, well, maybe he'll stand up firmly and strongly and so forth. But again, I just there's no man, this is gonna
sound. I'm really this is not meant to be personal. But I don't think that there's any real principle here. I think we're dealing with the speaker who likes having the position he's I think he's trying to satisfy different factions within his party and work within reality. And that's a part of this, right. I mean, we have to acknowledge that Democrats have control the Senate, Democrats have control of the White House. Everybody's afraid of having this responsibility or
this blame, I should say, thrust upon them for catastrophic default. But no one seems to be concerned about the real catastrophe that's brewing over the horizon just out of view. Although the signs and the warnings are everywhere, no one seems concerned about that because that's not their problem. They're going to be long gone by the time that those chickens, as Jeremiah Right would say,
come home to roost. They don't have to worry about that. Your kids, my kids, actually, more likely my grandkids, my great grandkids, probably my great great great grandkids. If this nation is still standing after these leftists have been in control of what's happening in Washington, DC. Anyway, So I don't want to talk much about it. But that's where that's where we stand. I don't even have the number the vote total in front of me, do I. Um, let's see fifty two Democrats voted yes.
Oh no, that was a particular that was a that was a procedural thing. I don't see the vote total in front of me. But nonetheless, it pet doesn't matter. It's like what asking what the score was? Asking what the score was? Um, you know, it doesn't. It matters who wins the championship. So anyway, that being said, I want to get that out of the way. Greetings and welcome to the program. I'm your host, Todd huff. If you want to be part of today's discussion,
you can email Todd at Todd Huffshow dot com. You can also text us yes my friends. You can text us and I will text back. I usually do give me time. You gotta make it count though, in fact, I've had some examples. Actually I'm going to read one of these messages. James, you do a good job. James will text in from time to time. He's one of our more regular texters. But James texted
in and said, good morning, Todd, and welcome home. See that's a listener that knows we just got back to the great state of Indiana. Your show this morning was fire, which of course I have to agree with James on that, and he used the icon for the fire, which adds to the intrigue of this. It's like you were reading my thoughts from yesterday period. And then he gives his gracious sign off, to which I replied, and he said, oops, I forgot the adoration and praise. I
was a little behind schedule today. I won't forget next time. So it happens. You know, there wasn't the quite the appropriate amount of adoration and praise, though I think it was. It was in there. But I've got other examples that I won't read at the moment that they need to work on that a little bit more. But I respond to the text as well, and I appreciate those of you that do message in and I look, I read these, I listen. I want to know what you're thinking.
I want to know what you want to talk about and that sort of thing. And this is one way that you can actually influence, influence what happens here on this program. So I want to start. I guess we technically have started, but I want to start today. I want to start today not by talking about, of course, the debt ceiling, which technically we did. I just don't want to spend I don't want to spend time on
that. I actually want to start on some things that are happening from a political outside of the what's happening inside the chamber right now, but just politics in general. And this caught my attention. This caught my attention. I think this is worth noting as we head into still the early, early early stages of the twenty twenty four campaign. I mean, we're not really there yet, but we've got de Santis and Trump both officially in the field.
We have we have some positioning amongst themselves. We have Trump going after he Trump went after Kaylee Mcinaney, the other day that might have been yesterday. I don't I can't keep up. There's so many things happening out there. But he went after her on true truth social course, she was his press secretary for some time. But so we're in this campaign season and I think that this is worth discussing and putting some thought to and realize what's going on
here. So mary Ann Williamson, she's the only member of the Democrat Party at this point who has entered the race or who has officially I guess formally challenging the first person to formally challenge Joe Biden in the twenty twenty four Democratic primary. Now you may recall during the two thousand and twenty eight debates, Marianne Williamson was on the stage and you might have heard her saying some pretty
kooky things. I will say this, I think that Marianne Williamson, I do think that she has I think she's a true believer in some of this stuff. I think she don't. I put her more in the in the Bernie Sanders category. You know, there are people on the left who are leftist because they know what's a means to an end that creates more power and wealth and opportunity for themselves. And then there are people that just believe the
garbage, believe the nonsense. And I would put Bernie Bernie in that category into a certain degree, Maryanne Williamson as well. I don't I don't think that she's well, she doesn't seem how about this. She doesn't seem, upon what I know, based upon what I know at this point, to be as corrupt and vile ast some of these other politicians are today. But she's out there on Fox News the next revolution. This was earlier in the
week, I think actually on Memorial Day. She was effectively saying that the Democrat National Committee has is in the process of making it easier the Democrat Party is trying to make it easier for Biden to win the nomination. And she cites a couple of things that are worth that are worth noting. One first and foremost is the fact that they are not going to be having debates.
