Jon talks to civil servant of 30+ years, Paul Downer. In 2019 Paul left the MoJ after 35 years and took up the post of a Digital Delivery Advisor at the Government Digital Service (GDS). In June 2019 Paul founded the first Social Mobility Network at GDS , forming links with the Social Mobility Commission & the Social Mobility Foundation to promote the SM agenda.

Paul speaks regularly on the issues of Race and Class individually , as well as teaming up with civil service colleague , Rob Neil OBE , as part their 'Unfinished Business' series.
