Episode description

Another Trump trial date was proposed for March 4 - the day before Super Tuesday. This is what actual election interference looks like. Legal experts say none of the trials will start before Election Day. But have you ever noticed just how differently they apply the rules to Trump? Moral crimes versus process crimes. Eric Swalwell says Biden can either be sleepy or corrupt, but not both.

Greetings, my friends, you have tuned in to America's Conservative not Bitter Talk. I am your host, Todd Huff. As always, you can connect

Todd at tod huffshow dot com is the email or text three one seven two one zero twenty eight thirty. Message and data rates may apply not from us, as you all know. So we are venturing into unchartered waters as we are going through these indictments for Trump. We've got the DC trial date that has been scheduled.

It's been scheduled to begin the day before Super Tuesday. Now we've been through this already, you would have. In fact, when I saw this, I initially thought, well, this is old news because I remember talking about it on this program. I remember going through this very discussion. I remember the date March fourth, and I thought, this is, why are we just now getting people talking about a trial date that I remember talking about.

And it's because it's for a different trial we are now talking. So initially, initially, Fanny Willis recommended or proposed or whatever the word is, March fourth, for the first day of the trial that was, you know, the Fulton County, Georgia trial, the one that Trump actually got his mug shot taken four And by the way, I said, yesterday seven point one

million. I saw an email from Trump's team saying that since the mug shot had been taken, they had raised now over nine million, and it's probably more than that. Even now I'm referencing an email from a day or so ago. They may have eclipse ten million. I don't know. I don't know, But what I do know is that that particularly, it's hard to

keep these things straight. Right, We've got we've got the indictment in Manhattan, right, We've got the indictment in Fulton County, Georgia, got the two federal indictments, and Jack Smith this particular trial is referencing the trial date set by Jack Smith, well, the one where the charges are being brought by by Jack Smith the Washington DC, Washington DC trial where Trump is requesting a change of venue and everything else. Now Trump is going to appeal this.

But Super Tuesday is a big deal in the primary season. Now that happens to be Marched the fifth. Incidentally, I should point out that Fanny Willis, who again Oz says Fanny Willis gives Fanny Packs a bad name. But Fanny Willis picked March fourth as the date of the trial in Georgia. Now, as I understand it, Governor Kemp Is intervened and is saying that's not going to happen because that's just I think a week and a day from the Georgia primary, which I believe and I'm going from memory here, I

believes May March the twelfth. But Super Tuesday is the day where I believe there's been some changes in recent years. But in historically speaking, Super tuesdays the day that the most primaries. It's an early part of the primary season and it's the first day where it's the day where the most of these primaries hit. There's a lot of primaries on Super Tuesday. So now we have two trials. I mean, friends do you need any more evidence that this

is what actual election interference looks like. I'm chuckling not because I find pleasure in this. I'm chuckling because anyone who can't see this, I don't know what to say. I don't know what to say to somebody who is prepared to believe this. Let this all sink in for a moment, you're prepared to believe if someone does not find any of this timing, the corresponding dates with can't you know? Primaries and so forth. If you don't find this

troubling, you either truly don't care. You've checked out a long time ago, which part of me thinks maybe I'm just kidding. I don't say maybe that's the way to go. I don't believe that I'm just messing around, But part of me either well, the three types of people that aren't bothered by this, or either people that have checked out. They've decided I've given up on this government. I'm going to live my life, ignore the news, and find a beach somewhere. And there's a decent amount of people that

have chosen that. Unfortunately, unfortunately, they cannot escape a government out of control either, even if they decide to put their head in the sand. There's another group that hates Trump so ferociously, so ferociously that they don't care. They're blind you know the term blinded by rage or blinded by hate.

