Attention. You're listening to the Todd Huf radio show, America's home for conservative not Bitter talk radio. Be advised. The content of this program has been documented to prevent and even cure liberalism, and listening may cause you to lead to the right. Here's your Conservative but not Bitter host, Todd Huff. Well, my friends, I guess by this point in time, we all

know why. Well, we know the strategy behind all of these names that are being thrown into the hat for the Republican nomination for president of the United States. And look, the left, the media, the never Trump or crowd, everybody who is well admitted to anything besides a second term of President Trump. Now, and there's people that don't. I guess there's different groups. But there's a group that just won't vote for him, and that's that's

one thing. But there's a group that a group that is hell bent on trying to prevent him from even being able to legally to legally run. And this is the strategy. I'm telling you, This is the strategy of those who are entering the race, like Mike Pence not This is not personal. I don't even like to say this just because of people that I know that have relationships with these Some of these folks, I just Mike Pence, Tim Scott, Nicky Haley, Chris Christie Now and vvak Ramaswami, which I think

he's got different approach. I actually there's things I like about about him, and there's things I like about all of them. I just they're banking on They're betting on Trump being taken down. That's the entire, the entire strategy, because they will not, folks, they will not. The only the only one that you notice I left the Santis's name out. He's the only

one that I think does have a chance. In fact, I saw headline today that said De Santis has now gotten the endorsement of something like twenty Republicans in the state of Oklahoma. I don't know if those I haven't looked in detailed the names, but you know, he is getting traction in some in some circles. But again, notice the breakdown, and this I don't want to be misunderstood. I do think and I know there's some of you that

disagree with me on this. You think, you think that there's a lot to be concerned with about De Santis, and I hear you on some of the things, especially when I see certain people coalescing around him. But we

have the American people, and we have the political elite. And when you break break even into break out the Republican Party itself, you've got the political elite, the establishment, the ruling class, if you will, And then you've got the conservative grassroots American who, many of which believe that the problems that we have are so messed up, are so deep, are so corrupt, are so messy, that there is one individual on the ticket that has

the strength of will, the the energy, the commitment to take it down. And many people come to the conclusion that that person is President Trump, and it's why he is still massively ahead in many in many places. But again, we've still got a campaign to run. We'll see what DeSantis can

do. And again I don't I don't share. I do pay attention when I see some of the people coming around him, some of the money that maybe sent his way, Looking at where that's come from, it does create pause, pause for concern, or sometimes even greater than that, if some of what I've been told is correct. But there's still plenty of things that I like about De Santis and again, we're going to support whoever the nominee

is. But I think it's clearly and unequivocally Trump's to win. But this what's happening with the Department of Justice, and that's what we're talking about today. The Department of Justice telling Trump apparently based upon news reports, that he is going to be indicted next week on charges of quote gathering, transmitting or losing national defense documents. So this is all related to the mar Lago raid and all that sort of sort of stuff, and so we'll get there today.

I just want to paint a picture of what is going on in this country. And I've used an analogy before and I stand by it, and I think it's I think it's pretty darn accurate. We are in the midst of a cold civil war. And that's why I want to I want to talk about this today. I want to paint the picture of what's going on. I want to I want to clearly define I guess, the the sides of the fence that we can be on. And my friends, there's no

more. There was a time. There was a time when I, when I was a younger man, I went to I went to a Fellowship of Christian Athletes football camp in nineteen ninety three. I think I went again in ninety four. I think I went back as a huddle leader. By the way, Fellowship of Christian Athletes shout out to them. They helped a kid like me here the gospel as someone that had not been really had been the church or anything. And I'm I'm forever grateful for what they did for me.

But so I went to that camp, Fellowship of Christian Athletes football camp, and they would do different things. We would, you know, we would sing worship music, sing songs, have fun, I mean, a bunch of high school football players, you know, having a good old clean by the way, clean time. And but they would sometimes do skits and I remember one in particular, and again this was just no props or anything. It was just to help communicate messages to the young men in that camp.

And I remember one pretty vividly. There was a you know, one of the actors was playing say a teenage boy who may have just gone to FCA football camp and headed headed home the next week, and you know had the the proverbial the metaphorical angel and the demon whispering things in his ear.

