Episode description

Author Eric Thurman calls in from Illinois to talk about his new book, "Thrive In Retirement--Simple Secrets for Being Happy for the Rest of Your Life."

Thurman was an early leader in the microfinance movement, heading anti-poverty programs in 30 less-developed nations and led HOPE International as CEO along the way. While president of Global Mission at David C Cook, Thurman established a program for troubled children that currently serves 13 million children a week. Thurman shares about five core areas of life that are keys to living well in one's advanced years (and in general too!)--and how to thrive, not just survive.

The show also features giveaways and a flashback chat with former Newsboy (and current member of Zealand Worship) Phil Joel.
