Episode 24 | "No Justice, No Peace!"
Episode description
The Take Podcast boys are back with this latest episode, entitled “No Justice, No Peace!”.
DaineSays and Dj Illness bring you the two stories that have been dominating the conversation within the culture this week.
To start with, the boys discuss the most recent shocking developments in the case surrounding Breonna Taylor. Only one of the four officers involved, Brett Hankison, was charged this week, and the “wanton endangerment” wrap left us all feeling deflated and dissatisfied. The boys address the situation in depth, and ask, what will it take to truly gain justice?
The boys then move on to Tory Lanez and Meg Thee Stallion, and their alleged shooting incident. Tory, who has been silent on the issue since it happened, this week decided to release a tell all album entitled Daystar. The boys question Tory’s moral fibre given his decision to monetise a traumatic situation. DJ Illness asks, “Should Tory be cancelled now?” amongst other debate provoking questions. Divisive opinions are shared. This is one NOT TO BE MISSED!!!
The third and final topic of this episode is a rice address of Offset and Cardi B’s decision to seek a divorce, citing irreparable differences and embarrassment over Cardi’a single “WAP” as cause for contention. Again, opinions are split on the subject with the live Instagram viewership venting their spleens in the comments!
If you liked this episode, tell three friends. The boys love what they do, but you, the audience, make it worthwhile!