So they're not going to be having debates. So when I hear this, I go back in my memory bank, and I'm reminded of what we discussed here on this program in two and twenty, and we went through this quite a bit and I'm pausing because as I look at the clock, Oz is going to be amazed. Here, I think I'm gonna stop. I'm gonna stop. I'm really close to the scheduled timeouts. I'll wait and I'll share
this part of the discussion on the other side of the break. But it makes me what she's saying here, Mary Ann Williamson, it reminds me of a couple of things. It reminds me of Bernie Sanders versus Hillary in twenty sixteen. You talk about something that was actually rigged to look at the twenty sixteen Democrat primary, and then the other thing is in twenty twenty. In twenty twenty, what happened after after Biden one? What was it Super Tuesday
or right? Actually, I think it was South Carolina primary right before Super Tuesday and everybody started dropping out. There's there's a couple of things that it's reminded me of, and it's what the Democrats do. It's what the Democrats do. It makes me think. It makes me think that, even though it's not letting necessarily in vogue at the moment, to say that Biden is going to be the Democrat nominee because he's you know what's happened to our country
the past three years. Now, what's happened to this just the process of how they run elections and how terribly he campaigns. So I want to talk about that. I want to talk about that because I think it's relevant, especially as we move into the twenty twenty four election, which is quickly approaching us. My friends, But a timeout is in order. Quick time out. Proud of myself for staying on the time this segment. You're listening here
to conservative not better Talk. I am your host to Hugh back in just
a minute. Welcome back, my friends, because I didn't have this handy earlier in the program when I was talking about the vote last night was a nine o'clock or soho last night when the debt ceiling limit was actually voted on to be raised by the House of Representatives, I didn't have the final count in front of a final count was three fourteen in the eye column and one hundred and seventeen in the no column, with four people not voting Republicans,
there were one hundred forty nine yeas, one are excusing me, seventy one nays, and there were one hundred and sixty five yeas from the Democratic side of the aisle forty six nays. So basically what you had, it's an interesting political dynamic. You had the conservatives and the radical left voting against this thing. The aocs, the Rashida Talibs voted against this too, but for different excuse me, different reasons. The radical left wanted there to be basically
more right. They don't want any sort of responsible spending whatsoever, which I'm not suggesting that this does in a real sense, but they want pedal to the metal, radical out of control spending at all times. Anything that even gives the slightest hint of a hesitation or a removal of the foot from the gat, not a removal of the foot, just lifting the foot two percent
off the gas pedal will get a nigh from the radical left. Anyway, That was how that vote went down, how that vote went down last night. So I wanted to say that before I got back to what we were talking about before the break, which was Maryann Williamson, who's now running for
the Democrat nomination for president. She's running against Biden. She's out there saying that the Democratic Party is actually making it easier trying to make it easier for Biden, who is of course the incumbent, to win the party's nomination. She was on The Next Revolution on Fox News earlier in the week, and she was complaining about the plan that the Democrat Party has which effectively will do away with the primary debates all together. So I said, this reminded me
of two things. It reminded me of Hillary versus Bernie back in two thousand and sixteen. And I want this to be abundantly clear to everyone that the Democrat Party portrays itself as the party of the people. This is why there was, although they're a shrinking group, there at one point was a large faction of the Democrat Party that was known as the Blue Dog Democrats, the
conservative type of Democrats. It's by and large have been destroyed today because the Democrat Party has been taken over by leftists, and they effectively said, we would rather have a bunch of radical fringe groups that we somehow bring together than we would actually want reasonable people who are Union Democrats or conservative Democrats or blue Dog Democrats, whatever you want to call them. And so they you know
that there's there's not a lot of that representation in the party today. But at the same time, at the same time, the people running this party leftist though they may be, they're not stupid. They know that they can only get away with so much, only get so much over on the American people. Now, they might be underestimating what they can get over on some of the people who are willing to vote for these radicals and clowns and jokers.
But they're just a little bit hesitant, and they don't really like the notion. They like the notion of having more power. They like globalism. They like to be honored and respected as part of a you know this this social elite group of oligarchs, if you will, around the globe. They like that, but they also like their money. They don't really want you to have money or me to have money, but they kind of like it.
