Israel hammers Gaza with airstrikes

Israel’s war against Hamas enters a new phase as Israeli troops are amassing along the Gaza border. This as Hamas is now holding as much as 150 hostages, several of whom have been confirmed to be Americans. A former US hostage negotiator joins. Plus, Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.) has been nominated by Republicans to be the next House speaker but it is unclear if he will have enough votes to do so.
