Episode description

A violent clash between the Indian Army and China's People Liberation Army on June 15 night led to the death of 20 Indian army men. The dead, during the savage incident which many call an ambush, included the commanding officer of colonel rank. The Chinese side has also suffered casualties, according to several unconfirmed reports. This was the first time in over four decades that the India-China border witnessed bloodshed. Sruthin speaks to Lt General Deependra Singh Hooda, who formerly led the Indian Army's Northern Command. Listen to the podcast interview.
