In this episode, I talk about why I didn’t record an episode about the Black Lives Matter protests that happened at the end of May. I talk about how I had a plan to share my views about the protests and my views on the police force, but I decided against it and I explain why. I do talk about the importance of having your own voice and the importance of voting. People tend to lose their interest in the fight for justice when the protests dwindle down and the social media posts fade away, but the fight is never-ending. I hope that Americans feel empowered more than ever to vote and be an active participant in the decisions their community makes every day.
