Episode description

We’re gonna talk about the Southern Baptist Convention, but we got there by way of sharing a personal story from my family reunion. I was able to reconnect with a cousin this past weekend who has chosen to live as a man. Although we disagree on this topic, it was heartwarming to know that love really does conquer that. I had a great opportunity to allow the Holy Spirit work through me. On the topic of the SBC, while they spout the lies of gender and homosexuality, they are debating if they can align with the Nicene Creed. I am not saying the SBC is part of the satanic movement, but there is one, and it is loud.

What does God’s Word say?
Mark 12:30-31
30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’[a] 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b] There is no commandment greater than these.”

So the Southern Baptist Convention is back at it. They're debating the Nicene Creed. We'll talk about what's in the creed and why this would be controversial. I don't know, other than the Southern Baptist Convention has effectively become Satan's basic church. Before we get to that, I'm excited to share with you an experience I had at the family union. I want to be careful because I don't know there's a great idea for you know, podcasters talk to your hosts

to go around and saying people's names and family events. I've talked enough about this. This person is very comfortable with the decision they've made and not hiding anything, so I feel comfortable talking about it from that regard. But I've been sharing with you my concern about hurting feelings at a family union because one of our family members made the decision to live life as a man though she's a woman, and she did this just before the age majority. Gosh.

I love her, and I was just I was worried, maybe even for no reason. I was worried, But I can't imagine I was the only one who's worried. So we'll talk about that with the help of YouTube dot com slash at the Todd Herman Show, and it puts a ton of efforts into taking highlights of the show and putting me in an easily consumable form. We're very, very close to a magic number at YouTube. I don't want to be doing business with YouTube. We have to because this is the number

one podcasting platform in the world. And I do have a heart to reach young people with God's word, particularly on topics like this. So you can get great free video content at YouTube dot com slash at the Todd Herman Show, and you can also help us reach young people. And God, would you also help make sure that we are wise as serpents and gentle as doves

as dealing and dealing with this monstrosity that is this Google owned company. The Todd Herman's Show is one hundred percent disapproved by big pharma technocrats and tyrants everywhere. No from the high mountains of Free America. Here's the Emerald City exile God her Man. Today is a day the Lord has made and vise at the time so which God has decided we shall live. I've been not Someone

pointed out to me the day that I worry. And it didn't really occur to me that I'm a worrier, but I guess in a way, I am. And it really comes down to high stakes personal things. For me, I don't worry about other world events. I'm not worried about the world. I don't live in fear. God tells us to have a spirit not of fear, but of love and certainty and Him and faith in Him. But when it comes to high stakes personal affairs and interactions, I do worry.

Part of that is because this could sound very self serving, and forgive me if it does. Because I'm a semi public person and probably in relation to my family, a very public person. My views about all things are one hundred percent known to everybody. Anybody who wants to look knows my views on things. It's not hard to ascertain. And on the topic of gender, my views on this have been known throughout the family for seven or eight

years, very very clearly. No. And so it was a lot of trepidation and worry I had going into this family reunion because there's a young woman there who she would introduce herself as a man. I'll use her first initial P. And this is a decision she made pretty long ago to go live this way. And I remember when she'd made that decision and announced it to her parents. She was just before eighteen, and at a discussion with a dear family member who has been gosh, he's been a blessing to me,

great older male figure, such a good man. And I've been in their home multiple times. And so when p made this decision, I have my views, you know what they are. I don't believe that men can become women. I don't think women can become men. No surgery, no wrong sex hormones, nothing can accomplish that. And I've always recognized the true painful condition of actual gender dys for it, which is a real thing, and

it's existed for a very long time. It's been a very small number of people who've experienced it, and it used to be that there were a lot of roadblocks and gatekeepers between a surgical hormonal outcome and therapy. It was a talk therapy thing for well fifty sixty years, and it still should be in

my judgment. So that's all changed as pharma realized that this is one hundred billion dollar category for them, as retailers recognize this is one hundred billion dollar category for them, as the Democrat Party realized that this can be a permanent voting block for them, and as people who are driving the cultural revolution through America's heart to burn the nation down on Rulebard's ashes, as we talked about on Monday, As they realized the potency of this to destroy the nuclear family,

they embraced it and pushed it. That's changed the dynamic that a lot of people who are expressing gender dysphoria, it's not even dysphoria. It's rebellion, its rejection. It's denial, and it's a far different animal than someone who organically comes upon these feelings. Now I could look at this and say, this is a spiritual thing. This is the enemy dissuading you, distracting

