Attention. You're listening to the Todd Huff Radio Show, America's home for conservative not bitter talk radio. Be advised. The content of this program has been documented to prevents and even cure liberalism, and listening may cause you to lead to the right. Here's your conservative but not bitter host, Todd Huff.

A conservative not bitter. I'll tell you what, my friends, that is a rare quality, indeed, in today's world, especially for those on the rabid, anti god extreme fringes of the radical left still out there looking for the alternative, the left's version of conservative not liberal. Good luck or excuse me, liberal not bitter. I should say, a conservative not liberal would work as well. But anyway, my friends, it's a pleasure to be here. Email. Should you want to be part of today's discussion, you

can do that at emailing Todd at Todd of Show dot com. You can also text us three one seven two one zero twenty eight thirty. That is the number at the office. I do check those and respond. I've got some to respond to respond to, so forgive me if I've not gotten back to you, but I do my best to get back quickly. Just make sure make sure you include the appropriate amount of adoration and praise, which is about fifteen percent more. I might even say fifteen to twenty percent more.

I usually say ten to fifteen. But I'm feeling like I need an extra boost of adoration and praise today. Kidding, not kidding, my friends. It is my pleasure to be here. So I want to start today. I want to start today with I'm want to get to several things, but the thing that I want to start with today first and foremost, and we'll get to this testimony on Capitol Hill. A little bit about Riley Gaines. In a moment, probably in one of the latter segments, she was testifying

about biological men competing against biological women. Not only that, biological men sharing locker rooms, getting buck naked in there with biological women. We're supposed to act like that's not a thing. I admire the heck out of this Riley Gaines. Appreciate her courage and her willingness to go in there and do what a lot of people know is the right thing to do, but they're just

afraid to stand up to the well to the radical left mob. And the issue at the moment, and the issue of the moment is the transagenda. So we'll get to that. We'll get to that in due course. I want to start, however, in the stack of stuff. I want to start with this. I saw a discussion here we go. I was having trouble finding this. So this is something that I just think is completely appropriate to discuss, given well, just the way that the left creates a straw

man. We went through this recently, a straw man. And I know most of you know this. Many of you know this. If you don't, it's fine, But we went through this. It might have been earlier this week, not this particular subject, but we talked about a strawman. A straw man is when you are having a debate, a discussion and arguing different points of view, which is not really candidly allowed to happen in today's world. Fact, as I've said on here before, ever, so brilliantly,

you're given you're given the basic facts of a situation. And basically what that would mean is you are given just a quick one sentence summary of something that happened. Somebody was arrested, some accident took place, some police officer did something that ended that you ended very very badly no context. In most cases, you're just given the statement. You're given the race and gender and ethnicity of the of what they present as the victim, which sometimes is the

victim and sometimes turns out not to be the victim. And then they give you the race, gender, ethnicity and so forth of the what they alleged to be the perpetrator, who they alleged to be the perpetrator, and you get point two seconds to decide which side of the aisle, which side of the argument you come down on. That is. That's about as far as we get into true debate today. Now, I believe in good old fashioned,

healthy debate. I also believe, and I'm cool with, to a certain degree, certain extent, a little bit of a little bit of good political theater and drama, but it has to be for a purpose, meaning a specific purpose, to make a specific point. I think there's a time and we even use some of the some of these tools on this program, hyperbole, sarcasm, satire, a little bit of drama and so forth,

just to make a point. I mean, this is important. We have to give people the freedom and ability to communicate ideas, especially ideas that are centered around political things. The way that we live our lives, what we allow our government to do, and so on and so forth, and so we have to give people have to have the freedom to articulate and help communicate an idea and a problem, say with a particular action that maybe the government has taken, and so forth. There has to be some well a lot

as ultimate freedom in one's ability to express those things. And so we use some of these things. But there's a thing called a straw man. And now a straw man is something that is not designed to help yourself communicate your positions or your beliefs, or the person who's actually making the argument. A straw man is designed to misrepresent, to misrepresent what the other side is actually arguing. So, for example, a straw man would be when one side

