When there are gaps in life and gaps in relationships, Satan will try and step into those gaps. He is looking for vacuums. I have this theory that there are all kinds of gaps that are leading people into things like taking up causes that they know nothing about. They don’t have a cause, so Satan comes along and hands them a cause. This is exhibited in a group of young people in Portland who burned police cars as a preemptive attack to help Palestine. There are clearly gaps in the life of Pastor John Miller. His wife, Micca, apparently died by suicide, but the strange happenings in the wake of her death leading many to question what really happened. I allowed a gap to appear in my daughter’s life. I did not respond when she began to develop challenges with her body and a subsequent eating disorder. Thank the Lord for what he has done in her life. There are gaps in the lives of children and parents and it is being filled by satanic messages, like the lie of “transgenderism”.

So there's a theory I call gap theory. I mean it's not maybe my theory. There's the God of the gaps theory, black box theory. The gap theory is this that Satan operates in the gaps in our lives, and that where there exists gaps, he's going to come in. This is particularly true in relationships. It's particularly true in well human endeavors with one another,

parents, kids, wives, husbands, friends. It's also true in terms of meaning that when people seek meaning outside of relationship with God, outside to what's being communicated to them by God, what we know were created for, then those gaps present this opportunity for Satan to get in the middle of this. And I think this is happening to a great degree with young people across

the spectrum, but it's not just young people. I have a burden on my heart to talk to young people because of the series of mistakes I've made. Every time I've gone against God direction, it's been a bad idea. Every time I've ignored his voice, it's ended in catastrophe. And I hope that you can learn from that. Go have your own catastrophes, make up your own. So I want to put some I guess detail to this and look at the ways in which this is true across many spectrums of human behavior,

beginning oddly enough, in Portland, Oregon. You know, there's a lot of gaps in Portland, and a lot of people have been handed meaning

in Portland in a way that I think Satan's playing in. decided to go out and launch a premptive strike against against inanimate objects. See the police in Portland were fixing to head over to Israel and kill themselves some Palestinians. They were going to pack their cars up on barges, send them over and come out with their Portland port and Police Department badges and they're nine

millimeters and go kill themselves some Hamas. This is a great example of a gap, and Satan will jump into these gaps, gaps of meaning, and young people who have been divorced from the Word of God do not have the opportunity to understand the meaning that God gives us all, which is one, to become holy in him, to be sanctified by him. In that process, to become more like him. We can't be him, we can't become gods, but become become more like Him. And in that there's just cascades

of meaning. For instance, feed the sheep, take care of the least of these, build Christian relationships, spread the word, disciple make Those are huge, huge missions. There's no greater bigger mission than helping people achieve eternity with God. Find one for me. There's the mission of being fruitful, of multiplying. If you are gifted to be married, some people are not

gifted to be married. Some people have to find a way to feel gifted in single theom and I got to imagine that that's horribly, horribly difficult. Just think it would be. But when meaning presents itself on a let's say, website, super easy. Here's your meaning. You can fight right now for people you I've never met, in a cause you do not understand, and you don't even need to take time to understand it. You can simply rely upon Hollywood and the people on the left to tell you how you should

feel. You could rely on your professors. They lack meaning as well, So they've attached a meaning to bringing young people into fights like these, fights that are not yours. If you could have your emotions assigned against another group of human beings by a first group of human beings and you are in a week week setting, if you were really operating with meaning and there were not these gaps, people could look at this and say, wait a minute,

what does this mean to me? What does it mean to God? How does God view a conflict like this? Well, you could be biblically strict and say God's on the side of Israel because there's the Covenant, But you can also look at this and say, any Yeah, Jesus took the word outside of Jewish culture. He took it across the world. So God sees us as his creation and wants us to rejoin his family. That's a huge

meaning. Now, if you've been assigned the meaning of burning down police cars, how exactly do you get actual happiness, satisfaction, peace, joy, charity, temperance and self control In that you don't you get a high? This is how Satan does so much of this, replacing a high with satisfaction a brother, replacing satisfaction with a high, replacing joy, which is a state of well being outside of circumstances, with happiness, which is a state