you, depressing you, distorting things. I haven't had the talk with this family member yet to hear from her point of view about this, and it's a talk now I genuinely want to have. I want to listen. I always want to listen to people I love listen to understand why I shouldn't say I always do, but I always want to be that way. So when we arrived, my daughter and I drove to this together. When we arrived, the first human being I saw was p my younger cousin, and she

looked at me and I wave, but she didn't wave back. Now I don't know that she saw me wave because it could be the reflection through the truckwun shit. I don't even know if she knew it was me. But something really horrible happened. I forgot her new name, the name that she's taken on, and it's been a number of years since she's been using this name. And I'm an old man and I forgot. But I think I

was also nervous again out of a concern to not hurt. So I'll tell you how this manifests, because we started to get out of the truck, and I'll explain this to you. I'll also tell you, though, that I had a great Father's Day weekend. My wife and daughter did something very very cool for me. We reset My daughter and I performed again a song we did together with no rehearsal. Way back in the day. She learned a song at church or a school, I don't remember which. It was

a private school. Love goes round in a circle, comes around, knocking on your front door and she was singing it at home and my wife had said, Hey, maybe you could do a little duet, and I thought, oh, yeah, I can figure out the chords. So that's sing that for me, honey, and I'll put some chords to it. So we did, and that's been a cherished video for many, many years. And my daughter and I redid that this weekend was I think my wife's idea.

My daughter gladly participated, she seemed glad to participate. Her boyfriend was there, my mom was there. It was a really cool scene and I'll cherish that for the rest of my life. I also cherished the fact that my wife and daughter decided to hide the ft that her boyfriend was coming over, my mom was coming over. I kind of guessed that. But for Father's Day, but a great time, made better by the fact that we took the Edenpure thunderstorm to devices and we brought those into the front room,

into the kitchen. These are the devices that destroy negative smells, and we have negative smells. We have cats and litter boxes. We have a dog that has the just disgusting habit. I love my white dog, but she has a disgusting habit. She finds things that stink and she rolls at them and she seeks them out. I see her in the backyard like, hey, Luna, don't think I don't know you're looking for a stink. And I'll go catch her Luna, and she'll look up. She's not in a

shame. She had no this is some really good stink. This is a dead bird. I'm rolling in. Like, if you have pats, you know how this works. They just can destroy the smell of your house, the thunderleaf or the thunderstorm from edenperedeals dot com. It just destroys these smells with ozone. It's not an air filter. Those things are expensive. I've replaced the filters all the time. This is an air cleanser. You can get this with a pet Stink guarantee. It'll wipe out the pet orders or

get your money back. Go to Eatinpero deals dot com and use code Todd three Tudd three to get two hundred dollars off a three pack of these. That's a two hundred dollars savings. I would add two hundred dollars off Eatinpero deals dot com and use code Todd three to get that discount, and the pet Stink guarantee. I think they're saying pet order guarantee. I like pet

stink guarantee, eatingpreod deals dot com code todd three. So when we got out of the truck, my daughter and I we went up to Pee, and I awkwardly used that wrong name, and she corrected me, and I said, oh gosh, I'm so sorry, I'm so old, I'm so decrepit. And I took her hand in both of mine, and I was so overjoyed to see her well and to see her beautiful eyes, beautiful beautiful eyes. And look, she is living as a man, short hair and you know, hair, and her legs and such, and she's just Pee.

She's not a different person. She's just Pe, just who she's always been. So my daughter and her absolutely hit it off and instantly, And they did not grow up together. I mean they saw each other on a few occasions, but instantly they're grooving together on one another's phones and talking about life and love and what it's been like in the past four years and what the journey of life's been through like. And my daughter now has tattoos,

and she certainly didn't have tattoos back then. And I'm not wild about that tattoos, and my daughter knows that I love her. I don't love the tattoos. See, I don't love that decision she made to get tattooed. Now, that doesn't have the same implications as being chemically and surgically altered or wrong sex hormones. It doesn't have the same implications. Tattoos are reversible, and I'm aware. I know about the Bible's warnings against being tattooed. I

know about that. I don't think it's a salvation issue, and if it was a salvation issue, I'd be freaked. I don't think it's a salvation issue now. I do worry that denying the sex God made you is a salvation issue. I worry about that because it's to me a lie. As we went through the family reunion and he and I visited, I asked about school and life, and I listened, and she's great with eye contact, very absolutely secure in who she is and herself. And I know that she

would have me say himself. I know that I can't. I can't do that, and I'm sure p knows that my views are well known during this time together, and I mentioned this part of the on the show the other day, about halfway through the family reunion, we'd played a game of corn hole together. By the way, P came to me and said, I got an idea, you and me and your daughter my dad in a game of cornhall on on. So we set up cornhole and we played P and