of the argument mischaracterizes the other side's argument, typically intentionally. I suppose this could some I don't know. Can there be an unintentional straw man? I suppose that's theoretically possible. But the concept in my mind is generally this is an intended misrepresentation, so that your argument has a better I guess path, an easier path towards except dents from those who are hearing it, and so

this actually serves as a barrier to real debate and so forth. Now you can say, in a debate situation, you can say, I think you're mischaracterizing your position, you know, mister, this miss that whatever, And you can say, I think what you're what you're arguing for is really this

is the reality of it, and that's fair. But a straw man, a subtle a straw man is when again, one side mischaracterizes the other side without drawing undue attention to it. And so sometimes sometimes the other side doesn't catch these subtle discrepancies in their argument. Sometimes it's obvious and so, but it's designed to deceive, is the point. It's designed to misrepresent. Whereas hyperbole, satire, a little bit of drama is designed to help elaborate or

pound home your point that is, I'm good with that. But straw men are designed not to boost one side's argument, but rather bring down the other side's argument through deception and misrepresentation. And it's not good. And this is what the Left often excels that. So let's talk about what I mean specifically here and what I want to get to here in this first segment talking about

Hunter Biden. We talked about this earlier this week. Hunter Biden of course got off with a metaphorical slap, slap on the wrist, basically, you know, just a little smack, nothing serious, no real consequences. And in fact, there's a oz had sent me this and I saw this in my own preparation as well. There's an attorney for a rapper named Kodak Black.

Kodak Black's lawyer comes out and says, hey, you know, the same crime that Hunter Biden just created or was given this wonderful plea deal on, is the same crime that my client was given three years for given three years for committing. And So now, if you really want to, if you really want to tweak the left tier, you can you can point out, as the left always does, I'm only doing this because this is what

they do. You can point out that the white man Hunter Biden gets off Scott Free, Kodak Black is a is a black rapper, and you could point out that there's a two tier justice system when it comes to white leftists, white democrats in this country today and compare that to other people, potentially even racial. This is I'm not making the I'm not making that claim.

I'm simply saying, this is how the game has played. If the shoe were on the other foot, so to speak, if someone that was a Republican, if was in Hunter Biden's position here, the argument would be that there's a two tiered justice system, and that it would be racial in nature and so forth. Of course we don't hear that because they don't want those sorts of headlines when Democrats, leftists, liberals are in are in the news. So well, let's get back here to the straw man. The straw

man is this. The straw man is people like former Democratic Senator Claire McCaskill. She's from the state of Missouri. She on Tuesday was on MSNBC with Nicole Wallace. I mean, if you have trouble sleeping at night, or if you just want to see what delusion looks like in person, I encourage you to watch MSNBC in particular. You can watch anything, really anything on that station. But Nicole Wallace would be fine um or and I don't even

know what else is on in the in the evenings over there. We try not to venture into that world of craziness too often, but Nicole Wallace has Clara McCaskill on her program and she's asking her. They're talking about the the Plea Deal, and Clara McCaskill, I mean she can you can feel the emotion and the energy and the entire mood of this interview and the well and I don't know if it's ultimately I believe it. This is faux outrage.

This is designed to elicit a particular feeling again, something deceptive. It's not. Again, it's not a device like hyperbole, which is exaggeration to kind of drive home your point is, this is make believe. This is pretending, pretending that one side, the conservative side, the Republican side, is making an argument about Hunter Biden that no one is making. And if someone is making it, then I'm not seeing make it. Let me tell you,

I reject this argument that she's claiming to be finding against. This is not what she describes. This is not the problem. This is not the problem that we find with the Hunter Biden case. And I'm sitting here thinking, I'm pausing. I'm gonna play this. It's gonna put me over the time limit here. It's gonna be fine, we'll get it straightened out next segment. But since I've set this up. I don't want to make you

wait until the next segment. So here she is Claire McCaskill on with one of the lunatics at MSNBC, in this case it's Nicole Wallace, and I want you to listen to This is a straw man. This is an argument against Republicans who have a problem with Hunter Biden, who have a problem with his laptop, who have a problem with where this actual evidence may lead us, may very well lead us. The big guy, which we now know is Joe Biden getting a ten percent kick back five million dollars allegedly that was

