Todd tod Huff showed dot com. You can also Texas three one two one zero twenty eight thirty thoughts, questions, feedback, Yes, yes, yes, always include that adoration and praise and it is good to be here. I hope I didn't say this on on Friday. Sometimes I just I just don't think about it until the end end of the show. I hope you fathers had a nice Father's Day weekend. I certainly did. There's nothing being

a father to me. We have. I have three little ones. I've got a fuel not so little anymore in my mind, maybe fourteen I had a fourteen year old, so he would really not appreciate me saying I got a little one there, fourteen year old, soon to be well, soon to be fourteen, soon to be twelve, and a nine year old. So but there's nothing to me. It is. It's a lot of fun. I love being I love being a father. We have a close family. It's a blessing. And yesterday it was certainly a good day. So

I hope you had the same. So I want to start today. I want to start off today by we're doing a couple of things. First. I want to acknowledge here, especially after I just told Jeffred got to mention Father's Day on on Friday, today being the celebration of the ending of slavery Juneteenth, which is, you know, all following the Emancipation Proclamation which President Lincoln issued, and then Juneteenth was I think two and a half years after

the fact. And I actually want to get into a little of this today. And I guess we'll start here since I've there's two things I want to make sure that we get to. One is this. The other is the clown show that we well you may not have seen. You may have seen some of the things on social media. We had President Bribery connecting with the fashion icon. Senator Fetterman from the State of Pennsylvania and it folks. The

dialogue, the dialogue between these two folks absolutely incredible. The idea that John Fetterman is among one of one hundred people responsible for representing initially the states, now you could say the people of the states since we've changed the way that we elect US senators, but nonetheless the states in our country. This is supposed to be the branch of the legislature, right We've got the House of Representatives and we've got the Senate. This is supposed to be the very wise,

methodical, just very professional US Senate. And he is one of one hundred people representing a state. There's two senators in each state. He's one of the one hundred representing the fifty US states. And then of course we've got Joe Biden out there, the president, who is It is just a mess in every conceivable way. And we'll talk about some of the what should be punchlines. This was a Saturday Night Live skit in the making. I

don't know Saturday I don't watch that anymore. But if they wanted to do something with Fetterman and Biden president bribery, this would look very much like what reality looked like. Well, we'll get to that in due course. I actually want to start here. I want to start with a SoundBite. I want to start with a SoundBite from Oh boy, where'd this go? This was from Corene Jean Pierre. Now Karine John Pierre, you know, is the press secretary for President Joe Biden. She was being interviewed. Well,

I don't even know what this is on. This is on I'm looking here. This isn't an article from the Blaze media and she's being interviewed on I think it's a podcast. It could have been a news something on the news, but I think it's a podcast. So this, I guess it's called the Grillo. Is that right? Anyway? So she's on this thing and she's being asked questions and so forth about her role, about this presidency, all these sorts of things, and I want I want to play this clip.

This is a short club, and I want to put this in the context, and the kind will do this in a minute. I want to put this in the larger context of just the politicization of everything in this country today. You've heard me say, and you know this by living your life,

everything has become political. What you eat, what you drink, what you wear, what you drive, where you you know, go for lunch, where you which football team you cheer for, you root for which well, whether or not you even watch football or basketball or whatever, whether or not you how you feel about the national anthem. Everything has become political in today's world. And it's because we have a we have a battle of worldview and ideology that's right before us. I mean, an all out battle.

And this is not going away. This battle is not going away until one side actually actually wins, one worldview prevails. These are not political issues anymore. We have it just these battles take place in the political arena because that's the most natural place for these things to happen, especially especially when one side is hell bent on using the political process to force their worldview on the rest

of Americans. So, but that being said, that being said, the left, they often engage in what I would call or what people who study debates and logical foulncies and so forth they would call a straw man and a straw man. Many of you know this, some may not, But just

to clarify what a straw man is. A straw man is when you basically, if you're debating someone having a discussion and argument, a debate, whatever, and you mischaracterize their argument where you create a straw man, you create an argument that is not really the argument that particular your opponent is actually making, and so you create out of whole cloth. And this is I should say, this is done intentionally. This is done intentionally to mischaracterize your opponent's

point so as to get a political victory. Now let me pause and say here for people who were interested, and this was if you go back to the Socratic method Socrates, and you look at you know, some of the what we know about the discussions and debates and so forth that he would engage, he would engage in. There was this desire on his part to get to truth. Now, if your desire is to get to truth, then it can the case can certainly be made. The case can certainly be made

