Attention. You're listening to the Tod Huff Radio Show, America's home for conservative not bitter talk radio. Be advised. The content of this program has been documented to prevent and even cure liberalism, and listening may cause you to lean to the rights. Here's your conservative but not bitter host, Todd Huff. There we go. The microphone is not going where I want it to go today. I guess you could say the elections from Tuesday didn't entirely go where
we wanted them to go either, But that's all right. My friends will talk about that today. Welcome to the program. I am your host, Todd Huff. Email, as you know Todd at Toddhoffshow dot com. You can also connect with us via text three one seven, two one zero twenty eight thirty thoughts, mess opinions, feedback, whatever, whatever you want to
talk about. I do my best to respond. Sometimes we talk about those things directly on this program, which I might reference to text today that came up and I guess, uh, reference to some of the things we're going to discuss today. But anyway, this is good to be here. Thank you for joining us here today. So on Tuesday, there was an election day and now some I say that Tuesday was the second is the second. Tuesday in November is is election day. And for many folks there wasn't really
anything on the ballot, or even anything at all on the ballot. But for some folks there were, and that includes the people in Kentucky who voted for governor the Democrat one the Democrat won re election, Andy Basher. We also had a ballot initiative in the state of Ohio that citizens of that state, well, we hope they were citizens. Who knows, in today's world of voting integrity, election integrity, somebody cast ballots. Take it easy.
I'm just having fun for the issue of whether or not abortion is a constitutional right in this state of Ohio, and the people there said, yes, it is not a good thing either. My friends talk about a fundamental misunderstanding of a right. You know, we'll get more into this in due course. But the role of government, I just the role of government ultimately is
to, at its core foundational level, is to protect life. And to say that you have a constitutional right to terminate an innocent life is beyond the scope of understanding for me. I understand, I understand, Oz and I were talking about this behind the the scenes here before we started the program today, Oz said, I don't think a lot of people stop to think that even in those early stages of pregnancy, you're dealing with another another life,
you know, the life that is formed. We've been through this, you know this. I think some somebody tuned in might not. I don't know. But there when when egg and sperm meat, that is, it's it's different than a skin cell that you that's yours, right, it's it's now neither the mother's nor the father. It's both and right, it's both of them, but it's neither of them. It's a new life at the moment
of conception. In fact, they've studied this. There's actually a burst of light that happens during the moment of conception and beginning phases of cellular replication, right it begins to form. I mean, it's an incredible thing to study. We've learned more and more about this as technology has increased and we can see these things develop where there's videos, there's things that we've learned that we
didn't know. We didn't know back in nineteen seventy three, when nine old men in robes, nine white men in Robes decided that they would tell a woman what she could do with her body. That's the group that did that, originally, coming up with terms like first and second and third trimester,
as though that was in the cost institution too. It doesn't matter, so, but there is She's right, I missed under I don't know if it's a lack of concern sometimes a lack of proper understanding, like the phrase my body, my choice. I thought about this a little bit before coming on here today. I'm going to say that's that is correct. I've said this before. That is correct, even even when an abortion advocate says it, but not in the way that they think that they're saying it. I'm saying
it from the perspective of the unborn child. My body, my choice, and it doesn't even properly address And look, I know the issue of abortion and the ramifications of what happens in certain instances of things like rape and incests, that these are incredibly complicated and difficult, and it's it's far be it for me to try to We don't have all the answers to all this, but just in a simple, kind of the most straightforward, basic way of
looking at it, protecting life, protecting the life of an unborn human being, an unborn child. To say that is a constitutional right to terminate that, I mean, look, you can prevent egg and sperm coming together. I would think, however, you think you should do that, And there's some in this audience that don't even wouldn't agree with that personally, But I'm just saying logically, that's that is different than they once they come together and
form a life. Now you're terminating the life that exists. That's not neither the man's nor the woman's. It's a combination of both genetically. I also think I know this from personal conversations. I also believe that there's a lot of guilt. And yes, we'll get to Basher and all this other stuff too. I think that there is a lot of guilt among a lot of