potentially bribe money for President bribery and his son Hunter allegedly. So this is all This is all kind of tied in here, but she's gonna make the argument that Republicans are going after them for different reasons. In fact, I'll let Ter say it for herself. This is how she describes the situation and Uncle bat that nobody, nobody views this as a normal family. Nobody knows

that the Bidens felt with lost in pain. What do you make of the fact that to David Jolly's point that they should take this loss and move on find another political weapon to wield. I don't know what America they live in, and I don't know how they sleep at night. You know, alcoholism and addiction are probably the most pervasive diseases in America. I don't know of

one family that hasn't been touched by the pain of these diseases. And it's particularly painful when you have someone you love unconditionally that is suffering from these diseases. All right, as Rush used to say, stop but tape. We don't have tape here, we have digital files. But nonetheless, stop it. What is She's making the argument that Republicans are piling on, that conservatives are piling on Hunter Biden making a big to do about this and exploiting his

alcoholism and exploiting his drug use. That's the argument. That's what she wants you to believe. That this is about Nothing could be further from the truth, Nothing could be further from the truth. Whatsoever. She's got a lot more to say about this. This is about all I could take this side of the segment, inside of the time out, I should say. So, I'm gonna pick up where this thing left off. We've just begun to

move into the world of delusion. With Clara mccastall here. We'll continue that on the other side of the break, but before we do that, we've got to take a time out. My friends, you're listening here to Conservative not Better Talk. I am your host, Tod Hugh. Back in just a minute. Oh yes, my friends, welcome back. I'm gonna reque this sound bite. I'm actually I've taken it back to the beginning for anyone that may have missed it last segment. Listening to Clara mccastell. She's a

current liberal. Maybe maybe I don't know that she's as far. I don't know if I'm want to call her leftist or not leftist. By the way, is someone who just really quickly so conservative, just so you know, someone like me, limited government, personal freedom, you know, the God given rights that we have from our creator, not from our government. Ability to live according to our own conscience and personal desires and so forth. That's

me. That's that's when I say conservative, That's what I mean, limited government as small and as limited as possible. Liberal is someone who believes the government should step in a lot help people. It's you know, people are entitled to certain things that are funded by other people. That's that's what I mean when I say liberal, it's I wish I kind of long for the days of just having debates and discussions with liberals, because they did not do

well. In my mind, they did not cross some of the lines that the radical left does. The radical left hates this country. They hate this country is founded. They do not like the ideas set forth in the Constitution. They if given the opportunity, they would rewrite America's framework. They would do away with things in our constitution. Freedoms that the government didn't give you by the way you have been given by Almighty God himself, they would take

those away. They would empower themselves, they would do away with any sort of morality. In fact, what they ultimately desire, their extreme leftists and they're godless government is their religion, and so they want to They want to live consequence free lifestyle. They don't want to hear about right and wrong moral

code. That's why they don't like Christianity so much, because Christianity or any really any belief in God threatens because their conscience speaks so loudly inside to them that they cannot possibly, they cannot possibly endure hearing those same things that their conscience speaks to their heart internally. They don't want to hear those things externally, and so they want to silence. They want to make everything morally equivalent.

They want to basically it's it's it's an anti god state of mind in a large sense. That's what I mean when I say radical left. I don't think Clarare McCaskill's there. But although she's sometimes tiptoes into the leftism, leftist ideas, but she's she's a liberal, so she's she's still someone that is not promoting the things that are necessary and good in this country, but she's not promoting something as morally bankrupt as we find being peddled by the radical

left anyway. So Nicole Wallace is basically talking with former Senator Claire McCaskill for Missouri, asking her to kind of give her take on why Republicans continue to go after Hunter Biden. He's got this plea deal. Can't they just see that this guy has some personal problems with drugs and alcohol? Why can't they

let up? So that's kind of the premise, and I want you to listen to how crazy crazy Claire mccaswell gets as she sets up this straw man, as we talked about last segment, which is not what any Republican, any conservative I know, is arguing. But this is what she does in the way that she forms her version of what people like I, people like me, I should say, think people like many of you think about Hunter Biden and that whole situation. This is what she says, and greatly she