that. Now, not everybody's going to see it this way. I'm just saying the case can be made saying I agree, I'm just saying, for the sake of painting this picture as we get into this discussion today, the case can be made that the person I think Socrates even said something similar to this that if the person who quote unquote loses the argument but walks away having

learn something. The case can certainly be made that that person actually one if coming to a realization of what truth is, is in fact the objective and so. But that's not, of course, how any how anybody plays the game today today it is about winning the argument, or at least winning the giving the appearance that you have won the argument. This is what our modern politics has become. And that's the first step I want to take in this

direction. So when we talk about an issue, or when we talk about different sides of the political spectrum and the debates that we have today, it's all about appearances. Everything is about appearances. That's why we live in a sound my culture. That's why I hate I get asked. You'd be surprised. The number of requests that we get for interviews on this show are a lot. And as we grow, and boy, I've got some news about

that that I'm dying to tell you. Hang in there with me. We're close to being able to tell you some really, really really good news that will change a lot of well a lot of things with the show, I think in a in a very good way. But I gotta hang on just a little bit longer before I do that. So, but the amount of people that want to be interviewed is a lot on this show or just anywhere

for that matter. But a lot of folks have accepted, or even I think even worse than accept just outright accepting the realities that hey, I've got three or four or five minutes. I've got to get my talking points. In the amount of people that have accepted or even have embraced that is candidly concerning to me, because what happens is what happens is short conversations have no depth, where as the old proverb says, an inch deep and a mile

wide, and so there's no depth, there's no context. There's really no way to give enough information to move someone or persuade someone. In a very short period of time. It's just talking point, talking point, talking point, and then you get off the air, and of course you learn nothing else, nothing else outside of what you knew before. That is what often

happens. That's why I don't like to do a lot of interviews, and when we do them, we actually have them for longer periods of time, because I want to get to the why I want to uncover the context.

I want to be able for you and for me, and for anyone who's listening to this, to be able to walk away having more information, a better understanding, even if you disagree, even if you disagree, having more information, having a clearer understanding of what an alternative viewpoint is in everyone's best interest, if for no other reason, for you to be able to understand

it better for me to be able to understand it better. It allows us to respond to people who maybe have a viewpoint or a worldview that we find to be rooted in falsehoods or what have you. And so we need to seek to try to understand. And it's hard to understand it a SoundBite culture, but that is how That's how modern media and modern politics operates. And it's why take the next up up the ladder that I want to walk up

today. It's why identity politics is so pervasive, so insidious. Today, all that matters to many people is what's your race, what's your gender, what's your preferred pronouns, what's your sexual orientation? And then the media goes off and takes off running in a direction that either tries to demonize those who are of one political worldview or one ideology, one political perspective, and of course defending to the death or ignoring to the death the other folks, the

other the other side of the of the aisle. And of course, if you have conservative or Republican beliefs limited government, individual liberty, you often are demonized. You're called names, You're called racist and bigot and homophobe and blab. But you know the game. You know how this is done. You understand that, you live it. You see it each and every each and every week, at least maybe maybe even each and every each and every day.

And so I want to talk about this today because and I want to pause before we get to this Karine Jean Pierre SoundBite, because I want you

to listen how she answers this question. And it's only that twenty twenty or twenty five second clip, but it is I think in understanding her response, the understanding of how the left uses the media and the narrative to shape whether or not they have support on a well, not on an issue, just whether or not people support them based upon these sorts of things identity politics. And but before I do that, before I do that, I also want to say, the straw man, which I reference at the beginning, that

all this is built up. This straw man is built up to say that Conservatives are homophobic, they're racist. This is the claim. They are intolerant, they are hateful, bigoted, whatever right, sexist, whatever else you want to throw in there. But you know how the game is played. And so that's the straw man, this being created. The strawman this being created is that conservatives, limited government types, Republicans are all of those things,

racist, homophobic, sexist, whatever. And then they spend all their time creating that straw man, because that is not reality. That is not reality, my friends. And as I think about Juneteenth, as I think about the Emancipation Proclamation, as I think about the Civil War, as I think about President Lincoln, who, by the way, was the first Republican president. That Republican Party was started predicated on the idea of ending slavery.