And it's not correct in assuming that the Democrat Party is a party of the little man, because it just simply isn't It is, actually, especially when you look at the leadership, it is a group of leftists. It's a group of elitists who think that they're smarter than, better than, more equipped than the average person. They look at the average person with disdain. They look at the average person with contempt. They think the average person is
lucky to be living in a country that's being ruled by them. That's how they look at this. They think they're better at making decisions for your life, for the lives of even the members of the Democrat Party. Those people are themselves and so don't that is important to understand. It's not a party of the little man. It's a party that's led my people who are trying to manipulate and deceive what does quote unquote the little man if you want to
think about it like that. I don't like that way of saying it, but that's how people often portray it. People who are Union Democrats would say that, I remember hearing my dad say that in the past. This is a party for the little man, which is basically, this is for the individual worker, the guy who's trying to make money for his family, take care of his kids, provide for his wife, you know, pay the mortgage, get the kids to a good school, that sort of thing.
That's what we're supposed to believe. These radical leftists, well, the Democrat Party, which is now run by the leftists, are a party of the average person. But that's not at all the case, they are extremely radical, but they're also extremely calculated. They're not going to say, acrifice the opportunity to win control of the wine house by putting someone like a Bernie Sanders on the ticket. And so in twenty sixteen, the Democrat Party quite literally
through the use of super delegates. And think of super delegates as people. You know, the left preaches about protecting our democracy, but the idea of a super delegate is actually antithetical to democracy because a super delegates vote has more weight than an average delegates vote. And so basically the superdelegates were never going to allow Bernie to win the nomination. The deck was stacked against him. Hillary, we remember, was getting questions allegedly prior to the debates and so
forth. Bernie was left out, well, it was left out in the cold. He was not helped, he was not supported. They thought that he was not a candidate that could win in sixteen. Turns out neither was Hillary Rodham Clinton, who purportedly was the smartest woman in the world, at least in one point, at one point in time in her life. That's what I was told in college. Anyway, So that happened in twenty sixteen. I'm reminded of that when I listened to Maryanne Williamson talk about having the
Democrat Party stacked the deck for Joe Biden. I'm also reminded of twenty twenty, and I'm reminded of what happened after the South Carolina primary. I went through this in great detail during the campaign of twenty twenty, and when Biden won South Carolina again, all of the individuals who are radicals who just aren't prepared to have Bernie Centers as a candidate because they don't think they don't think that they can win with an unabashed socialist on the top of the ticket.
They don't think Americans are quite there yet, and so they're not prepared to have him as their candidates, and so they took steps in twenty twenty to prevent that, to prevent that as well. And as they looked at their candidates again, they had a cast of clowns out there. I mean, we had Kamala Harris, we had Elizabeth Warren who claimed she was certain percentage Native American, which is actually less than the average American, which is crazy.
This is why I don't have any problem whatsoever with hearing people refer to her as Pokehonas, and I will tell you I've said it on this program before I'll say it again. I am documented by genealogist to be the thirteenth great grandson of Pocahonas. So, as the self appointed spokesperson for the Pokehonas family, I am here to say I don't care that people use that name to ridicule Elizabeth Warren for claiming to be of Native American heritage when she had
a tiny, tiny, tiny percentage of Native American ancestry. Yet she that's how she identified back when that meant something a little bit different than it does today. But nonetheless that was the field, right. We had Pete boot Edge, Edge, we had who else did we have? I'm drawn blank, I block it out because it was a cast of characters. Did I say Kamala cackling Kamela up there? And again there was no obvious choice, and all the powerbrokers of the Democrat Party got together and they said, look,
we cannot have Bernie Sanders win this thing. And at the rate that they were going at the time, it was quite possible they could get through the entire primary process without having someone secure the nomination and so it could have been a contested convention, which who knows what could have happened at that point. The Bernie delegates could have somehow gotten Bernie onto the into the position of the party's nominee. And they didn't want to chance that because again, they're
not people who truly believe in democracy. They believe in their opinion, their rule. They believe an oligarchy or whatever it is, so long as they are at the top of that decision pyramid. And so what did they do.
They made sure that they selected Joe Biden. And that's why we had at the time, oh Amy Klobuchar was up there as well, because we had Pete boot Edge, Edge, Amy Klobichar, someone else basically drop out of the race right after South Carolina because what they were trying to do was get everybody to rally the troops, if you will, or kind of coalesce behind Joe Biden as the nominee. And I'm telling you that conversation had to be painful. In fact, I wish I was a fly on the wall.