You had the the demon right or the little devilish character that we see sometimes in cartoons and some and some cartoons and so forth, whispering temptations in the kid's ear, don't do this or do that, trying to corrupt character, try to drive this young man away from a relationship with God, and so

forth. And of course the heavenly Messenger would would try to speak truth and would try to remind this young man about what the Bible says, and so forth, and so in the skit and the skit, the young man finally said, I don't know which side of the fence to choose. I'm just gonna sit right here on the fence. And so he sits on the fence, and the little devilish character, the you know, the the evil the character repres anything the evil side, kind of rubbed his hands together and says,

that's fantastic, because I own the fence. And my point in telling you that today is to tell you that there is no fence. There is no fence. There is a dividing line at this point. You know, I don't want to get to preach you here today. I know some folks don't like that, but um, I can't ignore the the relevance of some of these these scriptures. There's a passage in the Old Testament, the Book of Joshua, where he tells the Israelites, who he is leading into the

Promised Land. Right, they've gone through forty years of struggle and wandering in the desert and difficulties and all this sort of stuff. They've seen provision, they've seen direction, they've seen they've seen they've had to wait. They've I mean, they've they've run the gamut on you know, They've they've seen God show up in miraculous ways. They have openly rebelled and worshiped false idols and

everything in between. They got manna from heaven. All this kind of stuff, really dramatic seen in the Bible. And Joshua tells the people who had gone back and forth across that line. Again there is no fence. There's a line, and the people were trying to play both sides of it. They were trying to sit on the fence. But again the devil loans the fence. And so Joshua told the people, choose for yourselves this day, whom you will serve. Choose, make your choice, make a step on

one side of the line or the other. There is no fence. There is, folks. The battle that we're facing in this country today is good versus evil. Yes, there are political battles that aren't necessarily predicated upon that. I understand that something still are politic But the core of the problem we are facing today in this country is that we truly have, you know, Biden will say, a fight for the heart and soul of this country.

That is exactly what we have and is really a heart a battle for the heart, mind, and soul of every individual American, every individual American. I don't care where you are, what you're doing this this time of day that you're listening if you're driving to work, if you're listening on you know as as a podcast with your earbuds, in jogging at the park, doing whatever you're doing right, maybe you're working in the garden, I don't I

don't know, listening at the office. It doesn't matter. No matter what you are doing. There is a there is a battle that requires us, a battle going on in this country that requires us to choose a side, to choose a side. And if we say we're gonna sit on the fence, if we say we're gonna wait until tomorrow. You could also say the devil owns the fence, but the devil owns the wait until tomorrow box as well, because putting off a decision, putting off a decision is saying no

to it. Today. For example, I want to briefly, I'm gonna share really quickly. It's gonna put me over the first time out here a little bit. But a few years ago, actually, in two thousand and seventeen, my grandfather had requested my presence. He was he had terminal cancer, and he wanted to talk with me about some things. And ultimately what he wanted to talk about was meeting God, was meeting his creator. And we talked about that. And I had asked him, all right, I

shared the gospel. He actually knew a lot about it because he had been raised in church. And I shared with him the story the gospel, and I said, you know, what, what do you want to do with that? Grandpa? I mean, I'm paraphrasing here, but he said at first, he said, he said, you know what I do want to I do want to accept that forgiveness from God. But he told me, but I want to go to my cancer doctor or whatever, it was tomorrow or the following day. It was just a couple of days. And then

after that. Then after that, I would like to pray to receive the Holy Spirit, pray to pray, to pray, pray for the forgiveness of my sins. And I, folks, iver one hundred percent respect anyone's decision. These are personal decisions. Some people listening now and I think this is

crazy talk. Some people may be saying. This is exactly the types of conversations that get your heart pumping and your blood flowing when you think about the love of God, these stories of transformation and salvation and so forth, and or anywhere in between. And but he said to me he wanted to wait, and I told him, Grandpa, I said, I would have understood if you said I don't want to I wouldn't have liked it. I think it's the wrong decision. But it's not my decision to make. It's your

decision. We all have the decision. Is the point here. And the second thing is I said, by saying I want to wait, what you're really saying is no not Now. Let me say that again, because I think that needs to be I think we need to understand that no, not now, or I'm going to sit on the fence or any The only choice is yes or no, the only sign, the only choice to make is am I going to be involved and in the defense of truth and the you know, just am I gonna be on the side of goodness? Or am