American adults. And what do I mean by that. I think that a lot of people, a lot of people as they get older, as they mature, become adults, have families of their own, they look back at the time when they were high school college age, before young adults, before they were married, and a lot of adults we know, statistically speaking,
were engaged in behavior we'll just keep the g rated version. Here. We're engaged in behavior that very easily could have resulted in an unplanned or even unwanted pregnancy, and I think because of that, because of that, they think, man, I didn't have to make that choice. Some adults did make the choice of as to whether or not to keep the unborn child or not. And that, look, I think that sounds so callous the way that we say that, But whether or not to terminate the pregnancy in the life
of the child. And look, I know again I always say this, and I mean this. If you are someone in this audience who's had an abortion, knows someone that's had an abortion, maybe you've had multiple abortions, this is not to heap insult upon you. This is not to do that at all. In fact, I believe that there is healing and restoration found in Jesus, and I think that you should look to that, look to him. There's groups that are out there that help women, because that's an
you talk about something that's completely ignored. You look at the guilt and the shame that is carried by women sometimes for the rest of their lives. I've talked to some of these women and that's something in the moment you don't think about, you don't understand. Maybe you think about it, but you can't fully grab but as a younger person, what you're going to feel like in twenty years or whatever. But this isn't the heap holes or insult upon you
put salt in the wound to bring up old memories. This is to try to, I think, illuminate the truth of the discussion, so that moving forward, moving forward from this point, we eliminate or at least reduce greatly the number numbers of abortions. But I do think that people, a lot of adults have a guilt and they think, hey, I didn't have to make that decision. I was engaged in behavior I very easily could have gotten
pregnant. I very easily could have gotten my girlfriend pregnant or whatever. And I think because of that, people think, well, I don't want to I just don't think I should be telling someone else. I had a discussion with an individual about this, and look, I understand that, I do. I certainly understand that, but it just comes back. You talk about back to back to basic science, We talk about following the science, and we never, of course do it in this country. You don't follow the
science of economics. We didn't follow the science when it came to COVID. In fact, you weren't allowed to talk about the science. You weren't allowed to present differing opinions as to how to interpret the science. You weren't allowed to cite certain research studies. Folks I knew. I remember during COVID on this program talking about masks before, I mean the early phases of this thing. And I said, I said that the last nine studies that I had
seen that I was aware of now, they hadn't studied COVID. They were studying the flu. Masks did nothing to slow the spread of the flu. In fact, one of the nine studies I talked about it on this program whatever it's been three and a half years ago, one of the studies, one of the studies actually showed that masks increase the likelihood that COVID or excuse me, that flu at the time would spread because people are fidgeting with their
masks, getting more germs on their hands and transferring it that way. So we didn't follow the science then, But the science is clear. There is no ambiguity here. Life begins a conception. There is no other explanation. Fundamental role of government is to protect the people under its governance. I mean, these are very simple dots to connect, you know, the idea. And again, I mean, the people of Ohio can make decisions for the
people of Ohio. But it doesn't make it fundamentally sound, it doesn't make it logically coherent. Fact, it can be an absolute, it can be absolutely abhorrent, to be quite honest, and that's what we have in this particular situation. I think the vote was fifty roughly fifty five that voted in Ohio to determine that they have a constitutional right to abortion. I don't know. I mean again I don't I don't know that that means that they can't
limit it at all. But the general consensus, well not the consensus. The majority of people seem to believe that there exists the right to terminate in at least an early stage pregnancy in Ohio. So timeouts in order. I got shared to talk about as well. I got other things. Hrareshida Talib was censured finally, I guess that happened. Other things in the news today
as well. You can always go to the todhufshow dot com website. Go to the stack of stuff and you'll see the things that I have prepared to talk. Of course, we never get to all of them. You always come over prepared, and sometimes you just touch on the thing here or there as we're moving it through the news of the day, because there is oftentimes some interrelated, interrelatedness between these issues and so forth. But anyway, timeouts
in order shift gears. After the break here talk about basher. What does that mean? Is this a bell weather for twenty twenty four. There's all sorts of panic and everything else out there, But I want to talk about that on the other side of the break, My friends, sit tight.