I wish that there was some recording, some video that we could see because it would be comical. It would be comical again. It reminds me of an episode of the Office when Michael Michael Scott started the Michael Scott Paper Company under Mifflin. He was taking off of their clients. Undermifflin. Executives said, this may sound crazy, but the cheapest option is to buy him out. It's to buy him out, and they, of course couldn't believe
that they were saying that. Likewise, I think that the powerbrokers in the Democrat Party were sitting in that back room and they kind of rubbed their forehead and they said, you know what, I think the best option. I can't believe I'm gonna say this. The best option is to put our support
behind Joseph Robinette Biden. And that is when the decision was made that other folks were going to, of course drop out at the request of the Democrat Party brokers, the power brokers within the party, the extremely wealthy and the ultra elitist leftist made those phone calls. They promised people positions within the cabinet or whatever they wanted, some future favor if you just get out of this
race, We're going behind throwing all of our support behind Biden. Because that was the bet that they thought was the safest, even though of course they just didn't anything to choose from. So it's it's in that world, my friends. I know, we look at this and we say, how can they run Biden again? This is a mess, This is crazy. Anybody with half a brain will not vote for Joseph Robinette Biden. But the problem, my friends, the problem is that for the Democrats is that he's still
their best option. I know that that's crazy, I know that it's ludicrous to have to utter those words, but the truth is the truth is they don't have anyone else short of Michelle Obama running, short of Oprah Winfree running. I don't mean that they're necessarily good candidates. I just mean that they people love them, and there might be someone else, but those are the two that come that come to mind that could. I don't think that they
will, but could theoretically enter the race. Short of someone like that, they are stuck with Biden. And so if you're stuck with Biden and you realize this guy needs to be hidden, we have to repeat the twenty twenty campaign. We have to hide this guy in the closet. We have to keep him away from debates. We have to keep him away from the American people, the podium, everything else. We got to hide this guy. It's the only chance that we have. And it starts with what Mary and
Williamson says is happening in the Democrat Party primary process. And it's precisely why they do not want to have debates, because they know debates spell trouble for Biden. And if there's trouble for Biden, crazy as though it may seem, he's still in their estimation, their best bet. And that gives me chills to have to utter those words. But I'm gonna take a time out, my friends. You're listening here to conservative not bitter talk. I'm your host, the one, the only. Todd Huff, by the way,
should tell you. My vast, vast team of attorney says advise me. I must tell you a little bit more frequently that listening to this program can cause you to lean to the right. So exercise extreme caution when driving or operating heavy machinery. Heck, walking down the hallway with a cup of coffee, you will find yourself drifting to the right as a result of listening to this program. Back in just a minute, welcome back, my friends.
I also have you seen this? There is a parody account for aoc looking here in an article from the Post Millennial. By the way, I say this as much as I'm reminded to. If you want to read some of these articles that I'm referencing, you can always check them out on our website Todd Huffshow dot com. Go to the Stack of Stuff hat tip to the late great Rush Limball, and you can check out the stories that I'm referencing. And of course, today marks the beginning of June. We're almost halfway
through, almost halfway through this year. It's crazy, absolutely crazy how fast time goes. But Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio Cortes is upset. Oh goodness, I gotta tell you this. This entertains me. She is upset that there's a fake account. She says, that's in purse. I'm gonna read her tweet here. This was from month. What is it? No Tuesday? I guess this is what she tweets out sometime Tuesday afternoon. F YI, there's a fake account on here. This is her Twitter account, impersonating and going
viral. The Twitter CEO has engaged it, boosting visibility. It is releasing false policy statements. Come back here? Where did they go? We're releasing false policy statements and gaining spread. I am assessing with my team how to move forward. In the meantime, be careful of what you see. I guess she has to tell her her followers heads up. The stuff that you read on the parody account may confuse you with what I really believe. I'll
read you some of the east some of these tweets. It says parody account. By the way, it's got the same photograph. I believe that's on her actual Twitter page. It's got the same photograph, but it says Alexandria Acasio qu Quartez parody account, I think is what it says. It cuts off here with the p the Twitter handle. If you're interested, is AOC press. Just give you a few examples of some of these tweets. Feeling cute. Might go to the southern border for another photoshoot. Here's another one.