President Abraham Lincoln did exactly that. Nobody seems to know this except for people who are in the know or who seek to try to understand. In fact, if you ask the masses today, they would say the exact opposite is

true. And so here's the truth. Every single conservative and Republican that I know, every person that I hear from, every person that I personally know or I've had encounters with through this program or whatever else, every person, every single to a human being, regardless of their political party affiliation, agrees. And I hate to even feel like this needs to be said, but they absolutely, unequivocally, without any reservation whatsoever, one agree that the end

that slavery being ended was a very good and necessary thing. Now the media doesn't act like that, the Democrat Party doesn't act like that. And yes, there are idiots out there today that don't believe that, but they are fringe at best, and sometimes, my friends, there are Democrats that believe this as well. Robert Byrd being who was a senator, Robert by Senator from the state of West Virginia, we talked about this from time to time.

He was a I forget the title Grand Cyclops or some stupid thing in the ku Klux Klan, That's what his position was. He was a Democrat senator. I think is eulogy was given, or at least Bill Clinton spoke at his funeral. I believe that all these Democrats want they were all friends with him, But yet if you ask the average person today, it's the Republicans that are the ones that associate with those sorts of clowns and racists. And the truth is, my friends, everybody knows that this was the right

thing to do. Everybody. Everybody agrees without critical race theory being taught in the classroom, everyone agrees. Everyone agrees that the founding fathers, while they wrote the right words and the Declaration and the Constitution, they did not live up to those ideals because they did not eliminate slavery at the beginning. It took until eighteen sixty five for that to happen, and it was a fantastic thing, and it is sad that it did not happen from the beginning.

And that is the truth and the strong man that's being created, that has been created that the left has invested bookoo dollars in is saying that Republicans don't agree with that hogwash, my friends, absolute hogwash. And if someone doesn't, they're absolutely, unequivocally wrong, and they are on the periphery, they're on the fringe. They do not represent in any way a shape man or reform some sort of a majority of opinion in the United States of America today

simply is not true. This issue has been soundly defeated and rightfully so. And so with that said, I want to shift gears next segment. I'm long in this segment, so we'll bear with me, but we'll play a SoundBite from Kareeen Jean Pierre, and we'll talk about how they use this this straw man, which is completely fabricated and made up out of whole cloth. But they create that straw man and then they campaign to attack that straw man,

and it's attractive to certain people. So we'll go through that on the other side of the break, But time out is in order, my friends, sittight, you're listening to conservative not better Talk. I am your host, Todd Huff back in just a minute. Welcome back, my friends. So I want to pick up on where we ended off last segment talking about Kareem Well. I was talking about basically setting this whole thing up and about the importance of identity politics and how the left does not want to campaign.

That's the other part of this. The left does not want to campaign on their actual record. They don't want to campaign on the economy, they don't want to campaign on how successful any of their ideas are. They don't want

to talk about their ideas at all. In fact, what they really want to do is is basically just blurt out an idea, not even an idea, just basically accused the other side, the Republican side, the conservative side, of being the ones who further well further this racial or ideological divide in

this nation. And so they consistently, they the left, they the media, they build this straw man, which is a basic basically again the idea that Conservatives are racist, or bigoted, or homophobic, are sexists, you name it, take your pick. That's what they are. That's who they are. That's what they say. That's not correct, but that's what they say. And so they create a straw man, and then they campaign against

that strong man. And so I already shared last segment that no one, no one in the mainstream of Republican thought and so forth, no conservative, any conservative or Republican or whatever, would be who does not agree with these ideas that, for example, that you know, the we were racially equal, We're equal in the eyes of God as human beings, regardless of anything. We're all created in His image and have intrinsic value. That is what

I would say. That is what everybody I know who agrees politically with me would say. And if anyone disagrees with that, they are dead wrong, regardless of which party they're in. And as I've alluded to before, the Democrat Party is the party of Robert Byrd. Robert Byrd was a a grand cyclops or some stupid thing in the KKK. Senator Robert Byrd ken or the Democrats Biden included flock two flock to his funeral. They were all friends with

him and everything else. But the media and the left would have you believe it. The opposite is true. As Republicans that do these things, it's

it's just it's not accurate. It's completely not accurate. And so they've but they've been successful at doing this, creating the straw man and then pointing to the straw man to the American people, to the low information crowd, or to the crowd that just you know, doesn't have full information or they believe the media or whatever, and they say, the straw man that we've created,

that's racist and bigoted. That's all these conservative people. And so everything that we do as Democrats is designed to combat that kind and to fight it. And basically, how does it what does it look like in the media, What does it look like when this is being executed, this plan is being executed, when the tape is rolling and so forth, it looks and sounds exactly like what I'm about to play for you right now with Karine Jean