I against each other. And it doesn't matter who won. It doesn't I mean I won well, but yeah, obviously I won, but it doesn't matter who won. And I won by one shot, but I want you to know I hit some of those shots straight into the hole. Oh wait, maybe it doesn't matter. Maybe it does matter who won a little bit. Maybe look got a bit more practice than P at the cornhole. So after that we played together, we talked together some more. I mentioned my

daughter's an artist and Pa is going to be an architect. I was saying, wow, those things are very complimentary, but there's much more math, and she shared with me some of the problems shared with calculus. It was just this beautiful time. So food is finally served. My vegan daughter made an incredible vegan potato salad and it was awesome. And there's a bunch of you know, turkey and pork and stuff there and obviously I ate meat.

So as the food is being laid out and I had my first helping of turkey, I heard the craziest sound and I thought it was a murder of crows. And then I thought, wait, that sounds like screaming. And it wasn't screaming. It was screaming. It was a young woman screaming. It wasn't crows. Pe walked up the hill and then ran up the hill, and I realized something's going on, so I ran up the hill after Pete. Now I firmly believe this was God's design. I really believe it

was God's design. This young woman had been up in the mountains and she said she was seeking a place to sleep. I think she was seeking a place to die, because as we got there, she told me, I can't do it anymore. I can't live, I can't live. When I arrived, pet was on the ground with this girl who was in a bathrobe, laying in the wet street that is a dirt road by the way, her truck running in the background, this girl's truck. And Pete looked at

me now and she said, I need help. I said, yeah, I know, and thank you, thank you for doing this, and I sent her in a mission to go get my bug out bag, and I mentioned this Monday. It has my med kit and survival kit and has a reflective blanket that we used to try to warm her up. I think God selected this time for pe and I to work together to try to save a

girl. You really bond in times like this. And p went to my truck and got the wrong bag, and she came and she said, oh wait, I found this black bag and I think it's the wrong one. And I rummaged through your truck and I said, hey, but it's okay. Family rummages, it's okay. It's in the back of my truck the tailgate. Take the tailgate down and bring this bage bag and she did. So we ended up caring for this girl together. And then my sister came.

And my sister's a nurse practitioner and a rape crisis counselor. And I told you this on Monday, so I won't belabor this too much. We did end up getting the girl some help, albeit with the police and the mental health people coming. But it took two hours, but we got her some help. It was during this time that it became clear that the family

reunion was breaking up because the weather become untenable. Most people didn't come with coats or or rain gear, and it was being really uncomfortable and people were starting to leave. There were a lot of elderly people there, not good for them to be out in weather like that. So I went down knowing that it was breaking up, and I was getting some cookies and some simple sugars, sodas and stuff for this girl because her blood sugar was super low

and she was hyperglycemic. And so you know, my sister was helping me with that. Obviously I was taking orders from her, and so went down to get her some of these simple sugars, and there was Pee standing there with my daughter and my daughter's boyfriend, and a reason that, hey, you know what, I may not see Pea again for a little while. And God put in my heart. I'm he put in my heart to hug Pee. And I don't know that she and I have ever embraced like that.

I don't know that we've ever had a hug like that. And I'll tell you about it. It was maybe I got more out of it than she did, because I'm thinking of this through her point of view, and I don't know this to be the case, but I know a lot of people would have told her, well, your uncle's very hatefulled towards what they would say are transgender people. And of course I don't believe anyone is transgender. And then there's the challenge, right, I fully believe, fully believe

that piece discomfort with her biological sex is real. I fully believe that. I don't This isn't pretense, it's not rebellion. She's not glorifying anything. She's not. I truly believe it's real and painful. And she's an adult and she can go do adult things. So maybe I got more out of this than she did. I'll tell you this. We gather myself because it's un necessarily I want to break down on camera or in audio. I'm kind of bothers me on this topic. I just want to be careful as I'm

