Episode description

"Thoughts become things" was one of the most memorable phrases from my days of binge watching The Secret.  I loved the interviews of different coaches, experts, and thought leaders offering up their wisdom.

As educators, we have thoughts all the time that we just think are factual truth.  We never stop to question or take a curious look at these thoughts.  Why?  Because we probably like the way these thoughts make us feel.

In this episode, I'll explain more about my take on thoughts and what processes in the brain actually leads into a thought (which can shine the light on students' thought creation as well).

Then I'll guide you through a well-known but little-practiced strategy for finding thoughts and taking a compassionate, unattached look at what's going on in your brain.

I'll even talk about what to do if writing out the chatter in your brain may seem scary.

Your TWDs (Thought Work Daily) is a super powerful and loving way of taking control of your life by managing the thoughts that have a tendency to become beliefs.
