Episode description

We sat down with Energy Standard's Tom Rushton, the head coach for the ISL club in its 3rd season. Rushton starts our discussion with the humble beginnings of Energy Standard from 2017, when he and James Gibson started training a small group of athletes at Gloria Sports Arena in Hungary in preparation for the 2020 Olympic Games. We then turn to topics such as mid-distance training, prepping different athletes for ISL-type of racing, and altitude training camp after the ISL regular season.