greatly misrepresents it. I don't know what America they live in, and I don't know how they sleep at night. Oh my goodness. You know, alcoholism in addiction are probably the most pervasive diseases in America. Has not I don't know of one family that hasn't been touched by the pain of these diseases. Talking about particularly painful when you have someone you love unconditionally that is suffering from these diseases. I think Joe Biden has shown a wonderful role model to

the country about unconditional love. Oh my goodness, what do these jerks in the house want Joe Biden to do? Throw him out, refused to speak to him, say he doesn't love him publicly? Do they not understand this disease and how it works? Hunter Biden has gone through recovery under the brightest lights imaginable, and recovery is not easy for anybody. I gotta stop that. There is she really arguing that there has been undue attention put on Hunter

Biden. You've got to be kidding me. You have absolutely got to be kidding me. The way that the Trump kids, and I don't I use that word loosely because they're they're the kids of Trump, but they're not, they're not young children, but the way that they were talked about in the media for doing nothing remotely close to what I mean. If you've seen this laptop, have you seen what's going on on this laptop? If you haven't, I would advise you not to look at it because some of these things

you just can't unsee. It's it's awful. And I take I've said this from the very beginning. I take no personal pleasure in talking about his personal struggles. But that is not what this is about. This is not about someone who's struggling with the disease of alcoholism, although he is. It appears from from the laptop and from the text and everything else, it seems like this is clearly something he struggles with. But that's not what this is about.

This is absolutely a straw man. This is about you want, this is about This is about actual baby that may have gone up to the Vice president of the United States. That's what this is ultimately about. Now you can you can say, again a lot of these things get conflated, but

that's not necessarily what what this recent plea deal was about. The recent plea deal was instead was more about this gun charge, which, by the way, as I said yesterday on the program, the things that some of the most that the things that the left comes out the strongest about is gun control. They're prepared in at the drop of a hat, to excuse any gun law that Hunter Biden broke, and they want to have more gun laws,

but they don't want to enforce the ones on the books. And look, I'm not suggesting they throw the book at Hunter Biden or anything like that. I'm just suggesting that this is this is in no way shape, manner or form some sort of attack on his alcoholism or ruse or she didn't say it is addiction to hookers from what we see on the laptop. I mean, this stuff is this is vile, sodom and gomore, a kind of stuff

here. But that's not what this is about. This is about. This is about an individual, Hunter Biden, who may have been acting and there is actual evidence. There is actual evidence. One more time, there is actual evidence that he was acting in cooperation with his father, the big guy in manipulating or I guess, using political influence to get money, to get paid, to get business deals. That's why I refer to him allegedly here, referred to him as President Bribery, Joe Bribery. This is a real

scandal. This is the thing that matters, and it's not because of Hunter Biden's drug use. This is preposter This is a straw man. That is absolutely stupid for her to be saying, but this is how desperate they are. Let her finish her stupid comments here and then I'll take a break. He's been held accountable for bad judgments. He made the law, and he should be. But the point is that he now has to stay sober in order to avoid a felony, and he has been treated as he should under

the law. But everyone should understand here that this man, this has paid a very high price for his addiction in the public arena. And by the way, everybody needs to back off Joe Biden about this. He loves his son. He should It is okay for him to love his son, and there's nothing wrong with it. They have no evidence of any kind of wrongdoing by Joe Biden, and it infuriates me they're using this heartbreak against Joe Biden in this way. It's just not right. This is not You're not right.

That's the dumbest thing. Yesterday I played the dumbest thing I heard from Tuesday. The dumbest thing I heard Wednesday was this What on earth? Of course we know what's going on here, but this should not If you hear this sort of thing on TV. First of all, you've tuned into the wrong channel. But secondly, secondly, don't be hypnotized or don't let your friends more than likely here. That's the case. I know you all stay

informed. We can't people believe this is what I'm getting at. People are put into a trance because there's a logo at the bottom of the screen. This is MSNBC. These people look serious, but it's a stinking clown show, is what it is. Not one word of what she said has any bearing in reality whatsoever. But it's news at MSNBC. What an absolute and utter joke. Timeouts in order, my friends, sit tight. You're listening to conservative not better talk. I am your host, Tod Hugh back in

