For our first Pro-File episode of the season, we tapped Jerry Dugan, founder of Fall Line Films - not only did he make the first 16mm snowboard movie, he was the first guy to film in Alaska and Japan.

Jerry Dugan was an important figure in early snowboarding - he created Fall Line Films - and with it the first 16mm snowboard films ever made. Known for plot - traveling the world with unruly snowboarding pros of the era - guys like Farmer, Ranquet, Damian Sanders and others. His films were the first ‘hero makers’ from the 1990s. In fact, many of those heroes are considered legends today.

Since FLF Jerry has pursued a number of ventures as a commercial film maker, and with his hobbies - that include flying fixed wing planes.    Did I mention he was the first guy ever to film snowboarding in Alaska - and the woods of Japan? His legacy is still felt by riders around the world today.
