Mari is a London-based writer and comedian from Germany who has been living in the UK for 15 years.
As a mental health and body positivity blogger, she enjoys an engaged following of over 50k on Instagram, where she openly speaks about her experience with PTSD, anxiety and depression. Aside from her blogging, Mari works in the British film industry and holds a BA in Directing (Newport Filmschool) as well as an MA in Scriptwriting (Goldsmiths, University of London).
As the current climate forced Mari to stop doing any stand up gigs, she finally had enough time to focus on her autobiographic novel about PTSD and just finished the first draft. In her free time she loves walking along the canals in her home borough of Hackney.