just a minute. You know how the left and the Democrats and the media excusing me as to say the dramacrats. You know how they want to paint this picture for the American people and portray this silly notion that everything's working hunky dory, apple pie, just fine. You know how they want to do that, right, Well, they are at it again. Well I should

pause. They're at it consistently, at it NonStop. But I just feel it appropriate because this stuff is not reported in most places that you would consume news. Now. It is reported in alternative media and so forth, conservative platforms and places like that, but it's typically it's it's just not going to be talked about on the big popular outlets because it goes over or I guess it goes again ends. I should say the narrative that they want to see

pushed on the American people. So we know we have an open border effectively, an open border. It's a disaster. It was not like this way under President Trump. It has become this way under President Biden. It they have. I've seen video of some of the folks that have been stopped along the border and when asked why they were coming there, they referenced something about

Biden, meaning Biden's here and Trump's not. And so we're able to cross the border much more easily than we would have been able to do so under the previous administration. And are these are facts, Jack? As Biden would say, those are the facts, Jack, and this is undeniable. Now you may have an opinion and think that maybe we should allow people to enter this country more easily across the southern border. That's a different discussion because the

law is quite quite clear on what that means. And there's also on top of what the law says, there are legitimate risks. How about this headline, just to put things in perspective here, This is at the Daily What is this the Daily BS that's for bosch Nerdly before you think it's got an inappropriate connotation there, it says FEDS catch more than four hundred and sixty known suspected terrorists in nine months, most at now the northern now the northern borders.

So we've got terrorists coming across No, they're called ksts known and suspected terrorists or I guess known or suspected terrorists. So we have them coming across the southern border, but we also now have them coming across the northern border. Terrorists. That's how many we catch. Now some people hear this. Some people hear this and they think, wow, we're doing a better job because we're catching more of these known or suspected terrorists. But what that means

is we're never catching one hundred percent. We have a poorout border boat, both southern border and now northern border that's being exposed as well. But we've again to be clear boat, there's there's known or suspected terrorists coming both across the southern border and now across the northern border, and even more even more across that northern border. But it's happening in both places. One hundred and sixty five we're at the southern border, detained in the southern along the southern

border, three thirteen at the northern border. And look to someone you know, for people who act like border security it's about keeping different ethnicities out of this country and so forth, it's just it's hogwash. It's total nonsense, because if it's happening in the northern border, we need to take steps to prevent it there as well. It's not suddenly acceptable or good because it's happening from our Canadian border to the north. It's just silly. This stuff needs

to be prevented and stopped. And when you look at the people who are being stopped, some people might say, well, that's a good sign. But again, we're only stopping a percentage, and it's fair to assume statistics will teach us that there's a percent that our system is currently stopping, and there's going to be a range or a margin of error for the percentage. I'm just going to pick a random percentage. Let's say it's let's say it's

seventy five percent. I'm not suggesting it's a high. I'm just picking a random number. Could be fifty. I don't know what the number is. But if we're catching seventy five percent, but it's say we're stopping seventy five percent, if we stopped two hundred, then there are more people that are crossing still without being captured than if we're stopping a hundred. Because we're still

stopping seventy five percent, and that's what we need to understand. More people being detained doesn't mean that suddenly Biden woke up and decided to defend our borders or give us the resources on those borders that we need. What it means is it means that more people are coming. Not just people. These are

ksts, known or suspected terrorists that have now entered the country. So if seventy five, just for my example, if seventy five percent are typically what we stop, and we stop seventy five, then it's safe to assume that we that twenty five crossed. Likewise, if there were one hundred and fifty stopped and we stop on average seventy five percent, then another fifty could have

crossed. So that's what's happening. And again it's just one of the many ways, one of the many, many, many ways the radical left, through this president, through their control of the Senate, through their control of academia, through their control of Hollywood, through their control of the media.