thinking through this. I will tell you that this weekend, I'm pretty much

committed to doing my now sixteen hours of straight workout. This is in preparation for a seal fit coming up in the end of September, and this is the one where I'm going to ask my friends to design the workouts, so that I mean, I'm gonna have to design some people are going to design sixteen hours of workouts for me, but I want to be doing things that other people want me to do. Secondly, I'm going to do as much of this during the sun light as I can because I learned in Mexico that

the heat is a huge, huge, huge energy suck. So I'm going to try to start this at six o'clock in the morning and then I would be finishing at four am. Is that right? Yeah? Is that right? No, I'd be finishing at midnight. Right, Never do math live on the show. Six and six is twelve, Yeah, midnight. So when I do that and being the sun as much as possible, which is good for me because I'm going to use Native Path hydrate. I experiment with

this gen from sales send it to me. They make Native Path They make the curl Native Path krill, which is incredible. Gosh, I love that stuff. It's just absolutely stopped me from having to take any iboprofen. Native Path hydrate I said, yeah, I'll try it. There's a whole bunch of hydration drinks. Is this one different? It is? First of all, it has zero sugars none, It's electrolyte packed. It has fantastic amino

acid support. The amino acids they combined combine this supports energy and muscle health. So fourteen vitamins and minerals nine all essential, nine amino acids, and two thousand milligrams of branch chain amino acids. And this is all in one scoop. Now, I would say this about the product. All of the flavors are fantastic that I've tried. I would also say this, they're very dense. So make sure you give this a good shake. And this is

what I do is I actually add ice to this. It actually helps shake it up the way to that. And when you drink this, you're getting the blends that you need for heart health, digestive support, and for promoting muscle recovery. Now, if you don't exercise, you might be saying, well, why you're telling us about this, Like I don't go out and sweat like you do. Did you know that about seventy five percent of Americans

are walking around right now chronically dehydrated. And the other end of the spectrum is a lot of people drink a whole bunch of coffee during the day and water, but no electrolyte replacement. Man, that can put you in trouble. Don't do that. So try Native Hydrate. Here's the reason to try it now for a limited time, get Native Hydrate for up to forty four percent off by simply visiting native hydrate dot com slash todd. Get the special

offer today up to forty four percent off. That's native hydrate dot com slash todd for hydration boosting power Native hydrate dot com slash todd, and don't forget about the up to forty four percent off. So we're going to get into the Southern Baptist Convention and that they've basically become Satan's basic church because they are misleading people, they are false teachers. It's so so frustrating. But I'm

going to wrap up this story with Pete. So my sister and I are heads down trying to get this girl's life saves and trying to keep them from kicking her out of the park because she shouldn't be driving, and the park steward wanted her drive out of the park, and we were saying, no, gosh, no, she's gonna crash into somebody or kill herself. Please don't make her do that. So we just said she's with us, and he let us get away with that, very kind man. So I went

back into the shelter. I saw that people were leaving, and I walked over and Pete was visiting with my daughter and her boyfriend. Great guy. Really liked this guy, really like him a lot, and so I walked up and say, hey, you got to meet each other, and my daughter's boyfriend said, yeah, I've met the rest of the family. It's so cool to see older male figures. And I loved hearing that, and then p came up to me. I said, I'm so sorry, I have to go help this girl, and so she walked up to me,

and God just just led me just to reach out to hug her. I really really wanted to embrace her, and so I gave her a hug and I told her something I didn't even intend to say but was absolutely genuine as I said, it is a blessing for me to see you happy and well and two years from being an architect. I am so incredibly proud of you. And at that point she really hugged me. It was a long hug, and I stepped back as I'm sorry I have to go, and she

had tears in her eyes. I'm guessing because I haven't talked to her, she knows unless she chooses to not know, which I think is an impossibility, that she knows my view on the topic of gender. But she's just Pee, She's just family. Here's the big poison of gender ideology is gender ideologists will tell Pee that if your older cousin does not agree that you become a man, he's disappearing you. I don't want pe to disappear. That he hates you, No, that he denies people like you exist. No,

And if he doesn't agree, he's literally killing you. No. There were a whole series of people at the family reunion doing things with which I disagree, and I'm sure there's things they disagree I do. There were people there who smoke, and the signs of a lifetime is smoking is all over their bodies. They know that I'm not surprising them to say you're suffering.

