A creation never needs permission from the creator to do what is created to do. Hello and welcome to the Stand Up Dude podcast. I am one of your hosts, Stewart White, along with Tim Bisagno. Maybe your first question is what is a Stand Up Dude? You know, I've just seen that in today's culture, it's bold and potentially offensive to call a man to be a man. A stand up dude is a man being the man that he's created to be.
I know some guys might listen to podcasts or hear guys where they'll hear a lot of calling men out, just shaming them mostly. What makes us different? First of all, nobody that I know likes being called out. A stand up dude isn't calling men out instead we're calling men forward. We don't necessarily have to have this big revolution then. We don't need a revolution but what we do need is a resolution.
We need men that have made a resolute decision to stand up and be the man that they're created to be. Jesus just lived it always. People don't always follow your words but they'll follow your feet. Leaders call forward the best in us by first walking the walk. No one did that better than Jesus. Am I willing, with God's help, to do the work, to discover or rediscover the man that I'm created to be. You keep on running from my eyes. Why do you have to suffer? Come on my arms are open wide.