I don't know of an example of a scenario that it makes more sense to say that, and then related to the blinding that people have from their hatred for Trump or their anger and rage that they have towards Trump, I don't know of a better example to say. These are people. These are people who have completely they don't care, they don't care about anything else. They

only see Trump, They only see whatever it is. They've been stirred up to see what they've been led to believe what, They've focused in satiably on what they are refusing to ever look past or to acknowledge that maybe, just maybe there's another perspective that doesn't require one to be full of rage and anger in bitterness. See other people who put their head in the sand, the

people who are blinded by the rage. And of course you get the people who are coordinating all of this, people who are planning this, the people who are using their power to actually interfere with an election. This is what

actual election interference looks like. So we're supposed to believe, and I've been through this before, but we're supposed to believe that crimes, alleged crimes that would have happened at least two and a half years ago, maybe close to three years ago, we're supposed to believe that all those crimes, from federal crimes to crimes within certain Fulton County, Georgia and Manhattan, New York.

We're supposed to believe that within a couple of month window, that all of those indictments for crimes that had happened at least two and a half years ago, closing in on three all happened to fall within a very short window. They all happen to get grand juries to indict in a very short window. They also happen to get that window of time just ever so coincidentally, that

window coincides with the beginning of the twenty twenty four presidential campaign season. We're also supposed to believe that all of these Republican candidates are going to jump into the race, jump into the race knowing that President Trump has what I don't even know the polling sixty percent, He's got huge mammoth leads on the rest of the field, even taking into account, taking into account the number of candidates. I mean, normally, when there's this many candidates, everybody stuck

at twelve to fifteen percent. Maybe someone gets to twenty percent. No one comes out swinging at fifty or sixty percent or whatever he's at. So that's

where we that's where we are. So we're supposed to believe that just coincidentally happened that Republicans coincidentally decide to burn through their own money, burned through their campaigns, money go out and donors are going to happily be giving money to individuals that in a normal election cycle would never have the chance of winning because of the power the support that the front runner has. You've got campaigns or

I should say rallies, excuse me. That had been happening pretty much consistently from the time Trump left office. There's not really been a decrease in the energy or the excitement around Trump. There was a little bit of time where he didn't have the same amount of limeline, I suppose, but these the flag stayed up, the Trump hats continued to sell, and now they're selling mug shots signed mug shots, they're signing mug shot glasses, selling mug shot

glasses, they're selling T shirts. They're doing all of these things because of the movement. So we're supposed to believe that's a coincidence. We're also supposed to believe that everybody, just ever so coincidentally during the primary season has decided has decided to again, just ever so coincidentally, have their trial dates.

In two cases now, it's been recommended or proposed to begin the trial in two cases now, two of the four fifty percent fifty percent of his trials have had recommended or proposed start dates of March fourth, the day before Super Tuesday, the day before the day before lots of Republicans are going to vote to a lackt or to nominate candidate for president in twenty twenty four, just supposed to be a coincidence. The other dates, of course, are quotinciding

with election dates as well, or at least in the primary season. In fact, on the stack of stuff today, I have this, sayre we go. I've got a article linked here. Who wrote this is PJ Media. PJ Media is writing headline here, here's the proof that Trump's trials are election interference. And so this is written by Matt Margolis at PJ Media, and he basically goes through any outlines. He outlines the ever so coincidental trial dates and when they are and how those line up with the election, with

the primary process. Again, we're supposed to believe that this is just coincidental. And so here we go, moving into twenty twenty four, quickly moving into these trial dates, which normally I've considered I haven't we don't interview many people, but I've considered bringing in a trial attorney and just asking him or her, Look, what's a normal amount of time that it takes from indictment

to trial? Some of these trials, one of them it might have been in this article here that I just referenced, or it could have been, and there's a couple of others that have in the stack of stuff, but here, no, it's in this one. So Politico, let's say Politico is saying here that there is twelve point eight million pages of evidence and there are more than two hundred and fifty government witnesses. I don't know which trial that one is. I'm trying to see her from from the from the article

here, but it's one of the four. Oh, it's it's the most recent. It's it's the one here where it's the DC trial. So Trump's team wanted the trial to start in twenty twenty six. The judge says,

absolutely not. And this is an excerpt from an article from a report at Political thebulk of Monday's hearing in Chuckkins courtroom focused on that's The judge focused on the sheer volume of evidence prosecutors had have handed over to Trump's defense team to prepare for the trial, twelve point eight million pages or files drawn from grand jury interviews, the National Archives, the House now Boy the House January sixth,