If we tax citizens at a rate of eighty percent, we'd easily be able to pay thee the three trillion dollars in reparations to transgenders. Farming should be illegal. This parody account also tweets cow farts are far more dangerous than fentanyl that's on there as well. Then sheet tweets or this parody account tweets this might be the wine talking, but I've got a crush on Elon Musk, to which Elon Musk responds with the same fire symbol that James used in
the text to me earlier yesterday. So there's a fire symbol that's a Elon Musk responds to it. I just find it ironic. I just it's the little things that get me. She's upset. She writes a tweet that says she's complaining that Musk engaged it, which in which boosted visibility. What does she think her tweets doing. If she doesn't want attention to this parody account,
then why is she drawing attention to this parody account. It's just bizarre to me, And it's also a bizarre to me to think it must be hitting so close to home that she realizes that her followers and maybe people that aren't even followers, can be easily confused. You know how the Babylon Bee makes up these parody stories. I love the Babylon Bee, by the way, but you know how they have these parody stories and headlines and so forth
making fun of reality. And then there's an organization called Not the Bee, and basically not the talks about real headlines that sound like they should be part of the Babylon, be part of the pody and satire account, but they have to. It sounds so crazy that they have to say this really is real and it's not part of a crazy parody account. AOC is actually having to do. She's actually having to do that. Imagine having to tell people
the parody account isn't my real account. It might confuse you if you go to the parody account because my regular account, This is the unspoken part. My regular account seems so much like a parody account because of the silly nonsense that I'm tweeting about on there, or the videos that I post on whatever. She's got TikTok Instagram. I don't even know. They seem like parody accounts because it is not rooted in reality, and apparently she knows it.
Because she has to tell her followers and the people who may not follow her but simply have seen her tweets, she may need to feel well, the necessity to say, hey, those aren't my real tweets. I know they sound just as preposterous as my real tweets. I know they seem just as crazy and absurd as my real positions on many many issues. So I just feel the need to make sure you know it's parody. That's basically what she's
done. And the Iron need to point out that Elon Musk engaged with the tweet, saying that it drew more attention to it, and then she tweets about it again, drawing even more attention to this stuff. Anyway, I find this comical the left. I remember Rush saying this is exactly right. By the way, when the left is not in power, it's absolutely hilarious to watch, and when they are in power, it's terrifying because they begin
to actually implement those ideas that sound absolutely ludicrous and crazy and nonsensical. And that, of course, my friends, is where we are in Biden's America twenty twenty three. But I've gonna take a time out, sit tight back in just a minute. Back, my friends. You know one way to fight wokeism, and we talk about this on the program. It may seem, it may seem really simple, and sometimes folks may think it doesn't make enough of a difference. But I'm telling you these things add up. They
truly add up. You can support conservative companies, or at least companies that are not in the business of silencing opinions or forcing wokeism on the American people, as we talked about in yesterday's program, which by the way, I think it's a good program, if I may say so myself. You can check it out on the podcast. But you know, we need to be more mindful of these things with who we do business with and so forth.
And one of those companies that I I'm proud to tell you is a company that I would recommend you looking into as I sell health, Eric Wilson. He has been associated with this program for some time. Eric's been featured as a guest on a lot of different platforms places like CBS News, Fox, NBC, ABC, and a whole host of others. All around good guy. They have a pro life health plant as well, if you're interested in that. But he's here to help you, whether it's with individual insurance needs
or maybe you're considering looking at providing insurance for your company. Here as we move into the end of the year and twenty twenty four, courage you to call Eric. I'll take good care of you. I sell health dot com is the website I sell health dot com. Or call him at eight one five three seven two thirteen sixty three. Again three excuse me one five three seven two thirteen sixty three timeouts in order my friends will come back and wrap
up here in just a minute. Welcome back, my friends. I want to say this. I know, I know that you know. Some of the things we've talked about in recent days and weeks can be I don't know, discouraging. I really don't mean for it to be that way. I'm here to talk with you about what's going on in the country, hopefully encouraging folks to see the problems and to continue to fight, continuing to influence and help people to understand just what we really have here in this nation. But
it still is not time to panic. It's time to get serious. That time has been around for quite some time, but this look there there are still some very good, well some some very promising things that are happening. And I think that again, having people engaged in ways that they have not been in my lifetime puts us in a position to actually be able to persuade people to understand and accept truth and the beauty of what we've been given here
in this nation, that we got to take advantage of those opportunities. We've got to be persuasive, we got to stand up for truth, and I've got to go. Thanks so much for listening SDGC tomorrow