I going to be on the side of evil and corruption? And we sometimes, I look, I know it. Sometimes we can. We can make it seem more complicated or nuanced. The folks, I'm telling you, the battle lines have been drawn here. The battle lines have been drawn in this country. Choose for yourselves this day the devil owns the fence, and maybe later the devil owns that too. And that's what I told my grandpa.

I said, look, I know that you know you could say yes or no to this, But Grandpa, I don't understand no. You know, I want to wait because really what you're saying is no, not now. But you're telling me you want to say yes. So help me understand that, because I don't think that makes sense. And he sat there for a couple of seconds and he nodded his head and he said, you're right,

and he said, let's do this right now. And I said, what do you What do you mean you don't tell You don't tell people in my family what to do, even my grandpa father, who he and I had a wonderful relationship, but you just don't tell, you know, tell us what to do. And he said, well, I want to. I want to pray. I want to pray for forgiveness. And we did that. We did that, and I still remember to this day. The two things he said at the conclusion of that prayer was Number one. He said,

wow, you could really feel that. And I said, Grandpa, Grandpa, the guide of the universe, as he lives in our hearts, we should fill that. Number two, he said, what do I owe you? My true story? He asked me, what do I owe you? And I said, Grandpa, Well, first, I said, jokingly, jokingly, I want the serious people in the crowd to know I was kidding. He knew I was kidding. He had been watching Sunday programs. This was a Sunday, October fifteenth night, twenty seventeen, and I said,

Grandpa, what were the preachers asking for today? I said ten thousand dollars. I said ten thousand dollars. I said no, no, no, no, no, I said listen. Having you with us eternally in heaven is worth anything that I could ever ask for me said that that's not what I was even doing this for. Right, That's not the point at

all. But I found it interesting that he wanted to know what he owed me for sharing that, especially in the world today, when the world is the opposite of that right, the world wants to know what they get for nothing. He wanted to know what he owed me to share share with him the free gift. So, but there is a line. There is a line. It is clearly drawn. We have a choice. Saying not now is saying no not now. Saying I'm sitting on the fence means the devil

owns the fence. There is There are two sides to be on when it comes to fighting for the heart and soul of America and this potential news of the of the Trump indictment. Folks, we are in the midst of I've said it before, a cold civil war, and we have to make the decision. This isn't about It is about Trump and a sense, but it's not. This is about so much more. The radical left, the goideless

radical left. They believe that within their grasp right at their fingertips is effectively a single party state that empowers them indefinitely, and that could potentially lead us to some of these places that they've wanted to take us for a long time. And two including globalism, including socialism, including communism, including atheism, including lots of things that are antithetical to truth and goodness and wholesome talk and

thinking and morality. And that's where we are. That's the line today, my friends. We are not fighting a battle between political parties. It appears that way, and in some respects that's where it's being fought. But we are finding a battle that is about truth. We are finding a battle, as the Word of God would say, our battle is not against flesh and blood. This, my friends, is a spiritual battle. This, my friends, is a battle for truth. It's a battle for the heart,

minds, and soul of the American people. And we had all better realize that we have to decide today. There is no fence, there is no maybe later. That is choosing not to say yes to standing up for the truth and the goodness and the principles upon which this nation was built, the liberty and so forth. So I'm along in the segment I told you I wouldn't because I wanted to share that story about my grandpa. Thank you for indulging me as I shared that. Hopefully that speaks to you as well.

