Episode description

It’s been said that Space is for everyone, but is it? Once you’ve developed and built the satellite, the process for getting to space - the actual launch – involves complicated dance steps that address multiple interfaces, detailed technical and government documentation, and numerous timelines. Why can’t we just buy a plane ticket for our satellite? This webinar will discuss some of the challenges associated with the launch integration process and ways to accelerate it. This Aerospace Corporation-led panel includes representatives from launch integrator Spaceflight, launch vehicle provider VOX Space, and analytics and engineering firm Bryce Space and Technology.

The Space Policy Show is produced by The Aerospace Corporation’s Center for Space Policy and Strategy. It is a virtual series covering a broad set of topics that span across the space enterprise. CSPS brings together experts from within Aerospace, the government, academia, business, nonprofits, and the national labs. The show and their podcasts are an opportunity to learn about and to stay engaged with the larger space policy community.
