Are the stories in the Bible literal, or figurative? For example, was there really a talking bush? Was the serpent in the garden an actual talking snake? Or something else? How do we rectify the idea that miracles, talking snakes and bushes, and parting seas aren’t happening in the world we live in? Why aren’t they? Brian McIntosh: I’ve been thinking quite a bit about COVID and how that fits into Gods plan for us, and the Gospel. But not just COVID… all illness, accidents, things humans don’t do intentionally but just happen. And what does the scripture say about that? What does it say about how we are to deal with it? And does the scripture give us any direction with how to deal with the political division that has been resulting from all this?