Select Committee's evidence. Can we get Kinsinger back on the Will Kinsinger cry on the stand here if he's allowed to testify? I don't know. And Trump's campaign and packs prosecutors on the team of Special Counsel Jack Smith indicated that their efforts to provide this information to Trump was quote substantially complete and came in

five matches over the last several weeks. They said they had taken extraordinary steps to organize, digitize, annotate the evidence to help facilitate Trump's ability to prepare for trial. I bet. I'm absolutely sure that that's what's going on here. Twelve point eight million pages or files of evidence. That's what the team has to prepare for now. We all, of course have a right to a speedy trial, but no one should be forced into a rushed trial.

And this is just not the normal. If these dates stay it. I referenced yesterday or maybe the day before, talked about Alan Derschowitz, talked about Jonathan Turley, and I talked about what they're saying, which is, there's no way that any of these trials are going to be beginning before November fifth, which is election day, twenty twenty four. But I mean, look, in a normal situation, I would think that these legal experts are absolutely

correct. But I just think and we had better be ready for this. Nothing, absolutely nothing that's transpired as it pertains to Trump, these indictments, these charges, the court case, his election, the way he's covered in the media, Impeachment one, impeachment two, Russia, Russia, Russia delusion, that collusion, delusion. We got all these things stacking up one by one. Nothing has been ordinary as it pertains to Donald Trump, the raid

at Marlago, None of these things are natural and normal. He always his circumstances never fit the status quo. It never is the way that it normally functions. While Todd that's because he tried to overthrow our democracy. This guy who's trying to destroy this country blah blah blah, when in reality, my friends, the ones who are trying to destroy this country are doing it right in front of the eyes of the American people. They hate this country beyond

my wildest imagination. They hate this country in ways that average people can never will, never comprehend and relate to. They're destroying the economy, they're destroying our southern border. In fact, welding open. You know, they welded open the gates along the southern border. Well, to those band boys,

open gates that are supposed to shut and lock are welded open. Why why do you think that it's I'll tell you, my friends, because that's what destroying a country looks like, the one of the ways, one of the many ways. And don't say that's the only way, because they'll say, hold my beer, I can think of another twenty five thousand ways to harm

this country. Says the Biden administration. Says the AOC's of the world, says the woke, the ultra leftists running our universities, running your child's education, your grandchild's education in local public schools, and so forth. Those that are developing movies for the American people and even our children to consume, they say, hold my beer. I can think of many, many more ways to destroy this nation because they hate it, my friends, and I'm up

against the clock here, timeouts in order. Sit tight, my friends. You're listening to conservative. Got a lot more to get to today. You're listening to conservative, not bitter talk. I'm your host. Ho huff back in a minute, Welcome back to my friends. Imagine being Jack Smith. Imagine being this special prosecutor who's supposed to be simply trying to enforce the law under no pressure, new new, no pressure whatsoever from the bind administration,

the Department of Justice. You go over here, you do your own thing. You do your own thing. We're not even going to pay attention to what you're doing. You just seek justice, Jack Smith. That's what we're supposed to believe is happening here, and we're supposed to believe. I just how thick headed does someone have to believe to or be to believe that there are actually two, now two of the four indictments that are looking to move

towards trial dates. How in the world do two of them recommend a start date before Super Tuesday, which is arguably the most important day in the primary process, which is March for the day after. I just there's no conceivable way. Well, Todd Jacksmith doesn't even look at the political counter. This guy is so folks on justice, he doesn't even think about politics. Oh,

bet me, give me a break. You really believe that, you really believe that someone who's reached the levels of well, the levels of jack Smith, however you want to frame that, You really believe that he is so singlemindedly focused on justice for Trump, getting to the bottom of all this, making sure that he's held accountable. Trump is held accountable for the sins

he's committed against the Constitution and the American people. Are you really believing that he is so focused on that that he did not stop to even consider He may not even know, does he know? If you believe that? Do you think he even knows that we are embarking upon a new political campaign. Do you think that's even crossed his mind? Do you think he's so just focused on justice and getting this taking care of through the legal system as efficiently