You made the decision to use tobacco your whole life. There was my sister freezing in the rain because she and I are out caring for this young girl, and my sister is shivering. My mom was scolded me, your sister's And I said, Mom, I've given her two coats, I'll give her another, and I'm going to go warm her up in my truck. So I said to my sister, Hey, you know what you may think, my great big V eight engine is a global warming producer. But let me

tell you it could warm you up. It really produces some heat your electric car can't. So let's go up the hill. And she sat in my truck, and I know my sister would resh i'd had a different vehicle. She sat in something with what she disagrees, and you can call her hypocrite all you like. We produced the heat. We sat next to this young girl to make sure that she didn't go out and try to harm herself.

My sister disagrees with that. So in the culture telling us and telling people like p if your uncle or I seem like an uncle because I was so much older, But if your cousin refuses to fly the so called translag or refuses to use pronouns, it's only out of hatred. We disagree with people all the time. There are people who live have interesting marriage arrangements. Let's

say that in our family very interesting and they're dear people. And I guarantee there's people there who look at Oh, that's the radical, that's the herman who is radical and embarrassment to the family. I know that that's the evangelical Christian, that's the Bible thump her. I know that, and it's okay

because we gri in other things. That connection. That connection is something you either choose to kill or not, because I can tell you Jesus went around embracing people, even people with whom we disagreed, unless unless they're abusing the temple, abusing the word of God, lying about the Word of God. I'm so so thankful that a guy that had this experience. Now see the other side of this spectrum is the false teaching. Now, I want to

tell you I want to have this conversation with Pete. I really want to talk with her about this, and I think I might reach out to say, Hey, when I'm in Seattle, could I come and sit with you and hear from you and hear your journey and ask questions and maybe explain my view. That would be the least important is explaining my view, because everyone knows what well I should say this. Everyone thinks they know what it is, so I may make that happen, because we've got to discuss these things.

There is a danger that the Fuller Theological Seminary, and I don't know why people are surprised by this. I've met a lot of Fuller graduates who are full on social justice warriors and full on false teachers. But the stream reports the stream dot org that there is a change coming at the Fuller Theological Institute or seminary, and I a California based locate or organization. I don't know why this is surprising people. It doesn't take a lot of thought power

to see where they head about it. I'll tell you about this in a second, and then we'll get into the Southern Baptist Convention and the thing that they're actually debating. It's amazing to me that this is a thing of debate. I guess I need to get down to the nitty gritty of what's in the Nicene Creed that can be so very very offensive to the Southern bapt This convention, where of course they had the audacious, horrible thing the other day.

I'm forcing people to say pronouns and yes, I can say that, and maintain my utter love for my younger cousin because we have to be able to mix these things. You have to have truth wrap to grace, take some thinking power to do that. Sometimes it really really does. If you are someone who is, say like me, a little bit obsessive about your body health, your brain is part of your body, right, what are

you doing to proactively care for your brain? And if you're a younger person watching and or listening to the show, you know it's not too late to be proactive about protecting your brain. Right. My chosen tool for this along with learning new things and new skills. And I'm going to start working on Spanish even when I'm not in Mexico, because I really enjoyed that feeling my brain work that way. In fact, it was nice to use my brain

playing guitar the other day. I hadn't played my guitar in probably six years. I just played CDG but at least it was nice to play. So I'm using mushroom breakthrough for brain health. And this is really well studied. Mushrooms at high concentrations have had medicinal value. The Native people knew this for many many years. It's been used in the Icelandic people have used this et cetera, so it's not new to use mushrooms, but in this formulation it

is my friend's. Matt Wade to run Bioptimizers studied mushrooms for brain health and they selected four mushrooms at the highest possible concentration. Two scoops of Mushroom Breakthrough is the equivalent of one point two pounds of those mushrooms, and it revitalizes your brain and protects it in areas of focus, memory recall, and processing speed. Matt and Wade scanned their brains before they took Mushroom Breakthrough. They're

scanned them after they took Mushroom Breakthrough, and the images don't lie. Those portions of their brain have gotten more vital. You can revitalize your mind, get your focus, your memory, recall back. Just have Mushroom break Through every morning. Here's how to get it. Go to biptimizers dot com slash Todd use promo code tod to get ten percent off all their products, including Mushroom Breakthrough. It's Biptimizers dot com slash Todd promo code Todd from stream dot

