Selma Schimmel is often hailed as the "original" young adult survivor advocate, originally diagnosed with breast cancer at age 28 in 1983. The founder of Vital Options, a not-for-profit cancer communications organization with a mission to facilitate a global cancer dialogue, Selma's 30 year effort to right the wrongs in our healthcare system go unabated, having, among myriad other accomplishments, helped first hand to give birth to this very program in 2007. Joining Selma will be Terry Wilcox, Creative Director and Supervising Producer of The Group Room.