as possible. By the way, they don't seem to care about anything else. I mean, if you look, just look, just have just have a casual browsing of how quickly things move through the legal system. Just take just take a general look. I'm not an expert in this matter, but I do know. I do know casually speaking. For example, if you are if you are convicted and sentenced to a death since if you're sentenced to death row, look at how long it takes the average case, how long

it takes the average sentence to be completed. Whatever your opinions are of that. I'm not trying to get into a death penalty discussion here, but look how long that takes a lot of how many are even ever remotely close to actually being carried out when you look at when you look at appeals and everything else. Just the wheels of justice, right, we're told, the wheels

of justice, they turn slowly, ever so slowly. Well, unless Trump's the one that you're trying to get justice for, then we put it into microwave mode. Then we, you know, get a more powerful engine to operate the proceedings. We put it into overdrive, we put on some turbo boosters, we just we accelerate it in a massive way. This is not normal. And if this passes as normal to someone that you know, on the outside chance that someone's listening to me, if this sounds normal to you,

I encourage you to try your hardest. I encourage you to try to get that other person to try his or her hardest to put down, put down their anger and rage against Trump, and say, is this really the way to go about it? Well, if it stops Trump, they might say, then it's worth it is it isn't I don't think so. Well, I definitely know so in the case of Trump, because Trump this is all fabricated and manufactured stuff. But I think, no matter what, the

legal system is designed to be the legal system for a reason. The Founders had witnessed. The Founders had witnessed and experienced, in some cases, what it looks like to have a government that has hell bent on getting someone, finding a way to target someone who's usually well almost always, or I should say always in the political opposition. You target them, you go after them, and you go get them. You set up scenarios that make sure.

And by the way, you have so many rules in the administrative state that no one can possibly that no one can possibly know and say with certainty that they're not violating one of the Brazilian rules in the administrative state, and then you go get them, You go get them, and then you target them for all sorts of process crimes, which my friends are. Is a massive difference between a process crime and a crime that violates the moral code, the

moral code that's all written in the heart of man and women. I just say, man, in general, it used to be able to do that, and I don't think you can do that anymore. And in humanity, we all have a conscience that speaks to the moral code. We all have a a general understanding. In fact, if you ever read the books Are Christianity by C. S. Lewis, which I highly encourage you to read

if you haven't, he makes a great argument for this. In fact, he says, and I'll take a break after this, He says, starts the book off this way that when people talk about well, you know, there's all these civilizations and cultures throughout the world, they've had vastly different moral codes and CS. Lewis is not so fast. What do you mean by vastly different moral codes? He says, In fact, I would maintain that

we all, you know, different cultures might have agreed or disagreed. I should say as to whether a man could have one, why or twenty. But as CS Lewis writes, that no man should just simply have any woman he desires. Or put another way, he said, find me the culture, find me the civilization that finds it noble to run from battle. Now this was before modern wokeism, so C. S. Lewis might have found some woke people in today's world who find it noble to run from the field

of battle. But the point he's making is that there are things that are ingrained within us, a moral law that has written written on the hearts of man and women, all people, and it's such a powerful force that when we do something that we know violates that moral code, we immediately try to

excuse ourselves. What's the point that it's brilliantly written? By the way, why would I feel the need to explain to another person some act that I took, Say, for example, I think he uses the example I cut someone cuts you in line you're waiting in a line for you know, food or a roller coaster at some amusement park or whatever. Someone cuts and everyone looks at that person like, hey, dude, what's going on? And immediately, well, they'll do one or two things. Sometimes they'll just ignore

you. I hope you didn't notice. But if you engage them, they'll try to give an excuse. And his point is is that that moral code is so powerful within us that we feel like, hey, I've got to give this person an answer, because I know inside they have the same expectation as to what is moral and ethical and right and just so I have to explain to them why I need some sort of an exemption here, why it

