Episode description

Keith Hennessey was director of the U.S. National Economic Council and a key advisor to the president as the financial crisis hit the U.S. economy in 2008.  He’s been inside the White House during a major crisis — and has seen a recovery.

We talk about how our government is structured to solve problems and how leaders can make the most of the information in front of them — while also making the best use of their voice.

Today, Mr. Hennessey teaches at Stanford and is a Fellow at the Bush Institute, instructing its leadership programs.
