Episode description

Annette Dancer suffered a life-changing stroke at the age of 61. On this episode, Molly Tresadern from the BHF talks with Annette, a former civil servant, TV extra and holiday home manager – and now a stroke survivor. Annette talks about how life has changed since she had her stroke at the age of 61, and how she has learned to embrace her ‘new self’ – even finding herself abseiling in the Lake District just six months after she’d been in hospital.