So lots of things to say about this today, but again we're talking about Trump and the impending indictment allegedly reportedly from the Department of Justice, Biden's Department of Justice. Trump apparently about to be indicted yet again, this time for gathering, transmitting, and or losing national defense documents. Much more to say about this time out, though, is in order. My friends, sit

tight. You are listening to conservative not better talk. I am your host, the one, the only, the beloved Todd Hoof back in just a minute. Back, my friends, I did not say this off the top because we jumped right into it. But if you want to be part of today's discussion, if you want to share your thoughts, if you want to share your feedback, if you want to ask questions, if you want to tell me where you think I'm wrong, We'll read those things. But it's

got to have the appropriate amount of adoration and praise. I mean, even if you di agree with me, you gotta come in. You gotta bring the adoration and praise. It's a requirement to be read here by this host. I don't have time for the unnecessary negativity. I got to see the appropriate amount of adoration and praise, and that, just to give you a gauge, is about ten to fifteen percent more than you think is required at first glance. You should read your text or your email and then add a

ten to fifteen percent. That's what you should do, and then that'll give you a good chance of getting read. Sometimes we even talk about your messages and questions on here, I'll respond, I do my best. There's some I Anthony, I know I owe you one and indeed, but anyway, and there's others too. I just remember seeing Anthony's I think he sent me a couple recently, and I've not gotten back. But it's not because I'm just sitting here a twiddle on my thumbs. I can promise you that.

So let's get back to what we were talking about. Last segment. We said that the line has been drawn, the line has been drawn in the sand, and I look back at what again. It's it's not about it is about Trump, but it's not just about Trump. It's it's about principles and policy and ideas. It's about what this country was founded upon. It's about truth and what is right and just and what Trump has been subjected to.

And I'm not this. I don't want to be mischaracterized. You know, there's such a ridiculous amount of mischaracterizations of people who would say something about Trump. It's it's as though the only alternatives some of these radicals can comprehend, which is silly, is you either agree one hundred percent with everything Trump did, you're on board with multiple divorces and alleged affairs, or you hate

him and want to basically have him thrown in prison. That is that is not a real choice, my friends, that is not a real choice. I am on the side of Trump when I think Trump is right, and I think Trump is right a lot. I don't get too bothered by the tweets some people do, I think. I think sometimes that's the thing people say. I think I had. I had a conversation with a gentleman the other day and that was basically he said, and he's on he agrees with

Trump in a lot of ways. But you know, I don't like the tweets and all this and sometimes the tweets bother me sort of thing, And I almost think that that's that's a conditioned response. Do Clinton supporters say, you know, I would liked a lot about his policies and ideas, but didn't really care to have Monica Lewinsky in the Oval office or Jennifer Flower all

the other people that were you talk about a mess of stuff. I can understand why someone would think that Bill Clinton policies and ideas well, if they want to say his policies and ideas were correct, I can see how they That doesn't mean a they're in favor of having inappropriate relations with interns like you know that that's not necessarily the conclusion we should be we should be drawing.

Ironically, Ironically, Democrats today are concerned about things that Trump either did or allegedly did long before he was in office, and yet they didn't care about

the moral depravity happening in the Clinton White House, for example. So to me, to me, if you're gonna bring up more moral character, you have to look at is it currently happening or is it something that's a decade old or twenty five years ago that seems at least relevant and when we're talking about the survival of this nation and we're talking about ideas, ideas that are predicated or based upon, rooted in have their foundations built upon the sinking sand

of the radical leftist agenda. Those are godless, morally depraved, and morally bankrupt ideas. And I cannot support those ideas whatsoever because that affects every person. You want to talk about immorality on a massive scale. Implement some of these radical leftist world viewpoints and policies and so forth, that's immoral, That is evil and wicked. Again, I'm talking about the radical, extreme, godless lefts. I say ideas, and that's being that's actually being pretty pretty

gracious because they're not ideas. They're feelings there, and they're they're feelings that are completely warped and not built upon truth. They're not established in the things that make logical sense. They're built upon the sinking sands of deceit of again,

the morally depraved worldview of the left. That's my real problem. So just because I'm coming on here and saying that having Trump indicted for apparently next week, that's what seems is going to be happening based upon these stories if Trump is going to be indicted over gathering, transmitting, and or losing national defense documents in the wake of his indictment in New York City, in the wake of two impeachments, in the wake of phony investigations both into January sixth

and into and into Russian collusion. His campaign was spied upon. It actually was. There's I mean, we know this now. These things that are happened are indefensible and inexcusable, and those things are on the line of evil. My friends, It's not even about an idea. Promote your liberal idea. We can debate those things and talk about the pros and cons of that. I would long for those days again, even when terrible ideas are presented.