of being regarding or responding to stimuli. I'm happy because versus I'm joyful despite. That's one of the ways he plays. There's a comparison I often use in these cases because I think it is one of the most profound and sad comparisons I can think of, and that is this thing that happened on the reservation and reservation call true. This is detailed in Ian Fraser's book on the res There was a beautiful, beautiful word in Sioux culture, and that word

was perverted and it took on these different meanings. And I'll explain that in just a second. Your environment can become perverted and you don't know it right. For instance, I've talked about coming home and realizing, oh, that's right, we have cats. Like when I'm walking in the door, Oh that's right, I smell cats. Happened when I came home from Mexico. When I came home from another trip recently, Yeah, there's cats in here.

So your environment can become perverted. You can head into your lake cabin. For instance, you're going to open up. You know it's going to be musty for the first couple of days. You know this. You know you're going to use your RV for the first time this winter, over this summer, and it's going to be musty. You know all of these things. But now there's something you can do. of the most remarkably sad and potent stories. I know. It was a type of happiness and it meant that you were seeing your daughter born for the first time, you're holding her in your arms. It described that feeling or being reunited with the loved one you'd not seen in a long time, or proposing marriage. She said, yes, it's that sort of happiness, and it was a very specific word. I can't speak, Sue. I've tried,

and it's just a joke show when I try it. The kids and the res thought they were reclaiming their marriage, I mean, probably their relationship with it with the past, and they started to use that word and they used it wrong. It meant getting high. Of course, the elders heard this and they were heartbroken. They lacked the ability to see the meaning in that word. They lacked the ability then to have the feeling because they couldn't

describe it, they couldn't share it with one another. It was tragic and potent. The young people in Portland, I think, lack the ability to have a feeling of belonging, so they have manufactured it. That's a gap. Satan plays in that gap, and he's playing to turn them into violent little creeps. Sometimes there's gaps where you would never ever expect it. And it's not just young people. This weekend there is a memorial service for one of our pastors with one of our church plants, well not ours. I

wasn't there. I'm not in the leadership of the church. I'm just a member. But the Lord has done amazing things through real life ministries. And a pastor apparently took his own life. At some point there was a gap. We don't know what that gap was, and at this point there's still some of us who are befuddled thinking did he actually commit suicide? Gaps can appear in the lives of anybody if you think of it this way, and

this is a metaphor for gaps. If you think of caring for a lawn and the lawn is being attacked by weeds, there's two ways to go at this. One is you attack the weeds. The other is you feed the grass. If you talk to a landscape or they'll often tell you you're better off feeding the grass, nurturing their grass, fertilizing the grass, growing it into health, and it can of itself then take care of the weeds. Other people simply fight the weeds. So the gaps come when there's lack of

fertilization, and those gaps sometimes meet opportunity. People can have lives that appear to be full and complete, like these kids in Portland, like these kids on the college campuses, like kids who are out protesting for so called trans writes, like kids who are mutilting their bodies, and they've got tons of meaning but no connection. And so that these gaps. There's a gap that apparently appeared in the relationship between a pastor and his wife. Pastor John Paul

Miller Dude went through an entire sermon. He's a pretty young pastor, and it was only at the end of the sermon that he started to say something about his wife. There had to be gaps, gaps in caring, gaps in listening, gaps in time, gaps in nurturing, gaps in being charitable, gaps in not being boastful, not being proud, perhaps mental health gaps in this man, because it's becoming clear that his wife was concerned for what

would become of her. This is the pastor. Remember this is at the end of a sermon where he decided to say this, we're not going to alter call today instead of Instead, I'm going to have you stand up and I'm going to make an announcement, and after the announcement, I'm going to ask that you believe church quietly and don't talk about the announcement. When a pastor says something like this and then says, don't have fellowship over it,

he's creating a gap. Take what I say, walk out, do not have fellowship, do not explore it, do not pray over it, don't pray over me. Well, I guess he does ask to be prayed for, but he's asked. He's created this gap that is not a godly, godly undertaking. Don't create gaps. Yes, talk about it. Some of the gaps that come up in people's lives that can lead to suicide like it

