Moral Courage

Rick Jackson enlisted in the Marine Corps in the 1980s, later attending Officer Candidates School and commissioning as an infantry officer. He joins this episode to reflect on a career that spanned nearly three and a half decades. He shares one story in particular, from a deployment to Iraq’s restive Anbar province, which included what he describes as one of his lowest days in the Marine Corps.