Pierre as she's on this interview or podcast or whatever. This is called the grin What is it called the I don't even know. If it doesn't matter. These things are all the same, all these things, Degrio, these things are all the same. It doesn't matter. But here it is. I want you to hear what she says. A year in this role, there's been a couple of things that has made me incredibly proud, many things, many things that made me incredibly proud to be at that podium during this

historic moment. Again, this is a historic administration. I'm a historic figure and I certainly walk in history every day. But this is also a historic making administration because of this president. So she's basically now saying this is a

historic administration. She's a historic figure. This Biden administration is historic. They're moving into historic decisions each and every day, and what does that mean, what that means, what that means from there from their perspective, and how they're trying to spend this whole argument is that that straw man they created hates every group of people, every group of people, LGBTQ, you know, minorities, women, probably children, probably, cuddly animals, all this stuff.

They hate it. That's the straw man. And so the argument is, the subtle argument is, you know, our administration, the Biden administration, wants to come in and create this world where people who have been forced out, forced to the sidelines, not allowed to participate in government, we now give you a voice. And so that's why there's all this fixation on the first. The first this the first that I almost hate to mention. You hate to mention which, which race or ethnicity or whatever it is,

which whatever identifier, because people get so fixated. It's such an emotional thing. And sometimes because of the way individual Americans have treated people. Sometimes it's

understandable. But again to say that there's systematic or systemic racism and all these sorts of things that have been perpetrated by the Republican Party and so forth, and that the Democrats are there, through Biden, through Kaarine John Pierre, who's just the spokesperson, through the other people in the administration, through people like Fetterman, which we'll get to in the latter half of this program, are there to fix it. They're there to make sure that everyone has a

voice. That's why they talk about saving America's democracy. They are setting up this straw man, this completely phony narrative that makes them look like the heroes, that makes Republicans Conservatives look like the villains, and the Democrat Party is there to save they would argue, They don't argue, they just make the claim. They just make the claim because they're never pressed back on it.

They're just allowed to grandstand and to make these completely absurd conclusions and so forth, and no one questions them on it, not in the mainstream media. That's why they love the media. By the way, it's why they hate media that actually pushes back because this stuff is completely it completely collapses upon itself

with one follow up question, with one follow up question. So now the name of the game for the left is you want to have the first whatever, the first minority, whatever, the groups are of this, the first LGBT of this, that the first person who's a trans this that right, that's that's the game. And as long as the Democrats can continually say, you know, run people just because of that, just because of some way that they some superficial way of defining themselves, that becomes the criteria. And

that, my friends, is a recipe. I don't care what what the person's whatever, that superficuld be anything. If we're saying we just need to vote something for someone because they're this race or this agender, that is a recipe for some really bad things to happen because we're quite literally not paying any attention to the ideas or what these folks believe. And I'm along in this

segment another time outs in order though, Sit tight, my friends. You're listening to a conservative, not better talking your host tootuff back in a minute. Welcome back, my friends. This segment that's going to be short because I want to shift gears here as we move into the latter part of this program. But these things actually all tie in nicely together. We don't do

themes on here, but they fall nicely together. And why do I mean that We've we've talked about in the first half for the first two thirds of this program actually leads directly to what we see on on the stage with Joe Biden and with John Fetterman. It leads to the reason that we see the cast of characters that we have in Washington, DC today. I defy you to find an instance, and there may be some, there may be a couple, but in general, what I'm about to say is true, and

the truth is this. The Democrats, typically, when they can execute on the strategy that I just explained last segment, the Democrat Party typically, well, I shouldn't say they tipped, well, I guess that is true when you listen to the totality. They win when they can execute, execute successfully on what I just describe last segment. Where it doesn't when it doesn't work with people, when people can see through the garbage and the smoke screens and

the silliness of the whole thing, they don't win elections. They win elections when they successfully demonize their opponent and where they say that their opponent is exactly the type of straw man, the straw man that they've been creating as we've talked, or that they've created the minds of the American people. These racists as they would say, bigoted, as they would say, sexist, as they would say homophobic, as they would say transphobic Conservatives or Republicans. They're

here to save our democracy from people like that. And then they say, oh, by the way, my opponent just happens to be that as well, and when they can successfully execute that, which doesn't happen in a lot of well, it doesn't happen in the places where we would say it's red. It happens in the places where we know that it's blue. And so that is in fact what happens. And so as a result, as a result, we're left with people like Joe Biden, We're left with people like