did apparently with this pastor apparently, or the gaps. If there's a thing I can't say, I can't confess this, I can't ask for prayers over it because I can't talk about it because people will hate me or people will doubt me. And this is particularly true with pastors. I can't be doubted. I have to lead the sheep. You could be doubted as a human being. It doesn't mean God's word is doubted. It means that you're right now, walk might be doubted. We'll shut up because you got to see

this. As he continues hearing the building, pleasey if you can't see, y'all can stand to your feet. Before I make announcement. I also want to say that my request to you is that you will continue to come to church and serve and give for the next you know a little bit, because I don't want to have I'm taking a little bit of a break and I don't want to have to worry about the church. My break. Maybe a few days, a few weeks, I don't know. I got a call

late last night my wife has passed away. Yeah, and it was it was self induced, and it was up in North Carolina. And we're gonna have a funeral for her next Sunday here at three pm. And so it's all I can. Yeah, I'm just kind of going on adrenaline, right now, so y'all pray for me and my kids and everybody. And she wasn't you'll knew that she wasn't well mentally, and then she needed medicine that was hard to get to her. And so I'm sure there'll be more details

to come, but just keep our family in your prayers. And I'm gonna let Pastor Randall a bishop, he can pray. I get a microphone, I'll pray out and if you have anything you want to share as well, I appreciate it. The preface to not discuss this, to leave silently and to not discuss it is deeply, deeply bothersome to me because it's offering up a gap. I don't know what happened, and I don't know that anybody does. But Nianas followed a bit of this and says that the discussion online

is there's a lot of people doubting this pastor stories. That's to correct a lot of people doubting this pastor's story. And here's one of the reasons why they're doubting this pastor's story. Okay, let me make sure I got the exact location where you're at. Okay, just one minute. There are people doubting this story, and they're doubting it because she had said many many times, if something happens to me, it's not me. And yet there's the phone call, the gaps, some of the gaps are in meaning Satan will

crawl into that. Some of the gaps are in our response. When somebody is sharing with you hurt and they're sharing with you fear. If they're in the body of Christ, it's our responsibility to hurt with them, because when one member of the body hurts, another member is two hurts. If they're

human, it's our responsibility to jump into that gap. And if this is a consistent theme and this person isn't able to change this theme and they're not able to move away from the circumstance, sometimes it's our job to step in and help them move away from the circumstance. With the increase in teen suicides and suicide attempts, there's clearly this gap, and sometimes with teens it's the gap of not truly being able to share or this and this is much more

modern. There's a new gap in teen lives with the increase in suicides and psychotropic drugs. And this is the one that deeply, deeply concerns me. It's a gap in horror, it's a gap in being shocked because of the way that we have pathologized children. There is a gap that's being filled with words like depression and anxiety, and add well, these are not satanic. Sometimes people have these conditions, but Satan is playing in a gap where we

are unable to be shocked. And so I'll tell you what I mean by this. As we talk about this gap theory, the gap in the ability to be shocked. Anybody who heard this lady say, hey, if I am killed, it's not me. If I show up dead, I didn't do it and didn't jump into action, has been maybe desensitized to the need for action. This is particularly true among young people. The pathologizing of young people taking something, for instance, of a going through sadness, going through

depression, struggling with attention issues to is to place meaning on it. You are depressed, you are anxious, you have an eating disorder. You're not going through one, you have one. And as kids are pathologized, of course lurking in the background, as are dear dear friends at Farmer, ready to jump in and cure them. But it assigns meaning. And I can't tell you how bizarre the nature of this is, but it is true. If you go into any treatment facility with young people, they have contests about

who has the most comorbid conditions. Who has the seriousness or the most serious condition. This is the true fact in eating disorder clinics. The people who get tubed are heroic. If you want to be the top echelon of sick, you get yourself tubed. You refuse to eat That way, you show you are rock solid in terms of your eating disorder. This makes it impossible for teens to be shocked. Oh my gosh, my friend said she's gonna kill herself. Oh you two who isn't killing their self? In fact,