Org. Fuller Theological Seminary one of the world's most popular theological colleges is poised to become the first evangelical seminary in the US to permit same sex relationships on campus. Fuller says the document was created by Human Sexuality Task Force consisting of two deans and three faculty members solely quote for reflection and debate unquote in the midst of ongoing discussions. While the board could vote on it, there's no

specific timeframe which it's expected to do. So the stream maintain to copy the Rise community sexual standards for students and learners, which if passed, will allow students to marry their same sex partners. Quote. While the seminary embraces the historical Christian understanding of sexual intimacy and marriage, we acknowledge there are faithful and

thoughtful Christians and churches that have different interpretations. The draft notes, Therefore, we expect all members of this global evangelical and ecumenical seminary, student and learner community to live with integrity consistent to the Christian communities to which they belong. Okay, so the four Theological Seminary has decided to divide the Body of Christ. They've decided to recrucify Christ by dividing the fact that some Christian faiths have

departed from what the Lord Jesus taught about marriage. That is that a man leaves his parents and clings to his wife. He didn't say partner, he didn't say significant other. He said man and wife. The Lord did not come to a race the New Testament or the Old Testament. He came to fulfill the law in the Old Testament. These things are non controversial until now.

The apostle Paul may have been the one who wrote most about marriage and sexuality, and it is because, of course, he had been dispatched from having been someone who wanted to preach and did preach in the Jewish temples. He'd been sent instead to preach in Rome and among the non Jewish populations. And in those non Jewish populations, homosexual behavior was well, not rare.

It was happening all over the place. So Paul, being that disciple, had to go deal with that reality, so he was more prone to need to teach this. The consequence of that is that Paul more about this than the other apostles. The other apostles never departed from this. There is not an instance in which a disciple of the Lord Jesus said, yeah, actually, same sex marriage is okay. It never happened, or this form of

m okay or adulter is okay because it never became okay. Now again, I can say this knowing that I have another family member who same sex attracted. I have the same exact love for that family member that I do pee, and I know that family member better, and this is something that's deeply, deeply important to him, and it's deeply important to me to be the family member who stands by this. And if that young man were to say to me, do you think that I'm going to Hell because of this?

I would have to say I don't know, but I would tell you this. I want you to get to know Jesus, and you'll know. You get to know Jesus. You allow the Holy Spirit to reign within you. You allow the Holy Spirit to endwell in you. The Spirit's going to convict you of sin. What does the Bible say it sin? Yes? It does. Am I the judge of who gets into Heaven and Hell? I'm not. My worry is that right now you are divorcing yourself from God. That is my worry for you. Right and better to get more and more

like God, then further and further from God. And this is why I'm calling this episode Satan's Basic Church, because as the Southern Baptist Convention is going, they're following and nearing and nearing culture. This is an image of a Pride Day event. And please don't make any mistake. This stuff is on purpose. They're showing you exactly who they are. They could say they're mocking

evangelical Christians and they're just funny. Satan, don't fun. On top is an image of the rainbow flag people marching, and it says Satan loves and then if you extend the flag it would say everyone or gay people. Down Below is a T shirt a guy's wearing. It's an image of the Satanic goat with this Satanic star on its forehead and it has rainbow horns. It says not today Jesus. When people show you who they are, believe them.

None of my same sex attracted friends or family members would ever sponsor this, or frankly that I don't know. I don't believe any of my family members would sponsor. I pray to God that they wouldn't sponsor the Satan thing. But the Southern Baptist Church is getting closer and closer and closer to that. You can become so inclusive that you become exclusive only of God's word.

When you're that inclusive of the world and you are changed by the world, you're changed by the things of this world, you are guaranteed to move yourself further and further from God. For instance, this comes from Twitter. It's a picture of a Pride event in Boston. Took the family downtown to walk

actually emerge into Boston Pride. Both the penis and the ice cream are overpriced, so his young son, it looks like his son, he's blanked his face out, is carrying a an erect penis that's about half the size of his body. Kids are not sexual beings. How do we know this because the repulse that the idea of sexuality when you talk about it to them at that age. Because their bodies are not ready for this. Their minds are certainly not. If their bodies are not, and if their bodies are,

their minds are not. The Southern Baptist Convention is getting closer and closer and closer to embracing this because they're becoming more and more and more clownishly, clownishly inclusive of everything of the world. We're called to be in it, not of it. If you're becoming of the world, you are doing everything you can to depart what Jesus said, do not be changed or altered by the things of this world. The nice see in Creed is being debated by the

Southern Baptist Church. Here's for those who don't know what it says. It's been a while since I have repeated this, because we used to do this in the Lutheran Church. We don't do this in the Evangelical Church. But I don't know that. I'm unfamiliar with any evangelicals denying the nice in Creed or the importance of it. I believe in one God, the Father Almighty,

Maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible. I believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Gotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages, God from God, Light from Light, true God, from true God, begotten, not made co substantial with the Father. Through him all things were made for us men, and for us men, and for our salvation. He came down from Heaven and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary and became man for our sake.