We have now reached a place where we are quite literally in a battle for good and evil. And I would say that this battle is rooted in worldview ideology. This battle is spiritually based. And that's why it's imperative that we choose for ourselves right now, this moment, this day. There is no offense, there is no maybe later. It is time to choose internally in our minds, make a decision, put our eyes ahead, and march forward. Realizing that we have to do whatever is necessary to stand up and

to defend truth. And there's so many facets of this. You've got defending kids at school subjected. I've seen videos. I saw one video twice where this public school who they swore, they swore that the LGBTQ I AA plus two P whatever that is group wasn't coming for your kids. And then you look at what's happening at these schools today. You look at drag queens reading a story time wearing Prince's costumes while they have a beard. I mean, give me a break. This is we are. This is not simply a

difference of opinion and ideas of two morally equivalent worldviews. Folks. We are dealing with darkness and light, and we have to choose the choice. There is no option to not make a choice. Not making a choice is choosing

choosing the side that is promoting dark. It is exactly the same sort of thing our founders had to do all these years ago, all these years ago, when they signed that Declaration of Independence seventeen seventy six, when they said we mutually pledged to one another our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor, and they paid the consequence, many of them paid dearly, because that, my friend, is the only way, the only way to fight

back against the evils, whether they be in the modern sense of what that looks like or what it looked like in seventeen seventy six when they were staring tyranny in the eye. Of course, we're staring it in the eye as well. It's just it has a little bit of a different appearance, at a lot of a different appearance in some respects with some of the cultural issues of the day. But that is what is at stake. That is what is at stake. We don't have time to waste. The battle is being

waged now, and it is being amped up with these indictments. And I'm telling you, they're scared of this guy. They're scared to Trump. They know deep down that the only chance that I don't want to say the only chance, because there's still going to be a tight election, But I think that they know by virtue of doing this stuff, they know he is going to be a real problem and probably probably would defeat whatever joker of a candidate

they put on the ballot in twenty twenty four. They're acting desperately because they're desperate, and they're desperate because they have no ideas, they have no solutions, They are morally bankrupt, and they are trying to stir up a frenzy of hate. They are trying to stir up just a incorrect narrative on what's

really going on here. When you look at the double standard, it is preposterous as to how Trump is handled by the Department of Justice, by the FBI and so forth, and how the Biden family is, or how the Clinton family is, or how the Obamas would be, or take your pick. Even Republicans on the UH in certain instances, Republicans who are not really a threat at dismantling the beasts that they've developed in Washington, DC, and

that's what they fear Trump the most about. Timeouts in order really long in this segment. Next one's going to be short and sweet, So type my friends back in a minute, fucking back my friends. Segment's going to be shorter than usual because I have gotten this off time. I've broken my New Year's resolution. But um so it's going to be short. But I think this, you know, you look back, and I've been thinking about this

a lot in preparation for this show. You know, I think about these these sorts of things in some respects, you know, you think about some of these larger ideas, is in concepts or what we've been subjected to, that these these thoughts and realizations date back in many instances, I mean twenty twenty five years ago for me, But some of these things, of course are are newer. And actually jott in a note down here and and I

wrote this. It says, the things that we've been warning the American people about for years is now coming to a climax with these latest well with the all out assault on Trump. You know, we've been warned about a growing government. We've been warned about a duplicitous and evil and deceiving and fake news media. We've been warned about an education system that is corrupt to its core,

that is teaching children evil things. Today, we have been warned, and others have wanted It wasn't just me, but you, many of you

have been warning people sharing what is happening. We've warned them about the awful ideas, the awful and morally bankrupt worldview that's peddled upon the American people by those in Hollywood, by those we mentioned education, Hollywood, the media, the government, the bureaucratic state, how they've done the things you know with Biden in office, the things that have happened since Trump left office, from inflation to open borders, to the debacle and the inexcusable withdrawal, the complete

abandonment of our people in Afghanistan. And there's so many, so many issues, the transagenda, the lies of the critical race theory, the deception as to what really is going on, and this concept that basically says if you don't if you aren't taught critical race theory, then you don't know about slavery and stuff. It's it's preposterous the stuff that we've been subjected to, and it's really it's really designed to overload our senses, to overload our senses.