I think the schedule for killing selves is full this weekend. Could you move it back? It's like showing up at prom with the same dress. We can't have that. The gap is the emotional response that another human being is considering this, and Satan has jumped into the gap where we would say to somebody, you're experiencing troubles. Jesus warned us, do not be surprised when fear, when you experience trouble in this land, in this life, do

not be experienced. Do not be surprised by that, because it's going to happen. It doesn't mean I'm not walking with you. And understand this. Jesus faced trials too, clearly some of the worst trials that anyone could ever face. When we don't have that language, that's a massive gap. When kids don't have that, it's a massive gap. So Satan jumps in and instead of it being trouble something you're going through, it's a condition. This

defines you. It's just like same sex attraction. It's not something you feel, it's something you are that assigns you meaning, It assigns you identity. That's a massive, massive gap. We weren't designed for that to be our meaning. Our meaning was designed to be people who tend the garden on behalf of God, stewards of creation. We were given dominion over the plants and the animals, and that dominion extends because it's power delegated to us by the

King, by God himself. That's huge meaning that's stolen from you. You get sub meanings, and young people end up saying, how is it that I could have meaning? And there's people who do things like I do. Sometimes people take on meanings saying, well, look, all I do is I'm a jock. All I do is I'm a music guy. All I do is I'm a YouTuber. Praise God, I don't my meaning into I do a little CrossFit here and there. Young people do not just with CrossFit,

but with other areas of gaps. I allowed a massive gap in my daughter's life. Huge mistake when my daughter began to tell me that she would not be happy until she weighed a very specific weight. I'll never forget the conversation. I can picture it to this moment. I can even remember the spell of the room because we didn't have the oxy leaf too. I can remember my daughter saying, Dad, I won't be happy until I weigh eighty pounds. Stupidly, I said, honey, you know you're never going to

weigh eighty pounds again, stupid idiot. I opened a massive gap instead of stepping into the gap and saying, wow, that's an interesting number. Tell me about that. Why eighty? Why not eighty four? And this is this you believe? Make your happy? Can you and I do something together? Could we pull up on God's word and see what he says about happiness and satisfaction? In fact, let's go look at what God says about love, because it doesn't sound like you're loving yourself. Can we find that in

the Bible together? That was a massive gap. So I relied on my own intelligence, just telling her bluntly, well that's never gonna happen. And you're beautiful now, and you're great now, and you're perfect now, and plus you're athletic. I mean, you've got more muscle mass than other girls because you're a speed skin What an idiot, an absolute buffoon. Hey, you've got more muscle mass. Girl confroned about your gross weight gap. I

had a gap in my head. Relying on my own wisdom. I made my daughter more sad rather than trying to you know, I was trying to help massive, massive gap. Yeah, I've taken that to the cross. It was not empathy, it was convincing. It was trying to take my will and substitute it for her lack of will. How could she have will as a kid at that level? And of course there are media entities ready to jump into this and provide meeting. This is simply a news report from

PBS. But look at the way the news report is cast. If you're watching the video service, look at the little text over behind the kind anchor lady's head. A federal appeals court issued to groundbreaking ruling last night ensuring that gender affirming surgery is covered by state run health insurance programs. Stephanie Saie has that report. It says behind her trans in America, fake meaning of a fake condition, describing fake care, and a whole bunch of people behind this

and this is now their meaning. I defend so called trans people OMNA. This decision centered around two lawsuits with trans people in West Virginia and North Carolina suing to secure insurance coverage for gender or firming care such as hormone therapy, and the Federal Appellate Court in Richmond, split eight to six, ordered that the state healthcare plans quote reinstate coverage for medically necessary services for the treatment of

gender dysphoria. The American Medical Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics wrote briefs in support of the trans plaintiffs. It is a win for the trans community, but it may not be the final word on the issue. For more on all of this, I'm joined by NPR Selena Simmons Duffin, who covers health policy for NPR. Selena, it's good to see you on that. I bet she's going to come in and say, here's what the opponents say, this is what the people who created the bill to stop these things.

