Episode description

Many People have words. However, John Watkis has something to say. Join us as we discuss speaking with a purpose. Despite his inability to stay in school long enough to graduate from the programs he enrolled in, John has managed to reach world-class status as a speaker, speechwriter, fitness instructor and performer.

John is a High-Stakes Performance Coach, professional speaker, author, and award-winning performer.

He is the author of Speaking Notes: The Eight Essential Elements to Make Your Speech Music to Their Ears (available on Amazon), and is the first Canadian-born actor to play Mufasa in the Disney musical, The Lion King.

In addition to more than two decades of experience delivering keynote speeches and workshops for clients in six countries and on three continents, he has written speeches for corporations, government officials, non-profits, professional speakers, and hall-of-fame athletes.

A partial list of his clients includes: BMW Canada, Canadian Association of Professional Speakers, Human Resources Professional Association, RBC, Bank of Montreal, TD Bank, Moneris Solutions, Canadian Federal Government, and Hills Pet Nutrition.

His speeches and workshops are the perfect mix of inspiration, entertainment and education.
