Pastor Raul Ries (Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Golden Springs) checks in from California today. His radio program "Somebody Loves You" (1030am, 8pm on WFIL) is WFIL's "Ministry of the Month" for March. Somebody Loves You began 40 years ago and has been on WFIL for many of those years. Pastor Ries shares his story which includes an alcoholic & abusive father, an angry & violent approach to life, a tour of duty in Vietnam, his conversion and marriage, and how the Lord led him to his current role of serving a congregation of over 10,000 members as well as countless more through the Somebody Loves You radio program.

Author Ed Stetzer kicks off the show to discuss his new book, Christians In The Age of Outrage--How To Bring Our Best When The World Is At Its Worst. Stetzer has written/co-written a dozen books & hundreds of article and holds the Billy Graham Distinguished Chair for Church, Mission & Evangelism at Wheaton College. He brings humor and insight into the conversation about how believers can approach & utilize social media in ways that will bring blessing instead of divisiveness.