If I didn't say that that they're destroying this country intentionally, I might add intentionally because again, the radical left hates this country, and when they destroy it, they're given an opportunity to recreate it, and they are rubbing their hands gleefully looking forward to what that might be. I, of course tremble at the very notion that that's a possibility. But timeouts in order, my

friends. I mentioned earlier that I'm gonna talk a little bit about Riley gains what was happening in the US Senate and so forth yesterday, And I'll do that on the other side of this break. My friends, you're listening to conservative, not bitter talk. I'm your host, tough back in a minute. Welcome back to my friends. I'm gonna get to this quickly. Riley Gaines she was a swimmer, SEC swimmer University of Kentucky. I have grown

to really respect this young lady, very good collegiate swimmer. I think she I don't know if she was ever an Olympian, but I know she. I think she referenced being part of the trials or you know, trying to make the team and so forth. But she testifies, she testified yesterday before Congress excu meet the Senate specifically about these trans bills or the way that this fight over, this fight over whether or not biological men should be allowed to

participate, and by logical women's sports, and she's there to testify. She's there talking about Title nine, which is supposed to protect women's sports in college. But now we've got men that are coming in and taking over and winning, and she's got a problem with that. Obviously, anyone should with any

sort of I guess fairness and understanding of reality at all. But not only is she upset that she was that she has to compete and that other swimmers have to compete against biological men who have physical advantages period against against women in events like this, in sports like this, she also was subjected to this nonsense. Listen to that. I've referenced this before, but let's listen to her tell this and listen to the emotion in her voice. But that is

not all. In addition to being worse to give up our awards and our titles and our opportunities, the NC double A forced me and my female submersed to swim to share a locker room with Thomas six foot four, twenty two year old male equipped with an exposing male genitalia. Let me be clear about this unbelievable We were not forewarned we would be sharing a locker room. No

one asked for our consent, and we did not give our consent. And I'll set the scene of swimming locker room is not a place of modesty. You're addressing, you're fully exposed, and we were forced to take off our swimsuit in front of a man who was doing the exact same thing, if nothing else, I truly hope how you can see this as a violation of our right to privacy, and how some of us have felt uncomfortable, embarrassed,

and even traumatized by this experience. I know that I don't speak for every single person who competed against Leah Thomas, but I know I speak for many because I saw the tears. I saw the tears from the ninth and seventeenth place finishers who missed out on being named in All American by one place. And I can attest to the says a lot more. But just think about that. It's not just that they're competing, which is bad enough,

competing against biological women and winning most events by tremendous amounts. Leah Thomas finished I think he was ranked four hundred and sixty second or something like that when he competed with men. When he was at Penn State against Women. Leah Thomas won first place in many events, sometimes by multiple body lengths. Now he did not defeat Riley Gaines. In one of the events, they had

a tie, and she shared that yesterday and the testimony too. I have shared that on this program in the past as well, because she she said they tied in one event. I forget if it was I think I want to say the two hundred butterfly, but I could be wrong. I think it was the butterfly. She ties him, She ties him, and down to the one hundredth of a second. The NCAA says, we've only got one award, which, by the way, what kind of foresight does it

take to not have any kind of backup here, because it does. I mean, it's not unheard of for them to be tied. That's it's rare, but it's not unheard of. It wouldn't be the first time in history. So the NCAA says, we've got one trophy, and we hope you understand Riley, but we have to give it to Leah Thomas because of the photos that are being taken. Just unbelievable what these kids are. These are college aged girls, women that are being subjected to this stuff, naked men

in the locker room from the same people that a few years ago. We're telling us about all this stuff with again the met and I'm not minimizing the me too. I'm just simply saying, the same people who talked about all these offensive and violent gross actions taken by men and some of these jokers are totally fine with this nonsense, Absolutely reprehensible. I'm gonna take a break, quick time out. My friends back in just a minute. Welcome back,

my friends. Are you a US military veteran and are you getting access to all of the benefits that you have earned? And I stressed that because you have earned these benefits, there are certain benefits that you should receive if you are a military veteran, and it depends, of course on your individual circumstances and so forth, but you earned these. These are not handouts or gimmes or anything like that. These are things that are actually part of your compensation

plan. If you're not sure if you're getting all those I encourage you to speak with my friends at anchored for vets dot com. That's the word anchored, the number four vets dot com. Anchored four vets dot com, or if you want to, you can text veteran to three one seven two one zero twenty eight thirty. That's our number.