You have tuned into America's home for conservative not better talk. I have to advise you listening may cause you to lean to the right, So exercise extreme I'm talking extreme caution when operating a vehicle, heavy machinery, even walking down the hallway with a cup of coffee. Probably a cup of coffee in your official top Huff Show merchandise. My friend, we got coffee mugs at the website. Quick dime out back in just a minute. Welcome back to my
friends. Now I want to one more thing before I move on to Basher. Here, just as I was sitting through the bank break, this came to mind. I don't know who this is for, but if you are one of those individuals that I mentioned last segment, if you're one of the individuals who's had an abortion, knows someone who's had I don't know, just someone who has personal heaviness about this particular issue, and I just there may
be more than a couple of you. I don't know, but these are Look, I would happily connect with you just to direct you to people that that can help. There is help out there, So you could text three one seven two one zero twenty eight thirty or you can email Todd at todefshow dot com, and I'm happy to do that. It's not about it. Look, there is there is healing and restoration out there. There is, and I'd like to help you get it if you need it. So it's
not about making it a you know, opening up wounds. It's about doing what's right from this moment forward anyway. So three one seven two one zero twenty eight thirty or email Todd at totefshow dot com. I'll connect you with people that can help that have been there. It's not me, it's people that I know that the ministries that they're involved with. So anyway, there you go, let's sift give this here, beshir. I know a lot of folks are concerned, and look, we have we have reasons to be
concerned, my friends. I mean, there's no doubt about it. This world, this world is I just turned on its head half the time. In fact, let me give you a quick synopsis of just some of the things in the stack of stuff. Here. We've got a Jewish man who was killed, was murdered, and we have a sitting senator US Senator Pocahontas, which you can call her that as the thirteenth great grandson of Poe Kahannas and reality, real life me, that's me. I'm the self appointed spokesperson
for the family. We're cool with you saying this. She's the one, Elizabeth Warren, She's the one. Actually I prefer Focahannas. That's even better. But you can go Pocahontas, you can go Focahontas either way. She's more concerned still in the wake of that murder of a Jewish man that that might I guess create more Islamophobia. It's just, I mean, the blindness
to reality. And folks, I condemn that this goes without saying the things that I never thought I would have to say behind this microphone that I'm saying on a regular basis now, because this world is an absolute disastrous mess. If you write, if you read the Bible, you know that God gives people over at some point to their depraved to a depraved mind. And I think we're we're there in a lot of ways. Mind for these things. You can't even argue with people who are in some of these godless things.
It is so that they are so down that path. I mean, it is insane. This is one of them. And I condemn. You condemn. We all condemn any form of violence against someone who's innocent. I mean, the only form of violence that's justifiable is violence that's required to protect myself.
That's why Second Amendment is a good thing. Protects us from individuals that are trying to inflict harm upon us or those that we love, and ultimately it serves as a deterrent, as a form of protection against a tyrannical government. And so I condemn all sorts of violence. Against people unjustifiable violence. I condemn all of that. Whether the victim is Jewish. This again,
why do I have to say this? Whether they're Jewish, whether they're atheists, whether they're LGBTQ, whether they're Christian, whether they're Muslim, whether they're black, White, Asian, Hispanic, none of that matters. Why in the world do we have to say these things? Because we've got people that have been given over to a depraved mind, that are actually running parts of
this country, the official business of the government. And so when a Jewish person is murdered or killed, why is the initial response to go to the narrative of we got to prevent another group from being Of course we should prevent those, But the ones that are being attacked and assaulted and murdered in mass harassed, attacked, threatened is undoubtedly to anyone with a pair of eyes and ears and who pays any attention to what's going on. In reality, it's
clearly people who are Jewish. It's reprehensible if it happens to anyone. But let's not pretend that it's happening to everyone in the same proportionality that is happening to people who are Jewish today anti Semitism. Anti Semitism, in my estimation, is the only form of hatred that really is condoned, not condemned, but condoned, approved of by these radical leftists today. It's insane, it is crazy. So we got that out there, We've got what else do
we have here? We've got the Glamour Woman of the year predictably, and dare I say boringly, so is a biological man. You know that this story has been played this I'm I'm out of an ability or care to even First of all, I don't care who Glamour thinks is the woman of the year. Secondly, this is this is ridiculous, This is stupid. This talk about again people who are following anything but science. That's for sure.
We've got us interest. The interest that we pay on our federal debt in this country has now eclipsed one trillion dollars with a tea, one trillion dollars with a T. It's truly not possible to sustain this. We are in dangerous financial times. Then we've got a Biden advisor on television who's out there with a straight phase telling the cameras that she thinks anyone in the entire world running for office would love to have Biden's economic record. So there you go.
