Welcome to the TeachHER Podcast Powered by The Innocent Brown Girl Project. Our mission is to convey strategies for Grit & Grace with educators and advocates of African American and Latina Girls. Thank you for joining us today. Today, our guest is Stephanie McGary. Stephanie is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist who currently runs a private practice called Tots N' Teachers, providing mental health counseling to tots (children) and counseling and consultation to educators and schools. Stephanie is also a child therapist at Vogel Alcove, a non-profit preschool serving children and families experiencing homelessness. She is a native of Dallas, Tx and enjoys working at the intersection of mental health and education. She is the aunt of an amazing nephew named Luke, loves to be outdoors, and enjoys volunteering in her community.
