Bad Metrics

What does get measured doesn't get improved, but sometimes measuring can make things worse. Even in smaller companies, we can easily set up a KPI or metric that makes good people fudge the numbers. Would you leave someone that's a bad fit for longer just because it makes your numbers look better? Too many companies are! More on that in this week's six-minute episode.
