Episode description

April has always been drawn to the Ouija Board and other forms of witchboards.   Join her this week as she is joined by John Kozik, owner of the Salem Witchboard Museum to talk about all things associated with these magical boards.

John Kozik grew up in “America’s Home Town,” Plymouth, Massachusetts. He had a close relationship with his grandmother Franny, and some of his earliest memories are of him watching her use her Ouija board. Her hands moved so quick she wore out the letters and numbers, and after she passed John inherited the worn board, which sparked his talking board collecting craze. John is a musician, writer and manager, and has recorded and toured the world for the past 30 years, playing on over 40 records to date. He's a founding member and treasurer of the Talking Board Historical Society. A non profit who research preserve and celebrate the history of Talking Boards. In Sept of 2019 he opened The Salem Witch Board Museum, The World's only museum dedicated to the history and lore of talking Boards.