appears that I broke the moral code, but I really didn't. And so when a law is built upon just the natural state of the moral code, we don't need to be taught that because it is within us. Thou shalt not kill, for example, actually better stated thou shall not murder. That's another topic for another day. But the point is we know those things to be wrong because it's written on our hearts. Now, if it says you have to file Form B instead of Form A, something that happened to me,

by the way, that's not written in the Moral code. That's a process crime. So if I file Form B because I'm not sure I'm supposed to file Form A and I should have filed Form A or vice versa, then that's a process crime. And to have someone to have a ton of process crimes, crimes that we have no way of knowing we're violating unless we are familiar with the bazillions of pages and rules and regulations, then it's a dangerous slope. And so then this is the beauty, well, it's the

actual tyranny that exists. But when you have a bunch of process crimes that you're targeting people for things that should not be if you want to include them as an additional crime. When a crime of actual, you know, a moral code crime being committed someone breaking the moral code, and that's that's a different matter. But if someone's going about their business and act in ignorance because they simply don't know all the rules and regulations, that becomes a process crime.

There's no way for them to know what's a crime unless they're familiar with all of the it's out of control. Who was it that said show me the person, and I'll find you the crime was it. Stalin is one of those lovers of big government. And so this is what this has turned

into. Right, Trump is executing his or I should say he is exercising That's what I'm meant to say, his free speech, challenging election results, questioning what's going on, making political arguments, much like as I played earlier this week, that campaign back in twenty sixteen that was designed to try to get electors to change from voting for Trump to someone else and then send it back to Congress. It's the same exact thing that was an ad campaign in

twenty sixteen. You can listen to the show from a couple of days ago. I think it was Monday, which would have been what the twenty eighth. I guess there was an ad campaign about that back in twenty sixteen. No one went to prison, no one got indicted, no one had any

of those things. But now Trump comes along and they are bending the law, manipulating the law, much like they bent and manipulated the election laws in certain states to extend deadlines and rules because quote unquote COVID, which, by the way, keep your eye on this because it's going to be weaponized against us again if we allow it to do so. Anyway, long in this segment, I know, really long in this segment. Oz is not here

today, so that's I'm gonna blame it on that. But timeouts in order difference between process crime moral moral crime, and when everything is process and procedural and there's twelve point whatever million pages of documents and then you give Trump's legal teams six months to prepare. Is that what it is? Six months? And then it doesn't jibe and it just so happens to be on Super Tuesday.

They think that you're stupid, my friends. And again going back to that Oliver Anthony song, that line from the song that's my favorite line actually, which basically he basically says, they don't think that you know, but I know that you do. I know that you know this. I know that you understand what they're doing. Maybe not every of the every one of the ins and outs, maybe not every detail, but we understand what is

going on. We do know what's up. The jig is up, by the way, and Trump here is they are throwing everything at him because they know they know that they have massive trouble on their hands. If they don't try to do stump something to interfere with the selection timeout is in order.

My friends. They are fighting. They are fighting a battle at the average American I still don't think completely comprehends, but it is for the battle for the survival of this beast that they have created in Washington, DC, the bureaucratic state, the big government. They are fighting for their lives because it is corrupt, it is evil. It gives them power and authority and money and influence. They don't want to give it up. They're going to get

in trouble if the true light of day is shined upon that. And the light of day that's going to be shined upon that most likely comes from President Donald Trump. And that is why they are terrified. They will interfere at all costs, and they'll get some people to believe that they're justified. It's absolutely crazy and I'm absolutely along in this segment. Sit tight, my friends. The next one's going to be short. Back in just a minute.

