Mudball Monday 114-Rollback! Who's it For? How does it Inform Architecture?

Rollback, wow, it's here. While I don't believe it's nearly as big of a thing as many people are thinking it is, we have finally arrived at some sort of a show of hand from the USGA on where we are headed with this whole debate about distance and the golf ball and what the next number of years will look like.

While this is an important step, at the end of the day it feels more like a PR play than a significant change to how the game will actually look over the next few years. Only time will tell, and it's nice to know we are moving somewhere!