John John Fetterman, were left with some of these other leftists. And there's another strategy that they tack onto this, which it's kind of the same thing but a little bit a little bit different, but it's again, it's the same general thing that the other strategy is basically to say, my opponent is connected to supporting or supportive of a fan of President Trump, and they of course have branded Trump as this racist, bigoted, homophobic, hater of all

people not named Donald J. Trump, or hater of all people who's not whatever the media says is the you know, the the he hates everyone, they would say, who's not white or wealthy or whatever, And this is what they say he appeals to. But of course that's not in fact at

all what's going on. So then we create, the media creates the Democrat Party creates this opportunity for these clowns and the side show to exist where people like John Fetterman and Joe Biden are actually somehow the name next to the button that people press in the voting booth. And so I've got a doozy for you. If you haven't heard this, you're in for a real treat. President Bribery and the Fashion Icon Senator Fetterman getting together. And it is just

as atrocious as you might expect. So I'll play some sound bites from that on the other side of the break. My friends, sit tight, we'll be back in a minute. Welcome back, my friend. So again, the strawman created by the media, the strawman created by the left. The Democrat Party creates an opportunity, I guess, for people like John Fetterman, the Fashion Icon. According to The New York Times, people like President Bribery to have an opportunity to step in, because, after all, they are

there to save our democracy, save the American people from tyranny. And of course it is exactly the opposite what's going on here, But just listen to it. So Biden and Fetterman. Biden and Fetterman are together. I don't know if they're all if there's no teleprompter, this is just a recipe waiting to happen. I don't know if someone was asleep at the wheel here as far as making these decisions. But they get on camera together and it's exactly

what you would expect. So Fetterman, the fashion icon is here introducing President Bribery. This is outside or near the location of that bridge collapse. You may have seen ninety five bridge collapse. And so Biden's there to do whatever, you know, to make his appearance and to talk about how I guess the federal government can fix it. But I thought we just sent all this

money. Why are bridges collapsing when I thought we fixed our infrastructure. Anyway, none of this stuff makes any real sense if you just ask the questions been Anyway, here we go Fetterman introducing Biden, and this is in fact a heck of a doozy. And now I'm standing next to the President again next to a collapse bridge here, and he is here to commit to work with the governor and the delegation to make sure that we get this fixed quick

fast as well too. This is the president that is committed to infractured or yeah. And then on top of that, the jewel a kind of a law of the insh Infrashtion bill that is going to make sure that there's going to be bridges all across like this, all across the America getting rebuilt. One on Earth. Now, listen, I do not feel comfortable with this. I mean, the man has had a stroke, he has health problems. Biden has of course his own problems as well. But here's the way

I look at this, and I thought about this before the show. My thought is for the people who understand just what is going on here, that these neither one of these two and Biden was standing right there by the way, but neither one of these two is capable fit for office. People who know understand that, and people who don't. My question would be either join with people like me that say this is not normal. People like this no

matter which party they represent. While we wish them well and a full recovery, there's no way, there's no way that they should be holding a position of power in this government. So either you think it's not a big deal, it's not a big deal. They should be able to hold their positions just fine. And if that is the case, then good luck explaining what

we just listen to. And it shouldn't bother you, because hey, if there's nothing wrong, then there's no health underlying health concerned to be concerned with to begin with. Or if you know that there's legitimate problems, you want

people to hear this because this is in fact what happens. This is exactly what happens when all those things are disregarded because of the straw man, because of the narrative, because of what ever else, the Democrat Party, the pr machine, the media, the radical left throughout the American people getting them to vote for these individuals. But I'm a little bit long again here in folks, sit tight back in just a minute. Sorry to getting the wrong

volume control there. Virtually all the time that we had it. Actually some of the things and I didn't even play. There's other things Biden Biden out there trying to explain to the audience why he has to sleep on the couch, to which he says, do I need to explain it? My wife's a Philly girl obviously makes so much sense. I mean, it's it's remarkable

what we're subjected to. In fact, as I was listening to it, it reminded me of the two thousand and seven I didn't have time to play it today, but there was a Miss teen USA answer where she's talking about why Americans couldn't locate a rack on a map. I don't have time to play it, but it sounded exactly like that, folks. I've got to go have a great day. STG.