He was crucified under conscious pilot. He suffered death and was buried, rose again on the third day, in accordance with the scriptures, send it into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son, is adored and glorified, who has spoken

through the prophets. I believe in one holy Catholic and Apostolic Church. I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. I look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Incertainly, Catholic is lawer case. There is not necessarily meaning the Catholic Church one church for the forgiveness of sins. The fuller Theological Seminary wants to divide the body of Christ again by saying, wherever you come from, come and practice your quote

Christian tradition. You're no longer a theological seminary. You're becoming of the world. You open the door to dividing the body of Christ, and you're next, you're going to have adultery. Why would you not? On the theological companies have thropples and people who engage adultery are open relationships. Why exactly what would be the reason? Why not? I'll tell you because not enough false teachers are teaching that. That's why the nice seeing creed is an encapsulation of

what we believe in the Christian faith. It's a neat and tidy encapsulation of it. Is it all the detail? It's not, But it's a quick way to tell people here's what we believe. We have to have quick ways to do this because the world is so corrupt. Here's a quick way to look at how corupt the world is. What exactly is the unemployment rate in America? What is it? No? You could go look it up right

now and the number is not going to tell you the truth. Why Because once you've been unemployed for six months or I think it's is it six months or a year, you're no longer unemployed. Do you know that you're no longer employed if you get fired or your company you know this continuing you had a good, high paying salary job at let's say one hundred grand a year, and you get fired and you're looking for something, so you take side jobs. If you have three side jobs earning maybe seventy grand a year,

you have three more jobs. You have two more jobs than you did before. You've increased your employment. That's how the numbers work. Our financial system is built on these illusions. But there's something you can no longer ignore, and that is the role of inflation in this world. It is the silent killer of retirement portfolios. This is the second time in two weeks that Zach Abraham has felt called to do a free live webinar about inflation and how it

kills retirement portfolios. I've never seen Zach do two workshops back to back like this before, because the last one was just utterly sold out. Zach's going to answer questions, so'll talk about how Bulwark uses active management of portfolios to manage through the risk of this high high inflation. I don't know how anything other than active management and risk management gets you through this. You could attend this, but you have to register. It's free, but you have to

We have no need for a creed. We have the Bible. How can you improve on that? Any? Quotes Adrian Rodgers of having said that. Okay, So with due respect to doctor James Merritt, I agree you can't improve on the Bible. So why say the ten command? Why when we

take communion? Why speak of the elements? I mean, We've we've got the Bible. Why focus down on a verse in a sermon? I mean we've got the Bible. And with all due respect to doctor Merritt, because people are going to ask us, what do Christians believe? I think the reason they don't want this at the Southern Baptist Convention is because the Nicene Creed states what Christians believe that there are people who are asking that it be debated

and confirmed. T Andrews. Brown wants it confirmed. Good morning, mister President of My name is Andy Brown and I'm a messenger of First Baptist Church of Starbold, Mississippi. I move that the messengers of this annual meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention affirmed the Nicean Creed. The creed states, we believe in one God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of

all things visible and business. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all ages, God from God, the Light from Light, true God, from true God, Begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father. By Him all things were made for us and for our salvation. He descended from heaven and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the Virgin Mary, and was made man. He was crucified for us under conscious pilot. He suffered death

and was buried. On the third day, he rose again in accordance with the scriptures, and ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of the Father. He shall come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom shall have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, and who with the Father and the Son together is worship and

glorified. He spoke through the prophets, and in one Holy, Universal and Apostolic Church, we acknowledge, one Baptist the remission of sins, and we look forward to the resurrection of the dead in the life of the world. To common comment, second, thank you please, and give a comedy of your emotion to the pain. So it's an encapsulation to what the Christian faith

contains. And I think this is why it's controversy at the Southern Baptist Convention, because when you can neatly explain what Christians believe, it's harder and harder

and harder for false teachers. Yeah, I'm a little careful, a little skittish about too much ecumenism, and I think the nicee in creed, while generally is a very good creed and has certainly been accepted by many traditions, there are still a couple of issues of wording in that Creed that could be interpreted to foment or to produce doctrines or concepts of doctrines that we as Baptists would reject. What exactly is objectionable to a spot on encapsulation of what Christians