That's just scratching, scratching the surface, my friend. So it's it's a crazy world. It's hard to predict human you know, what's going to happen in politics because of human beings that were involved in it. Right, It's hard to predict anyway, but you factor in all the craziness and insanity, it becomes progressively harder to do. And so Andy Basheer, Democrat is running well, was running for reelection as governor of Kentucky and he won.
He beat the Republican. And of course the narrative is Trump's endorsing the Republican. It's you know, some maga Republican. That's that's the narrative. Basher one. This is a bellweather, right, this is a bell weather that says Trump is not as popular as we think. Trump can't get people across
the finish line. Republicans, magga Republicans. Trump himself had better get ready for twenty twenty four because these are bad signs and bad omens, and by the way, they can be. But look, it doesn't necessarily mean that these things are anything related to one another. First of all, and I think most importantly, we need to point out who was not on this ballot. The person not on this ballot on Tuesday was Donald J. Trump.
Had Donald J. Trump been on the ballot Tuesday, I suspect that the results, the results themselves, may have been different, at least the numbers would have been different. Trump will bring people to the polls that will not that don't go to I know it's a governor's race, but again, in the minds of many people, presidents the race that you that you vote for.
So it's an off presidential year. So if you have anything that's not in a presidential year, the impact of the presidential race is of course not the same as if it were a twenty twenty four governor's race. That needs to be pointed out and recognized. I've got other things to point out as well. I've got other things to point out as well. But I'm going to do my job, folks. I am sticking to the clock in ways that you have not seen me do for a long time. OZ hasn't even
had to give me much hint today. I am being a very very good host. I'm going to take a quick time out here continue on the other side of the break this conversation about Bashir. There's definitely things that we should be concerned about when Republicans aren't winning elections. There's no doubt I recognize that. But I also want to point out that this is not quite the same scenario that they want you to believe it is. This is not a predictive
race for twenty twenty four. And there's some other obvious well, there can be some obvious concerns as to why we should pay attention and say that might be something to be prepared for in twenty twenty four. There's also things that are unique to any race. They don't have anything to do with Trump in twenty twenty four, or the larger movement led by the national led nationally by the Democrats towards radical leftism. And I want to talk about those things on
the other side of this quick time out. My friends sit tight back in mere moments. Welcome back, my friends. You know, it's never a bad thing to be prepared, it's just not And in the world that we live in, we have lots of things that we should be thinking of, mindful of, and prepared for. Things that can be caused by insane, radical, inept, corrupt politicians, things that can be caused by power outages,
things that can be caused by weather events. It's always wise to be prepared, and it's wise to be prepared with a food supply in the event of an ongoing power outage, a supply problem that can be created by any number of things, including these insanely inept, radical, out of control politicians, and policies and bureaucrats and so forth. So it's wise to be prepared. So if you go to four patriots dot com, that's the number, four Patriots with an S four patriots dot com. You use promo code Huff.
That's my last name, Huff. You know, occasionally I get huss. I don't know if I've got a lisp or what, but Huff is how you pronounced the last name, and of course you and this audience know that. But you can go see what four Patriots can do to help in the way of preparing you for a food supply. They've got the most popular package includes a three month food supply. It lasts twenty five years. It
includes breakfast and includes lunch, and includes dinner options. These stacks, excuse me, storage totes are stackable, easy, conveniently sized, and there's there. It's a three month supply. Stack them up, store them and have them on hand if and when God forbid, you should need that four Patriots dot Com promo code huff to save ten percent. So let's get back to Bisher. Let's get back to this vote. This election that we had on Tuesday this year, as I mentioned, was a Democrat this year, is
a Kentucky Democrat. And I will say Kentucky is Indiana's neighbor to the immediate south. I know that we've got listeners all over the country. A lot of folks are in Indiana. You know, Kentucky's right there to our south. Some people who've gone through the public school systems in other parts of the country may have no idea Kentucky is a state. It's Kentucky a commonwealth. I want to say it's a commonwealth, but Kentucky's one of the fifty states.
It's directly to the south of Indiana, separated from Indiana by the Ohio River. And there is a difference, my friends, there is a difference between you know, the Democrats in the southern half of Indiana and into Kentucky are not. They are not the same as Democrats that you're going to find in the Northeast, as Democrats you're going to find in San Francisco, in the Northwest, in Seattle, in places like that, in blue states.
