Welcome to our very first episode of 'The Student Paramedic Podcast'. We have a chat to Britt Shaw, a new graduate paramedic in the NSW Ambulance Service. When she was a student in 2018 and 2019 she was the Queensland Coordinator for SPA. When creating the podcast, the most common topic that we received questions about was the graduate position and the process of applying. So, we thought 'why not make this our very first episode'? So many of our peers have just completed their degree and are waiting to find out about employment. But, this is also for current students! Britt gives insight into her student experience, her tips for the application process, what she does to look after her wellbeing and much more.