Here's what they say. I bet she's going to provide that point of view. Use our So as you know, there are numerous court cases around the country about transgender rights and access to gender affirm and care. How significant was this ruling and what are the big takeaways to you? How significant is the ruling? The discussion is cast to say how big a victory is this for these people who have their meaning in this. Satan jumps into the gap.

The media jumps with Satan. Here's the meaning of this. You are trans. You're not a kid, you're not going through pain, you're not questioning your gender. You are trans. Congratulations, there's your meaning. That gap is filled. What does this mean, Well, it means a great victory for justice. Boom, your meaning? Your gap is filled. Hey, I've burned a bunch of police cars in Portland. It was a preemptive strike because they were getting ready to kill Palestinians. Boom, You've got your meaning,

But you have those satisfaction you have nothing that can last. You have no joy, you have dopamine hits, or in this case, you have a false sense of self. These gaps multiply sometimes in those interpersonal relationships, the inability to be shocked what. I have a friend who says they're going to try to kill themselves because it's become passe, it's become something people here every day. There's a book called The Alpha Female's Guide to Men and Marriage.

Joy Pullman is the executive editor of The Federalists. You described herself as a happy wife and the mother of six children, and by the way, also an executive editor. So she's clearly not a woman who says that women shouldn't work. She is working. But she gives this book to her friends, her female friends in particular, And I want you to hear why, because it contains meaning, as she sees it, meaning important for others. The conversation with my wife and mother, well she's not my mother, but

she's my daughter's mother. Obviously my wife. She started to use my native path krill, and this thrills me, absolutely thrills me. She's also recommending it to her mom. We have a lot of relatives in our lives who are smacking down ibiprofen. Ask around. In fact, you know what, this just occurred to me. I was at a track meet a couple weeks ago. And it was talking to some young guys. I know some of these young men and were just now just I seem as men because I matured

to such a level. And I overheard a conversation between two teen athletes I'm guessing they were seniors and what is the sertuskips? Could doude you got any ivy? They god? Oh, no, a drug deal. I don't want to hear this. And it was iberprofen. Hey hold on, And I asked one of the kids. I know, one of the young men. I said, Hey, how much hyberprofen did people take? He goes, Oh, people take iboprophone all the time. Everybody's got some. Sounds

like a van handshung. Everybody's got some or everybody wants some. Yeah, I want some too, David the Roth. So these kids seventeen and eighteen are snacking on iberprofen. I don't know about you. I never took that stuff on us. I had a fever, although recently in the past few years have been eating four iberprofen every single night almost not that's not quite true, but often maybe three four days a week when I worked out hard because

I was so sore. Then I learned that iyberprofen actually causes inflammation. It masks the symptoms and it causes more inflammation. That's a neat tre Farmers really good at what they do. It destroys your gut lining. When that happens, there are things that should they get into your body, particulates that shouldn't be there, and that causes inflammation. They haven't been told that daycare is just about the worst childcare environment possible because it's chaotic and overstimulating, prompting promoting, prompting chronic corticol stress surges that can tend small children towards anxious, moody and being sick

for the rest of their lives. When Mama needs a break in few hours at home with a babysitter, even better if it's a dad or another family member, are far better. Now there are people who have to do daycare. I know this. a baby shower gift. Right. The meaning of parents is, yes, prioritize your marriage because it is the environment in which your kids swim. It is their oxygen, it is their emotional oxygen. It is what God tells us to prioritize first. And then the meaning of parents is sometimes to sacrifice. And it's that meaning, it's that mission, it's that gap that if you don't fill, other people will fill. And in this environment, it's not just PBS, it's not just Netflix that's gonna feel this. There are

people who are targeting kids whose parents are not making the sacrifice. I'm not talking about groomers and pedophiles, although they too. I am talking about people who have gaps in their lives, like this counselor at Lakes Middle School in Curling, Idaho, who apparently goes around trans and kids. That's her meaning.

There was some gap in her life. She sees a girl who's deeply depressed, who has probably a whole host of mental issues, that girl herself having been adopted, which for many many people is deeply painful if it's not dealt with properly. She sees that and jumps in and says, hey, I'm going to give you meaning. You're a boy. I'm going to jump into that gap. Satan's behind all of this. Hey, look, you're a boy. That's why you're sad. Forget your depression and your anxiety.