These are not the same types of people. And so while I understand and I think that we should be mindful of the reality that this race may be something to be concerned with, I don't quite get to that point. I think, friends, you look at everything else going on, which we've gone through extensively here. I don't want to beat the dead horse. But you've got inflationary numbers that a year ago were the highest that they had been in
forty years. You have a practically open border. You've got an open border that we know terrorists are coming across. You have the Ukrainian you have the debacle in Afghanistan. You now have the Israeli Hamas war. You have Hamas ending up with weapons according to reports that we have that that they got from our abandoning Afghanistan. That's a direct causal, cause and effect relationship. We leave Afghanistan in a very well a hurried way, so that President Bribery can
get a headline, a headline that says Biden ends America's longest war. That's all he wanted. To hell with everybody else, everything else, weapons, It doesn't matter. He got his headline. That's what he wanted. It's sick, it's reprehensible. I know you got all these issues you've got. I mean, you've got millennials, not even millennials. Millennials are old enough. You're I'm taking easy. I'm joking. Gen Z. Gen Z's out
there. I've got something I put in the stack of stuff. I think yesterday or the day before, gen Z is out there saying, look, I don't I know you think I'm lazy. I'm a gen Z kid, but I've got my first job here. But I don't see the point. I can't make enough money to live. And why why is that? It's because of these radical leftist policies. You've got the enormous popularity of Trump.
Of course, there's also polls that say if Trump is convicted in any of these cases, that he's not going to win enough votes from to win the presidency. So you've got all these things out there, and I think you know, there's infinite reasons. Metaphorically, there's an infinite number of reasons to support the Republican Party in spite of all their problems over the Democrats in twenty
twenty four. And again, as I mentioned in the last segment, it's not the same thing to have a ticket that doesn't have Trump as it is to have a ticket that does have Trump. That is going to be a completely different animal. And so while it can be concerning, we should pay attention, it ultimately comes down to individual campaigns as well. And yes, there can be an overarching national mood or feeling or a trend that can push
a lot of these elections. I don't deny that. But I also want to point out the obvious, and that is that Andy Basheer, and this happens in a lot of these races, right Connor Lamb the congressional race in Pennsylvania years ago. I remember this. It was a special election, and
Connor Lamb was out there campaigning like he was a Republican. And in a lot of ways, Andy Basheer and Kentucky Democrats and Democrats in that part of the country, southern half of Indiana down down through the South, my friends, they are not West coast elitist leftists, They just are not. And ironically they have much more in common with the conservative guy like me, with limited government, conservatives, libertarian types in this audience, and they have with
today's radical left. So this idea that Andy Basher with some leftist bastion of hope that suddenly puts the left in control now of Kentucky is not the correct way of looking at this. Now, does he still lean left in ways that people don't see? Is he's subtle? Is he a covert leftist or at least liberal? I'll be nice to mister Bashir, Governor Bashir, and I won't call him an outright leftist, because I don't think that he is. But I think that he's sympathetic to the very liberal causes, but not
openly. A lot of times when it's time to campaign, these folks try to sound more at least like moderates, if not like conservatives when they're campaigning. It's not this election that he wasn't elected to implement a radical leftist agenda, plain and simple, and that needs to be pointed out as well. And I got texted about this, that's why, Well, I was going to talk about this anyway, But anyway, I appreciate the messages on that
as well. Timeouts in order. Yes, as you're correct, I'm a little bit long this segment, just a little bit though, my friends, it's tight. Back in a minute, Welcome back to my friends. So so so so I want to actually take a moment here and I want to talk a little bit more as in the remaining time we have after this, just really quickly, one more segment about the election. But this segment, I want to talk with you about a mistake I made. Oh my,
I heard the gasps. I heard him. You guys are shocked. I made a mistake I did in passing the other day referenced something that was incorrect on posts that I had seen. There was a video that was circulating that purported to show Gavin Newsom slipping down the stairs. Pop pop, Pup, Pup, Pup, pup pop. And it turns out that that was not who that was. It looked like Gavin Newsome and if I'm being honest, it came about a week or so after he ran over the kid on his
trip to China playing basketball. If you've not seen that, that one is real. That one is real. He thought he had a mismatch he called for ball and he just mowed over some little kid in China. That one's real. So I thought it fit. I thought it fit them, and