It's it's like trying for It's like a military general or an army operating two fronts in a war, except for we have many more than two fronts. We have almost a number of fronts that cannot be tabulated and encountered. We're dealing with social issues and schools. We're dealing with deception in the media, We're dealing with lie into sit regarding COVID, COVID policies. We're dealing with inflation. We're trying to figure out how we're going to provide for our families.

We're worried about our liberties. We're worried about our guns. We're worried about our churches. We're worried about free speech. We're worried about take your pick, our children, the massive amounts of debt, whether our president can walk off the stage at the Air Force Academy walk up the stairs to Air Force one. I'm kidding, but not really. You know what I mean. It's an absolute and utter disaster. It is a pure dumpster fire in this country. And it's by design. It's by design. Yes, I

think that there are some people who are their stupidity is helpful. But I think the people at the top making these decisions, pushing the culture, pushing the American people, levying a heavier and heavier burden on people trying to take care of their children, their families, run their businesses, take care of their communities, and so forth. These folks want what they want, and it is not what you and I want, and that's why they fear Trump.

And that's why they fear the American people. In fact, there's two things that stand and we'll talk about that after the break, but two things that stand between between what the left wants and where they are today. There's two things. I'm gonna talk about those on the other side of the break and we will wrap up then. But sit tight, my friends and listening to conservative not better talk. I'm your host, Ted huf back in just a minute. Welcome back, my friends. Just a little time left here

today. But what are the two things? There are two things that are standing between what the left wants, what the lovers of big government wants, what the tyrants want, what the socialist, the communists, whatever you want

to call them. The people who don't care about liberty, the people who don't care about the rights of the individual, the people who say things who look the idea of self governance is a good thing, right, It's good that there are democratic aspects in this nation, that we have a voice. That's a wonderful thing. I'm a huge proponent. But a pure democracy is

not a good thing. And the people who want to talk about America as though it's a pure democracy and not something not a nation that is a constitutional republic that seeks to identify to some degree to specific liberties, but to a

larger degree that doesn't obviously enumerate all of them. But what it's it's a nation that respects and recognizes our God given liberties that even if ninety nine of the people say that we can't exercise them, the Constitution recognizes that we can, by virtue of being created in the image of God, having those liberties. So the people who oppose that these are in many cases big groups, powerful groups, wealthy groups, influential groups. They control sometimes media and big

tech they control many times politicians, sometimes they are the politicians. The only thing, the two things that are standing between those folks and their ability to remake America into something it was not meant to be is Number one, it is you. It is the American people. It is me, those of

us who still recognize and respect and care about those things. That is why what I said earlier, it is imperative that we choose for ourselves this day side of that line we're on. Are we on the good side or are we on the evil bureaucratic deep state lovers a big government side. And number two, I'm gonna say a name that they fear the most. He's not the only one, but he is in a small group, and he's clearly

the one that's trailblazing that path that person as president former President Trump. That's why they fear him. That's why they hate him. Yes, there are others, but no one else comes close to him in regards to how much the left fears him. Those are the two things that are separating my friends, separating the radical left from the power that they so desperately desire. Quick time out back in just a minute, all right, my friend's last segment here. Don't have a lot of time, but I do want to say

this. I know, Look, we've got a lot, a lot of things to be concerned with. And as I closed that last segment, there are the American people and Trump and the politicians that are fighting for liberty, which is not a big group, by the way, are the things that separate us. We have some other things to be optimistic about as well, including some of our Supreme Court justices and some of what's happened in the courts recently. But the truth is, there's lots of reasons to be optimistic.

But there's a heck of a lot of reasons to be concerned, and that's why, that's why I think it's important.