Welcome back, my friends. So very very very abbreviated segment this time, because of course I have kept us off pace to the clock here this particular program, and of course I have as such, violated my New Year's resolution, which here we are end of August. I've still I've still not completely fallen into alignment with my New Year's resolution from two twenty three. But we are trying. We are a work in progress. We will get this figured out. By the way, my friends, it might be time for you

to consider consider switching your banking relationship to America's Christian Credit Union. That's right, my friends. America's Christian Credit Union allows fellow believers who want to support one another, their ministry, and your values, all while earning competitive returns

on your deposits and enjoying some bonuses when you decide to join. And there are some bonuses they have today on their website, and their website can be reached by going to America's Christian CEU, America's Christian SeeU, and that see you stands for credit Union, America's Christian Credit Union. America's CHRISTIANCU dot com

slash radio is the website America's CHRISTIANCU dot com slash Radio. You'll find some of those special bonuses if you check those out today again, America's Christian CEU dot com slash radio. See those special bonuses that are available if you should decide to join. So that being said, I told you I gotta keep it short and brief. This segment timeout is in order. My friends,

sit tight. You're listening to conservative not bit of talk. I am your host, Todd huff back in. But gotta pull the right thing up here. Here we go back in just a minute. Friends. So I don't know if you've seen this. There's actually other things going on in the news besides this all out assault on President Trump and his ability to run a campaign in the twenty twenty four election year. And one of those things is, of course, what's happening in the Biden wine house. Biden, by the

way, did you see It's in the snack of stuff. I don't have time to get to it, but it is worth mentioning. Biden claimed that he literally convinced strom Thurmand this. He convinced, he said, strom Thurman, to support the Civil Rights Act of nineteen sixty four. Biden was twenty one. I know, it seems like in sixty four Biden should have been eighty, but he was only twenty one years old. I believe somehow convinced strom Thurman to support the Civil Rights Act. Nineteen sixty four, which strom

Thurman didn't even support. I mean, Biden, Why does everything have to be about Biden? And why does everything have to be made up about Biden? If I find out Cornpop is made up, I need the legend of Cornpop to be true. If I find out that one's not true, I don't know how I'm going to live. So anyway, we've got all this corruption with Biden. You've got Eric Swalwell. You'll remember Swallowell's the representative who had the fling allegedly with the Chinese spy. Of course, we're not supposed

to be bothered by that at all. He's on some MSNBC show where he's on quite a bit, and he's upset. Swallowall is upset that Biden is referred to both as sleepy Joe and it's a corrupt Joe or some such thing. Is that what they call him? Corrupt, corrupt Biden, crime family whatever. Swallowall says, Hey man, these things are not compatible. I want you to listen to the stupidity of this defense against Biden that are stacking up against here. It is you also have the House Speaker Kevin McCarthy.

I mean you just listed all these things that are on his plate. But he's saying the Chamber could start an impeachment inquiry against Biden come September. How do you expect that to play out over the coming weeks if those proceedings start. I mean, this is a guy who seems to be very distracted from the priorities of the American people and focusing on this. But how do you think this would even play out in the Chamber. They don't even know who

they want to impeach. This Congress started with choices, threats of impeaching Secretary of ma Orchis, and then it was FBI Director Christopher Ray, and then Merrick Garland and now Joe Biden. And by the way, Amon one day he's sleepy Joe, the next day he's corrupt. Joe. I know people who are sleepy. I know people who are corrupt. I don't know anyone who is both these guys just know that they are reflexively anti anything Biden's doing,

whether it's for the economy. So Swallow thinks you can be corrupt or you can be sleepy, but you can't be both. You can't be falling asleep at important state functions. And corrupt. Those two things and Swallowell's mind, which I'm pausing to think how I want to say when I think about Swalwell's mind, but I'll just leave it be. And Swalwell's mind, he

says that you can't be both. You can't be corrupt and someone who's just I guess some gentle old man who's dozing off during cabinet meetings or whatever, taking vacations every fifteen or twenty minutes. Swalwell says those two things are not compatible. So I'll ask you, do you think the concepts of being sleepy and an uneffective, unenergetic leader who's incoherent half the time, does that by definition means that you cannot be corrupt? I mean, are those two even

even related? I mean, it's it's kind of silly for Swalowall to suggest that you can't both. I don't question then he knows people that are both sleepy and corrupt. In fact, I would venture to say he knows a lot of people who are corrupt, a whole lot of people in the Democrat Party. So time out is in order, my friends, sit tight back here in, folks, I gotta pull this thing back up I got the wrong. Where did that go? We take a time out. There we go, there, we go back in just a minute. Com back,

my friends.