it looked like him and the person that posted it. And I mean, I won't mention name as someone that I know and no one trusts, no personally, we just were were It wasn't correct, It wasn't correct, And so I just want to let you know that Gavin Newsom didn't fall coming down the steps from an aircraft. It actually was senator well at the time, he was football coach Tommy Tubberville, who's now a senator for what Alabama. And anyway, I just wanted to let you know that. Now I will
say this, well, let me reiterate. Newsom is still mowing over little children out there. So if you have kids, just be careful if you see the guy coming by, if there's a basketball, if there's a football, if there's a baseball, any sort of thing that gives Governor Newsom the excuse to play sports with your children, just beware, especially something like football. I mean UFC, your kid might get a roundhouse kick to the back of the head. Just be ready, just be ready. But I will
say this too. I will say this. The reason I mentioned that in passing was because I thought it was a little bit humorous. And that's another thing. Can we all just get a sense of humor, folks. None of this is personal to me. None of it is when you when you insert yourself into politics, this includes me. I have some atrocious things said about me on yours. Truly, as Rush used to say, this harmless, lovable little fuzzball, I have some atrocious things said about me on especially
social media. It's never an interpersonal find that interesting too. It's never in interpersonal relationships or conversations or even emails. It's just not the way that it works. People might disagree, but they're that's fine. It's not hateful and belligerent. You go on social media, I mean, these loser keyboard warriors, that's what they live for. Genuinely, don't read it. If you
want to get me friends, you probably should email or text. That's the way, because I don't go out there and read all the garbage that's said. So but I did find it humorous. I did find it humorous enough that I thought Newsom filled down the stairs. I thought, you know, this guy looks like he's giving Biden a running for his money, because Biden's falling all over the place. He's falling on stages, he's falling downstairs.
Actually Biden falls upstairs, which I find fascinating. He tips over when he's on his bicycle stationary with both feet on the ground. You know, I mean, I heard a comedian say he looks like a rumba the minute he finishes his speech, shuffling from not knowing where to go, just like bouncing off of the wall, so to speak. And again, I can say this because look, they've told me that there's nothing wrong with Biden, that this is just fine. It's just Biden being Biden. We don't have anything
to be worried about. He's completely mentally there. Biden says he's the healthiest president ever or whatever he's out there saying. Then I'm just gonna take him at their word, and I'm gonna say, Okay, then I'm gonna point out, I'm gonna point out these things and we're gonna have a little bit of fun with them because it's nothing to be concerned about, because it's just
normal, it's nothing to be alarmed about. So well, then I guess we can have some fun with it, and it must be something that Biden voters want in a candidate, because as I've gone through the list of things that he's caused to this country, I mean, they're not good. So I think maybe they're looking for someone to fall. And I thought that's a great, great move by Gavin Newsom. I think it's strategically better. He might want to start falling. That might actually improve his odds of winning.
Well, again, he's not technically in, but if he wants to win the hearts and minds of these leftist voters, that might be the path to do so. Then the other thought I had was I didn't know Tuberville. Maybe Tuberville's the one who switched parties and nobody told me, and maybe he's trying to throw his name in the hat for the Democratic nomination. I don't know. I got all these ideas out there as to what might explain this, But at the end of the day, I was incorrect, and I
just wanted to let you know that it does happen. It's incredibly rare. First time it's happened in probably about four years. Anyway, timeouts in order come back and wrap up for the day. My friends back in just a minute. Welcome back to my friends. Not a lot of time here, but I want to mention this, and you can go to the Stack of Stuff page if you want to see this yourself. Todd Huffshow dot com.
One of the main sections of the website that you'll see if you're on your mobile device, there's three little lines that'll if you click that, it'll be a drop down menu. As I bumped the mic here, it'll show you what it'll shaw. Stack of Stuff is one of the options. And likewise, if you just go to the website off a desktop computer or laptop or
whatever, you'll see Stack of Stuff. You can go there and you can go to today's show November ninth, and you can read some of the things that happened in these polling places on election day, some of these things that are very you talk about problematic stuff, election integrity stuff, and you can just read some of that. I don't have time to talk about it, Gotta go, SBG