believe. We'll spend some time in that this week. The Southern Baptist Convention pretending that God did not create male and female, pretending that God did not intend for marriatuld be between a man and a woman, is now pretending that it's controversial to encapsulate what we as Christians believe. I don't stand with that there is an awakening happening, and I want to make sure that this awakening

comes with truth wrapped in grace. Someone posted something on LinkedIn a post about inclusiveness of pronouns, and again, I can say these things and have love for my cousin p It is not impossible. In fact, we disagree with people all the time about the way they live. Let's not make this case where we can't have a relationship because I won't use a pronoun with which I disagree. And let us be absolutely absolutely desirous of the Holy spirit running our

relationship with people who have those views. Let God handle this, Let God work to us in those circumstances. This person wrote, as an ally, I choose to create safe and brave spaces. I think it's safe to say it did not go the way she thought it would. She wrote, why don't use my pronouns and probably you might too, pronouns for something I learned in school, understood the relevance of it in a non binary context much later.

Including my pronoun and as part of my name brings together my whole self. It is being an ally by creating a safe space for others to bring together their whole selves. As an ally, I choose to create a safe and brave space for more people to feel comfortable sharing their stories of pride. Happy Pride Month I help. Pride is a positive and continuing protest for the

need to be all things equal. Share below how you were celebrating pride and read the article if you think as communicators we should be more inclusive in the languine use, I will note again one emotion among many that God deplores in

human beings is pride. Human pride. He deplores it. As a gay man These are some of the responses to this LinkedIn post, and by the way, the woman who posts it is named well Mamuta Mamuta das ROI okay, interesting man James Roberts replies, as a gay man, when I hear someone announce their pronouns, it makes me shutter because it indicates they believe in an ideology that says a child can be born in the wrong body. Sharing pronouns says this is how you must think of me, even when I'm not

around. I get that you want to be a good quote sis ally, but there are many gay man, lesbians, and even trans identifying people who had rather you didn't go along with the pronouns stating virtue signaling a leaf of Shakers rights. This is a sincere but misguided sentiment. The ritual of signaling pronouns professes a belief that we hold a gendered soul and compels a to participate in that ritual. You might as well list your star sign pronouns is a

signature in the signature is always a concern. It's unclear if you're dealing with a frightened sheep, a bubble headed rainbow tag along, or a gender zelot. Pronouns in the biosignal that you believe in regressive sexual sexist stereotypes and that people can be born in the wrong body. Pronouns in the biosignal signal that you support the inclusion of men who identifies women in a female prisons, estate

refuges, and women in sporting events. Pronouns in the bio indicate a support for the medicalization and sterilization of same sex attracted neurodiversion, or abused simply confused kids. I've grown very disenchanted with the slopism of female bourgeois nine binaries of the world. By all means defy sexis tropes. But when you deny sex itself, you betray the most vulnerable women amongst us and the protection that must be afforded to them on the basis of sex. And one more from Mary

Taylor. I appreciate your intent was to be inclusive. It might help to understand just how offensive the pronoun issue is to many of us. It was started by transactivism, and many of us are simply done with transactivism, with the language that evolve from it and the harm we see it as caused to women's rights. To the ratire of gain lesbian identities, to the irreversible damage done through the continued push to medicalize vulnerable LGB autistic or troubled youth suffering from

genderness. For you, these aren't little harms. I see them as crimes against humanity. The backlash it will inevitably be severe as the world wakes up. So many of us are hitting back against woke ideology, and we're hitting hard. There is, of course, in this the embedded belief that being same sex attracted is different. Well, it is because you don't end up chemically and surgically altering your body. And it is also, in my judgment,

a confusion. It has been embraced and pushed, affirmed and made preferable to being same sex attracted. And I can love anybody who is same sex attracted because I disagree all the time with people, even on things they find very very important. Let us not give in to Satan's huge desire that we forget. Lord Jesus said the most important commandments, love the Lord, your God with your entire heart, soul, and mind. And the second is

like it, love your neighbor as yourselves. On these two commands, all the other commandments and the law hangs. Let us not forget that. Lord, Thank you for the opportunity to embrace a family member, to feel true, complete, unconfused joy at the progress of peace life, the intellect you gave Pee, the loving nature, the willingness to rescue another. Thank you for letting me to experience that in a beloved family member. This is the Todd Hermann Shaw. Please go, be well, be strong, be kind,

and please make every effort to love. Bye neighbor.