Forget the fact that you are now going through puberty, which whacks everybody out. Forget all that you're a boy. There's your meaning. Now fight for that. Then get into this fight with your mom. Your meaning is to fight with your mom. Those people lurk and wait for parents who leave gaps in kids' lives to jump in, just like Johnny Pervert waits at the mall to see, Hey, which kids don't have friends, which girl doesn't feel good about the way she looks. This is the way pimps operates. Who's

the teen girl who doesn't like the way she looks? I'll go cozy up to her. I think you're beautiful. I don't know if people can't see this by the way, you're wise beyond your years. It's the oldest game in pimptum, and now medical professionals and counselors are playing this because there's been a gap left in their lives, so they pathologize. It's all the things

we're talking about. Kids hurt, young people hurt because of gaps. I beg you to jump into the gaps in people's lives, your kids first and foremost, your marriage first and foremost. Where there's gaps in your marriage, time together, respect for one another, you've probably changed. I'm gonna guess if you got married at the age of twenty one and you're forty, I'm gonna bet you've changed. Have you guys checked in with each other to see,

Hey, how have we changed? How are we different people? How do we need to be nurtured in ways that we didn't need to be nurtured before. What are the things that interest us that didn't before. What are needs that we have that we didn't have before? Have you checked in on that or are you letting a gap run that stuff? Because if gaps run at good luck, you're gonna end up with a sick marriage. And yeah, there are people looking out there who want to jump into those gaps too,

grooming like you bet there are. There's a massive, massive gap in meaning and this affects young people globally, and just as I just described with this family circumstance and these not I don't think they're well meaning. I'm sure this lady thinks she's an angel of light. I don't think she is. I think she's operating on behalf of the fake angel of light and she doesn't know that. Globally there's a mass lack of meaning and there are organizations who

jump into this. One of the greatest indicators of lack of meaning in history was mask copying, when you saw people suddenly turn in mask cops. Up to and including there's a case in Seattle at a hardware store where a hardware store employee beat a guy with a pipe because with a big metal pipe because dude wasn't wearing a mask. He beat him. He's I'm not saying minimum wage is bad. Everybody starts somewhere, but a minimum wage employee says,

you're not coming into this hardware store. I'm gonna beat you with a pipe. You're not wearing a mask. It was a massive assignation of meaning. There's a priest who reminds us. There's a priest reminds us about how meaning can be taken from us under Angel of light metaphors. I want to share that with you in a second. No, no, no, no, you're trans boom stops there. As you age and you mature, what does that meaning do? It rots?

In so many people? It rots because as they inexorably face God's maturation process. They look back and say, wait a minute, this was never me. That's right, because it was never your meaning. It's in these gaps at Satan place. And I beg anybody listening to this to make sure that you leap both feet into the gaps first of all, at home with your marriage, with your kids. Leap into this with other people's kids, because get this, they're going to be the people with whom your kids interact.

And with young people raising kids. I get it. Sometimes daycare is necessary. But as we're hearing now in the chat room, Dee Craigs, I would ask anyone considering having kids, why have them if you're not willing to raise them. My wife and I made the decision for her to quit her job to follow God's plan for our family. Richly blessed us. John Caldwell is same with wife left work force to focus on the family. are people who do that. There are also people who, sometimes to circumstances that arise after marriage, are going to have to drop kids into daycare. Let's not let's not jump into that. It's a gap. There are young people right now in

your town and in your church, and there's massive gaps. Their parents don't have time for them, they don't have concern about them. They're not going to show up for their sporting events because they're busy, they're not emotionally available. I'm not saying they're bad people. I'm saying these are circumstances. If you want to save America, jump into the gaps. Saving America is a consolation prize. I think if you do this on a Christian basis, you

can also let God work through you to save souls. And that's our ultimate meaning. Don't let the gaps become eternal, because the worst gap ever is an eternal gap between you and God or your children.
